I am happy to acknowledge the great dedication and genuine professional at the Standard Domain Northside who helped my situation, Ms. Jennifer Spano, ending my five month apartment search in a zip. This apartment has really larger than life amenities and plug and play bill pay including your utility bills and you can even build lending credit for your rent. All-in Standards builds all in loyalty
My experience at the Standard in the domain was HORRIBLE to say the least. It started off with the leasing agent assigning us to the wrong unit. The unit was also missing a washer and dryer (which they said was included).During the winter storm a pipe burst and flooded my entire apartment. When calling the emergency maintenance line, it took them over 2 hours to return my call and they didn’t even show up until the next day, forcing me to vacate and leave behind all my belongings.Weeks after the storm and them telling me my apartment was safe to live in this entire time (even though I had no electricity and excessive water damage), they come to tell me my apartment is “unlivable”. They presented me with 2 options: 1) vacate the unit until damages are fix, could be weeks or months (they couldn’t give me a timeline) or 2) sign a new lease at market price (which was $700 more/month then what I signed). Eventually they agreed to allow me to break my lease due to the severity of the damages without any penalties to then charge me back $750+ in credits I received at signing for not finishing out the terms of my lease. In the photos attached, it shows the moldy “safe” conditions I have been living in for the past month, all for what I still had to pay rent for.....Management at the Standard is a joke. On top of all that, the parking garage gate is always broken and packages are always getting stolen. What I thought would be a great experience to live in the Domain turned out to be a nightmare because of this place. Do NOT live here.
I hardly ever do reviews but I felt this place deserves all the praise! It’s been a challenging 2020 and now 2021 with the winter storm. Christina the manager and her maintenance team have really gone above and beyond to make sure residents were safe and made the transition to do repairs in my apartment quick and painless. I LOVE IT HERE!
Poor customer service. Jennifer Spano was condescending and rude. On move-in day after signing my lease, asked her where the letter boxes were located, she curtly replied “It’s where you just walked past”. If I saw where the letter boxes were, why would I bother asking? Gave me the wrong passcode to my apartment which resulted in me having to call the office multiple times, called me up for documents I’ve already sent the week before. Also, apartment was extremely filthy when I moved in.
I just want to give a HUGE thanks to the maintenance team! I accidentally threw a bag down the trash chute that had $300 worth of computer recording equipment. I immediately reported it to the front office and Roly and Ivan from the maintenance team were able to immediately retrieve the bag before the trash compressor got rid of it! They saved me the hassle of replacing the equipment and with their help they saved the day! Highly recommend The Standard and their team is always on point. Thanks again Ivan & Roly.
For the past week this building has had zero security. One of the main entrance doors can be opened by anyone. The reply to this was that the whole security system will be redone soon. Thats great but doesnt mean that we just leave all doors open until that happens. What amplifies this issue is that all parking gates have also been openly accessible for months so anyone can just drive up and enter the building at night. We have enough unaddressed theft as it is
I am currently writing this review as the fire alarm has been blaring on for the last 20 minutes. It would be fine if this was happened just once, but it has literally happened at least 6-7 times in the past 7 months. Sometimes, in the middle of the night, waking you up. It is unsafe for a fire alarm to go off especially when there is nothing unsafe. People will be conditioned to not respond and what if something is actually happening?Management does not seem to care and has not written much communication regarding this issue. This compounded with the fact that the hot water has just unexpectedly shut off for an indeterminate amount of time (has happened 2x in the past week) really makes living here annoying.Edited to 1 star after the fire alarm falsely went off AGAIN at 6am in the morning just a week after writing this review. Live here if you like random fire alarms going off!And guess what happened again just a week later? Fire alarm goes off at 3 am...Edited again a month later. 2 more instances of fire alarms going off. At least 2 more times of the hot water being off. Sometimes without any sort of notice. Imagine expecting being able to take a hot shower at the end of the day and there’s no hot water, multiple times. That’s what you pay for here. The gym unexpectedly closed for the worlds slowest repairs. It took 4 weeks to get it fixed with the only updates saying that “it would take longer than expected”.At this point it is by far my worst apartment experience. 0 transparency. there are issues that just continue to disrupt residents that do not seem to ever resolve. I would really give it 0 stars if I could.
Best location if you want to live in The Domain. Can’t get any better than this in terms of proximity to shops, price, and views.
