If you’re of African American decent, I highly recommend visiting this barbershop to get your haircuts.I moved to Austin years ago and struggled finding barbers that genuinely knew how to cut the African American hair type.To all my ethnic people whom are struggling to find a much needed barber in a city with little culture, you’re welcome!

I rarely ever get haircuts because I feel that when I explain to the barber my vision of what it is I want, they never fully execute to my wants. But today I was in need of a haircut for my birthday celebration & was driving by and randomly selected this shop. It has to be one of the best haircuts I have literally received in a very long time. I was not to sure what I was aiming for but Sam Boardman took the time to show me a photo reference list to make sure I got what I needed. I was beyond impressed with the cut and service. He was very cool and professional. I recommend you make a stop at this shop!

Super friendly.. Manny gave me a much better cut and took more care than others around the same price. I’ll be back.

I havent been there in a few years I just called 11/6/20 6pm and I asked who works there and the person that answered the phone was rude tolled me to come in as a walk in then he hung up on me well thats why I was asking which Barbers work there so I could make a appointment. They wont ever get my business again. 😡

The owner of the shop is one of the barbers there, he is great. He does my hair and my sons. Always hits it on point. And does great tapers and fades.

You rarely find a place where EVERYBODY IS TIGHT!! And it’s close to my house!

Mari is a great barber here!!! And the first woman barber Ive seen. She actually is one of the best barbers Ive had and Ive been to over 10 states and had tons of barbers. I wont have anyone else do my hairas long as I live in austin

I went in yesterday as a walk in, to get a hair cut and a shave. The barber waited at least 30sec on his phone sitting in his chair before acknowledging me. Then during the cut had no conversation throughout, part of why I want to go to a barber is for the experience. He stopped to text on his phone at least 3 times during my cut. His phone rang loudly at least 5 times. He didnt wet down my hair before the scissors and hair was falling all over my face and in my mouth. I also had a close razor shave. Probably the worst one I ever had. His razor was dull, my neck is still sore, he was actually on the phone, ear to shoulder, while the razor was on my neck. It was a D haircut with a F shave for $40. I wont go there again but you might need an appointment and you will get better service.

If you ever get nicked while getting a fade or a shave or whatever.....you might want to go see a doctor pretty soon thereafter. I sat there for about an hour and 20 minutes. I saw what the hands were doingggg. I noticed they were all very picky about how they selected the next guy they put in their chairs. Some they knew, some they didnt. After a friend and I arrived we asked if they had openings for two. They did. They eventually got to my friend (his cut was pretty basic. Short sides, long on top). Mine was slightly longer and pretty complicated looking (they didnt know I was there for a simple buzz. They didnt ask). Eventually, when they couldnt ignore me anymore I asked if the one guy that said hed give me a cut was ready (when his last client left) and he suddenly had an appointment (that wasnt there yet) that he forgot about. Right. FYI, freestyle, if I get good service, I tip out 100%. Everytime. I saw most of yall didnt even get tips. And for as much as time yall spend on fades @ $20 a pop....pretty sure you need your tips.

Literally created a google account just leave this review. DO not be fooled by the catchy business name like I was. This place is a joke! Was changed $25 for the guy to mess up my hair. After he admitted he messed up. Never again going back! And will tell everyone along the way about my experience.

The dude In the cut is the worst in there he cut my hair in 5mins he rushed the whole time hurt me ear while cutting my hair multiple times and he knew it. It was like he wanted to let me know that he was pissed that I came in right before they closed he did a horrible job but karmas is a b**** no wonder his own shop went down for business and trust me he aint gonna make a come up anytime soon. Avoid him at all cost if your a new client TRUST ME! Very disrespectful
