The condition of the car I was given is why Im rating this at three star. The service getting to the car was good the person that took me over to my car was nice and friendly and thats about where it stopped for me.The car stinks, just flat out stinks. just has an awful smell in it. The tires were flat and needed to be aired up which the guy that helped me went and did for me. The flooring where you put your feet keeps lifting up as Im driving and or moving my feet around which is rather bothersome. All in all this is got to be my worst experience with renting a car I have had from Enterprise. I would compare this experience to being that of what I would expect from a Fox rental car only without the price discount.π’
Car windshield was not clean causing less than good vision. Car was clean, rep on-site was very helpful. Enterprise at the Austin Bergstrom airport needs better signage at 1st floor counter and assistance with helping older renters get from baggage claim to car and vice versa.
They had a great system in place at Austin. While they were busy and I encountered a line of 4-5 customers in front of me, the line went much more quickly than other rental agencies Ive used. I also felt they provided a personal experience, walking you to your car and inspecting it with you. Well done!I do wish that the Austin location had a sign outside the rental car building notifying customers to go to the second level rather than having to walk inside then back out to discover this info.
The staff was very accommodating and took care of my issues to ensure my rental car would be available when I needed it. They called at the end of the rental to make sure I had no problems with my bill. They truly provide my with great customer service.
I booked Enterprise because usually they have good customer service. This time, I was a little disappointed. Our flight was arriving later around midnight and I noticed on Enterprises website that they closed at 11:30pm. So I called and let them know I would be later and they told me they would see if someone could stay a little late for me. Upon arrival, I called and there was no answer. I went to the kiosk and no one was there. So I hired a cab to get to my hotel. The next day, I went to Enterprise and realized that they had another kiosk a floor above, which no one mentioned to me over the phone when I called ahead. They told me that there was someone there and they missed the calls because they were helping other people. I asked if they could reimburse my taxi and they said no. Then after renting the car, driving around Texas in the summer, the A/C stopped working consistently. It would randomly stop cooling and it sometimes came back if you toggled the A/C on/off switch. I told Enterprise upon return of the car and they seemed like that was no big deal. 2 days rental for 256 dollars. I feel like I overpaid and did not receive the full service that was offered to me in the beginning.
A great experience overall, this was my first time getting a rental car so they went over the process with me and it really helped ease my nerves. They really cared about my experience with them and Iβll definitely be using them in the future!
I waited 20+ minutes at the rental desk for my vehicle. The car we received had the oil light come on multiple times during my rental. When checking the oil, it was dark and burnt looking - suggesting the car was not maintained properly. When I mentioned this to the lot attendant on returning, they told me it would be looked at but didnt apologize or offer any explanation.
Had a great experience picking up my rental. I am loyal enterprise customer. While in Austin I ended up in the hospital and was unable to return my rental on time. When I arrived to the return station I was met by Lexxie the assistant manager. She explained to me that she would have to get permission from Branch manager Chris or Zach. Stated that the charges would stayed pended until one of them reached out to me. A day later I received charges from enterprise without a conversation. I have been unable to get in touch with them and I havenβt even received a receipt for my final charges. This is very unprofessional and I know how they value their esqi score which means how they are graded on customer service. THEY FAILED. I would appreciate someone to contact me immediately or I will move forward to corporate. I am a loyal customer and I have means to take those steps the the area, regional and group level. This is not how you treat people.
Very quick to help get me on my way. I had done all of the work prior online which made getting me into my vehicle that much faster. Thank you, Enterprise.
Enterprise is WAY over priced. The employee lied to us to try and upsell gas. If he had been honest we still would have bought the gas. Many other options at the air port use another service is my advice
I rented a minivan last week in Austin, Texas. The rental process was seamless and fast. The vehicle has a lot of scuff marks on the sides and back to the vehicle. This was not a major issue. However, at a supposedly discounted rate of $175 a day, I feel the charges we not just outrageous, but paramount to out and out robbery. For that amount of money a customer should at least receive a decent appearing vehicle. The next time I need to rent a vehicle I am looking at Turo.
