I leased an apartment there for 6 months. I have had a wonderful experience. In the office, Audra has been amazingly helpful getting me set up, and then was incredibly responsive when anything needed addressing. She was wonderful. And the maintenance staff are also amazing -- incredibly caring and responsive. The facilities are great, but the people on staff make it a tremendous experience.
Ive lived all over the country and have experienced both ends of property management companies. Ive lived at the Quest for the past year and a half and Tramor is definitely one of the best. The office staff (specifically Audra) does a fabulous job with customer service, response time and communication. The maintenance team has never taken more than a few hours to respond to a request. Furthermore, they are always on the grounds doing upkeep, which is much appreciated as the property is covered in beautiful trees. The property itself is older, but well taken care of and most units, I believe, are recently renovated. The tenants are quiet and respectful of each other. The first floor units are great if you have a dog and want a small yard to let them out! I did have one small issue with seeing a few creepy-crawlies, which is to be expected when you live on the greenbelt and under tree coverage, but the pest control team was out the very next day to help me figure out a solution. We havent had any problems since. If you are sensitive to sound, chose an upstairs unit and be respectful of the people who live below you. Overall, a great experience in a great location with a great staff!
This is not the worst place to live, but there are much better places for lower prices. My advice--skip Tramor and keep looking. My biggest critique was Tramors response during the power outages in February 2021. The maintenance crew took 10 days to restore my water. I didnt have a pipe burst and contacted them 5 times to turn the water back on for me. They promised to turn it back on twice but did not follow through. Only when I submitted an intent to vacate the apartment did they respond. It took the maintenance man 5 minutes to check for water leaks and turn it back on. Tramor did not hire any extra help to get water restored quickly and had no plan for restoring as many residents as quickly as possible. Take away--when you really need them, they will be very slow to respond.
Tramor at the Quest was a great location to live. Me and my brother fell on hard times and the management team was very responsive, professional and helpful with a quick move in, shout out to Audra! Unfortunately, COVID did not permit us to utilize the pool but overall it was a great experience. This was my first time living in an apartment since I was a toddler and I would recommend this location to a friend.
Ive lived at Tramor for two years and was overall content with living here. The units are older, so you can hear your neighbors, but the location and price is great for this area in Austin. During the quarantine, the neighbors upstairs moved out and daily construction began. Every day at 8:30, construction starts and does not end until 4:00 pm. Its maddening. During the demo phase, pictures were falling off the wall. Im a teacher and have not been able to do my job effectively from home. My quality of life is being affected, as I can not leave my apartment or go work somewhere else.Im leaving a low review, not because the construction is happening, but because the complex never communicated with me about it, knowing that the city is under quarantine and I would be stuck in my home. I had to call and email several times to try to get a timeline on when the construction would end, so I can plan for my job/meetings. It took them two days to answer me back. No apologies, not acknowledgement that this would be incredibly disruptive in an already difficult situation, and couldnt give me a proper timeline. Ive been living in a construction zone for weeks now and dont know when it is going to end. Tramor apartments are alright, but the staff will not treat you like a human, just a rent check.Edited to include: The crime here is high, as well. My car was stolen while living here and the responding police officer told me another resident had their car stolen a couple weeks before mine.
Tramor Properties was very helpful when my partner and Is apartment burned down (through no fault of Tramor or us - construction next door caused it). They made the transition from Tramor at Oak Run, which we loved, to nearby Tramor at the Quest seamless. We were in a new apartment 4 days after the fire. They took care of the paperwork and transferring everything while we dealt with our renters and car insurances. The office staff at The Quest, especially Audra, were also really helpful and quick about helping us get set up in the new apartment even though we didnt have anything. Tramor did a lot to help when we were in a bad place. Highly recommend!
We absolutely LOVE living here. The apartment is very spacious and has been updated with beautiful hardwood floors. Grayce and Sarah in the leasing office have been so helpful and always respond to my emails almost immediately. We will definitely be renewing our lease!
Absolutely loved living here! Great location and Sarah and Grayce are awesome. We never had any issues and the price is right considering how expensive other apartments in the area can be. Calm and easygoing neighbors! We only left because we were moving cross country, otherwise we would have gladly stayed. Thanks Sarah & Grayce for all that you do!
The price for rent has increased nearly 100% (doubled) in the past 7 years. If you don’t have an upgraded apartment, they’re going to continue to raise the rent until you leave. Once they do that, they’ll charge an additional 20% to the latest rental price.Maintenance is an issue, too. It used to be much more efficient a few years ago but that is no longer the case with the new crew. The last time I had requested service to fix the pipes to the kitchen sink, it took all day for them to come out. Therefore, I had water sitting in the sink for about 24 hours. One maintenance man was extremely unprofessional by mocking the safety guidelines given to me by Texas Gas Service. Also, I’m still waiting on an important and potentially dangerous maintenance issue to get fixed for the past three weeks. However, the location is great but Tramor has definitely lost a lot of integrity since it began to expand all across Austin. As a native Austinite, I will not renew my lease when my contract has expired.
Great complex, staff are really nice and helpful as well. Would definitely recommend!
I lived at the Quest for 2 years however rent was getting too pricy for what was offered at this complex, in my opinion. Overall I had a good experience living here.Pros> Friendly staff including Pest control guy> Maintenance is fast> Location! 5-10 mins from anything you need or want to do> Gated dog park on site> My unit was nicely renovated> Friendly / respectful neighbors> Quiet complex> Backyard for first floor unitsCons> Older apartments, so poorly insulated (hot in the summer / cold in the winter = high utility bills)> Pedestrian gate at entrance does not have a lock or code for entering - building 4 has had some people come back here looking around and trying to get into backyards> *****Child daycare behind building 4 (they are outdoors by 7:00am and can be VERY noisy)> No amenities (no gym, no business center, office is not on site, dog rinsing area)> Small washer / dryer in unit so had to wash bulky items like bedding, blankets at a Washateria> Big spaces between wooden boards of patio and entrance. Don’t wear heals - I learned the hard way...> Last 6 months I had a Pest problem - I believe roaches were from big trees> No irrigation system as website states
Great location and great staff. Sarah and Grayce have always added a personal touch. Maintenance was prompt and always very kind as well.Loved the upgraded countertops and the balconies that face a beautiful greenscape. Never had issues with crime. Plenty of parking space. Loved biking to work and Zilker, usually stopping by Wheatsville for something fresh on my way home.Had to move north, but I would have loved to have stayed and moved to a unit with a backyard. For the price, this is 5 stars. If you want a place for your dogs, this is a must see.
4 stars? They must be using a reputation management company. Theres no way this place deserves that.Rats in storage and walls; poor quality units.
Cody pools never paid me for the work I did here.
Its a place to live, its too expensive for what they offer. I wouldnt live there
Super helpful and answered all my questions! Thanks.
Quiet and a great location!
Perfect place!