I’ve lived in dozens of apartment buildings in my life, and this is hands down the worst. In less than two months of living here, we’ve lost water access or hot water no less than 4 times. As of this writing I haven’t been able to shower in 2 days.Additionally, the building has done absolutely nothing to enforce mask wearing in the common spaces and elevators. This has led to multiple confrontations from other residents when asked not to ride the elevator solo due to them not wearing masks. Management is completely apathetic on this matter. But perhaps worse is the fact that the fire alarm has now gone off 6 times at all hours of the night. Including right now at 3:17AM where for the second time in two weeks the entire building has been subjected to a blistering alarm for going on the last 15 minutes. I could forgive this happening once, but 6 times in less than 2 months!!!! This building is uninhabitable by my standards, and I cannot recommend living here for any reason. The only positive thing I can say is that the building shares a grid with nearby hospital, meaning we didn’t lose power during the historic winter storm of 2021.
I just moved into the apartments 2 weeks ago. I have never lived in an apartment and was down sizing from a 2 bedroom home to 1 bed apartment. I was really nervous about the move and adapting to a different life style. The Standard has made it a great experience! I was walking by and saw the sign and called the leasing office, Omar answered. They were doing appointments only, but he had a few minutes before his next appointment and was able to squeeze me in. He was super knowledgeable, easy to reach, and made sure my leasing experience was the best! He did a really great job and is very accessible if I ever need anything. The apartment it self is very spacious, which I was concerned about going from a house to an apartment. The bedroom is a great size and fits my bed, which is larger than the average bed. The community is super clean and well cared for. I have reached out to Christina, the community manager about amenities, and she has been super helpful. I think the staff at the apartments really care about their jobs and residents and really make it a great place to live! I highly recommend this apartment community! Great Job!
Renters Beware! Our experience, living in, and dealing with management of this property (standard at the domain north side / Northwood Ravin) has been completely unacceptable. This management company uses the unethical practice of enforcing an unreasonable contract notice policy (60 days notice on a 90 day short-term lease) with specific intent to milk the renter out of additional months of rent.Looking at a multitude of recent reviews, (too late for us) we’ve realized that this has happened frequently and should probably be looked at by the housing authority. The property is Filthy. All community Common areas are in disrepair and safety and security is non-existent.We have found this company, it’s representatives and management team to be unfair, unreasonable, unresponsive, unscrupulous and just plain greedy. You have been warned. DON’T RENT HERE. You will not be happy with Standard at the Domain Northside.
I absolutely love this community!!! It’s the perfect spot and you get all the perks of living at the Domain. Jessica is always quick to help us with any questions or concerns we have. Her customer service is 10/10. She’s so dedicated and that’s something that you don’t really get nowadays. The property manager, Christina, is so attentive to any of our needs. Thank you for all you do!!!!
Roly has always been very help when you comes up to make repairs, he always fast and always if if there is anything else he could do for me. Hes an asset to the staff
If you enjoy basic security like working parking garage gates and locked doors, hot running water that doesn’t get turned off for days at a time, and uninterrupted sleep without the frequent fire alarm going off for several minutes straight at 3am, then DON’T live here. Please live anywhere else.
Hi All, Marla and Angelica Gomez (Sweaper/Cleaner) has continuously doing her job without any issues, I impressed the way they both are doing their job, just wanted to mention this publicly. Thanks Marla and Angelica!
Just moved in! Jessica was very accommodating and helpful throughout the process. Enjoying it so far :)
Beautiful property, and great location!! Cant say enough about the staff and how helpful they are. Diana always has a smile when I have to visit the front office. I am recommending this property and location to all of my friends looking to move to Domain area of Austin.
This was by far my favorite apartment to live at in the Austin area. I would definitely still be living at The Standard if I didnt have to relocate out of Austin area. Not only is the residential aspect top notch, Domain Northside is as well! I would recommend anyone to live here. Management is great as well! I had a great experience with Christina and Diana. Dont pass up this great living experience!
DO NOT LIVE HERE.My experience has been terrible from the start with management. It took me emailing the property management company to receive empathy and cooperation when COVID forced everything to shut down and I had already signed my lease a few months prior. All I was asking for was to push my lease out, not cancel it.My 60 day deadline is tomorrow. I’ve emailed management once, and then the general office in a week’s time- plenty of time to have this noted, right? I’ve called and no one answered. Then, I was told that I’d get a call back. Nothing. I guess I’ll have to email property management once more... ending our relationship the way it started. The gym is nice, and so is the cleaning service lady. The area is fun, although traffic can be bad at times. Besides that.... please, Do. Not. Live. Here.
Amazed on the customer experience I was given. Omar was the the consultant who helped me out. I am beyond grateful for having someone who is always there to help guests.