If youre thinking about renting a car from enterprise during the pandemic, you better think twice. I recently rented a car from the Austin airport location and was horrified when I realized how filthy the car was. There were coffee stains in the cup holders, food crumbs in the center console, sticky door panels, and noticeably dirty seats. When I called them to report that they had not cleaned the car in accordance to COVID safety protocols, they kept sending me to the escalation department and the only person I could speak to was David. This agent did not apologize and did not offer any solutions to the issue. I was told that I would receive a call back and after waiting for over a day, I decided to call them again. Every time I would call, I would get placed on hold and transferred back to the escalations department where David would again offer no solutions and no apologies. I finally was able to speak to roadside assistance and they were the most helpful with the situation. A few days later, the airports enterprise manager, Zach, called me to let me know that he had personally inspected the car before I had picked it up and that it was clean. I am disgusted by this locations standard of clean during the pandemic and warn others not to make the mistake I made in trusting that their vehicles were being cleaned in accordance to protocol. Overall, their complete clean pledge clearly is a lie and this business only cares about getting their money and dont take the hazards of COVID-19 seriously.
We rented a car from Enterprise @ the Austin Airport. It only took a few minutes for us to review the car and drive away. The staff was knowledgeable and very helpful. The car was new, clean, comfortable, roomy and had great gas mileage. (Kia). The man at the exit booth gave us a great lunch recommendation. Easy, friendly, fast, excellent service.
Enterprise Austin International airport was an amazing experience. Location was easy to find and service was just as remarkable. I was pressured into any promotions or limited selection; everything was my choice. Would definitely be using Enterprise again at this location. The return rental key fob information was kind of disappointing and unclear but the car was returned successful.Suggestion: leave the key fob inside the vehicle
I always get consistent quality customer service from Enterprise. The rep was awesome and friendly answering and explaining all the details .
The salesperson who brought us to the car was very friendly. He upgraded our car at no extra cost, which was a great surprise! Enterprise is a great company! This was our second rental from this company. We will be renting from them again.
The rental process went smoothly. I was just disappointed in the vehicle that was rented to me. It wasnβt up to the standard in cleanliness or quality. Iβve rented from Enterprise for years and have never had a vehicle in this condition. Soβ¦the process =5 stars, the product =2 stars.
Made reservations online to match my landing time. Check in at the airport only took a minute or so. The first vehicle, which was ready and waiting, had a tire warning light. The people at the counter had another front and center ready to go in just a few minutes. The entire process took less than 15 minutes. Vehicle was clean with low miles and made my trip across the southeast a luxurious one. Return was just as easy as the initial check in.
I love Enterprise Rent-A-Car!!!! Iβve been renting cars from them for years.Very professional and friendly environment. Never had a bad experience with them and for that I am a loyal customer. Thanks Enterprise, keep up the great work.
Overall everything was nice. The pickup takes more time but the return are easy and fast. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is that we didnt get the car we were looking for as it had strong smoke smell. They should try to air it out before putting it out the rental. For new or fairly new drivers who do not drive big sedans like Nissan altima or chevy imapala just a word of caution most streets in Austin are small and so it is difficult sticking to a lane. Just something to keep in mind before taking a rental.
I highly recommend Enterprise Rent-A-Car, they are always nice and have great prices. I have never has an issue of them not-picking anything when I return my rental cars - not that there is anything wrong with cars but I always have a worry that there will be a gotcha moment upon return. Not with Enterprise.
I had the pleasure of meeting Bert, who I asked 21 different questions to about driving in the snow as we were checking the car out. He told me that the best bet was to drive in the manual mode on the car that we were renting and to not go over 20 mph on the snow. Little did we know, that we were going to be caught in the worst snow snow in over 100 years in Austin. Due to his advice, we were able to get around the whole city no problem driving in manual mode. These are the type of employees that you must reward and keep. Keep up the great work Bert! You rock! Your advice was a real life saver!
We had Joseph who was so helpful and friendly. Best car rental experience Iβve ever had.
On April 16-19, 2021 I rented a car out of the Austin Airport location. I found the lady that helps us there very friendly and competent in her job. The process was fast and I liked the fact that the agent walked around the car with us to check for any previous damage. She also took the time to answer any questions we had, all with a great attitude. On the return, we happened to get the same agent, and she received back the car quickly, and we were on our way. Big thumbs up for the agent that helped us, and I have no reservation in recommending Enterprise highly. Thank you!
