This has been one of my best experiences living at a big apartment complex. The amenities are perfect, the privacy is nice and the unit is affordable in a city that has outrageous rates. The staff works tirelessly to make sure all my needs are met. The community manager, Carlos, leads a strong team and the maintenance crew is always ready to make repairs quickly. I hope to stay of it continues to be affordable.
The front office staff is so kind! Carlos is absolutely amazing! Jimmy and the others on the maintenance team go above and beyond. Cant thank them enough!
I just recently moved here and my experience so far has been nothing but great! I feel right at home especially with how much I felt welcomed by Brad. I moved from Wisconsin and he made the leasing process so smooth and answered all my questions. The staff here is great and if I ever need anything, I know I can reach out and Ill get some kind of answer. The location is perfect as I have everything I need within 5 mins. The apartments itself was also just what I expected and maybe even better from just looking at images online (since I couldnt see it in person, being from a different state). Would recommend!
I’ve lived here for a year now with my roommate and I’m planning to sign for my second year here at Northland at the Arboretum! We are both 20-year-old girls who moved in at 19, and we have always felt so safe living here! safety was very important to us when looking for a home. The environment feels like being in a cozy neighborhood with friendly neighbors of all ages. also, I’ve been so impressed with the management and staff. They are very quick to respond to our maintenance requests, very thorough with communication, and always very welcoming and polite when I run into them or have questions. I also love the location as it’s very close to lots of restaurants and 183 access and I don’t need to drive more than 5 miles to run errands. highly recommend!!! ❤️
Just recently moved in and love the place! Brad has helped me with everything and has been a blessing to me!! I would highly recommend this home to anyone
Ive lived in this apartments for a total of 3 years. I really like the manager. She is amazing and works hard to help you. The location is great because there is a lot of stores and restaurants near by.
Pool does not work, security gate does not work, leasing agent we dealt with does not know what they are doing. Either they lied to us, or they are incompetent. Either is not okay.Biggest complaints:-Miscommunication about garages for rent. We were told they were available, but found out the day of move in that none were available. We had to scramble to find a storage unit, same day.-Miscommunication about the lease breaking process. We expected to pay a lease break fee and prorated rent, but we were told that there would be no prorated rent - just the lease break fee. We confirmed that again with the agent just to be certain - we were surprised by that. In actuality, there is a lease break fee and prorated rent. As expected. This would have been a none issue if the agent had not told us incorrect information.Happily in a house, now. We hope your stay is short to nonexistent at Northland.
Awesome staff, Thank you Brad for helping us find our new home.
I just moved in with my friend and Brad took care of us quickly and made us feel so welcomed immediately! Thank you Brad :)
I’m currently in the works of finding a new home while moving to the city. I spoke with Ms. Jordan and she was such a wonderful soul. She was very helpful and very knowledgeable. I also spoke with the new manager Carlos and was very pleased by their welcoming and assuring experience. Viewing the property i saw that it was well put together and very quiet, which I love. They are definitely at the top of my list for considering as being my new home.
I would like to thank Jordan, Carlos and Brett leasing agents at Northland at The Arboretum apartments. They did a great service and very friendly. -Zucel
Recently I had clients interested in finding a new apartment home. We visited Northland at the Arboretum and met Patti ODeay, leasing consultant. Patti was with other customers when we arrived; however, she warmly greeted us and let us know she would be with us soon. We sat with her and talked about the community, toured their model, and discussed pricing. While sitting with her, some current residents stopped in to pick up packages. Rather than make them wait (or come back later) she was quick to help them and hardly missed a beat with us.I think it speaks volumes about a consultant who treats everyone with consideration and respect. Ive seen many people who disregard current tenants as if they do not exist when they are trying to sign up someone new. I was very impressed with Pattis ability to work with all people effectively at once. She was very friendly, professional, and courteous of everyone. Her demeanor was extraordinary. I think she deserves recognition for her exemplary example!
An absolute gem, great value, wonderful staff. Jared and his maintenance staff are so fast getting to issues and friendly on top of that. The same is to be said for the office staff who are always so nice and answer our millions of questions. Youre not going to get a better deal in this area.
