Really enjoyed the experience all around at Finley’s Barber Shop North Hills at Braker. I really liked the atmosphere and the employees were really nice and friendly. Raz, my barber, was super cool and did a great job!

In order to book your appointment you need to enter your card number. If you miss the appointment - be ready to pay. If you want a hair cut pay one price, but if you want to use electric razor it is 10$ more, if you want a golden razor pay more, etc…you got my point. Money over service. No walk ins available either. Good luck with your money sucking techniques. And of course don’t forget to tip! Because we can’t support our stylists enough.

Paid for The Clean Shave and a Haircut. Haircut was great - barber / hairstylist was very attentive, a great conversationalist, and I left with a great haircut. However, the clean shave was not as great. It was incomplete and I left with a rash.Edit: After leaving this review, Finley’s contacted me and offered me a refund for the shave services.

Wow, where do I begin. Jennifer has to be one of the best barbers Ive come across. She immediately greeted me in a warm, old school manner that is rare nowadays. Im a man of many cowlicks and lost faith in the fact that Id ever be able to style my hair. But hold that thought, here comes Jennifer to change my perception of reality. She listened to my frustrations and explained what she was thinking, creating rapport and allowing me to visualize what magic she was about to cast upon my weathered follicles. The precision Jennifer wields with those scissors is something I thought only Sasaki Kojiro possessed. She did a tremendous job. Ive been to Avenues, The Gents Place, Birds and countless others which were all great but this cut was on a new level. Please pass along my gratitude as she has created a lifelong client for your shop. I have 2 kids who will also now be coming to see her. Shes marketing to the next generation without even knowing it. This was my first experience at Finleys. The pricing might intimidate those more familiar with other chains. There are several Finleys peppered around Austin, and the staff at Braker were perfectionists. Listening very closely to what I wanted, and working with me and suggesting slight tweaks. The beard treatment and trim was perfect, and the staff knowledgeable. Whether youre willing to spend on the upkeep, or looking to treat, Finleys is quality.

Best full service for affordable price. Haircut alone downtown was $80. This was haircut, shampoo, neck shave and hot towel for $45 incl tip. Cant beat that.

I am completely disappointed in their business practices. I usually go to Floyds or Birds for my son but decided to try Finleys because it is less than 5 minutes from where I live. I have had better customer service for my son at Supercuts. A well run business gives you a courtesy call to check why you might be running late and give reminders. Not here. Today we are running late but I didnt even get a courtesy call. The staff says I can get a later time slot but I will have to still have to pay DOUBLE! Basically said, not their problem. They tell me to call this number and that number and every person I talk to says they cannot help me. Terrible customer service!!

Love this place. This place has always been a safe and clean place to get a hair cut. I was lucky enough to get an appointment because of a cancelation. But try to get in when you can.

I followed Jim here from his previous location and Im glad I did. The staff is kind and their services are great. Being able to signup weeks in advance is greatly appreciated.Im very glad to have a place I can go for a well trained barber and not have to wait in line for an unknown amount of time. So much more sophisticated then those places that shear you for $15. Im able to have a relationship with Jim where he already knows how I want my hair and so he asks about the kids instead.

Great spot for a stylish haircut. Moved to Austin in Sept from Scottsdale AZ & happened across the downtown location where I went to regularly until we bought a house in Great Hills...glad to have found a Finleys up here thats equal in quality to the one downtown.Cheers,Neil Devgon

Raven Villarreal does not know how to do a simple shave. She needs more training. Theres a difference between a barber and a stylist. My dad (on his birthday) had to come home and finish his own shave because she did such a terrible job. Literally my 10 yo could have done a better job. $75 wasted on the Clean Shave & Mask. Also, I had called beforehand to book his appointment, the receptionist told me that a hair cut was included and I asked her to double check cause on the website it said different and I would pay extra if it wasnt. She assured me it was in included although she seemed skeptical and confused about every question I asked. Terrible experience for my dad that was just trying to relax on his birthday. On top of that, the manager didnt bother calling me back.The only person who knows what they are doing is Julio. The only reason he was not booked was because he was on vacation. He actually gives great cuts and knows what hes doing. If hes not there, I wont be booking with anyone else. He deserves a 5 star rating.

Theyve got the barbershop atmosphere covered, but what good is that without the barbershop experience.A true barber is a art, this place dont have it.If youre looking for a barber, I do not recommend this place.Its very frustrating all these places labeling as a Barbershop when that is incorrect. These are stylist, NOT BARBERS.

Im big on first impressions and this one kinda missed the mark for me. I walked in to get a haircut and the atmosphere was great. Good music, all the stylist were hard at work but I couldn’t get over the girl up front with her headphones in. Asked her if they allowed walk-ins. She tore the headphones out as if I was bothering her and said “yes” and then just kind of awkwardly looked at me as if she didn’t know what to do next.I called back the next day hoping to encounter someone different and it was the same girl answering the phone. She has absolutely no constomer service skills and does not know how to talk to people. I hope she’s not their only receptionist.

Very friendly and accomodating staff and barber. Store was very clean. Afraid there are better values and shops out there now for a simple mens cut with tip that is $40. Haircut was ok.

This place is the most awful kind of faux-cool barber shop - which I could be fine with if it wasnt for the fact that we had to sit and listen to one of the hairdressers loudly talk about his views on race, religion, climate change, and that he thinks liberal media lies.Then he went on to give my son the most half done haircut hes ever gotten. We brought in pictures, my son described and he still didnt seem to know what he was doing.