My flight arrived early. I arrived at Enterprise and the main check in was closed with hard to find signs that stated to go to another floor for check in. I checked in and there was confusion on check in time because again my flight was early. After speaking to the rep, I was assured I would not be charged an extra day because I would not need a full day and I would have my car checked in the after hours since I had an early flight. Again she stated she would put special notes in the file so I would not be charged an extra day. On top of that I had to put in an extra 400+ security deposit down. Needless to say, I brought the car back as stated by 5 am in the after hours check in. I received my invoice via email charging me an extra $126 for the extra day. I called customer service as soon as my flight landed and was told a manager would call me back and what do you know, I am still waiting on a call. Needless to say I am not happy with your customer service.
Excellent service with quick transactions and a quality car. I turned my car in and didnt realize that I had left my ID within. I needed to board a plane - you can imagine the stress of not having my ID. I went back to the airport Enterprise location and an associate searched the car and quickly found my ID.
At the time of pickup at AUS airport, I informed the agent that an additional driver should be included at no cost as the booking was made through Costco Travel. When I presented the additional drivers license, was told that there was no need as Costco will cover the additional driver. After I checked into the hotel at downtown, I contacted Enterprise customer service for confirmation and was told that the additional driver must be included in the agreement. Besides, the inclusion could only be done where the car was picked up. I then had to drive back to the airport car rental to have it corrected. The staff at the Enterprise customer service and the airport car rental who corrected the issue were very polite and helpful, thats why the 3 stars. Otherwise, it was a great inconvenience and valuable time was wasted, having to return to the airport.
Ive been renting cars from Enterprise for several years and appreciate their excellent service, clean cars and good selection. If you belong to Costco, check the great deals they have through Enterprise. Whether its San Diego, San Jose, Sacramento or Austin I strongly recommend Enterprise Rent A Car.
Fast, efficient, clean car. Out the airport in 3 minutes. Could not be more pleased with check out and departure. Return worked the same way. Will use Enterprise in Austin Airport again soon!
Had a reservation. Walked up, got a car, left, came back, and dropped it off. As it should be. Things dont always work that way, so its appreciated when they do. Employees were fast and friendly.
Picking up our rental was super easy and smooth. Dropping off was quick and easy also.Enterprise at the Austin Airport was a breeze! Will definitely rent from Enterprise again!
I paid exactly the same price I had on reservation. I got my car in 5 mins (with car seat). The personal was kind and professional. I got an excellent explanation on all my questions. I got a clean car. I was happy to get exactly what I expected. I am going to use Enterprise services in future and recommend to others. Thanks Enterprise office in Austin Airport!
Enterprise was a great rental car company. I typically get Fox or a cheaper company, but Ive learned with all the hidden fees its actually more expensive. Enterprise was straight forward with their prices, no hidden fees, a fair price and a great vehicle. Very easy to pick up and drop off the rental as well. I will use them again without question.
We rented a car for a trip and the van was good. Like all vacation spending itβs expensive. Recommend to get insurance they offer release you from some damage.
Reserved a rental for September 9th, the day my flight arrived. When I walked over to the car rentals, no one from Enterprise was there. There were signs pointing to the teller to the right all the way til the end of their booth, which also pointed to the right, to another car rental company. Iβll never do business again with Enterprise after this. I went with Avis.
I called before heading to this location to confirm that they would take a reservation thru insurance due to an accident and they said yes but refused to honor that reservation on site. They didnt even try the reservation number in the computer.
Went to pick up the car, looked like someone just came back mudding with it. Had huge chunks of mud everywhere, under the tires, on the bumpers you name it. Then there was black dots which looked like tar on almost every part of the car, the hood, the windshield and the sides and would not come off. The trunk had dirt all over it and scratches on the hook and side. When I mentioned all of this to the guy he just kept sounding surprised by it and saying Ill note it and did not once offer another car or anything...he just walked away after he noted it and that was it. I tried taking it to a car wash but nothing came off. The people were friendly but do nothing for you. Not a good experience for me. The car ran fine but a good scrubbing or look over the car when it comes back would help.
On 3-14-21 at 11 at night. Jayme & Tim did a great job. 10 customers showed up to get a rental at the same time, I thought I was going to be there for a while I was there less than 10 minutes. Tim was in the front and Jayme was in the the parking lot getting the cars ready. They did a great job for only being two of them at that time.
