Great haircut, and the lady who cut my hair was very nice! My only complaint was that all of the televisions in the shop were tuned to The View or something like that. It was definitely some womans television show and not ESPN. I mentioned this fact to the lady who was cutting my hair, and she acted like she didnt hear me. I guess the ladies who work there dont really like sports. I can believe that.
Got me in within minutes of estimated time, stylist was pleasant and did a good job.
Shawanna has been cutting my hair for over 3 years now and is always professional, kind and a absolute pleasure to deal with. All of the staff there are always full of smiles and at the top of their game when I visit to get my haircut. They turn an annoying task into one of my months high points, time and time again. Thank you Sports Clips!
Got one of the best haircuts of my life from Alejandro today. Great attention to detail and very friendly.
The girls here are great!! We were on a mini vaca and my kiddos needed haircuts. They did a wonderful job!!
The employees are nice and prices are competitive with typical men’s haircut pricing.
I love this location and these people! Luis is my hair stylist and I have been going there for 5 years now.
Always get a great haircut. Use the app for check in to minimize the wait time.
Pleasant staff. I dont like watching sports, but the consistent quality of service is what keeps me coming back.
Great place 👍
Good haircut, easy online reservation system. A little expensive compared to GreatClips for a similar experience.
Great service and great atmosphere, MVP cut is really value for money, highly recommended for stress relief and nice haircut :)
Hair cut was bad. Nice staff.
I have been going there for over two years and their service is great! All stylists are good, no second thoughts. Also they offer free sideburns. It once helped me when I had an interview and just needed to trim my edges. For first-timers they also offer free hair wash. Recently I went there for haircut and they did exactly what I asked for, but after coming home I realized I should have shortened the top portion a bit more. I called them and the next day they did it at no extra cost. It took them some 15-20 minutes and I offered a tip but they refused. Thanks to Louis, Diana, and all other stylists - you guys are brilliant! Highly recommend! - Kal
This location has some of the best stylists and customer service around.
Great place always do a good job of my hair
Asked for a taper fade, ended up closer to a bowl cut. Worst haircut I can recall.First time customer and not going back. +1 star because they were nice.
Always come here. Great ladies, and men working there that cut well. A regular.
Always consistent! Usually no wait.
I have been in here before and had good, but over-priced haircuts. However, I have experienced lots of poor service. I came in the other day to an incredibly long wait time. As I was waiting for my haircut another person came in behind me and put in his name in the queue. Even though it was over an hour wait time we were the only two people waiting. Once a seat became available they went down the list calling names and the guy who came in after me said his name was one of the other people in line before me. They seated him without noticing I was there first or checking to see if it was actually his name in the queue. On top of that I watched the employees jabber on without customers in their seats for several minutes while I continued to wait. Eventually I just left and I won’t be back. Clearly I am not alone in this experience based on other reviews and the fact that nobody was in the store despite many people “in line.” Very unprofessional.
They were great! My brother and cousin seriously needed haircuts after quarantine. They took lots of precautions for COVID and the cuts looked great!
Wait times can be a bit long but thats to be expected with any busy or liked business. Employees have always been friendly and my haircuts have all been good to date.
Alexis cut my hair to perfection. the service was great and it was well worth the price.
Online check in is easy, hair cuts are consistantly good.
Absolutely horrible service! I scheduled an appointment through there app, arrived 15 minutes prior to the appointment, successfully checked-in and waited. I was next up in the queuing system, and then stylists started taking other walk-ins. My name then dropped from #1 to #14 in there queuing system. I brought it up to the two stylists at the front counter. One of them saysI dont know why it did that. Then proceeds to take another walk-in before me and the other stylist did the same thing. I left without getting a haircut. I would highly recommend going anywhere else. If there customer service is this bad, imagine the haircut youre going to get.
Great staff they make the atmosphere fun and enjoyable. This is a popular spot so dont be stuck up and rude if you have to wait a little bit
Im not even a huge sports guy but Ive been coming to sports clips for 15+ years. I saw one girl for 6 years before she moved to Ukraine. Now Ive been seeing my current girl for about 4 years. Find someone you like and become a regular.
