I had such a great experience at Cute. I had my appointment with Tiffany and she was amazing. Front desk was communicative and super helpful with scheduling out my next appointment as well! I felt very cared for and immediately comfortable. The vibe is so fun! Highly recommend this studio for any type of manicure - I chose artists choice simple nail art for reference. Book here! Support local biz!
Im someone that almost always has my nails done, i usually do them myself at home, but ive finally gotten to a point in my life where im tired of having to repaint my nails every few days when they start to chip- so for the last couple of months ive been getting gel manicures once a month at cute! actually, before starting to come to cute, id never gotten a manicure before. so at first, i was a little anxious about the whole thing, but everyone has always been super nice. ive gone to a different artist each time, but have had a lovely time with everyone so far! maddi did my orange nails, tia my green ones, and renna did the custom art. every manicure ive gotten has lasted for at least 3 weeks, and could probably go even longer if i needed it to.i love that cute is open late, because i have a wack schedule where i usually dont get off work until 7pm and im also a huge fan of the service industry discount they do on sundays/mondays because literally nothing feels better than treating yourself after a long week of getting yelled at by customers.
I LOVE THIS PLACE! My pedicure with Maddie was one of the best Ive ever had! She was very gentle and thorough and didnt use any sharp instruments on my delicate little toesies. And my lucky cat Friday the 13th tattoo with Bree was amazing! She was so friendly and obligingly. I get compliments on it all the time and it healed really well. I will definitely be going back for more services in the future!
I have been going to Cute Nail for 2 years and have been pleased with my nails after every appointment. The nail techs are very talented in what they do and you cannot find nail art like this anywhere else! I will continue to be a repeat customer. Went in wanting Lisa Frank inspired nails and Tia delivered!
Got a nice gel manicure with the “artists choice” for some fun on the nail art. They made a last minute change in my appointment time, I was happy to accommodate, however-I was not aware that I had to pay $20 extra to have gel removed from my nails, Bc I didn’t get the original manicure from Cute. This is the first time I had had to pay extra to have gel removed,But I also - This is my second gel manicurePost Covid, so it could be a new thing.Artists Choice made me think that there would be nail art on all of my nails - but I was told at the appointment that only 2Nails on each hand could have nail art.SomeMinor things that could have been explained prior to the appointment or on the website, would have been helpful. The work of the manicurist was very nice and a week later it still looks good. They are a CASH ONLY nail salon, but there is an ATM on site.Definitely visit the bathroom for someFun photo ops.
Akina did an awesome job on my gel manicure! I absolutely love it. I showed her an Instagram post and she replicated it perfectly. I personally do not like using machines to take previous gel off, but she was extremely gentle and made me feel very comfortable. Can’t wait to go back for my next manicure :)
Overbooked but worth it. Theyve become so busy that if anyone were to need their nails done for a specific event, theres not a chance of getting seen til 2-3 weeks out, maybe longer. So planning is definitely a wayy in-advance kind of thing here. Their staff is sweet overall, some of them arent very friendly but you can tell thats not what they get paid for.. There are a lot of kinks to be ironed out at here but theres still lots to be enjoyed.
Ive come to Cute several times to get simple single color gel manicures because I like the queer friendly atmosphere and artists who work there. Todays experience with Akina really stood out. Not only did she give me the most technically perfect gel manicure I think Ive ever gotten, she was kind and compassionate with me after I mentioned my subdued mood was due to having received bad news just before the appointment. She really lifted my spirits with her demeanor and skill and I could tell she really enjoys what she does and takes pride in every session, no matter how simple and straightforward the services are. Thanks Akina for making a sad day better.
I absolutely love this place. I hadnt found my place to get my nails done in Austin yet, so I decided to check this place out after one of my co-workers was talking about their stickers. Ive been going here since November. Every time I go back its even better. All the staff is super sweet, they will meet your wants, over exceed your expectations, and blow your mind with some of their work. Some true talent here. Check out my photos if you dont believe me. Keep up the amazing work. The gel has always been on my natural nails and has lasted over a month! The BEST place to get your nails done if your looking for a local business to support and the hip, Austin feels. They support local artists by displaying/ offering sales to customers. LGBT friendly :) Not only just for nails, they do waxing, mini tattoos, tooth gems, have the cutest gifts/ souvenirs and so much more.
