I can be a little particular about my haircuts and he always gives me exactly the cut I want, clean, dependable and reasonably priced. Plus hes a good dude and Im always glad to come in and catch up. Flexible scheduling, always easy to reach. Could not ask for more in a barber - Ill be going to Nick until he hangs up his shears for good!

Finding a good barber is never an easy task. Moving to Austin I was tasked with replacing a long time barber from back home in Boston. I found Nick and Geiser Barbering searching through yelp, and looking for a great cut. I couldnt be happier about all the haircuts Ive received the past 10 months since I moved here, and cant imagine going to anyone else. Ive been following Nick for a few years and Im thrilled that hes now opened his own barbering shop. First crossed paths at The Good Life and he quickly became my favorite barber there. Followed him to Avenue and then to his last spot off 6th and now here. Ive been waiting since December to get in with him and finally did today. The place is great. Nice south Austin feel to it. Dog friendly. Super convenient for me being right off South 1st and probably most importantly plenty of parking. Nick is the perfect blend of old and new which I really like. And I have these three funky cow-licks that are stumbling blocks for most people but hes never had a problem both when first cut and as it grows in. Ive found that with my hair barbers do the best job and Nicks the best barber Ive found. Theres only been one other who was on the same level and he moved back to Chicago. Nick makes you feel at home and is very knowledgeable. He helped me when I was looking to switch to a more traditional razor for shaving at home. I cant say enough how thrilled I am to have Nick back up and running. Look forward to my next visit--maybe with my mutt in tow this time.

I was in town for a wedding and Nick was able to accommodate me with real short notice and didnt make it seem like it was an inconveniences​ for him. Would recommend Nick to anyone in Texas looking for a great hair cut. Attention to detail does not even begin to describe Nick. He makes sure to provide consistent excellent service every single time. I lived in Austin for about 2 years and was glad to find a barber like Nick.