I have had a large share of bad experiences with apartments, so I researched a lot in order to find an apartment that would not screw me over. When I first signed with Standard at Domain, they were very friendly especially because me and my roommate were looking for a very short term lease (3 months in fact). It is not an exaggeration that we emphasized that we NEED to move out after 3 months and we even pulled up our move out date because we could only move out during a certain period. We expressed to multiple staff at the office (Regina, Diana, Jake) that we are leaving after our lease period. But in our last month of our lease, they informed us that we won’t be able to move out at our set date because we didn’t give a 60 day notice to move out.... for a 3 month lease. We already expressed so many times to them (we visited the office multiple times) that we were moving out in 3 months and not once did they say that we need to give them a WRITTEN intent to move out. For this extra month we have to stay, we have to pay an extra 400 dollars on top of our rent price that we pay for our apartment. I’m so done with having to deal with apartments that just scam off their residents, so this review is for those in the future who are trying to get a short term lease. Send in an intent to move out right when you move in and not waste another 3000 dollars because they’re forcing you to stay 1/2 months. Oh also our AC broke our first week in and my sink clogged my second week of moving in which led to the maintenance people getting everything in my cabinets wet and when I emailed Christina (the manager) about this she said she couldn’t do anything about it. The fire alarm made us evacuate our place twice in 2 months.
Going on my 2nd year in the Domain and already almost 6 months here at The Standard at Domain and it has been a lovely experience even with the crazy year due to the pandemic. It is in a great location and amenities are awesome but what makes it even greater is the staff, starting with Diana whos always very responsive to address all my concerns, and of course the maintenance staff with Eduardo who is always very courteous and effective about getting things done.So far so great I hope it continues.Regards and Thank you
If youre looking for the ultimate Domain experience, then look at a different apartment complex in the area. This place will definitely make you regret living here...1. Management is horrible. Example: Recently they sent a notice that an alarm test was going to be done for our building. The note just said that it will occur on a specific date, within a designated timeframe, kennel dogs when people enter your apartment, and sorry for the inconvenience. The day comes and the alarm test begins. To level-set, the alarm is quite deafening, especially in the bedroom. It is so loud, that Im sure that listening to it for a long period of time would negatively impact your hearing. As a person that works from home and have my desk set up in the bedroom, I had to leave and sit in the living and wait for it finish. Cut to 20 minutes later of continuous alarm blaring when someone finally knocks on my door. They walk in, check that its working, then leave. At this point, the dogs are kenneled and scared and my head is starting to hurt because of how long the alarm was going off. I took my dogs out and continued to wait for it to be over. 10 minutes later, ANOTHER person knocks on the door and checked the exact same thing the other person did. It has been 30 minutes since this whole ordeal started and my head is now full on throbbing and work has been trying to contact me but I couldnt answer their calls or emails. After more than minutes, the alarm finally stopped. I emailed the office to let them know that the way they handled this test and the lack of information provided to us as to how long it was going to last and how many people were going to enter my apartment was unacceptable. Dianas response? Essentially it was, we couldnt know how long it was going to take and sorry for the inconvenience. Basically, too bad, so sad.2. The apartment itself isnt great. Examples (see photos below): Within the last year, I have had about 3 issues that I had to put in for maintenance to address. 2 of the issues were that my A/C stopped working completely. In fact, as I type this, Im in my 80+ degree living room, receiving an email that the request I put in to address this issue is on-hold because a part needs to be ordered. They provided a portable A/C for the bedroom but since theres two of us that live here and both work from home, the person who has to work in the living room (me) is pretty much SOL. But alas, theres nothing they can do and sorry for the inconvenience. The other apartment issue was that there was a leak coming from the CEILING of my shower, which I found weird. After maintenance came in to fix it, I saw what it looked like (see picture) and was definitely concerned. Now Im not a plumber/electrician and if in all reality this is actually okay, then let this be a post about the fact that my shower ceiling leaked. But seeing rusted pipes with wires around it made me feel uneasy. But the maintenance guy said it was all good and that I have nothing to worry about. Okay.3. Thievery. If you do decide to live here, it is suggested to set up FETCH, so that someone actually hands your packages to you. If not, and packages are left at your door, the probability of it getting stolen is VERY high. Also, if youre a bike rider and you lock your bike in the common area on your floor, those get stolen as well. But then again, security is horrible, so what do you expect?I definitely did not renew my lease here and have a few weeks left before I move and to say that I cant wait is definitely an understatement.P.S. If you do decide to move here, I suggest you join the Facebook Group with all the residents of this complex. Youll get to read all about your fellow neighbors experiences of getting locked in the garage because the gates wont open, finding used needles near cars, how management isnt doing anything about anything, and the daily anecdote of packages getting stolen or someone breaking into storage units and stealing things. Its great fun!
