Staff is really nice here and did a wonderful job with my nails. Called in to book an appointment and they were able to fit me in the same day. I took my SNS out into the desert and fit right in!

Five stars!! The signature pedicure was so great, they have this jelly type of texture that you put your feet in and it’s something I’ve never had in a pedicure but loved!! The owners are extremely kind and really want you to be happy with your service. Originally there was some miscommunication on me getting dip and not acrylic but they quickly solved it and didn’t make me feel uncomfortable about it. Ariana did my nail design and was so great to talk to. We got to chat about the bachelor and it just felt like you were talking to a friend. You can also be very honest with her regarding you liking something or not and I think that’s a really great quality. My boyfriend recommended this place and I will definitely come back!!

My new go-to nail salon!! I don’t have anything bad to say about my experience here. The nail technician who did my ombré dipping powder manicure did a fantastic job. My pedicure was lovely. This is an appointment-only salon which I love because it ensures I get seen when I need to come in. 10/10 would recommend this place!!

I highly recommend this place. I stopped in looking for a food nail tech. The lady I went to had moved away and I had been to several places around town. Unfortunately non of them were good. I had read the reviews and then viewed their IG page. I was impressed so I thought Id stop by. Can I just say I am glad I did. The owner Sue was so welcoming and made me feel great. Cherry was the woman who did my nails and she was amazing! I am DEFINITELY coming back here. You have a life long customer! 😊

Alright....Ive been to a few nail shops in town. Today was my 1st time to Designer Nails....they are AWESOME!! They are personable, professional, they take their time and do an excellent job. Right now appointment only. Trust me....you wont regret it. Very very happy customer!!!!

I have been here a couple of times now to get the SNS nails and I have a great experience each time I go. I have tried the tips with SNS and now I just have my natural nail with SNS. My nails always come out amazing and they never chip... seriously 3 weeks in and they still look perfect except that my nails grow out and they need to be re done :)

I needed a highly reputable salon following arm/wrist surgery as I am not able to do my own nails (my usual habit) while recuperating, and I found Designer Nails through web reviews. What a GREAT find in Southwest Austin. I was extremely impressed by my first visit there a couple of weeks ago. And, Im heading back. Not only are they strong in customer service and in quality of work, but they also have a very clean facility and relaxing environment. Even after recuperation is completed, I plan to use this salon to treat myself occasionally and to refer friends to it.

Ive been going to the same place for almost 20 years and recently I was super disappointed. I thought Id try something new and I found Designer Nails. The best choice ever! Everyone is super friendly and it is so welcoming. My nails look amazing! I didnt get her name, but shout out to the young girl who hooked me up! Im looking forward to going back and getting a pedicure.

Very welcoming owners and staff. Clean and comfortable spa like shop right here in the neighborhood. My SNS nails look great and no one ever comments about how long I am between visits. The nails really hold up very well and because of my busy schedule, they do their best to accomodate me with appointments. Because they take the previous coating off everytime I have my nails done, my nails are very healthy. They charge fairly for the services they provide.

I went there because of the excellent reviews and they did not let me down. I was a walk in on Sat at 6pm and they took such good care of me.They made sure I made the best nail choices according to what I like. It had been over 10yrs since I got a full set of nails. It was amazing watching the new technique of the S&N nails instead of acrilyc nails. The tech worked hard and they even stayed late until I was finished. I wont go anywhere else. They really take care of you as a customer and you can feel it when you are there!

I wish I could give this place more stars! Ive been here a few times, and they have done an incredible job every time. They take their time, and do great quality work. I went to a different salon a few weeks back and they butchered my nails. I came back here and they fixed all of them and did an amazing job. Each time Ive been here, my nails last me 3-4 weeks, no cracks or chips. I wont go to any other salon at this point.

I had an amazing experience! My mom and I were just there this past Saturday to have pedicures and in my case SNS Nails. The pedicure was super relaxing, and my nails turned out beautifully. I cant wait to go back :D

I used to LOVE Designer Nails. NO MORE!!! Thursday I called and made an appointment with my regular nail tech. When I got there, I could tell she had been crying. She said she couldnt do my nails anymore and that she was moving to a salon closer to her house. She is the ONLY reason I continued with that salon. Then I was shuffled off to a young woman for my pedicure and a man for my manicure. I was and am furious with the new owners. She and Kim are both leaving. I will NEVER return to that shop. Nail techs: dont work here. They are not good people.