Pros: Awesome location, easy parking, aesthetic, and inspiring space. Everyone from the receptionist to the nail techs are incredibly professional, communicative, friendly and timely. You get a personal take home mini manicure set for future appointments. I got the mini gel done, and it came out exactly how I wanted: blue ombre background & whimsical clouds with good grow out potential. I was planning on having this clean set last me a few weeks, especially at this studios price point.Which leads me to the Cons: a week after my appointment, the gel starts lifting at the cuticles on all fingers. It started as small white bubbles, but soon peeled into full gaps that my hair gets caught in. Im disappointed, but inevitably getting them removed 10 days after having them applied. Ill have to really consider coming back for an incredibly cute but short lived gel nail art set.
This is undoubtedly one of my favorite places in the universe.I’ve been coming here since shortly after they opened and I cannot tell y’all in words how much joy my monthly nail appointments bring me.I know it can be frustrating that you can’t simply walk in and get nails same day but TRUST ME it’s worth the effort and the wait of getting an appointment. Join the cult today!
Cute is awesome. I did an artists choice nail art, asking for something simple but pretty. Lorb delivered! The vibe there is very open and creative, with very skilled artists in case youre looking for complex, freehand nail art (as I could tell by looking at everyone elses nails LOL). My pedicure with Caitlyn was a pleasure, too!
Cute nail studio lived up to its name! Everything was so cute and amazing. The staff was sweet and we had a great time.
I saw the great reviews for this location and before heading to Austin from Houston I decided to book two pedicures. Next day, we were told at the last moment before boarding our flight that it would be delayed and by the time I was able to get service and contact the salon (were from Canada), it was an hour prior to our appointment. Upon contacting them, i explained that I was running behind due to our flight being delayed and that I am by no means asking to cancel but to have them give us a later appointment. They said they have none and that they would charge us for half of our service. I asked to speak to management and after a 20 min conversation, explaining to her that we would love to use their services, pay a good tip and to come in and even to call and let us know if they had cancellations the day of or the following to make up for something we didnt even control, the manager said okay, let me get back to you only for me to get an email recipe right after showing they did charge us.What a great customer service and management you have to make someone feel so heard and see to their needs and questions. So unfortunate, but at least you made your money!
I went for my birthday and have a history of passing out but I never thought it would happen here. I let my nail tech Maddie know I felt like I was about to pass out and she immediately stopped the pedicure. She talked to me calmly to and even gave me some coconut cuticle oil so I had a nice scent nearby, she also got me a paper towel to fan and pat myself. I really appreciated the way she handled everything because I know its just as scary to witness someone about to pass out as it is for me experiencing it. She made the rest of the pedicure a lot better after that. Thank you so much Maddie, youre amazing!
The studio is indeed very cute and well designed, and all the nail techs are so nice and seem passionate about their work. I excitedly told my friend about this place, to which she warned me that she knew someone who got a subpar manicure from one of the nail techs.Feeling nervous about potentially paying a high price for a disappointment, I scheduled a regular gel manicure with simple nail art, without extensions, to try out the studio. I left the studio with my manicure feeling good and liking the art, though I thought $68 was a little steep for the nail art I requested being simple lines, and my nail appointment only lasting about an hour.Unfortunately, less than 5 days later, the gel began lifting at the front tip of four of my nails, the worst being on both thumbs. This sometimes happens when my nails grow out under extensions and my nails werent prepped well, but Ive never had this happen to me so quickly after getting my nails professionally done (usually only when I do them myself, because Im an amateur). It leaves me wondering if maybe some of the nail techs arent at a professional level yet?I will give the benefit of the doubt, but Im definitely weary about paying premium for a full set of custom nails if theyre going to lift quickly. Staff was really kind, but I do hope CNS is taking the time to teach new nail techs the basics of nail prep.