I am a resident of The Standard for the past 4 years and have lived here through both the construction of the Domain and the management change here. As a married couple we very much enjoy the location of the standard and the amenities. Dont want to cook? Go out in the Domain and have a nice bite to eat. No plans over the weekend? Go to the bars on Rock Rose! COVID got you Cooped up? People watch from your balcony, or get your steps in with a safe walk around the Domain (surrounded by hired security team). The Amenities were understandibly closed during COVID-19 Lockdown, but The Standard Pool AND Gym were the first to open in all the Domain and nearby. So yes we were seeing a lot of visitors trying to take advantage of this. But they did an excellent job at reopening. Christina Hall has been doing a great job with this complex and has worked closely with me on a number of issues and Ive always appreciated her open communication and timely action. Diana and Omar are also outstanding and pleasant any time I need assistance, or need to print or scan something which happens often during these times.I think the biggest change with the management has been the hiring of maintenance and repairs-- Marla (cleaning ) and Eduardo (repairs). These are by far the two best hires in my 4 yrs here. Marla has an incredible respect and pride for her work, and is so thorough in her cleaning and really works to make sure things are not only clean but smells good and looks good! I also must say he English is fantastic and if you come across her definitely say Hi, shell brighten your day! She has respect for the tenants here and the luxury scale of this complex that leads her meticulous and caring manner of cleaning!Eduardo too recently assisted me with a AC repair, and even after the job checked in with me when wed run into each other in the halls just to make sure things were repaired satisfactorily. I then had another instance where we needed a sink repair. Which required the entire contents underneath the sink to be removed for the repair. My husband and I were working from home and unable to supervise the repair, but honestly no need! What I came back too was a perfect sink replacement with no surrounding debris. AND Eduardo even replaced all of the contents back under the sink exactly, and even a little better than I myself had placed. Similar products next to each other, folded dish towels. I mean the eye to detail to observe this and the care to do it was astounding!Especially Lately I would say The Standard and Team has been putting their residents first and provide a luxury living experience. I am more than pleased to be living here especially during quarantine. Thank you Standard and Team!Pic is a view from the Standard facing East.
I moved from NYC to Austin and I was looking for a place in a semi-busy place, close to entertainment and walking distance to whole foods. Before I rented my apartment in Standard I spent months of searching and checking different places. I am so happy I chosen the Standard. I had no issues with anything in the apartment. The staff is super nice and understandable. The location is GREAT! I moved out of the apartment only because I just bought a house. They gave me back my deposit and they were very nice when I was leaving. I love the gyms, also they offer free classes to residents (boxing, yoga etc.). Neighbors are very nice, I have never had any issues (I was living in the building connected to the red parking). BTW, there is no problem with parking, so you can invite people to visit you - amazing. I have been living in many apartment complexes in the past and this was the best experience I had so far. If I ever have to rent again, I would definitely go back to the Standard.
I was very displeased with the management at this facility. The current management company was the worst company by far that I have had the misfortune of dealing with. For this reason alone, it should disqualify anyone wanting to live here. Here is a list of misfortunes:There was an alarm that went off at 3 AM. The garage door did not properly function for an entire year. It took them close to 4 months to replace a broken appliance of mine. The locking mechanism to enter the complex was broken for months, which lead to people’s packages being stolen. One of the gyms was out of commission for about two months. The water system was constantly broken, to the point where residents had zero access to tap water for hours or possibly days. The water pressure was weak. The broiler also was frequently broken, so warm water wasn’t available. Lastly, for all of their mistakes, ZERO compensation was given.By far the most frustrating experience I have had with management at an apartment complex. I would never do business with them again. This was the original review. This was ONLY for the benefit of those who helped me: To be clear this is a review of only the servicemen that helped install my new stove and fix my refrigerator. I am talking about Nor and Roly. They were both very cordial and helpful. They gave advice about defrosting the refrigerator and were quick to install the stovetop.
Welcome to the Below Standard Domain.Nothing luxurious about this place.Update: no water in this building for yet another time. First theres no hot water then no water at all from the afternoon until now and most likely tomorrow morning. The security system is also down so the entrance doors are openly accessible.Someone threw eggs at the walls in the hallway (???) but who knows if it was a resident or a random person seeing as anyone can enter. Not sure what we as residents are paying here for, the pool party during corona with free pizza I guess.----Original review: its 3 AM and the fire alarm is going off yet again what marks it the 8th time now. There is never an actual emergency, its a safety hazard for the fire alarm to go off this easily without any reason and its definitely not fun to be repeatedly awoken by a blaring siren in the middle of the night. This has never been addressed and it would be nice to get some management response regarding this given it has been going on for a year and should be immediately addressed. But the safety and comfort of its residents is clearly not of interest to the management. As for the building, its badly maintained, has repeated issues with hot water (both the fire alarms and hot water issues date back to 2020 so it has nothing to do with the snow storm they are trying to blame it on), theft and bad hygiene of the hallways with dog feces and urine as well as littering by residents and poor security. If you have an enemy, send them hereEdit, it seems the management only starts to pretend to care when the Google reviews reach under 3.9 stars. Im sure you can tell which reviews are sincere and which arent.