I’ve never been to a better nail salon than Designer Nails. They are the best in Austin, especially when it comes to SNS. I’ve had my nails done by 4 different technicians and have never been disappointed. They’re all so great at what they do, sooo nice and make sure your experience is exactly what you want. The salon itself is extremely clean and well kept - they have diffusers so it smells like a spa. Would definitely recommend x 10!!!

This nail salon is literally the best place in Austin. This team is very helpful and they truly aim to give you the end product you are desiring. They treat their customers like family and will do their best to accommodate you.I do recommend making an appointment ahead of time to make sure they can dedicate their time to you and provide the best service possible.Ive never been to a salon that REALLY keeps up with the nail designs/colors that are trending on social media. The nail techs care about their customers and will give their input on the best treatments possible for healthy nails. They specialize in SNS andknow what theyre doing.Give them a shot. You wont regret it. I live in North Austin and make the trip down South for this shop. Yes. Theyre THAT good.

My experience was great! Everyone was so extremely nice and personable. It was clean and sterile and I had a great time.

My friend and I went yesterday for the first time, and the shop is clean and well out together. The people there are friendly and seem to have good experience. I am giving 2 stars because the woman who did my pedicure cut my big toe and that thing is still burning! I think she might have been in training still because she initially put on the wrong polish (I had asked for gel). When she put on the gel, one of my big toes was not done very well so she began to scrap the paint off the nail. She scrapped so hard that it rubbed my skin raw by the cuticle, and it burns badly now if anything hits it. Again, it was a fine shop with friendly people but the skin cut set back the review.

This was my first visit since the new owners took over. I got a manicure from Sue and a pedicure from Hanna and both did an excellent job. I will be going back!

Ive been a long time regular client of Designer Nails. Today I took a friend for her first visit and she, like me, found it a wonderfully relaxing spa with exceptional service and care given to every single detail. No rushing, wonderful pedi with hot stones and deep massage, couldnt ask for anything more.

I love Designer Nails. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They genuinely try and get to know you and care about your life and your nail care. I am always happy with my services (typically deluxe pedi and SNS mani).

BEST. PLACE. EVER! I have had my nails done with SNS all over the country, as I travel for work, and NOWHERE compares to Designer Nails. They are family run and everyone is so nice. I get my nails done by Loi, the husband of Sue and father of Rebecca. He is unbelievably meticulous and I love it!!!! All the little extras he does during the process make all the difference. Will never go anywhere else in Austin. I try to time my appointments for when I’m home if at all possible. If you are a perfectionist, this is your salon!

I came here after travelling way to far out to get my nails done with a friend. Well one of my SNS nails on my real nail was cracked in the middle and bending/hurting. So under fast emergency I went here becuase it it closer to where i live. I asked for places to go and many people raved of this place. As i went they had a smaller SNS color selection but thats not an issue for me. I came in with a pinterest inspired design of florals on one nail. I had Tammie, she was great and actually speaks to you and you can understand I LOVE THAT. However I loved the work she did on my nails but it 1. added up costly so fast! it was a new price for each color of dip you did, I did 3 and then the art work and then some. I was fine with it - until day 4 the SNS was Cracking and the design artwork was chipping on my nails already at day 2. I complained and then asked for them to be re done - I went in 2 days later to get them fixed up before a company event and they did - however 4 days later again i had 3 nails that the SNS was cracking and chipping off my nails. So in my experience their SNS is not great or strong enough, I had the others on my nails with no problem for up to 5 weeks. This kind isnt even lasting a week and breaking my long nails I worked for..... so i dont find it worth the money, I may go somewhere else next time...

I came here after running into this girl at the grocery store who had on a beautiful set of nails & she recommended this nail shop to me. I was in awe after speaking to the new owners. Apparently, they have been in the salon industry for over 15 years. Very experienced (AWESOME) and all the nail tech here are all related, they work together as a team. Suu + her husband (Loi) is the most generous and kind people Ive ever connected with, compared to all the nail salons that Ive been to. Best of all, I LOVEEEEEE my nails. Suu did an amazing job& you can tell that she really cares about her clients. Hanna did my pedicure, though shes very quiet, but very friendly & I have to say shes amazing with the massages and very creative. Look on YELP to see my awesome flower designs that I love so much. Im so glad Ive found my go-to nail shop. I will never go anywhere else and I will definitely recommend this place to everyone I know (just like the girl at the grocery store lol). Show up with some respect and I guarantee you will get some and more in return.
