This is a pamper situation like no other. They take you to your own private spa room with a jacuzzi and a sauna and let you relax for a half hour before and after your massage. This place is pure heaven for the massage oriented person.

Truly a wonderful experience and lovely spa! Very friendly and welcoming staff and wonderful treatments.

1st class all around

Very nice and relaxing. The spa was wonderful and romantic for two. Id recommend this to anyone who needed a little getaway. The breakfast from the cafe was very good as well (eggs Benedict). The only thing is the room was very warm and you couldnt really turn down the thermostat. Luckily the sliding door in the room opens so that made up for that. All in all a wonderful stay, and we will be back.

This weekend away was an anniversary gift and quite possibly the worst place I have ever been. The dining options were limited because we needed reservations in advance (which no one mentioned) and the spa was completely booked as well, which no one bothered to mention. So imagine a weekend away to a place that boasts all of these wonderful amenities and none of them are available to guests who paid $977.31 per night. Not only will I be seeking a full refund but I would advise you to stay somewhere else. When I couldnt get ahold of anyone in the spa after multiple attempts, the receptionist told me that me it was right down the hall and I should just walk down. Im not comparing it to the Four Seasons, but a stay at the Holiday Inn would have been better. Dont throw away your money!

Awesome spa experience!

Our Thanksgiving here at Walden was very special. The staff are so attentive. The food from breakfast thru high tea and the wonderful complimentary cheese plate. Awesome! We had dinner last evening at The Barn. Excellent! Thanksgiving dinner itself at The Club at Walden was spectacular!

Excellent experience both massage and stay

Spa Walden is the 5 star bench mark for all other Spas. Yesterday, I had the most spectacular spa treatment from Brenden, who treated me for lower back & hamstring pain. He was such a professional and knew exactly what pressure points to work on. After my treatment, I truly feel I turned the corner in healing my back. I am deeply grateful for all the TLC I received. In addition, the spa is beautiful, serine and relaxing and the staff is incredibly accommodating. Walden Spa is exceptional and I will be sure to return for more amazing treatments.

If you havent been here, you need to! It is legitimately the best spa I have ever been to! I have been here a couple of times and service was never rushed and you will leave truly relaxed...or not... The inn is beautiful too!

I’ve been going to Spa Walden for three years and my experiences have always been absolutely amazing! From the jacuzzi tubs, to massages, to hair and nail appointments. Walden has been my go to place for anything. Carly in the salon fixed a butchered coloring I had done (somewhere else!) and always does an amazing job with any new idea I bring to her. I will always recommend Walden for any occasion! Anniversaries, birthdays and so much more! Thank you, Walden family!

The Walden Inn property is one of a kind. From the time you make a reservation until you check out, you are treated kindly like you wish everyone would treat you. The rooms are top class, with a wonderful bed, fireplace, and spa bathroom. The views from your windows, deck or patio make you want to move in. Food is wonderful too. I enjoy relaxing in the lounge with a glass of wine, or watching the horses train in the indoor arena. My favorite place!

Amazing experience at the spa which included exceptional service. Have stayed at the Walden a number of times and have never been disappointed. Ive visited Walden several times and it never fails to impress. The entire staff has most certainly been trained to treat guests as special as Walden itself is. Its a one-of-a-kind place and experience. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful dinner that was presented beautifully and tasted delicious. We were extremely satisfied our expectations were met and then some. Everyone enjoyed their dinners. One of us had the scallops, the duck, the fillet and I had the seafood gratinee which was absolutely wonderful. It was very special evening the barn was beautifully decorated for Christmas the server Was very attentive. We would certainly go back if given the opportunity thank you for a delightful evening.

A beautiful setting for post-holiday relaxation. Love the suites! A unique experience different than most spas with lockers and common areas. We had our own hot tub and steam room and the massages right in the room. Relaxation before and after enhanced the overall experience. We enjoyed lunch in the fireplace room. Be sure to place your order before your session. Very attentive staff. Highly recommend!

My husband and I had our first and probably last visit today. We went to celebrate our anniversary. The room was lovely and so relaxing but half of our jets worked in our tub which was what we wanted to use preferably over the steam shower, and we were also never given our glasses of wine. Not worth it for the price.