Everything went quickly and easily. I had zero problems.
Austin Enterprise car rental was super quick and efficient. Definitely would rent again from here
Very helpful, very friendly at Houston airport. My flight came in late and the staff stayed until midnight for me. I appreciate their customer service and will definitely use their company in the future.
Our car was not ready at the Austin airport, but our sales associate went and found us a car... great service. It turns out that the old reservation at another location never got cancelled... and we got a call a few hours later to see if we still wanted our car! Good service, good company, good associates. I would rent from Enterprise!
The staff were very friendly and helpful.Great customer service.
My original flight was delayed due to mechanical issues, and I was booked on a later flight into Austin, TX. This pushed me way pasted my reserved pickup time. With a simple call to Enterprise they confirmed they would have a vehicle waiting for me. Best yet, I was upgraded....
I rented a minivan for a family vacation at the Austin airport. From the time I got into the car to the time I reached the exit gate, I lost my license. They wouldnt let me out without it. They called the manager, Zach and bet that it had fallen behind the console because it wasnt the first time. I couldnt stay for them to retrieve it but he put me in touch with Guy in San Antonio, where we were staying. I called Guy and he told me to come in whenever it was convenient. I should up on a Wednesday morning at 10 and was greeted by Derek who was so nice and had my license back to me at 10:05. Their customer service was terrific! Thank you all.
This was by far my best rental experience ever!
The set up at the Austin Airport was extremely unorganized and not user friendly at all this past weekend. They staff was untrained and understaffed. The signage in the airport to where they are located now is terrible. The counter you were directed to was closed with no signs to direct you to another location, now on another level in the garages.I will seriously consider not leaving Enterprise after six years of loyal membership due to this experience.A professional company should know better!!
Our first time in Austin, thank you for making the car rental super smooth and easy! We loved the truck and overall the amazing customer service from your team. Since day one making the car reservation to the end of dropping it off was just amazing. No surprises, no complains, it was great! I will definitely consider Enterprise on my next trip. Ty! You guys rock!
Friendly, fast, and easy service. Went in for my reservation, had my car the next minute, and floored it the next minute. Iβm kidding. Please drive safe haha but very fast, and friendly service!
Picked up a car at Austin airport to return it at Dulles airport.Very smooth and quick process.
They abandoned their booth in Austin Texas. All of their customers now go to Avis causing the wait for a car to be an hour and a half
Usually good in the past. But very long wait, seem understaffed.
Had a one-way rental from Austin, TX to Corpus Christi for a week. The staff at Austin were very COVID conscience and were very professional and nice. My truck was very clean and the Enterprise staff member walked around the vehicle with me to look at any scratches or nicks prior to me renting. Upon leaving the airport there was a second check point to go through to verify you are you and this is your vehicle you are renting. Very thorough and impressive. Dropping off at Corpus Christi was easy as well, just a tip that the turn for the Rental car return comes up quick on your left and is not well marked. The Enterprise representative at Corpus Christi was very nice and polite and professional as well. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is that the bed liner in my F-150 Truck was loose and would fly up, as if to take off as i was driving on the highway. With the all the driving I did, that was very concerning. Other than that, a great experience and I will book on-line and use Enterprise again in the future. Much better rates than their top name competitors!
Was returning our car we rented in Fargo at the Austin terminal. Was super easy in and out. Check in was a breeze and attendants were friendly. Had us in and out in less then 5!
I used to work here for 11yrs great place to work
The car smelled really bad of cigarette smoke and I still have not received my receipt for the rental. They said they would give me 10% off due to the inconvenience instead of offering me another car. I have always used enterprise for car rentals and this is the first time I was unsatisfied with their service.
This was the easiest car rental service Ive ever experienced. Fast, easy, and straight forward. I was really happy with the car and the service.
The employees were verify helpful and understand as well as knowledgeable.
Great Experience. Rep really worked with us to find a suitable car to drive out of Austin during the winter storm. Spent extra time finding us a AWD SUV to increase our safety driving from Austin to KC..