The Standard is a truly one of a kind community. With a prime location and first class amenities, it doesnt get much better! The staff is very receptive to the needs of its tenants and the property is very well managed. Diana, Christina, and Omar are as good as it gets. Highly recommend to anybody searching for luxury apartments in the domain area! A++++
If you are looking for a stunning apartment with great amenities and easy access to multiple stores, restaurants, and bars; The Standard At Domain is the place to go. They have a fantastic property, a great location, and attentive staff. Omar helped me from the first day I toured the site until now. He is very respectful, kind and always answers all my questions. I am pleased to live here and recommend it to everyone.
Best location, beautiful apartments, property manager Christina and staff will always do their best to help resolving all your issues.
Great apartment community, very clean and beautiful facility! Office staff is super friendly especially Christina shes always available to help! I will be renewing my lease, I love my beautiful home!
Christina and her team are amazing. If you are looking for an area with plenty of entertainment near by this is the place to live.
The standard at domain has been nothing but good to me since i moved in 4 months ago. Jessica and the rest of the staff are very helpful when it comes to me having concerns or questions about the community. I love my new home !
Edit 3/25/21: Taken off the 2nd star after 2 days with no hot water, and yet another false fire alarm at 3am. This is getting worse not better. Dont move here.Original Review:This review will stay up until the fire alarm issues noted by other residents below have been sorted out. The frequency of this issue is unacceptable, and as of today Im unaware of any coordinated plan to even attempt resolution. The apartment units themselves are fine, and the team have been accommodating in assisting us to move apartments due to excessive hvac noise in the top floor apartments in building z.My overall experience has not been one star, but there are some critical issues with this building (fire alarm, missing packages, hvac noise, dog mess in the halls - all noted in the reviews below which matches my experience) which should be resolved much faster, and with more attention, given the price and way the building is billed as luxury.I would have no problem resolving this review if these issues were fixed, but as of today residents are not seeing these issues addressed, and the great location is not enough to compensate for the downsides.
My husband and i are relocating to Austin within the next 2 weeks and Jessica has been super helpful with the moving process and being very detailed in everything that the community has to offer! The property manager Christina has also been super helpful with the approval process and making sure we fall in love with our soon to be new home !
I have been living here for a little over two months, everything has been great, easy access to multiple restaurants and shopping stores, Christina is amazing, she made the whole process super easy. Moving is stressful enough and she was more than considerate in answering my questions.
Nice place but the management changed and they didnt take care of things as well. A dog kept pooping on the second floor of my building and they did nothing to stop it. They also lost numerous packages because they couldnt handle the mail. If the old management had stayed I would not have moved out.
Ive love living at the standard. During covid I thought i would be out of my mind but the management has been very accommodating. The best part about living here is the emphasis on healthy living. The online fitness classes that they through the property have helped tremendously through the pandemic. I also just started going to the yoga classes in the gym here. Not only that but they have personal trainers that watch over the gyms to make sure everythings put back and working. I had one of them i think his name was mike or mark show me new workouts and stretches. Fitness is a big part of my life and for an apartment to value it this much means a lot. Im not leaving anytime soon!!! Thank You!!!
Omar was great. I viewed the apartment off a whim, while walking by and signed a lease the same day. I’ve only been here for 48 hours but so far so good. If I don’t get a house next year, I wouldn’t mind renewing. It’s a social place. You always meet people from other apartments who want to hang out (Not sure if that’s good or bad in the middle of a pandemic. - but I understand that most of us are here without family and are alone. So there’s that)
I am leaving a five star review because I have renewed my lease every year, time and time again, which should say a lot as there are hundreds of other apartments in the Austin, Texas area. Literally every time I interact with, chat with, or need a service request, ALL management and ALL leasing staff are so compassionate, and filled with JOY! I highly recommend this property from the bottom of my heart. Love to all, and stay in HOPE!
Great apartment community, beautiful facility! Christina’s staff is super friendly especially Jessica shes kind, knowledgeable & always available to help I will be renewing my lease, excellent service lady’s!
Love this place! Christina and her team are great and always available when we need something!
Very beautiful place to live . Very reccomended ! Thank you Jessica Aguilar and Christina for making it feel like home❤️
Horrible support if something is wrong. Noise is actually being on construction site. Manager ignores issues hoping they will go away. Have no help in resolving issues, told these were condo like specs not even close. Worst place I have ever lived. These are not luxurious apartment, even though you pay for that prestige.
