Light came on so I took it to Charles Maund Toyota Service Center. Do not bother using the texting option to communicate, they don’t respond. Dropped off and picked up, nothing was explained to me, but I suppose that’s fine because you get a receipt. The next day there’s a puddle of oil on my driveway because they failed to tighten the oil pan nut. Called the service manager but was then directed back to the advisor that doesn’t respond so I left another message. Had to tighten the nut and top off the oil myself. Still waiting for a response. This place is a fail, you can see it with all the other reviews.
I was given four different costs and it took over a day for regular maintenance and a basic estimate. Zero communication on when it would be ready for pick up I dropped it off at 7:30 am and had to call 6 times before I was even connected to the person who was coordinating service to get an ETA.
I was told I needed a bunch of different fluids to be flushed. I actually just recently got all the fluids flushed that were required by a 3rd party. The EXACT recommended flushed were just performed. The 3rd party also reports to Carfax. The rep said they didnt have record of it. It felt like I was lied to by dealership. All they had to do was check Carfax to see what they recommended was already done. Also, Im not a mechanic but Im sure you can tell what looks bad and what doesnt.
The place is decent and I go there regularly for maintenance. I also used them twice for new tires. In general decent experience with some wait, nothing outrageously bad. The waiting room can be very uncomfortable during busy hours and looks a little ghetto (no coffee/comfort, running out of chairs to sit on). Perhaps it has something to do with COVID. In general, nothing wrong with the place, I still go here for maintenance, but I never use their waiting room and instead get my husband to pick me up.
I leased my car here and then bought it out after the lease, so Ive been coming here regularly for my free oil changes/maintenance included in my buy out plan. But every single time its another scam. The rep who checks me in is always friendly and helpful but then part way through my service someone else comes to me in the waiting room or calls and tells me Im going to need a ton of costly maintenance. So I say no, then bring it up to my rep and every time they play dumb or say thats weird or dont worry about that. One of my first visits after buying my car a rep told me that I should be prepared to pay $3000 to fix an oil leak that is known to happen with my car model. I did bring that story up on a later visit and learned that previous rep had since been fired.One visit I was told I needed to pay $120 for a tire rotation. I declined, didnt say anything else to anyone and went to Discount Tire because I knew they would do it for free. The next visit to Charles Maund, on pickup I was told they rotated my tires for free because it was included in my maintenance package. Somehow the last guy didnt know that? And they were going to charge me $60 because they replaced my windshield wipers without asking. That was also that same visit they said my tires all looked great, while going over their maintenance checklist. I went on a road trip the next week and one of those tires blew out and another nearly split the week after that.Would never recommend this place to anyone. Usually takes 3 hours for an oil change too
Service advisor Jerry Hernandez had a terrible attitude at the start and terrible communication with me. They kept my car for 24 hours for a simple transmission service. I tried to call Jerry 6-7 times with no answer. Made me wait way too long to simply get my car back after services were done, only to find that my personal belongings were moved around and messed with, things that didn’t need to be touched. Very disrespectful of them to do that. And my gas was on E when I got it back, but was not on E when given to them. Now I need to pay for gas when I thought I had a couple more days to wait for that. Terrible communication, and no regards for personal items. The only smile I got was from a lady who was nice to my dog. Will not be returning here.

It was a real pleasure to have my Prius serviced there. They did everything in a timely manner, and I found the personnel easy to deal with and trustworthy. It is a tad expensive, as it is expected from the dealership, but it is worth it. Prior to the last service, I made the mistake of going to Firestone, which was cheaper but ended up costing me more, since they didnt do a proper job.

Not very happy with service department hard to reach and when i left a voice-mail I got no reply. Not sure if they where busy but I would think after a day they would call back. Other then that the company itself is great.

Be very wary of them!They tried to use high-pressure sales tactics to upsell me on $1,600+ of maintenance I didnt need on my car. Asked some basic questions about what they wanted to bill me for and discovered that some of the maintenance they were recommending had actually been done recently and wasnt needed! Declined everything b/c couldnt trust them to truthfully tell me what I needed/didnt need.Take your car elsewhere!!

A metal gear fell off a construction truck and struck the bottom of my car, causing a great deal of damage. However, I was able to quickly sort everything out with Jerry at Charles Maund Toyota. This was my first time having to fix my car and he let me know what was wrong, walked me through the steps, was so patient whenever I asked questions, and overall provided such great service! Very informative parts specialist! Never ever buy parts without asking for a discount or asking if theres any special rebates. I called all three Toyota dealerships in the Austin metro about the same exact part and I was shocked at the price differences. This dealership had the best prices by far!

I take mine and my wifes car for their maintenance service and always I appreciated that Blake Ward understand the problem, find the correct solution with the cheapest cost and give my car back in a short time. The other mechanic said it was the worst brake job he had ever seen ---A few weeks ago I took my car to this repair shop because my brakes were squealing. I had purchased this car FROM THIS DEALER less than a year before, so I had hoped they would be willing to help me as someone who already made a purchase from them.It took them more than 2 days to get my brakes fixed, and they still squeaked. The entire time the workers were hostile, difficult, and irritable.Not wanting to deal with them anymore, I took my car to a different shop with a reputable work ethic, and the mechanic said he didnt believe I just had my brakes done. He said it was slapped together and unsafe. He suggested I try to go get my money back.I cant believe this is how they treat someone who BOUGHT A CAR FROM THEM. Im never going to return, and I will discourage everyone I know from buying their vehicles or going to them for service.