Shout out to Patti Odeay and Jordan Hopkins at the leasing office. Even through everything going on with COVID, they were extremely professional in assisting my clients lease their new apartment. Such a great experience with them and I look forward to working with them again in the near future. Thanks ladies!
Maintenance is been on point with all my work orders, my ac went out yesterday and Jimmy came to my apartment and fixed my ac right away.Thank you so much !!!
Nice and private. Kitchen and deck are the biggest and best features.
We have been at Northland for over a year now and just re-signed our lease! In our year as tenants we have had no major issues in our second floor unit - and all minor (day to day wear and tear) issues are resolved quickly and efficiently by the wonderful maintenance staff. The leasing/office staff is beyond helpful and go above and beyond to make Northland a quality place to live - The staff approachable, kind and what make this place so wonderful. Special thank you to Jordan in the office for being so accommodating and helpful every time we see her!+ We always feel safe+ Friendly & helpful staff+ Great location+ Clean units (some recently renovated)+ Great floor plans+ Lots of walking areas for dogs & VERY pet friendly+ Parking+ Community events and specials+ Easy APP for paying your rent and making maintenance requests
Its very cozy here..not alot of noise or drama...i love it !!!
Before moving in, the management team was beyond helpful, during the application process. Immediately after moving in, major issues arose. From the cleanliness of the apartment (their response, its an old building, what do you expect ), to not responding to our maintenance request, to incorrect charges and payments not displaying on the account, resulting in fees. The location is nice and quiet. The ground upkeep is sub par. The parking is ridiculous. The corporate office, does not call back unless you threaten to go above them. The apartments need a serious renovation or completely destroyed to start over. They have hired new leasing staff, however, they rather rush you and finish your sentences than hear you out. My lease is over in August, and I have been waiting to write this review, hoping, things will get better. Honestly, if I could break my lease today, I definitely would. Consider another place to live. It isnt worth it. The 2nd star is for the best thing about my apartment, the balcony and the beautiful trees that surround it. :)
Lived here going on 4 years. The management sucks but rent is fair and the apartments are nice. Not much neighborly interaction but there is some.
Its crazy to see all the different reviews on here! I have lived here for a month now and absolutely love it. The staff is so nice and helpful. The maintenance is super fast at getting the job done, and right. I feel extremely safe here and all of my neighbors seem to be kind and look out for one another.I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!
So far this place is nice. Management is helpful and maintenance is always on time. The location is awesome, so have no other complaints. But for management would be good if they can color the apartments looks little old from outside. Overall good for its price.
It is so interesting to see the different reviews about the same complex. After living here for almost 3 years, I call it home. The office staff has been great and always receptive to my concerns. They have been great to work with. The custodial staff is GREAT!! Always solved the problem; and, if not, they came back and took care of it. I would recommend this complex to anyone.
Theft is at a all time high here and management won’t lift a finger to help. Many cars get broken into per month here. No camera at key locations like the only 2 entrance and exits. The parking lot is flooded with people who can not maintain financial responsibility for their cars. The lights are dim and there is not enough of them. The mail room is constantly robbed of its mail. Package theft is as easy to see as being outside after ups or fedex leave the property.I’m not a expert on property management, but it seems like here they turn a blind eye to theft and theft solutions. They will fix your A/C or toilet quickly because it belongs to them, but if it’s not their property they don’t care. Speaking with the Mgr they wouldn’t put cameras up because that another cost and if something happens they will have to turn them over to authorities to help and that cost time. When the trash moves in and no one is assigned to trash detail it’s time to reconsider where you’re living.
I love living here. The complex is cozy, there are always families out by the pool, the workout facility could use some up-to-date equipment but it gets the job done - and maintenance is top notch. Ive never had a service request responded to as fast as they do. Great job!