My wife and I are Veterans and we stopped here for a free Veterans Day haircut. We received excellent services from the ladies especially considering it was all free! I encourage everyone to try Sport Clips out for your next haircut they are an exceptional value for what they charge!
I have been going here for years, a month ago I got a haircut here that was good, but wasnt exactly how I like it.Today Rachel was able to tell by how I styled it that it was not how I usually get it cut and fixed it to perfection. Its an even better cut than I normally asked for. She went above and beyond.
I have always gotten good service and a good haircut from this location.
Sport Clips provided a very nice experience! I was greeted promptly, then seated into the stylists chair within a few minutes. Given that this was my first visit, my options were explained thoroughly, and the stylist asked me how I normally cut my hair. I ended up with the MVP package which includes a shampoo and hot face towel. I found the overall experience very relaxing.
Great experience. I didn’t have to pay $60 for a good haircut and beard trim! Definitely will be back. :)
Great haircut experience. Helen cut my hair awesome. Definitely coming back!
I have been using Sport Clips for years now. The stylists are always professional, friendly and very accomplished in their trade. And I remain loyal to the stylist I use and call the store before I set out, to confirm she is working that day. Think I currently have the best of the best. Also enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and the sports theme.
Always a great experience!
Waited for 52 min for them just to skip right over us. We went from “on deck” to 21 min. Then when I kindly brought it to their attention, this rude lady said “I don’t have time for this”. I will never return to this location again. I’ve never been treated so rudely.
92 minute wait on the so I run a few errands and get there and have a short wait. The board said 11 minutes but changed to 33 minutes. If you cant figure out a good scheduling system then go back to first come first served. I will not return
The stylist cut my hair just the way I like it, and also have me a good beard trim !
Extremely unprofessional staff. Even though there were very few people waiting for a haircut, the wait time was ridiculous due to the staff gossiping with each other. Rather than take care of paying customers, they showed a complete disregard and horrendous attitude towards having to cut the customers hair. I recommend driving the 5 extra minutes to the other sports clips in the area. I will NEVER come back to this place. This location gives Sports Clips a bad name!
The service was fast. I found it odd that they didnt take call-aheads, but I was served quickly. Since it was my first visit, they gave me the MVP special for the price of a basic haircut. This included a hot towel, shampoo, head and shoulder massage, and a haircut. Definitely recommend this place.
Louis is my regular barber/stylist and I wouldnt go to anyone else. I like throwback looks with cuts/styles that resemble mens haircuts from the 30s-60s. No matter what Im trying to pull off... Louis gets me there. His cuts are always fantastic and his company is excellent!
Terrible Service not even talking about customer service/guest service/been friendly/smile/been welcoming. Im going back to the Bee cave location the reason i tried this one because i moved and didnt wanted to drive 40 minutes but at this point its definitely worth it. ps im not expecting red carpet when i go for my hair cut but simple smile and making you feel welcoming would have been nice.
Good Experience, Friendly stylist who took care of my cut. I always get the MVP because it offers a great value.I give the Chandler store extra points for being a sports themed location that has Car magazines, and is sponsors race teams. Usually you only get Football baseball and basketball.
Pamela and Shawna are the absolute best! If you have the choice, always pick them.
Great experience every time. Quick & consistent. Great friendly staff and quality haircut and wash. I would definitely recommend!
I take my son here for haircuts. He really likes it, the MVP, and I really like how he looks when done. Pay the extra couple dollars for the upgrade too, its totally worth it!
I went in, completely lost. I have never once been to a hair cutting place. I was helped by a blonde woman (I forgot her name) and she made things very clear. Asked me what I wanted done to my hair and did as requested. I got a discounted price on the MVP choice (haircut... duh, shampoo, hot towel, and a back massage) for being a first time customer. The price in total was 17 dollars compared to the original 22 dollars. My haircut came out great and overall am very satisfied. I feel bad about not remembering that womans name.
Good customer service. Friendly staff
Always friendly and relaxing. Staff skilled with cuts and customer service.
