I think Katie just gave me the best haircut I’ve ever had. I’m not over-hyping this. I will have to give it a day or two to be certain, but it’s up there. The place was welcoming, clean and professional. They were also very responsible and safe in regards to wearing and requiring masks. Great experience. Best haircut. I just looked in a mirror to check again… it’s the best. My hair was down to my shoulders, and I’ve been nervous about going short again. This is my place from now on.

I went into Honest Barber with a head of hair that hadnt been cut in a long time and an idea of what I wanted for a new haircut and Terry absolutely nailed it! Scheduling online was really easy and I was in and out of the shop in a little over 30 minutes. I will definitely be a return customer.

Honest Barber is best in class. Terry absolutely crushed it. I went to Travis a couple months ago and had such an amazing experience I booked again. He unfortunately had to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances but Terry picked up his slack and squeezed me in ;) She was incredibly courteous, has an incredible attention to detail, and is a great person to hang with. 10/10 you should head here for your next cut.

So I’m a new implant from NYC! Went to couple of barbershops trying to match my excellent previous barber hair cuts, then I landed on Honest Barber! Terry was a very nice lady, with a very nice sense of humor. After a quick chat about what I wanted and what she recommended, I had a very nice haircut, the first I like in Austin.Definitely recommend it, and some surpluses are: easy parking, pretty nice neighborhood to cruise in or hike after the haircut!

I moved to Austin in February 2020 and I knew I needed to lockdown a new barber ASAP! After trying out a few different barbers with varying results, I finally booked an appointment with Ethan at Honest Barber and I haven’t been anywhere else ever since. Ethan cuts hair very well and I’m clean cut every time I walk away from his chair. I’ve been to many barbers across the US and I’ve had people tell me they don’t cut down to the skin, or that they won’t, or that they can and they don’t know how to at all (I’m talking about you Super Cuts).What to expect: The shop doesn’t pretend to be anything that it’s not. There’s no corny theme and from what I’ve seen, all of the barbers cut hair very well. If you plan on getting cut here BOOK AN APPOINTMENT because that’s the best way to get in a chair (they book up fast so make sure you plan ahead of special events etc). The shop is small and may seem cramped for some people but it’s super clean and well spaced out. Prices are pretty standard for Austin (I pay about $40 minus the tip). Just book now!

Best barber I’ve ever been to!!

Every man should go to a barber and this place is bringing back the golden age of barbershops. I was getting married in two days and my previous haircut was not looking good. I did a little searching online and I could immediately see the attention to detail and love for the craft that these guys have. It was also my first time with a beard trim and they exceeded my expectations on that and my perfect bald fade. Easy online scheduling. Feel manlier!

Its always busy, so make sure you make an appointment, especially over holidays and other special occasions. Victoria is my girl! Great barber. Been here multiple times with many different barbers never had a bad experience and they all are very talented. I was never know exactly what to tell them but they always do a great job of asking the right questions where I am always happy with the end result. They are also handling the pandemic and safety procedures really well.

This is the first time Ive been to a barbershop that didnt just have older men working who specialized in buzz cuts. I had an appointment with Travis and never really know what I want, or at least how to express it right. This time I found a picture, showed him, and he made it happen. I rarely feel great after a haircut but I was definitely peacocking today after getting my haircut yesterday. Its modern, stylish, and cool and I love it. Matt has assembled a talented crew and relaxed old school barbershop vibe. I had a great haircut and conversation with Matt. I didn’t give him much to go on but we discussed my style and needs and came out with a stylish low maintenance cut. I lived in NYC and LA and this is my favorite barbershop, true craftsmanship. Recommending this place to colleagues at my firm and coming back in a couple weeks for a straight razor shave.

Not only did he know the actual name of the haircut, he even knew the history behind it. He did exactly what I wanted! He also took into account my cowlicks which no one ever does and tailored my fringe around them. Hes an artist! I also enjoyed the complimentary beer 😁

I set an appointment with Chris. I told him what I normally have done but I also gave him freedom to be creative (he is the professional). I have nothing but praise for the haircut I received. Pretty terrible experience. Its so cramped and blazing hot (at least get a blackout curtain or something) that I was sweating like mad the whole time. Furthermore, my barber seemed pretty uncertain and hesitant while not really communicating much. My fade ended up uneven and I was left with a nick on one of my earlobes when they didnt even use a straight razor (the hell?)... honestly, not sure how this place got so many good reviews but its definitely no Shed.