I have always rented from Enterprise in the past, but my experience in Austin on Saturday, November 19, 2020 left a bad taste for me. I sold a car to Capital Chevrolet in Austin on Hwy 35 and delivered it on that day and needed a rental car to return to Corpus Christi. I got a ride from the dealership to the Enterprise location that was less than an eight mile away. I had to stand in the hot sun for more than 15 minutes as there were only two agents and one was having a long conversation with someone that had already rented a car. After being waited on and telling the agent what I needed, his response was I dont know if we have any one way inventory and I will check with my manager. If there was a manager there he should be fired for being lazy as 4 people were standing in the sun waiting to be waited on. Upon the agents return from supposedly talking to his lazy manager, I was told they had no cars available. However, there were plenty of cars on the lot. Then he gives me a card with other Enterprise locations and says You can call these other locations and see if they have a car they will rent you. Good business practice would have been for the wonderful manager to call the other locations and see if they could assist me.I called Capital Chevrolet and they came back and picked me up and they had already called another location and was told they had a car available. When we got to that location, we were told the person that told us that was gone to lunch and there were no cars available. In the meantime I had called another location and the phone rang for over 25 times, never to be answered.Capital Chevrolet drove me to the airport where I was able to get a car and it was from Enterprise and was satisfactory but does not offset the other two experiences.I vote yeah for Capital Chevrolet, Austin. Texas and Boo for Enterprise.
Car choice was there. No-hassle check in, helpful and friendly staff. Great experience!
I got upgraded unexpectedly and was beyond satisfied with the rental. The staff was so helpful and honest, finding my wallet and safekeeping it overnight. Despite going through a National Lampoon road trip, this was the best part....Absolutely will rent from this location!
The whole process went quickly and smoothly. I was able to pick up a car at the airport and returned it locally. The personnel was professional, the car was clean and the entire transaction was a pleasant experience. Thank you.
Great but had a hard time when trying to call in and extend reservation. Other than that a great experience.
Jordan and his team were awesome. Thanks for the help!
The staff at the Austin airport were great. I had a late arrival and they waited for me before closing. thank You to everyone.
They shuffled us around a little bit. We didnt get the car that we reserved. And it was very expensive
The process was more than I expected. The employees was very friendly and helpful
This was the 1st time using this service in another state and it did not disappoint everyone was very helpful from the beginning to the end as alway when in Texas. The vehicle was clean & sharp. Though Ive never had a bad experience with Enterprise I dont think I will ever give another car rental place an opportunity to gain my business, that how great Enterprise treats its customers π
When I received my rental car it was NOT clean. There were crumbs all over the front floor. The Gold member clean sticker was on the floor. Very disappointed.
We are a huge fan of Enterprise. Austin Bergstrom airport was a really nice airport :-)
Another great experience at ENTERPRISE! Great customer service!
Enterprise is a strong player in the rental car market. I would use them exclusively for all my rentals but often their prices are not in line with competitors. The difference at times is significant enough that going to a competitor is an easy decision. In this day of tough margins I can understand however rather than lose market share it may behoove them to use an algorithm to adjust pricing to be more competitive
Enterprise is still the best rental agency, for me, despite recent problems with a car. My rental car at Austin-Bergstrom airport showed oil change due and low on oil after I drove it off. The replacement auto from Abilene, TX had a motor clatter that sounded threatening. I made it back to Austin though, with crossed fingers. Alls well.
It was the smoothest rental of a car transaction that I have had. And I have rented from about every car rental agency. No pushing to add on services. Just pay and get on your way. The car was also clean and in good shape. For now on I am choosing Enterprise Rent-A-Car.
We had a great experience using a rental car while on vacation this summer. The staff at the Enterprise center at the airport were courteous and friendly. We enjoyed the cleanliness of the rental car for our travels. When an unfortunate event caused damage to the vehicle, we conveyed the police report and details to the Enterprise staff with relative ease. The staff member even asked us if we wanted to exchange the vehicle for the rest of the trip. The return to the airport was efficient and timely for our return flight. We encourage you to consider Enterprise for your rental car needs in the future.
Saved our vacation after Hertz was not flexible with our reservation.
Great ride :) Was able to get to and from the site and the transaction was very smooth and easy.
This branch was staffed with amazing folks who helped us out tremendously.
I would highly recommend this location. Had an amazing experience. Guy like Andrew makes this place five stars. Great customer service!