Honestly the only positive to this place is that the floor plans adhere to roommate situations really well and the location is perfect for shopping. But from here on out it goes down hill.So when my roommates and I moved in the AC was not working. At all. The problems began to build up, leaks, broken door knobs/locks, more leaks, wasp nest, and at the beginning maintenance used to respond really quickly! It was fantastic and I couldnt really complain about that until this past problem. The AC was leaking on my floor where my dryer and washer connections are. I discovered this because I stepped into a puddle of water and almost fell on my face. I put in a request about last week for a wasp nest to be taken care of. It was not. They claimed it was. So now I have two problems. Then I noticed my sink in my bathroom is leaking. Three problems. I clumped this altogether in a maintenance request and put it in around Friday last week (30th of May) they didnt come by until today(6th of June). Left nasty shoe prints all over my floor, didnt explain how he was fixing my sink and ac that well at all. Oh and if you are human and have the misfortune to lose your job around the time renewing your registration on your car is coming up and cant afford to do that, kiss your car goodbye because they will tow it. I cannot wait for my lease to be over in October.
This place is amazing the staff is awesome when it comes to helping us out if we really need it and they have the best maintenance crew I ever had the pleasure of working with, they come and fix issues very quickly and they are polite and friendly. My husband and I have been living here for a little over a year now and we love it. The only reason we will be moving is to start a family and our apartment is to small to house 3/4 people but other than that this place is amazing.
Want a place where your safe? Looking for privacy and a sense of security in your home? Tired of management who doesnt consider you a person? Then dont live here. The moment we turned away from our signatures all the smiles were gone. Ac broken during even the winter. Half the unit was missing insulation, windows were dirty, plugs are fire hazards, nails in my floor, broken disposal 2nd day. Run down appliances. Gates never work in the front and you will receive threatening letters about your own car being parked outside. Harassed all my guests and all my friends who are woman were extremely uncomfortable around the maintenance. We use the buddy system around property because if your alone you are bound to be harassed by management for cash. Laundry units are a joke. The responses to these problems are complete jokes. Thank you for sharing your concern. Our residents come first to us so we would like to resolve this to the best of our abilities... Blah blah blah. You call them and she will post $400 notices on your door for literally nothing. Heres the solution. Quit your job. You really dont care about people and shouldnt be in a position that requires a human level of compassion and understanding. I wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemy..
Old apartments and services are not upto the mark.
They have a SERIOUS pet waste problem, one that no one seems remotely interested in solving. Ive had the misfortune of stepping in dog bombs 3X since moving in less than six months ago, but I still believe in cleaning up after my dog, which I do every time.To drive home the scope of the problem, the pix Im attaching are from one walk. Not only that, its a walk spanning the space of just two buildings; there are 39 apartment buildings on the property. One walk, SEVEN piles of dog waste.
We loved living here, we loved our apartment, the pool and how convenient everything was located around us. However the staff and their attitude towards us was horrendous. They always seemed like we were inconveniencing them and were sometimes downright rude. While I loved the location, I would never recommend friends to live here based on how we were treated.
I like living here, for the most part. Some neighbors are loud at night; PSST! Not everyone has the weekend off and can sleep in the next morning! The office staff is great! Emily and Lori are my favorite people in the office. Lori always asks about my dog.😊 They are very helpful whenever there is an issue. The maintenance department generally responds quickly enough. We did have stairwell lights out for months upon months, and my neighbor and I did send several requests. (4, total over a 12 month period) Kind of scary at night. They installed new lighting fixtures throughout, so problem fixed. All the buildings were painted last year, and they look beautiful. The only problem I wish could be resolved is a playground of some sorts for kids. As it is, the kids have to ride scooters on sidewalks or in the streets and lots. Scary. They can’t really play in the grass because some pet owners are jerks and don’t pickup after their pets. It’s tough for kids to live here. You have to drive to the closest parks. That’s hard to do everyday. The pool being out last year was annoying, but I’d rather be safe than sorry. Some of the gym equipment needs to be replaced, but there are nice trails to walk on outside.Apartment appliances could definitely use some updating, but they work. They’re just old and a bit ugly. For the location, it’s not a bad place overall.