Always a great cut
Initially when I went, the wait times were inaccurate, however, after a kind response from the owner, I went back, and had a good experience. The wait time on the board is still a bit strange, because it will say something like 1 minute, then put you in an on deck status and I stayed there for 5-7 minutes, but I didnt wait more than 10 minutes this time around, so, all good. Pro tip, if you want to skip the line, you can book online (which didnt work for me via website on mobile, but it might have worked from the app/website via PC). I try to limit the apps on my phone so was unwilling to install that.I did the MVP experience thing the second time and Shawyna was very friendly a took great care. She also did a great job cutting my hair, was courteous and communicated clearly to find out what length I wanted even though I didnt know what numbers on the trimmer I wanted initially.MVP Experience notes:Is it worth it? $26 (hmmm, maybe, maybe not. If youve had a rough day want want a vibrating chair, okay mechanical neck massage, go for it. See notes below:)The chair vibrates as your get your hair shampooed, which is a little strange, but I guess nice/okay. They also do a neck massage thing with this vibration gun looking thing. Its pretty okay, no fault of the operator, but its nothing to write home about.Otherwise comments:The whole marketing of the place is very serious sports bar-esque. It is a neat take a on a hair place. However, theyre very grabby with your contact data. They really dont want you to be able to pay without giving them a phone number or e-mail which I personally find a bit obnoxious. Thats corporate though, and nothing to do with this specific store, so I did not detract stars for points lost due to corporate.
Have Louis cut your hair. Hes fantastic, keeps his trimmer blades nice and sharp, and really caters to cutting your hair based on your head shape. I will keep coming back to him, going out of my way, for his exemplary hair cutting techniques.
Its the best we try hard to take care of you
First time and I’m already going back for my next haircut. Rachel did a great job!
Great service. Nancy always does a fantastic job. My 2 year old son is also a regularcustomer.
They messed up my sons hair because the stylist was busy gossiping with her friend working the next chair over and I definately will not be coming back!!!!
If you want to get a cut over lunch, you better have an appointment. The wait always seems to be an hour.
Doing a good job with Covid
Sarah is great! If you go to this location be sure to request her for a great looking cut everytime.
You dont have to make an appointment, and the wait isnt bad if you know when to go. If you find the right stylist, this place will do just fine. The trouble with Sport Clips, Floyds 99, and other similar barbershops, is that you may find a barber you like but they usually leave after a few months.
I got a Triple Play. Miranda did an excellent job with the cut and the shampoo. Really appreciate the good job!
Fast service, great massage.
Basically a Supercuts type haircut in terms of quality- perhaps a bit better (I havent had a really bad haircut here yet). But they have sports on all the time, and they have a cool sounding (havent gotten it yet) shave and massage package called the MVP. Priced similar to a Supercuts too.
Always got a great cut Here !!! Luis is the guy to go too!!!
There was a bit of waiting time but it moved pretty quickly!! The service was great!!
You will look great when you leave.