I love my apartment, I will be renewing soon. Christina and her team have been amazing to work with and don’t know what we would do if they were gone!
Wow! This apartment is just great, I’m a little picky when it comes to where I live but this apartment had evrything I was looking for! Jessica was very helpful and I’d recommend anyone to go to her and the team with any questions.
We have lived at The Standard for 2 years. We enjoy the Domain way of life :-)The staff at The Standard is always so kind to us. They do everything they can to make our lives a little more comfortable. They even signed us up for a package delivery system called Fetch. The standard is even taking on the extra expense for this customized package delivery option to ensure all residents packages are handled in the most efficient way possible. This aboveboard customer service is appreciated and one of several reasons they are the only place to live in at the Domain.
We have been living here for almost a year, standard at domain has been by far my favorite apartment complex!! Great amenities, close to many restaurants and bars, lots of things to do in the domain. We got so lucky finding our apartment and the staff made this process easier for us. Great job! Keep it up.
Regina was AMAZING! My fiancée got a job in Austin and needed to start ASAP, and we had one day to figure out where to move and Regina helped us the entire time and made sure our move was seamless. I’ve only lived here for a few days, but so far the move in process and my experience has been flawless.
It’s been great. Regina was extremely helpful and responsive. I was living overseas and just moved back to the states and she took care of everything from start to finish in less than a day I had signed my lease. Great customer service!!!
Awesome place! I love living here. I have lived here about 6 months and I couldn’t complain. I also noticed they sold to a new company and since then it has only improved. I met a few of the leasing girls this past weekend and they were super nice, especially Colleen. If you’re looking for a great place to live, look here!
Just moved in, I love the location: I love the amenities. I love the view. All the residents are sweet. Parking is easy. The dog park is cute and convenient. So far so good!
Beautiful apartment; top of the line management, excellent location.Accidentally dropped my keys when trying to scan into the building with my FOB. Car Keys as well as my fob to get into my apartment landed on the second story ledge between a cement brick (unfortunate). Can not say enough good things about the service manager Ivan who responded to the situation and unfortunate event SO well.Ivan took an extremely stressful and unfortunate situation from my end with such a positive attitude and was able to think outside the box when dealing with an extremely unfortunate/unlucky situation. His positive attitude made me feel reassured my keys would be retrieved and he helped deescalate the situation. He even went out of his way to go back and forth between different buildings in order to find other tools necessary to retrieve the keys.Keys were retrieved and can not thank Ivan enough for all of his effort with such an unusual situation. Absolutely amazing job Ivan, you are a star and it is GREATLY appreciated.
My apartment is amazing. I recently moved in to a one bedroom with a study and I couldn’t be happier. Christina made the move in process easy and showed me around when I got there since I moved from Houston. Their maintenance staff is great too! I had some outlets that weren’t working when I first moved in and Noah was very helpful and nice. If you’re looking for a new place, def check them out!
What a great place to live! Lots of things to do around the area plus the complex is beautiful. The view from my apartment is amazing! I love the staff and all the events they host. Christina and her team have such great ideas.
Great places to live in Domain.Makes the list of best apartments in Austin for me
Great amenities and helping management staff (specially Jake)
I lived here with my wife for a year after moving to Austin and we loved living here. The apartments are definitely luxury level and its awesome that parking is in a gated off section of the parking garage. The staff are always very kind and helpful as well. The facilities, like the gym and the pool, are top notch and used regularly as a result.I only have a few real complaints. The first is probably obvious, the amount you pay here for the size of the apartment is pretty expensive. We are paying the same amount and have an apartment almost 2 times the size, still extremely close to The Domain and just as nice. However if youre wanting to live in The Domain, the prices are similar to other apartments in the area. The second is the front doors are not sound insulated enough at all. We could always hear people walking by the door and when we were loud it would be very audible in the hall as well. Not a huge issue I dont think but during drinking nights it could get really annoying hearing people in the hall so clearly. The last is not controllable by the apartment complex or a fault of theirs, but entering and exiting the parking garage is very annoying because apparently no one knows to slow down when in the garage. It was VERY common for a car to fly around a blind corner and almost hit me, kinda ridiculous and happened so often. Otherwise, extremely satisfied with living here!
I must say, this apartment complex has been amazing to live in! Omar is extremely helpful, professional, and always with an outstanding attitude! I recommend the Standard at the Domain Northside to anyone looking for a place to live.
I just moved in about a month ago and I must say, this is the best apartment complex Ive ever lived in. The place is clean and within walking distance to my job! Christina is absolutely amazing and helped me throughout the entire move in process. I definitely recommend The Standard at Domain and appreciate Christinas professionalism!