Charles Maund Comes Through AgainI had a puncture in the front tire of my RAV4 that was not repairable. I chatted with the Charles Maund team and they gave me an appointment for the same day (Tuesday before Thanksgiving), 45 minutes after the chat. They put two new tires on the front wheels at a great price, including labor and I was out in an hour and a half.I have dealt with several Toyota dealerships in Texas and North Carolina and have never found one as awesome as Charles Maund. My car died on the highway and was towed to Charles Maund about 12:00PM. I have waited for the service for more than one and half hours, no one worked on my car. I came to ask the service advisor Jerry Hernandez when is my turn. He was very rude and asked me to be patient and told me my car will be treated late today. I may need to wait until 7:00PM. I haven’t see any service to be waited for 7 hours. Very bad experience and will never come back again.
This is the only place I go for service on my car, 2009 Toyota Corolla. And make sure to ask for Blake! Hes always friendly, knowledgeable, and all-around great to work with. I highly recommend Blake for Toyota care and service.

I went twice this toyota location for service and both the time I got disappointed first time i changed my car battery and right after a month my car battery was dead again and i towed my car there and they changed with another battery with this comment the first battery was company faulted battery. Second time i was there last week and they charged me for changing the car key remote battery and honestly it looks like they even didnt touch the key at all and car key remote still is not working cant trust them for next time.

Overall a good dealership. Salesmen typically pushy. Honestly they need to know when to quit. I advised that I was looking into prices and options for a Tundra. I got the information but not without the schmooze and tricks of the trade...kills me everytime where they set up a salesman and manager to do an act like they are giving you a special deal...its all bs.

Great customer and auto service. I take mine and daughters car for their maintenance service. I do enjoy the coffee and 🍩 while waiting for the service with comfortable and clean waiting areas. Satisfied with the service but to be honest its always expensive.
According to maintenance personnel, my car needed engine cleaning and additives to improve the number of miles per gallon. They charged me $ 245 for that and the car is even worse. In fact they asked me if I wanted to do a survey about their services and they dont allow you to give it a low rating

Worst experience from the parts department! I went in to get a spare tire lock key to let my spare down. After having the right size fitted for my Tundra they told me 5-7 days for the part to come in. 2 weeks later still no call. When I called them finally they didnt have my name or number in the system.Was my part even ordered?! After being puton hold thean said the part was ordered and he would call the dealer and see what was up with the shipment. Still no reply back to me! All and all do your own research and order you parts online yourself.
Its a dealership service department, so expectations werent high. However, I was pleasantly surprised. I went in to get a software update for a recall, they said it would take 2 hours and it took about that time. They gave me every detail as it was happening and didnt Pressure me into getting the suggested repairs. They have two quality waiting rooms with coffee, Shipleys donuts and decent wifi. Vast improvement over Auto Nation Toyota.
They actually listened, and did what I asked. The work was detailed on the bill in a way I could read and understand it. The price was below Toyota Bastrop, so much I was willing to drive. And there are TWO Customer Lounges, one with a small childs toy room, both lounges stocked with coffee and donuts (but that dwindled as the morning went on). Very accommodating staff. My fifth star is saved for a mechanic doing outstanding work, and this trip was routine maintanence.
Unreasonable wait times for service center! Ive been coming here for all of my regularly scheduled maintenance since I bought my SUV new from here. Ive never been here for an appointment that took less than 1.5 hours and frequently its 2+ hours even though I always have a pre-scheduled appointment. There is absolutely no reason it should take this long for a service check! Ive also never been here a single time that their carwash was actually functioning...and, Ive opted to wait for a handwash before and its literally an hour plus for just a simple exterior rinse (no vacuuming). Also they forget to turn off the maintenance due soon light almost every time. This place is infuriating!
Walter would not fix my car, my transmission was not accelerating & they going to say it has something to do with my tires, how do my tires having anything to do with my transmission?! They just didn’t wanna fix my transmission because it was under warranty! I would not recommend at all!!!!!!!!!! Worse customer service of my life !!!

This was a mistake for an Express Lube oil change. After 1 hour there was no paper work which means not in a bay yet, but told to ask the manager in charge of my vehicle, and he said it is in a bay, so there is some misleading going on. I should have gone across the street for the oil change. Even after I made an appt here the day before to get it done, still took 2 hours, and that is extremely poor for a self acclaimed Express Lube. Would not have been bad if manager at the time checking vehicle explained with the wait would be that long, I could have said no thanks and tried another time.I was here for 2 hours and watched for 15 minutes truck being driven around looking for a parking spot to leave it for pickup. Then went to desk figured I could say since it was done. They said they had no paperwork in the system yet. So waited another 15 min, and manager came by and said they just pulled it up and would start doing the paperwork. Just overall completely unacceptable.

I do not recommend anyone to come to this place, today they tell you one thing and tomorrow another. They leave you the car for a manufacturing problem, they give you a dirty rental for the Enterprise with a bad smell, they tell you what day the car should be ready, you call and youre not here, you call two more days, then a msg that pick up so if you do not take care of the rental car, when you go to pick it up and the Enterprise will charge you redondo round business When one has to sweat so that others steal you. Around here, Mr. Ángel answered me, saying that if I had not handed over the rental car, then they thought that I had stolen it soy I am the thief. Elsewhere they give you payment solutions for the situation of COVID 19 and Toyota and Enterprise STOLE you