I have been living here since September of 2015 and let me just say it has been awful. Ill start with the management. No one EVER answers the phone. If you need to get a hold of the office or maintenance for any reason or for an emergency maintenance request you can forget about it. Especially on a Saturday. I once called them 12 times in a row and nobody answered. Eventually I had to go to the office to try and talk to someone and when you finally do to talk to someone they are rude or never get around to fixing what you asked for.Another huge issue is the PARKING. The spots are tiny. Even a smart car barely fits and thats no exaggeration. My roommate and I have had multiple parking stickers threatening to tow us because we were in two spots. Its almost impossible not to slightly be on the line especially if you have a truck or even a bigger car. There will be cars sitting in the parking lot for weeks without moving. Even after informing the office of these cars, they still were not moved/towed.Then there is the flea/bug situation. The first week we lived here we had a huge wasp problem on our balcony. It took Maintenance about a week to come to my apartment and when they did all they did was knock the nest down. They didnt spray or anything. There was a flea problem prior to me moving in and maintenance didnt do anything about it. They dont spray for bugs/fleas outside the apartments even though they make you pay monthly for pest control. This is an older complex so things such as appliances and counter tops are outdated and will break easily. The only good thing about this apartment complex is the location which is why they can get away with rent being so high. Even in a prime location we wont be renewing our lease and we are counting down the days until were out of here.
Ive been at Northland for 2+ years (been in austin for 3 years now) and that just goes for saying how amazing the staff and the apartments are.LOCATION: It is set right on Jollyville and youve got Rudys within walking distance, several shopping centers, HEB, Walgreens, Trader Joes, Starbucks and several other eateries within a 5 min drive and as the name goes you are down the road from the Arboretum shops.CAPMETRO: Northland is also located between a CapMetro park and ride (north bound) and a bus station thats about 3 blocks away from the complex.COMPLEX/APARTMENTS: The actual apartments are located in a quiet and safe neighborhood. I never had any issues with safety or noisy neighbors, with that said, if you are looking for a party thriving, college setting apartment this isnt the place for you. It is very quiet neighborhood with families, retirees, older crowds etc and thats exactly what I was looking for. Youll have people enjoying the amenities on the property such as the pool but everyones pretty conscious and respectful of one another. There are also deers that stroll around the complex and that was another little favorite thing of mine. The apartments are spacious and maintained very well. I did not have any issues upon move in or during my stage. They are currently going through a renovation process and thats that their non-renovated units are in very good conditions (I had a non-renovated). Depending on your location you might get aMAINTENANCE: Maintenance is VERY quick with their work orders they are usually done within the day if you submit the order on time if not they are done on the following day. Jimmy (one of the maintenance men) is very courteous and helpful. He is one of those that makes sure to go above and beyond in his work and enjoys what he does, and that to me goes a long way.STAFF: During my stay there I never came across a single staff person who wasnt willing to help out or provide me with information. Everyone is very helpful and they always take notice to greet their residents. They definitely care about their residents and they always make sure that their line of communication is always open to their residents.Definitely recommend them!
In overall, I had a good experience living at Northland Arboretum. The appliances is very very old and the things breaks frequently but the maintenance team is amazing and once you open the request they will solve asap. The utilities bill was kind of high - maybe because the building is old - depends on the month the avg for electric bill was 150 -200usd and 100usd for water (I was not home from 8h to 6h). The parking was good, never had issues to find place to park, the dog park was always clean, people from the leasing office was always super nice, I never had issues with packages or mail deliver. Something that was super annoying was the school bus that was honking every morning inside of the complex and I used to have noisy neighbors that was living upstairs and have strong steps and moving furnitures during the night.I just moved from this complex, there was no renewed one available for the time that I needed, their new floor plans are nice compared to others that I visited.
Well since I live there its a really cool experience.
Lived here July 2018- June 2019.Everything was good except it was really old and we had some roaches (my roommates and I were too lazy to ask for pest control -.-) my experience living in this apartment was great and maintenance requests or any questions were responded/answered promptly. Would have continued to live in the apartment but had to move to a different place due to roommate changes and starting school again. The location of the apartment is great - you have everything- HEB, restaurants, gym (24 fitness), close to great hills trail area - starbucks, barnes and noble, teapioca, etc. Parking was alright and neighbors were nice. We did have some issues with water bills for the first few months due to that weird water company but those were taken care of and gotten our credit back. other than that I can’t think of any issues. Would recommened this apartment(:
Lived here for years. The quality of dynamics certainly has shifted to the point of bringing the quality of life here to a low income state. People speed in the parking lot, there are car and apartment break ins, pool pump is always breaking but they invested in beautifying the pool area vs fixing the pump for the pool. The back of the apartments quality is sacrificed-- litteres. My kids and I pick up around our area bc it gets embarrassing when we have visitors.