Kendall made my service exceptional! I didn’t get the name of the gal at the desk but she was also extremely accommodating. Happy to see a salon sticking to their covid safety precautions.Update: 5 days later and my gel mani and even pedi are coming off. The gel mani coming off at 5 is disappointing but could be expected. Just not for the price. The pedicure already coming off it very surprising. I’ve never had a pedicure that didn’t last me at least 3 weeks. The salon isn’t close to me so it’s safe to say I won’t be making the special trip just for this salon in the future.
The nail tech was very professional and nice, but they attempted to charge me $73 for my ONE nail repair. When I explained it was only ONE nail they charged me $43.For shilac. Not dip, nothing else needed but a slip of silk. The only reason I didnt argue is because the tech spent some time trying to match the shilac to the rest of my nails, which were dip.I guess theres a reason they are cash only. Its easier to rob people and not worry about them canceling the charge. The tech is the only reason I didnt give them a one star.
A waste of money you’re only paying for the location and that the shop is pink. I paid $145 for nails that I don’t even like. Judging off their work on Instagram I was thinking I would leave happy but no. Don’t post on Instagram what you can’t do. I left very upset. I only went to see what the hype of the shop was about and yes it was really nice but is it really worth all that money NO! Just go to a regular nail shop because it’s most definitely not worth the experience! All the nail techs are nice and sweet but the nail prices are over charged for no reason only because it’s downtown and the place is pink and cute. Like come on now. I paid so much money for disappointing nails now I have to wait 3 weeks to take them off. I don’t think I would go back there unless they lowered the prices because it’s just insane!! And it’s only cash so they can rob you for money. So they don’t have to worry about canceling Smh. Maybe my review would be better if my nails came out right? Who knows? for someone who is paying this much money for nails and they come out wrong is a shame.
Just got my first ever wax, a Brazilian. I was nervous, but Hannah made me feel super comfortable and chatted with me the whole time. It was the best experience, better than I’d hoped for. Thank you so much, Hannah!
My partner went here. They said the staff was exceptional. The place was clean and the vibes there were good. They take no walk ins so you have to make an appointment but its well worth it. Their mani and pedi were on point.
I don’t usually get my nails done, so I was a little intimidated by this salon at first, but once I walked in, I felt right at home. This salon is SO cute, but also very warm and inviting. Myriam asked me what my favorite colors were and then she showed me a few design ideas, and then she started. She was kind, professional, and my nails ended up SO much more than what I anticipated. She was very attentive and asked me what I thought through the whole process, and even told me what she put on my nails as she did it. I loved this experience and will absolutely come back. They deserve all of the business. Thank you so much for this instant confidence boost. The staff was also SO kind and it was awesome being around women who loved nail art and cute stuff. I will come back time and time again because of this!!!
I love Cute! Have been an admirer through the pandemic and finally (after being 💉 of course) got to experience what I can say was completely heavenly. I got to work with Akina who worked with my idea and made it come to life. Can’t wait to come back!!
Ive been going to Cute Nail Studio since the beginning of the year and Ive been so happy with the service and results every time! After searching and searching for the best nail salon in ATX - I must have tried 15 different places - Im finally done searching. The hard gel they use is much more durable and lasts longer than regular gel polish other places use. And I finally got art done last time and couldnt be happier with the results! I told my artist Julia that I wanted Crown and Paw style portraits of my cats and she f*cking nailed it!
What an amazing place!! First of all everything is so cute, for real. Aesthetic is incredible. I went here to get my wedding manicure and Lorbe did a fantastic job. Everyone was so kind. Run dont walk here!
I’ve been to cute several times and loved the experience and especially my nails. Being a daughter of a nail tech I’ve grown up around salons all my life and I know the craft very well. These ladies are amazing at what they do and I actually wish I lived closer to go more often.10/10 would definitely recommend 😁✨
Unfortunately, they book up well in advance so I wasnt able to get my nails done. So I can only review on the studio itself and the receptionist. The studio is full of good-energy vibes. So welcoming. The receptionist was lovely and invited me to have a look around and suggested I check out the restroom. The suggestion was just odd enough to spark interest 🤔 so I went in there. Its like a little one-man club. So creative. I left the studio with a couple of bottles of nail polish and smile on my face.
