For that year I had been sharing an apartment with a friend of mine, who then notified me on rather short notice that he would not be able to continue with me for a second year.There was no way I could carry the full rent of that place all on my own.So, what to do? I scrambled to find a new apartment, but it was a highly impersonal experience, as most business experiences tend to be these days. And, more to the point, I wasnt getting very far in my apartment search, while the clock was ticking, ticking, ticking. And my lease was about to expire...Then, one glorious day, my luck took a turn! I found a truly fantastic rental agent named Lorre Burden. And in the blink of an eye my life changed. No longer was I dejected over lack of progress. She was more than accommodating - she coordinated with the building managers so we could expedite the process, and looked at several complexes that were all great.