Car stalled in a severe rainstorm. Called for roadside assistance at 930pm received a call at 2am to inform me that no one was coming to get me. Left the car on the road and went back to my hotel only to get a call at 353am that a tow was on the way. Got a ride back to the car no truck ever showed up. Fortunately a few hours later the car restarted.
Enterprise is good to deal with and usually fair priced. I needed the rental for an extra day, and expected to rent it for one more day at the same rate. When I told them at check out there was not a mention of a different rate, they said, just let us know you want it another day. But instead they charged me quite a bit more for 1 day, $73 turned in to about $99 for an extra day. This was not fare.
This review would be 1 star if it werent for the corporate customer service not affiliated with the Austin airport location. I have rented with Enterprise for years and this was by far the worst experience I have ever had with them.My troubles began when I arrived to pickup the 15 passenger van I had rented. I was told that due to my being a local, picking up a vehicle from an airport location would accrue extra fees. I asked why they disincentivize locals from renting, to which I received a blank stare. I had planned to be charged the amount that I was quoted online and moved money around to accommodate the cost. Needless to say, being charge hundreds of dollars more than I was quoted online was frustrating.Next we went to walk around the 15 passenger van I had booked. We walked up to a van with 11 seats and a torn up floor. I asked where the 15 passenger van was and was told Oh, theyre the same. Or at least they are the same price to which I responded, no they are not. I was supposed to have 13 people in here. Blank stare again. I was told they would discount it later on.After getting a final headcount and figuring out others could drive separate, we agreed to take the 11 passenger van. After starting the van, I saw that the tire light was lit up on the dashboard. I asked about this and was told That van just came in, it is probably just that they didnt reset the sensor after some mechanical work.Fast forward 2 days later. I am in the middle of the wilderness with this van about an hour from civilization on a camping trip. The tire is completely flat. Luckily a nearby camper had a compressor that hooked up to the battery and we were able to re inflate the tire. Once we took the compressor off, we realized that the needle in the stem of the tire was completely missing and air was pouring out. After securing the cap on the stem the air stopped escaping rapidly (just a slow leak.)We were able to make it back to the Austin airport in one piece but the tire had to be continually filled at gas stations. When I told the people at the airport kiosk about this problem.... blank stare. When telling them all of my woes, the girl behind the counter tried to run my card to change my payment method and told me there system was down but assured me that the new card would be the one charged. I asked for an itemized receipt and was told they could not produce one.A few days later, the wrong card has the charges on it. The discount they promised for my troubles is nowhere near the size they led me to believe it would be. Not wanting to deal with the same people at the Austin Airport, I called the customer help line. The customer helpline was very apologetic and offered me two free days of rental vouchers. It is because of the woman on the helpline that I could not bring myself to give a one star review for the worst experience I have ever had. Ive never written a bad review about anywhere before. The incompetency and negligence through the whole process have led me to this.I sincerely hope that no one else has to deal with what I had to deal with here.
Great service. As always...... Bravo
Extremely good service...our flight was delayed and landed around midnight....we were concerned that we might find the rental car office closed since the official closing was at 1130pm...but it was open and the lady at the office was super professional in quickly getting us a car and in our way ....
Very good service. The staff explained the process and quickly ensured that I got the car rental. Very professional.
Enterprise at AUS is always great, fast and easy to work with! Great experiences there, always.
The mini van was perfect for our family of extremely long legs! It was clean with a full tank ready to go. I was super grateful that the employees had stayed later that night our flight was delayed by nearly 2 hours! Thank you for being there!
Love the easy breezy Enterprise experience. The employees are efficient and nice, which cannot be overstated when traveling with children. My only recommendation: More white/light colored cars available in Austin. Black car with black interior in 100ΒΊ summer temps was kinda rough.
Very quick, in and out service at pick up and return! Friendly staff! Enterprise as we know it, always great!