First time getting waxed! I got a brazilian and my underarms waxed by Elyse. Elyse was very body positive and definitely an expert. Im obsessed with how it turned out! Also got a manicure from Victoria. I loved our whole experience together. My nails are perfect! Victoria is so sweet! Ill be back to see yall!
First time getting nail art. Salma did a great job recreated the idea I showed her. They look perfect! Plus, I have had them on for 3 weeks and they are still holding strong!
All of the employees wore masks and were very polite. All the workstations were socially distanced and there were plexiglass screens between me and my nail tech as an extra barrier. My tech Lizette did an amazing job on my nails as well. Cute Nail Studio was affordable and overall a great experience!
Yesterday morning my mother, who was visiting from out of town, asked me if I could find her a place that did eyebrow waxing and tint. Personally, Ive never used Cute Nail for any services, but I had several friends who had recommended it to me. I called the studio and set up the appointment for 4:15 PM with one of their nail techs. As I picked up my mom to head to the appointment, I realized we were running a couple of minutes behind due to Austins rush hour traffic, so I called the studio to let them know. Ive attached a photo of two phone calls I made to the studio to let them know I was right around the corner. They didnt pick up the first phone call, and the second call to them failed. Seeing that my eta was 4:23 PM, I figured I would get there and head inside. However, the front desk receptionist called me at 4:21 PM from her personal phone to let me know that they were canceling my appointment, charging my card, and putting me down as a no-show. By the time the call ended with the receptionist, I was already parked outside of Cute Nail. Naturally, I was apologetic and embarrassed. I was not aware that there was an automatic cancellation for someone who was running 6 minutes late. However, the receptionist explained to me that it was the nail techs decision. I didnt want to put up a fight, so I decided to leave. As a first-time customer, I wish I would have been warned when setting up my appointment that being 5 minutes late results in an automatic cancellation. I definitely wouldnt have scheduled an appointment at 4:15 PM with Austin rush hour traffic. It took me some time to figure out if I wanted to leave this review, but I thought Id warn others of the type of service to expect from the salons employees. I may have lost some money from my decision to try Cute Nail as a service, but they lost me as a future customer or from ever recommending them to others.
Nicole is a magical nail goddess who has blessed me twice now with the cutest nails I’ve ever had. Honestly my last set could of lasted an extra two weeks if I hadn’t of removed them due to a work emergency, her acrylics are not to be trifled with, I’ve never had nails last as long as Nicole’s! Pure sorcery or maybe just raw talent, either way I’ll be back.
I loved my experience here! Chow did my nails for my friends upcoming bachelorette and somehow gave me exactly what I wanted despite pretty much no direction from me. The salon itself is unlike anything I’ve ever seen! Can’t wait to go back.
I had a **WONDERFUL** experience here. The space itself just made me feel like home, the techs were all really awesome and happy to help, and I just had an overall uplifting, inspiring, and coming home time while I was here. I salute the ladies of Cute Nail Salon. Spectacular, yall.
This is not CUTE, it is gross and uncalled for, especially during a pandemic. This is not how you run a nail salon. Perhaps, you could get your cute child some proper toys instead? I will not ever come here, and I will make sure everyone I know is aware of how y’all run your business. 🤮
Amazing customer service! And the best dang nails in the whole wide world. Safe place for all. Dont read the recent one star review from the Nicole woman. She just got her butt hurt on Instagram because someone clapped back at her for spreading misinformation. Protect this wonderful business at all costs!
I fell in love with this place the second I walked thru the door, because the space is adorable AF! - i found myself gasping at how freaking CUTE everything was in there; from the unique decor to the glitter on the walls, but mostly because I was greeted soooo warmly at the welcome center. My experience was absolutely amazing, my nail tech(Chow Moji) was super easy going and kind. This was my first time ever, although Ive been wanting to visit here for such a long time. The environment is truly magical, I did not want my appointment to come to an end! LolTrust me, do yourself a favor and book your appointment, you wont regret it!Chow kept making sure I was comfortable and even helped me decide on some colors, because i tend to be pretty indecisive when choosing any nail color. Ha!I already cant wait to go back for my next pedi!