Been getting my haircut at this location and others for a while. Overall, the hairdressers are friendly and are able to do a good job. It is just a supercuts with sports on though. With that said, here are some things I have noticed to keep in mind:-There seem to be two types of hairdressers that work here: those who want to work in a salon at some point and those who just need a job. The former eventually leave, so its hard to find someone who is good that will always be there. Dont get me wrong, some of the latter ones are pretty good. Its just hard to find someone you can keep going back to.-Related to the above, they seem to be a one trick pony. They want to cut your hair short on the side, short on top, and a high fade. Dont expect more than your average joe cut you can get at a barber shop much cheaper. Basically, dont take a long time to figure this out like me...go to a barber shop if thats what you want. They will probably have sports on too.-There is never anything but sports or sports commentary on. The entire thing is sports theme with sports and more sports. I know its called sports clips, but I kinda figured out that its annoying after a while. You might feel differently, but they would have WSOP on just because no other sport was on and it was ESPN.-Every once in a while, you get a bad stylist. Remember when I said their good stylists eventually go to a salon? Well in that situation youre stuck with a random. Sometimes that person gets your hair and blows you away. Sometimes that person totally butchers it. I have thick, copious hair. Its a blessing, but its hard to find a stylist that gets that you cant just do whatever you want to it with styling stuff. It does what it wants, so you have to work with it.-They must be high off of Paul Mitchells Tea Tree line because they use it for everything. It smells really good, but it does the opposite of moisturizing your hair because the sulfate strips your hair of oils. So next day its crackly and dry. That is, if you opt out of the Tea Tree leave-in conditioner in favor of styling gel/cream/spray/clay. They even have Tea Tree hand soap in the bathroom precariously perched on the sink even though there is a soap dispenser on the wall.I had been on the fence about sticking around this place, and my most recent visit was so bad that I am not going to stay. I went in near closing (didnt know when I went in...figured this out when I left). The stylist seemed annoyed by my arrival and had an attitude (which I fully understand why now). I told her to take an inch off the top (leaving about 1.5-2 inches) with a four on the side. She took out her clippers with a 4 guard and started very roughly shaving the sides and back. When she was done with that, she started taking hunks of dry hair and hacking away at it with scissors. She then just went into a high fade when I generally do a low fade. My hair at the end of it had these problems:1. I was left with an inch on top rather than the 1.5-2 inches.2. The fade is uneven and the shorter side is short enough to where I dont want to fix the longer side.3. There are these random hairs on the side of my head that are longer than the rest of the hairs.4. Overall, the haircut looks off.Sport Clips is caught in this awkward spot of being a barber shop/salon hybrid without really nailing what makes both of those great in their own respect. They nail the average-looking guy hairstyle as perfectly as a barbershop does, and they have plenty of hair products to try out without having to invest heavily like a salon. However, they dont have the price or the atmosphere of a barber shop, and they dont have expert opinions and ability to style your hair like a salon (YES! I want you to help me find a distinctive hair style!). For me, I would rather spend a bit more on a Salon. For guys outside of this camp, I would just recommend you go to a barber shop for the speedy haircut and the sports (and a lower cost too).
Great haircuts but long wait
Took my 7 year old son there and they treated him exceptionality well. Definitely will go back.
My stylist (Karlee) was fantastic! From greeting me with a smile, to listening to what I wanted done to a great haircut with fun conversation & at the counter thanking me for coming in. Im so happy with the whole experience!
Cynthia is a great hair stylist..I like her
Christina greeted me warmly and took care of all my needs. Sportsclips is the only place I would go to get a haircut.
Relatively cheap, usually not a long wait, a tv at every seat, and they ONLY cut mens hair, which I appreciate.
Friendly and clean. A good haircut at a reasonable price.
Great haircuts and mvp styling. Usually not a long wait.
I would give 0 stars if I could. They ruined my hair like Ive never seen.
My husband gets his hair cut here. Hes not terribly fussy, as long as its cut evenly and you dont talk his ear off. Not his favorite haircut place but he hasnt found a need to find a new place.
Thanks Mia for the great haircut and customer service.
Everyone smiles and makes you feel welcome here
Add kicking, Christina was very knowledgeable, helpful and One hell of a haircut. Ive been looking for a new place to get my cut, I shall return!!!
Great service and super employees!
Cheap haircut. They offer head massage washes and shoulder massages.
Quick in and out and very professional
Always keeping me sharp
Horrible... Decided to leave after an hour of waiting when I was the next one in line. Slowest service ever and didnt seem to care about anyone waiting. No urgency to their customers.
Nice and easy. I recommend.
Staff is always talkative (or not, if it suits your preference). Large screen tvs and rarely any wait.
Said there was nothing left to do for my autistic son and stopped the haircut before it was done
I needed an emergency haircut and they locked the doors early. Kind of screwed me over.
A young lady named Marissa was very professional and friendly. I will likely return as a result.
Always a solid place.
Always awesome
I only go here for Shawyna.
Convenient and timely haircuts
MVP service in and out!
Times posted on their website are incorrect.
Good, no-frills experience.
Great hairstyles