Travelers that lived there for three months. Very satisfied with service, however apartments are dated. But we had to find a place to live in a rush. Great pool and neighbors
I lived at Northland at the Arboretum for 6 years and I am very glad I moved there. The management is really excellent, and the staff is really friendly and helpful. Any issues or repairs that came up were quickly fixed. Plus they host events like getting residents reduced prices at the local pizzeria reduced. The complex grounds are very nice and quiet with scenic trees and a dog park. There are even some deer who meander through the place. The location is good near shopping and such along with quick access to the freeway. But its still far enough away you dont get the noise. And its right across the street from Rudys so you can smell the barbeque! The apartments are very-well designed with decent closet and storage space. They are also quiet and I never had any issues with neighbor noise even though I was on the second floor. The kitchens are great too with microwaves and a good amount of counter and cabinet space. One issue I had was the AC drip into my tub would be discolored, but that was no big deal. Another problem was dumb people leaving their trash beside the dumpster rather than throwing it inside, but thats not the apartments fault.I had to move for my job and I am already missing my old apartment. My new place is not laid out nearly as convenient or useable, and the fridges in Northland were bigger. I wish there was a Northland here in L.A.!If you are looking for a nice, comfortable apartment in north Austin at a good price, I would very much recommend you check this place out.
I have been a resident of Northalnd at the Aboretum for over 8 years. I am moving out now but only due to job relocation to another state. But I will state my experience has been so good I immediately researched for a Northland property in my relocation area.I have loved being a part of this community. My apartment always gets compliments from visitors and I am lucky enough to overlook a very green area from my balcony I step out onto each morning. The office team and the maintenance crew have been very responsive to every need or concern I have ever expressed. I have never had a delay is getting things fixed on a very timely basis. I never have to worry whether something is going to taken care of and done correctly the first time. And I love that the teams pretty much all know me by name and are always extremely friendly and care about assisting me.The pool and common areas are well, kept and the community tries to address needs as they arise. In the time I have lived here a dog park was added to address resident needs for their pets. Also fun and interesting community events are planned....many even featuring local Austin businesses which is always a HUGE plus if you love Austin like I do.Thanks to a great commmunity and a great team! You will enjoy living here in the center of so much activity at very reasonable rates....theater, shopping, dining....it’s all right here.
I had lived here for awhile, the peace was very short. We had loud inconsiderate alcoholic neighbors, Loud all the time. Our apartment was located near the front office and the front were careless about our situation. There became no reason to even think about filing a complaint on how rude these people were. The apartment community went downhill .They need to increase security. My family member was offered drugs on the way out to their car. Lots of beer cans trash. The place could use more lighting and the dumpsters were overfilling. However I did not have a problem with maintenance people. They had a fast response time. which was surprising. The rule is to clean up after their dogs People dont clean up after their dogs.Should get a 2 star but Im giving it a 3.As close to the highway it was. It was somewhat decent location, the management and the community are thoughtless conceited people inhabit this community. You will have some problems at these apartments...
Overall this place is a roof over my head but lets talk about them not opening their office on time. Literally you have two people sitting inside staring at they person outside almost 15 minutes after opening and nothing. I have always thought the office staff was lazy and not very friendly but now Im pissed.
Dana is HORRIBLE to deal with. She is dishonest and lazy. The apartments have lots of issues and the office management is not helpful. Strongly suggest finding elsewhere to live
I like the place in general. I wish management would make sure the buildings are kept nicer and stairs and hallways swept and railways cleaned.