For context, i am very anxious in salon settings. i don’t know much about the etiquette except what i googled while i was there and i always feel like i amnot feminine enough to be in those places so i rarely go in. i was hesitant to put this because i understand businesses have their off days which is fine. on their booking site though, some nail techs have booking increments of 15 minutes (3:15, 3:30, etc.). but if you look at the descriptions for many of their mani/pedi services, it takes an hour to complete. i don’t know if this is standard for salons, but it doesn’t add up. i realized this when i was waiting 50 minutes for my appointment. i was also told it would be about a 20 minute wait after i waited about 10 minutes. i decided to leave after 50 minutes of waiting after my appointment was scheduled and i was charged a service fee (i just left $20 bc i was crying at that point and i understand i had to pay it; this is about the time). i blocked out a fair portion of day for this appointment because i live 45 minutes away and i turned up essentially empty handed. if the 15 minute appointment practice/hour wait is some sort of standard then i’ll take the review down because i should have expected to wait.EDIT: i paid twenty up front, and then they charged twenty-four to my card. i called and they said they were under the impression the twenty was a tip for the tech. i wont be requesting refund because im not going to take away a tip, but it was not communicated to me at all when i was in the store that that is what they assumed i was doing.
Love this place.Cute on the outside and so much more on the inside. This was my first time and wont be my last.Hailey helped me in coming up with a color design to go with a bathing suit Ill be wearing in a photoshoot tomorrow. To see photos check out @letsblove igI only had the simple art but its so not simple. I love how it came out. And cant wait to come back.#atxnailsalon
I love that cute is inclusive, clean and they took/are taking awesome care of their employees during the pandemic.when it was time for my nieces prom/graduation nails, I knew where to book. :)
I love cute and the staff there. They always do an amazing job and they are so nice. They are also super understanding and I always feel welcomed and safe here.
I just want to say that I got a cute lil tooth gem placed on my canine here in 2018 and its still there almost 3 years later. My dentist is always impressed every time he sees me for a biannual and its still hanging on. This place is an Austin gem and has a lot of really talented people working there.
Very nice people!! I have been here 2xs now for tooth gems 💎. Did a great job and will be back 🙂
I am very pleased with my manicure and overall experience @ Cute! I felt informed, comfortable, and heard throughout the entire process. S/O to Tia! Thank you all!
Pro: cute place. Great pedicure!Con: they kept changing the time.Con: the manicures were very poor. Way overpriced for the lack of service. Very disappointed.
Absolutely love this aesthetically pleasing nail salon. Ive got an awful nail biting habit and have pretty much never gone to a salon and when I have I was so embarrassed and shamed for my nails. I never went again until I contacted cute nail studio and was received by a lovely receptionist who explained to me that it is absolutely judgment free and they are here to help! She recommended Nicole to me and my experiences since have been incredible! I am not picky so I let her have creative freedom and they always gave me a great set of claws that lasted so well on my stubby nails! Thanks for everything cute nail studio you have a client for life!
Ugh cannot say enough good things about this place. I’ve gotten my nails done here with Tia, and recently I got a flash tattoo done with their tattoo artist. My nails always look AMAZING and my tattoo looks so good. They have a service discount on sundays and mondays for really anyone who works so it’s such a good deal. They are always so friendly, positive, and uplifting when I come in. Thank you cute nail studio!!