I used to use Enterprise and National a lot back in 2016 when I was traveling everyday. I preferred Enterprise and have since 2016. However, this recent experience with my return trip from Austin, TX where I lost my keys... That has truly hurt my interest in Enterprise.Firstly, I honestly dont know where I lost my keys exactly. This is not about to be a rant on how I lost my keys. What this review is about is the LACK OF true customer service in an area which could very well be most important depending on the circumstance - such as mine herein. As I was on my flight to my first layover, I realized my keys were missing half way through the flight. No stress at all right? [sarcasm] When we land, I instantly called my parents back home to drop my extra keys off and luckily were able to do so for me. Then, I instantly call Enterprise... What. A. Joke.Everything is automated via phone. I personally am greatly tired of automated directories that require the keypad more than 3 times. When people are trying to call about lost items... Im willing to bet they are generally concerned and/or stressed about a missing item. So, when some calls only to have to use the keypad 4-6 times to get to the file a claim over phone and find out even that is all automated... It is absolutely ridiculous and only adds to the stress levels. When I got to the third question and realized I verbally misspelled whatever I had to and the system didnt once tell me how to redo an entry... That about sent me over the edge. Naturally I hung up.Now, its not that I dont understand why the Lost and Found claim is in place. In fact, I appreciate it to make sure both myself and Enterprise are covered should they have my keys! However, its the fact its all automated with an absolutely absurd system that only pisses people off (at least me here) when theyre trying to just have a quick call with a local agent there at the facility. All I wanted most was to speak with an agent there in Austin and confirm IF they had found any keys at all that day. I didnt expect them to confirm color or anything like that. Just speak to someone there to confirm IF they had them at all. THEN, I expected to speak to an agent and file a Lost and Found claim together given the difficulty to fill out an electronic form online while rushing to your next gate. Let alone an automated questionaire that wouldnt understand it when I say, Im sorry can you give me one moment to [____].Point is that I personally do not care for companies, such as Enterprise, who are reducing even the customer service platform to a bunch of automated machines. Being an engineer who specializes in automating various things (software as well as production)... I get it. HOWEVER, NOT the customer service side. Lost and Found is most definitely a customer service platform which I personally believe should allow to speak to a rep to at least file the claim.P.S. Im sure most, if not all, major car rental agencies have the same or similar system. BUT, if one of them simply allows for a slightly easier way to actually speak to an agent to work on things together... Theyll be my preferred moving forward.
I rented a pickup truck. I was a little concerned about whether they would actually have one when I got there. I called ahead and confirmed. I was running late for check in and really stressed. When I got there the young lady was so pleasant and reassuring. I had my choice of trucks. Overall, I was so impressed with the whole experience.
No one picks up the call. Wasted over half an hour waiting for someone to respond.
Very easy in and out and well priced car. They even gave me a free upgrade. Easy company to work with and appreciate the great customer service I always receive from Enterprize!
We rented a Toyota economy car for our week in Texas. On the highway, the car had a βwhirringβ sound. Other than that, all went well.
No personal attention, the rental counters at the Airport are not attended. You cannot ask a representative any questions face to face. You walk into a garage with rental vehicles and encounter an employee with a hand held device and they tell you to choose a car out of a group. If you ask about any type of discounts or other vehicles, they do not have the authority to do anything. No customer care, very disappointed in the direction of so called customer service. Corporations are hiding behind the guise of the virus to provide poor customer attention. I have rented from Enterprise for many years exclusively, will definitely be checking into other providers.
We have a 2020 Land Rover. It smells like cigarettes. We had a five hour drive to get to our destination in Mammoth Lake, California from LA. Half of the drive the air conditioning did not work. The brakes grab constantly. I called Road Service the next morning. A very nice lady told me they would have a replacement car in Bishop, California ready to go. I drove the 48 minute drive to Bishop only to be greeted by a very rude Manager who told me he did not have the Yukon that was promised me. He said Road Service didnβt know what they were talking about and there was nothing he could do. Iβm very disappointed in this car and in the customer service in Bishop. We are still going to drive the Pacific Coast Highway and have about 10 days left on vacation and I do not like anything about this car. Iβll try to switch somewhere on Thursday when we leave Mammoth Lakes.Paul Newsome
I didnt visit enterprise rent a car .
I would summarize it as wierd. I showed my id at the desk who sent me to the 2nd floor. Went to 2nd floor. Showed my id again. They had my reservation. Was provided a car. Showed my id a third time. Left the airport and found that the SiriusXM that I booked with the car was not enabled on the car I was given. I was refunded the fee when I returned but no apologies for the mistake. Just odd all around.