Love the location of the complex and the location of my unit, HATE EVERYTHING ELSE! Where do I begin… I have been living here since March and it started out fine and dandy, until I signed my lease and was handed my apartment keys. The only thing clean in my unit was the carpet and because of the type of carpet, that didn’t last long. Cabinets were filthy, had to end up dusting and wiping them down from dust and food particles that were left. When I first moved to the property, I was quoted a monthly rental price for the one unit I was told was available at the time, which was pretty steep for me considering my financial situation and family size, but wanted to live in the area because of the elementary and primary school rankings of the schools my children would attend, so I put in my application with Northland at the Arboretum. I still searched other properties in that area however and solicited the services of an apartment locator who informed me that Northland came up on her listings and when she called about the one available unit she was quoted a monthly rent that was $25 cheaper than what I was quoted. When I contacted the leasing office and asked if I could get the unit at the price quoted to the locator, I was told I couldnt because the market rate had adjusted again and the price was back to what I was quoted and had put in my application for, which had been approved.Since moving in, I have had many MAJOR maintenance issues along the way. I have had my hot water heater go out and need replacing; my thermostat has needed to be replaced as well. There was a few days’ time span when my children and I went without air conditioning during a very warm time period because the outside AC unit went out and had to be replaced and don’t you know they gave me a SMALL window unit for a three bedroom apartment and my kids and I had to sleep on the floor for three days until the new unit was put in. My dishwasher is not functioning properly and I was told that maintenance was going to order the new part and come back to make the repairs, but they haven’t. I keep putting in service tickets and maintenance keeps closing them out without making the repairs and when you call the front office, you either get no answer, no return calls from messages you’ve left or ATTITUDE! My refrigerator has now started to leak, the bathroom sinks and tubs drain very slowly and I hear water dripping behind the walls, which I’m sure all residents are fitting the bill for since the water bills is distributed amongst all units and additional fees depending on the number of bodies in your apartment! Ceiling fans are old and not functioning properly and shelving in the inside closets and outside storage closet is falling apart, I’m afraid to place anything heavy on them. The front office staff is flat out RUDE!!! These people, along with Corporate have been non responsive to my requests and are only concerned with making a buck! And I just received a lease renewal letter stating that my rent was going up by AT LEAST $78 bucks if I signed for another 12 months, Lord forbid I sign for less than that, or it would be more than $78 bucks! The only reason I am even considering renewing is because again, the schools are good schools and I can’t just keep uprooting my children, which I begged and pleaded to management prior to getting the renewal offer, but got some bull crap response about the market and whatever it was at the time and how the value had gone up, which I don’t see how because it is an outdated complex and the area has become more unsafe. But even with my plea for a minimal increase, if any, management could care less! They do not care about their tenants once the ink is dry, I have never seen such insensitive people in my life and how can you tell someone what their rent is going to be three months down the road if it’s based on the market which fluctuates every day? And at some point in time rent HAS TO STOP GOING UP! What if I chose to live here for 10 years, at a yearly rate increase of at least $78 bucks!! See attached image for more
I had a pretty good experience with Northland. The office staff was friendly, punctual with all requests, and had super reasonable policies. Maintenance was always timely- they usually came the same day I requested something. For how cheap they are, the apartments are amazingly nice. Recess/track lighting, microwave included in kitchen layout, updated bathrooms, etc. Really nice layout, and carpets/floors were in great conditions. It didnt look like those crappy 70s/80s apartments that havent been remodeled since they were built.A few negatives...we did have quite a few bugs considering the fact that they charge you for pest control. It wasnt an infestation or anything, but I killed a lot of crickets and spiders, and we continually had a lot of dead bugs near the door. It wasnt enough to have me worried but if you have a bug phobia it might be a problem for you. The other thing is HORRENDOUSLY HIGH electric bill. I mean, just ridiculous. I know it shouldnt have been that much. I was in a two bedroom paying around $120 a month in electric. My parents are in a three story house in Austin, using way more energy, and were paying under $100! So something was up with insulation or something. It didnt seem to matter how hard my roommate and I tried to conserve energy. Not sure if all the apartments are like that or just ours, but I couldnt believe the amount of money Austin Energy was sucking out of us.Overall, Id totally recommend this place. Everyones experience is different but I had a great time here and would have stayed had I not been offered a job outside of Austin!