Pure BlissI have had the pleasure to visit Spa Walden on several occasions and they never disappoint! The staff go over and above to make sure your visit is everything it should be at a 5 star spa! The facility is clean and equipped with every amenity you could need. I highly recommend booking several services in a suite with either your significant other or a friend. I did with a friend and we had an absolute fantastic day! Im thinking I need to book another one ASAP!

Heaven on earth! Ive been to Waldens Spa twice for massages. Once as a couple and once by myself. Each time, I came away not only feeling stress free and relaxed but also pampered beyond expectations. The rooms are peaceful and well equipped with a steam room, hot tub bath, tea service, bathroom and relaxing benches and the staff are very knowledgeable and skilled in many different types of massage. I highly recommend treating yourself at Walden, youll be delighted with the experience

The best way to treat yourself! The staff have always offered a true five star service experience each and every time I’ve visited. The messages are the best. I love that you get to unwind in a private suite for an hour or so before being pampered further by the masseuse.

Overall we had a lovely experience. The atmosphere and surroundings including the spa suite were fabulous. We had lunch in the lounge. The food was standard. The lounge was pleasant and we had it to ourselves for a short time. The spa suite and services were very nice. The staff were outstanding throughout - from registration to the very end!

I love this place and its an extraordinarily relaxing and decadent experience. I love the quiet and privacy of the room and the spa services (massage, manicure, pedicure) have been excellent. If I could afford it, Id go more often. I go every couple of years, and usually when someone gives me a gift. Very expensive.

I had my bachelorette day at the spa today. The atmosphere and rooms were amazing, and everyone was very nice; however, the services were very much subpar. I just cannot justify spending that amount of money for a below average experience.

Spa Walden is top notch. Close proximity to shopping and dining alternatives only add to the experience. The rooms are beautiful and the staff attentive. The only knock might be the views.

Walden is an amazing place. The spa is first rate. They know what they are doing and they make every effort to pamper you. You will leave feeling renewed and regenerated.

Terrific. Only things I would change is please paint the ceiling AC grills. We have to stare at them. Get rubber wheels on therapists stools. Plastic on stone ruins the mood.

My girlfriend booked a couples spa suite for a suprise. It was a very relaxing experience that is top notch for the area, monsoon shower and steam sauna in one was incredible. Fresh fruit offered would take this to the next level!

While we always enjoy Walden’s couples spa room, our massages were not what we have come to expect over the years... Ice cold hands and when asked for foot massage infusion, feet failed to be touched. Just disappointed and spa director never addressed it. We cancelled our facials for the next day.;(

Is this place still in business? After 6 phone calls on 6 different days and trying all the different extensions Im beyond frustrated. Ive even left a voicemail with no return call and its going on a week. I wanted to ask a few questions before booking some services online but apparently they dont want my business. For being a 5 star resort / spa the customer service sure is disappointing.

I attended a Lunch and Learn training with Cosmedix Skincare at Spa Walden. It was a phenomenal experience! The owner, Barrie, treated us to a surprise yoga class prior to the class! How gracious and lovely. ❤The spa itself is beautiful. Very tranquil. I love how the treatment rooms are arranged. Jacuzzi tubs and steam showers are in the rooms along with the treatment tables. So, guests stay in one room for their spa services. Your aestheticians and massage therapists come to you.You also have use of the spa tub and/or steam shower for a half hour prior to the service and for another half hour after your service/treatment. In addition, the spa provides dark chocolate, tea & other thoughtful amenities for their guests.It is a beautiful spa that takes advantage of the natural beauty found in Aurora and Hudson. The atmosphere is incredibly serene (which is what you seek in a spa) with well chosen and trained staff. Uncluttered decor which helps one clear the mind. They are accommodating of food allergies. (Thank you!)Depending on where you live, it is a bit of a hike. Please, take the time to visit. It is worth the drive.

In retrospect, I should have gotten a massage instead. I bought my mother a $200 gift card for Christmas so she could get a massage. Due to having a recent surgery, she was unable to do so and used the gift card so she and I could get manicures and pedicures together. I assumed for the amount of money we were paying ($200 gift card and then some), it would be the best nail experience we could have. However, our nails were not done well and they chipped within a day or two of getting them done. My feet were also somehow more dry afterward. There was only one technician for us both, making it a long experience. Very disappointed and wouldnt pay the high price to have my nails done here again.

Fantastic get away. I recommend a visit at least once a year.