The person I worked, Elyse, with did not seem interested in providing me the Cute Brow Service (wax and tint) or the welcoming environment to discuss my services. When I was confused about my services and asked for clarification she rushed through explanations. The only thing she did elaborate on were topics like food and the east side that she brought up for small talk that I politely entertained, but was not interested in. When I specifically asked about an explanation of the service and the types of products being used again, she did not seem to be equipped to educate me even though she mentioned she had done the job for 9 years. After 8 months of not being in a salon I chose Cute specifically for what Ive read and heard about the quality of their services. I was so disappointed. I asked for a bit more waxing as my hairline and brows grow thick and meet and she said she would take care of it. In the end she didnt. I also ended up having to tweeze a lot of obvious strays that were missed.Normally I dont mind doing that but for a $40 wax and tint I expected much more detail and care. Also she stated that the tint would last 2 weeks with care and when I asked about what to avoid she said steam a few times so I asked about showering and again she was not very informative or communicative. After one shower it seems like all the color/product is gone and I did not rub or wash my brows. Also I have sensitive skin and definitely am used to redness (not a big deal) but she did not provide or communicate that she provided aftercare to that area that Im aware of. Overall Im profoundly underwhelmed and uncomfortable with the experience I had and Im so glad I went with my gut and booked a $40 service instead of the full $90 one or a set of nails. Its hard to pin down when I realized this, but I distinctly felt like I was just an annoying first of the day customer. I showed up 5 or 10 min early and was still seen 5 minutes late which I normally would not care about if the services were on par. AND if *they* werent so adamant about their 15 min late cancelation policy of charging 50% or 100% of services if late (I received conflicting info from multiple people/emails) which is completely understandable in covid times. I also felt as though she was relying on the aesthetics and notoriety of the facility to make up for any sort of enthusiasm or interest even in providing me with the Cute Brow service.Side note: the $10 cuticle oil pen felt like a scam. I had to twist soooo much to get product out of the pen and then it had glitter? In the end I paid $10 for less than .2 oz of oil that I cant use unless I want glitter all over the place.
Absolutely love my nails, but goodness for the price ($150ish) you better love them. Edit - after doing a bit a research I have that the price was actually fair for Gel extensions. Ive had mine going on four weeks and they still look amazing if you dont look at the grow out. I would definitely recommend coming to check this place out.
Love this place and how welcoming they are for the LGBTQIA+ community of Austin! Everyone is so warm and welcoming from start to finish! Plus, who doesn’t love a gorgeous colorful environment while being pampered!?
I went for waxing and my provider made me feel comfortable and calm. It was my first time being waxed. The studio is clean, colorful and filled with kind professionals. Hannah was wonderful and today care of me. I’ll be coming back!
Ive been coming to Cute for close to 2 years now. This is my go-to waxing place! I had never been waxed before but wanted a Brazilian. Elyse is amazing and I highly HIGHLY recommend her. She took it slow, talked me through everything for my first time, and now I only go to her. The staff are all super nice and welcoming and the whole place is full of good vibes.
Nicole nailed me! I cannot even begin to get over what a little piece of perfect, fun, weird and wild heaven Cute Nail Studio is! I wanted to live there forever. Bath bombs with your pedi, the best nail art Ive ever had, great conversations, awesome personalities and like, the cutest feckin bathroom. The style and creativity that goes into this spot is genuinely fantastic. The second you walk in, you know youre about to have the best Mani/pedi experience ever. My nails lasted a VERY long time, too!The nail art Nicole created for me was a dream design and I wish my nails could look like that always and forever.Tip: Make sure you visit the website and look at the What should I book? section to make sure youre getting the right type of appointment for the services you want. Real art takes time.I live very far away, but every time Im in Austin, Ill make a point to go here.Love you guys so much!♡#CuteNailCult♡(Miss Nyx)
First time coming here and probably won’t come again, bathroom was cool for pictures but I left with my nails being super thick in certain spots and not even. Nail tech didn’t talk much. The station i was at was dirty and she put the nail tools straight onto the table instead of on something to keep them sanitary. Just not worth the 80 bucks in my opinion.Nail tech didn’t ask how i was or my name lmao who said i wanted to talk about celebrities but pop off wasn’t worth the two hour driveI really should give one star since my lady cut me and made me bleed and said it’s because i have dry skin.
When something that is supposed to be relaxing, like a manicure, turns into an uncomfortable experience full of judgement, you might as well forget about it. Cute nail studio is the opposite! They are so welcoming and free of the judgement you find at other nail salons. They make me want to love my hands again!
