I give it a 3 because I asked for tips and she just gave me normal nails so just make sure u make sure they hear u right

Went with a Groupon for a gel manicure. Id pay twice the FULL price for the service I got :) nails look beautiful, and the arm and neck massage were NEXT level. Never have I ever gotten a neck massage during my manicure, I will expect it from now on

I went in here for the first time because of the proximity to work. Even though they were busy, I didnt have to wait very long. I got a manicure and pedicure and am overall happy with it. The guy who did my nails definitely rushed the painting though, and the paint is already wearing down on the ends after less than one day, for that, I gave them 4 stars instead of 5. I will go here and again and would recommend trying them out!

I love this place! Very clean and the staff are friendly. I called to see if it was too late to come in and they left me come in at 6:25, they close at 7. They didnt rush and my nails and toes look fabulous! Holly does my nails and they will last for weeks!

I got my nails done 4 days ago and 2 of them have broken off already. Im appalled with the shotty workmanship. Normally my nails last a month. This was the first and last time Ill be going here.

I used to love this place. It was the only place I trusted for a good job. The last visit they gave me my worst mani/pedi (given from two different people) I think I’ve ever had. I could of done all of it better myself which is saying a lot. Really, really sad. I lost a good one 😞

I started coming To PJ Nails since I moved to Austin last year 2015 because it was 2min from my apartment and it was reasonably priced.... until the last two times I came into the store. the only service I get here is lip and face wax. The last two times I went in they charged completely different prices. I told the receptionist that last time they charged me $13 and the time before that was $12 and now they wanted to charge me $20. Due to language barrier I didnt understand her explanation nor did the other employees even bother to help her to try to explain the charges. Meanwhile you have a group of employees in the wax room laughing and chit chatting while I got my wax done out in the open where the pedicure chairs where sunlight was hitting right in my face. Im sorry but this is not worth 20 bucks. Pj Nails just lost a loyal customer.

Pj nails has super friendly staff who is honest about product. I work in the same center and all of the customers that come in after going to Pj nails are happy. Plus people keep going back!

I got a groupon and made an appointment. 24 hours later my mom tried to make an appointment and they refused to honor the groupon and stated we needed to contact groupon for a refund. Horrible service.

Ever since moving to Austin I would go to PJ nails because it was so close to my apartment at the time and they always did such a good job and treated me so well. After moving to another part of Austin, I unfortunately wasn’t able to go to PJs that often. Yesterday I went across town just to go to them because I missed their great service. Unfortunately I didn’t get the same experience I usually did. I asked for a new set of gel nails. There was somehow confusion from the start. They kept telling me I asked for powder nails when I actually asked for gel, and they blamed me for the miscommunication. A lady started to take off my previous set I had on, then stopped mid way because one of her favorite clients wanted her to do her nails, so she left me sitting there until someone else was done and could help me. I finally received what I asked for, and I go to pay. They said Venmo was the best way, so I tried to pull up their profile, but Venmo was acting up for some reason and wouldn’t let me pay them. I said I’m so sorry it won’t work and I also showed her it wasn’t working. The lady scoffed at me and reluctantly took my credit card. I couldn’t believe how rude she was when all I was trying to do was pay her. They made me feel like such an inconvenience to them. Unfortunately I won’t be going back there again. Makes me so sad because I used to recommend people to go there.