The red garage where residents park is absolute insanity. I have had Verixon and AT&T and never had any service, which is frustrating while using GPS services or listening to music...but the other drivers drive like crazy in such a tight space. If I got into a wreck (which nearly happened 10 times), I would not be able to contact the police or insurance company. Not okay. The apartments themselves are brand new and in good condition. No bugs. Living in the domain is noisy especially on the weekends. Overpriced for me so I moved out after a year.
This is a great location to live at! The staff was super helpful getting me moved in and during the tours they answered all my questions. Especially Kristina, she showed me my apartment and got me settled in. I love that its in the center of all the shopping and restaurants. That always comes in handy when people come over and you can show them around
“ I love it here! The location is perfect and close to everything you need. Maintenance keeps everything so clean and my work orders are done same day. Christina has been helpful each time I call or email. I would recommend The Standard to anyone! “
Ive been living here for 10 months now and I absolutely love it. Had a small encounter and the issue was sent over to the Property Manager right away. She was super sweet and fixed my problem right away, no hesitations; along with the rest of the staff they are always very helpful. The community here is amazing. I do not have any regrets signing here:)
Amazing property! It is convenient to everything! The property manager Christina was so helpful! It really makes moving so much easier when you have wonderful people to help throughout the process! And the pool and gym are amazing!
Thank you Standard for the amazing living experience. Colleen was always my go-to and you could count on her for everything! I left Standard due to relocation with my job, but will move back to this complex in a heartbeat if I should be fortunate enough to get a transfer back to Austin. Maintenance was always reliable, quick and friendly, and the manager Kristina made my move out process a breeze! Ciao for now, and Hookem!
Ideal place to live - great location, friendly staff, clean and convenient amenities. Would absolutely recommend for anyone looking to live at the domain. Huge shout out to Kristina & Colleen for helping me settle in!! A+
Just want to say how helpful, attentive, and kind the office staff are. Regina and Colleen were very helpful to us yesterday. Its so important to have people that are outgoing and want to help people and these two certainly do! Thanks ladies!
The new management team is wonderful! You see the maintenance team working hard to keep the area clean. Robert completed my last work order and he was very polite and professional! I would definitely recommend The Standard!
Just moved in over the weekend and I couldnt be happier! I worked with the manager Christina, and she made the process easy and painless. Moving can be stressful, but they made it fun and I cant wait to check out all the amenities and events that I have heard about from other residents!
The apartment is in a nice location everything is walkable, I would say this is the biggest attraction to the property, I’m usually not one to complain when I moved in the apartment was dirty, the counter tops were dusty the floor was not mopped the carpets had an abundant amount of pet hair the cabinets need to be painted over/repaired, all of this was fine, I swept, mopped, vacuumed wiped everything down to get the apartment in presentable shape to “sanitize” the apartment. What spurred this review was getting kicked out of my own pool, I understand restrictions because COVID and our current state of affairs as a country. I was with my girlfriend and her brother who’s visiting form England (who has quarantined for 3 weeks), socially distanced during the day on Monday, not bothering anyone minding our own business, not being loud or obnoxious. There were a total of 5 people at the pool, an other couple and us. I got this apartment to enjoy and I can’t have a drink by the pool with a visitor without getting kicked. There is a level of understanding that comes with management and customer service that goes beyond policy. If you show that much concern for the only 5 people at the pool, I would request that you show the same level of concern in prepping and sanitizing your apartments for new guests who move in.To give background: All amenities are open, Resident Only useI have a 1bd room, if your significant other comes over and you want to get a workout in together at the gym or have a drink by the pool, theyll kick your significant other out. Which is effectively kicking out the resident as well. They will ask you to put your significant other on the lease. If I would of taken pictures of the black mop water and the color of the Clorox after wiping the countertops down I would of posted them below, but like I said I wasnt planning on complaining or posting anything, the only reason I have pictures of the pet hair is because I got a new roomba was was pretty impressed with what it could do. This emptying out the vacuum and running it on different days
AVOID... Overpriced non luxury apts.. this place was once a cool spot. But new management has ruined it
I lived at the Standard for 14 months from the time they opened Feb 2016. There were several issue with the entire process of being first ones in a new building. The pool wasnt ready, the mail room was not set up, elevators didnt work, and packages kept getting lost or returned. Overall the staff was nice but they ALWAYS forgot to get back to you on anything you ever called about. You had to keep hounding them for things you called several times about. Terrible customer service on that end. I did enjoy the location because it is nice to be able to walk everywhere. The traffic is a lot to deal with and the garage you have to park in you almost get in a car accident daily and the top level gate NEVER worked properly. It literally locked me in one time and I had to get to work. In the 14 months I lived there the gate was left open 80% of the time. Now that I have moved out I am calling with questions about my deposit and no one is calling me back! I paid over $1000 in deposits and want some answers. Not the best the Domain has to offer.