I came here with the intention to get my nails done and have them last for at least a week. I scheduled an appointment with my friends to have artist choice simple gel art done and after just 4 days my polish has peeled completely off on two nails. I’m so upset that I spent so much money for a gel manicure that couldn’t even last 7 full days. I had high hopes for this establishment but it turns out the only impressive thing is the aesthetic.Edit: so you claim this is a fake review but I was under the west party on February 5th (: my artist was Tiffany. Your reply was unprofessional.
Cute is just that - cute. I have gone to Nicole a couple times and shared what color or texture I was trying to accomplish, and let her get creative with it. She has a number of colors and nail glitter, and an artistic eye to lend to your nails. I love visiting here. Heads up that they are going to be a cash only business beginning 7/1/2019.
First time coming here on Monday! love how my nails came out and the environment is very kawaii! 💕
I went here the other day and the nail technician was super rude and the table wasn’t clean. I felt very unwelcome and uncomfortable. I really wanted to come here because I heard it had good reviews but honestly my nails don’t look good and are already chipping. I did like the aesthetic but that was all I thought was decent. It has only been two days since I got my nails done...
The cutest! My nail artist was incredible and my nails were pure perfection for a solid 3 weeks. Thank you beauties!!
I absolutely LOVE my birthday nails! Salma did an incredible job at bringing the pictures I showed her to life!I am literally wearing a work of art in my nails! Cant wait to show them off everywhere and recommend Salma and CUTE to all of my friends!THANK YOU!!!!P.s. get their tropical cuticle oil, it smells AMAZING !
I love Cute! They make me feel so welcomed and comfortable in their space! I don’t go anywhere else.
The staff is incredibly unprofessional if you dont share their views and opinions. They even told me they never claim to be professional. This is not the type of people I would want to do business with.Edit: the owners reply is very telling. I would NEVER support such a business who fires shots at a customer who has supported their business for over a year...especially in these struggling times.
This is not your average nail salon! Everything from the exterior of the building, to the bathroom, to the plants are so cute! Aside from the level of cuteness, you’ll want to come here for outstanding nail art and customer service. I’ve never left feeling anything other than thrilled by the work of art on my nails!
Soo cute ! I had a great experience and everybodys so nice! Spent the day getting foxy and tattooed at the same salon! I love it, will definitely go back!
I have been a client at Cute nails for over a year, and their artists do absolutely amazing work. I mean over the top Instagram-worthy nail art that will be notice by everyone who is blessed to see your hands. On top of that, the staff is so friendly, open and inclusive. I drive an hour to go to Cute nails, and would never complain because it is so worth it. I would recommend Salma and Kendall from personal experience, but honestly all their artist are so talented.
I dont know if its the bright colors, the inclusivity, or what, but something about this nail studio really brings out the trolls. I personally love knowing that a business exists where both clientele and staff are supported and welcomed regardless of any societal bs dictating how humans should look, what they identify as, or who they share a life with. If youve got the time in the middle of a state-wide winter emergency to write something nasty and political on their social media and then GIVE THEM A NEGATIVE GOOGLE REVIEW when they respond, Id kindly advise you to rethink your life because youre actively making the world a worse place. Cute: Keep doing you, yall. Youve got this gals support.
We hate to see it, but this business definitely cares more about seeming superficially cool and trendy than actually providing a high-quality, friendly experience. Went in for a mani, paid what many around the world make in a year, and left underwhelmed. Hey, but at least the bathroom selfie was fire! Oh wait! Did I mention my Van Gogh prodigy nail tech? She was crass, hurried, and unfriendly. Hunny, why not try painting canvases if you hate people? Anyway, in all seriousness, this place costs a lot, most of the people are somewhere between rude and indifferent (the front desk girl was nice though), and you can get a much better manicure for a fraction of the price elsewhere.Update based on salon response: There you have it folks! If you want to go somewhere to be told you clearly dont get us when you have any negative feedback, then Cute Nail is the place for you. For $100 to $300 (depending on what you get) you can enjoy a defensive, mean-spirited, and contentious owner that I guess thinks having eccentric gay punk rock weirdos for staff somehow means the standards of customer service are irrelevant. Introversion? Thats rich! I love introverts. I am an introvert. Why fabricate a story that I am prejudice towards introversion? My suggestion for people considering this place: skip it. My suggestion to the owner: hire a PR professional for responding to the reviews. Stick with whatever youre good at - responding to unsatisfied customers isnt it.