I have lived here for eight months and I love it! Great location, awesome staff and Speedy maintenance crew!
I loved it here. Too bad I had to relocate for work to DFW area! Wish I could of packed up the staff and Taken everyone with me!! No issues for me!
Friendly staff! Great roommate style floor plans.
Place is in a nice area and is a great place, but price started going to high every year now I have to move.
Complete scam. Management is very rude, and will lure you in with empty promises, typical corporate model. Only care to take every dime they can out of you. Prejudice would be a nice way of putting it. Found food from tenants 4 years ago in my cabinets when i moved in. Mold, run down appliances they refuse to upgrade. Scum still on rr walls, feces stills in the toilets, sink was falling off and ran my bill up. A/c is ran not just off your unit but others as well. Electric is wired horribly making the bills tremendously high. Head plumber/security/ is a complete pervert and will follow you around the complex staring at you with or without a child. And if you complain it report it the office they will treat you like its your fault and harass you for more money anyway they can get it. This corporation owns 6 other companies i would never refer as well. I hope our family makes it out of this place safe and not homeless. This is our first time in austin and it has been horrific living here. Detectives in the area believe this is where the rapist on jollyville lives.
Beautiful property, friendly neighbors and great staff
***AVOID AVOID AVOID***The management is horrific! If you are a woman, rape victim, have a family, or simply a minority get ready for the worst treatment you have ever experienced. They will make you feel like you are COMPLETELY UNwelcome and are inconveniencing them. They target minority while they have a problem us. Apartment held together by clear scotch tape that I didnt find till later. Appliances not cleaned with food still in cabinets and nails in carpet facing upward to make for a great alarm when you wake. Electric is wired to other units so you will pay for other tenant bills. And rather than fix it they simply divide the building cost to everyone. Maintanence is racist and head plumber is a complete pervert. Kate is one of the rudest most absent ppl around.she is more concerned with her new car payment than the living conditions of people they scammed to get here. Was promised privacy for my new home and days after moving in was told this is not my home but a legal dwelling. Your not a human here. Just another half ass job to be performed. To the corporate owners. Really check yourself and then rethink why our housing markets are deteriorating and how doing your job right can help. And the staff, look in the mirror and realize your upholding corporate statutes that only serve to hold you back as well. That raise for being heartless to desperate people will feel good for a week but when you have a family of your own it will come back in you as you realize how much goes into holding a family together. Resistance Pool isnt heated, dog park is because they didnt want to spend money to replace a health hazard that was up before. Basketball court is joke. Easily one of the worst places Ive seen. Never thought people actually treated other humans like this.
I saw a HUGE rat in this apartment. Manager have been consistently and absolutely useless. Management is VERY VERY rude. Now l have to move.
Also really good service
Management is VERY VERY rude. I remember when I signed my lease the guy put it in front of me and said, sign where I put an x. Then he got on his iphone and just started texting away. SO DISRESPECTFUL. I asked for my ceiling fan to be replaced bc its SO OLD and disgusting and loud. They practically laughed at me and treated me like I was so demanding when I NEVER EVER asked for anything to be replace. DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!! Overpriced and undermanaged!!!! Also there are a million teenagers who dont even live there that cause havoc...doing drugs, drinking at night...its really bad...but the min thing is management....terrible people
I like living here. Great staff and location
Dana was the best manager ever.
What a dump!
Awful service and horrible apartments
Live here!!!
I would like to say only good things about this place but I feel so frustrated that I cannot. A few days ago I received the contract renewal notice where there is a clause underlining that if you want to stay here you must add $ 75 for your cable and internet. That you dont use cable? They dont care, you have to pay that or Dont renew contract. That you have an existing contract from another company? They dont care at all. To that we can add that every month you will pay $ 100 of water bill in a 2/2 apart, do you think it is expensive? Nothing to do, the property wastes water because you pay it, period. Anyway, if after this you are interested in hearing something good, I will tell you that my neighbors are calm and the shopping center is close.I would like to say only good things about this place but I feel so frustrated that I cannot.