I love this place! The new management team is on their A game, I have been really impressed with the way they run things. The location is perfect, and close to everything you need, and all of the staff members have been very responsive and welcoming to anything I have needed. I can see myself being here for quite some time!
I normally do not write reviews.. but I am just so thrilled to be here at The Standard. The new management team is amazing and since day one, you can tell they are trying to improve daily. I cannot wait to see whats next! Colleen has been extremely helpful and can answer every question I have. Do yourself a favor and move to The Standard they will definitely take care of you.
Out of all the places I’ve toured this is by far the best. Whether it was downtown or the domain. The staff and apartments were amazing. I can’t wait to live here!
I am so glad I found this place to call home! My apartment is perfect and I am in love with this location. The staff has been super friendly and helpful with the whole process. They really know how to make you feel welcome!
Great place to live. Friendly staff, great amenities, & I love all the events the office throws. Looking forward to the big Christmas party next week
I love my apartment and the location! The staff is great and super friendly. Christina has always been so helpful and quick to react.
I love it here! Cant wait for pool season again this summer! Shout out to Christina for always being so helpful when I have questions.
Lived here for about 6 months and enjoying it. Great location in the Domain. The staff is very nice and easy to deal with. Units are nice and have enjoyed the pool, and common areas. I rarely see other residents but I have noticed some dont clean up after their dogs and have left the pool area trashed with cigarette butts. Overall, a good community with good value.
I love my apartment here! I have lived here since it was first built! I must say since the new management change and all the kindness from Christina and her team made me feel at home, I will def keep living here and renew my lease this summer!
Just renewed my lease. I wasnt planning on it until I experienced NWR Management. If youre looking for a fun place to live, then this is the place! Be sure to ask for Christina!
Ive been living here for a year now, very happy with this place overall. Great gyms if thats important for you, and people in the reception are very nice and responsive.
Just started my moving search and visited this place over the weekend. Absolutely stunning! It’s safe to say I’ve found my new place!
Awesome Location! Great pools and gyms. Staff is always friendly and happy to help, especially Colleen and Christina.
I have enjoyed my home here for the last 6 months, and I really enjoy the new management team of Diana and Christine. Its obvious that they care, and I highly recommend this complex to anyone in the Austin area.
“ The Standard Domain is a great place to live! The staff is very nice and Christina the manager is helpful and understanding. Thank you for everything you do! “
I absolutely LOVE living at The Standard! The location is perfect, the apartments are well designed and the staff is so kind! Sara, Ali, and Ty are always willing to help, answer questions, and do a phenomenal job at taking care of residents. I cant wait to sign again for the 3rd year! :) Thanks Standard Team!
Nice place, easy in and out with the keys and toll tag reading. Four stars needs more green area and cleaner dog area, or plants that help with bacteria breakdown and nitrogen fixation, maybe? Friendly people all around and good times!
Ive seen our community grow so much and the staff still does the best job of helping all of us in every way! Just noiser.... Thats all thanks so much to the leasing office and maintenance for continued awesomeness!
This place has really gone downhill ever since the management changed. It used to be very clean and the management very proactive. Now the place seems not maintained as well. By the way, the zen courtyard in building Z appears to have a roach infestation, and when you put in a request asking them to remove a hornets nest from your balcony, theyll mark it as done and leave you to do it yourself. Not to mention the parking garage doors break every month and prevent you from getting in, or worse, trap you inside the garage, making you late for work. Still better than the last place I lived though, so 3 stars...
Very nice and professional office staff who answered all my questions. The apartments are beautiful and convenient. I can walk to shopping and restaurants.
The staff was really nice, Diana helped me out a lot and the whole process went very fast and efficient.(Update) I found rodents in my apartment, I contacted the staff and hopefully it can be resolved soon.
Do not live here. The property just came under new management as of April 2019. My dog knows how to lock doors. She locked me out. I called them and had 7 minutes to go before they closed at 6 pm. They literally opened the door at 6:01 PM and complained and tried to charge me the $50 fee plus the $100 fob fee. Do not live here. Trust me. It’s not what it used to be under the old management and when Ty was in charge.
Although I dont live here yet, I want to say how awesome this place seems. I toured this week with Christina and plan to sign tonight. Location is great.
Best apartments in the Domain area! I just renewed my lease for another year. Christina is amazing and always helps if I ever need anything.
Don’t move here unless you want your packages stolen and you car scratched. Concierge is reckless and couldn’t care about residents frustrations.