THE CUTEST Salon! I wish we had one in Upper Michigan!!! Every time a new photo is posted I stare in awe! 💖✨
This place is the BEST! I received the most amazing wax IVE EVER HAD- I had ZERO redness, and Im always super red after a wax. THANKS Megan! Everything inside was excessively clean, which is so important. Also, everyone was super friendly and welcoming and I cant wait to go back!
I went to Cute after a manicure gone wrong and they totally saved me. Lorb was my nail tech and she did a phenomenal job (better than I was hoping) on my nail design and shape. The staff was very kind and they also sell great products to help you keep up your nails at home (I recommend the rose quartz cuticle oil). Overall, this place is great and I’m thankful to have found them.
I went to Cute Nail Studio for a couple of spooky tats. Yes, They do more than nails! The shop is so damn cute, I felt so welcomed, and the vibe is so fun. Delisa gave me the two coolest tats with UV ink! I cant recommend her and this studio enough!!Also I’d like to note that with our new normal, cute is really taking precautions to ensure them and their clients are safe. They enforce masks, social distancing, they text you when your appointment is up, take your temp when you come in, and have you wash your hands before getting started. I am high risk for Covid so I super appreciate these precautions.
This is the CUTEST nail salon!! I came from out of town and have always wanted to go here, and it did not disappoint! Amazing staff, amazing atmosphere, and so fun! My nails look so cute!! 10/10!
I’ve never been a regular at a nail place before but I knew from the second I stepped into this magical building that I was going to find any excuse to keep coming back. Every single one of the staff seem amazing and are insanely talented. Cute is more than a nail (every other wonderful service) studio, it is an experience and worth every dollar.
Beautiful space with talented and passionate nail artists! Loved hearing how amazing the owners are and treat their staff with respect and like familyEthical, clean and everything to the highest quality standards!Lisset did my nails and I loved her so much
The people that work here are literally angels!! I was late to my appointment because I screwed up the time and Megan was still able to fit me in for my wax and brow tint/lamination, they’re absolutely the best!!! The pedicures here are amazing as well! Favorite salon ever
Friendly staff, great atmosphere.
My mother and I just had our first visit and we are so pleased! We got the gel pedicure with simple art and our nail techs (Tia and Salma) did such an amazing job! Of course the whole place is an aesthetic dream but the employees are just as sweet as the candy colored walls! I highly recommend getting your nails done here and I will be returning sooner than later!! I cannot thank them enough for the experience!
Always magically cute with a staff that never disappoints
I’ve been following cute nails on Instagram for years and never came in because I have a regular nail tech that I go to, but finally decided to come in for a facial! I had a really great experience with Hannah for a mini maskne facial. My skin felt super soft and redness from acne seemed to settle a bit after. This is something I’ll start doing it every 3-4 weeks, as I wear a mask 12+ hours a day. I look forward to coming back for facials, plus I have my eye on a tooth gem in the near future 😉
I loved the girls here! The vibes, the music, the art, the colors! everywhere you look is beauty at its best! The inspiration is real here. The experience was everything. I only stopped here through my road trip and it’s probably the peak of the trip. Love love lovvve it
The staff at Cute Nail Studio are amazing to say the least. Theyre friendly, funny, and they care about their clients. I got my lashes tinted by Elyse and we decided last minute to do an underarm wax as well. It was completely painless and I cant wait to go back. Needless to say, the building is freaking adorable inside and out, including the bathroom! Definitely check this place out, and Id say its a must for any out of town relatives. I personally cant wait to bring my people here.
This is my favorite thing about Austin. I’ve had my nails done by a lot of the artists and they are all outstanding. They always make my nail dreams come true. Also they are fun to chat with. This place makes me happy and my nails make me happy every time I look at them.I also go there even if I want to do just one color because they do the best job at nail care In town. So even if you don’t want nail art for some odd reason, you should just go and get your nails done. You will be surrounded by rainbows and that’s fun.
