Best nail salon ever! I love going to Kelsey for gel manicures. She makes your nails look impeccable and has a lot of creative ideas if you want something unique; also she is just a lovely human being. I have been going here for close to 2 years. My manicures usually last 3 weeks at a minimum. Beyond that, the salon is beautiful and very clean. If you hate talking on the phone, you can easily book online. They are always on time for appointments.

Great service, great products, and an all-around great experience every. dang. time. Im a loyal Base Coat member, getting my nails done about once a month at any of their Denver salons. Even during COVID, I feel so face, so assured they are invested in their people, their customers, and continuing to create a sustainable, safe space.It is 100% worth the price!

The bogus cancellation policy will screw you. Even if they make you wait a half hour past your appointment time! I was charged 100 for NOTHING, well, for getting my temp taken. Ill never cheat on Uberchic in Lakewood again. They are more professional. And they dont entrap you into canceling. Base coat employees are hustlers. Lame.

My nail technician is my new favorite human and my tiffany-blue nails are my new favorite nails and rose is my new favorite wine. 10/10 would recommend. Especially if you need to feel bad ass because youre meeting your ex for coffee in two days. Weve all been there. Go get yourself some moral support and baller nails. Check out that party nail. 😝

This is my favorite mail place! Ive been coming here for a year and a half very frequently. All the staff is very friendly. Yasmine, my most frequent nail tech, always crushes the nail art and has great attention to detail. She is always willing to help you choose if you need a little inspiration!

Kristin is hands down the BEST nail artist Ive ever had. Everytime I have an appointment scheduled here I know I am in for good laughs, an epic Mani/pedi, and a free glass of rose! Top notch staff, facilities, and commitment to non-toxic beauty routines. I LOVE this place and havent been anywhere else for nail services since they opened their Stanley Marketplace location in late 2016/early 2017.

I was in my last trimester when I went here and they took care of me! I got my toes done and it felt so good! She did a really good job especiailly since i was a walk in! Loved the nail colors too I usually always go for dark colors but their color choices had me go out on limb. And the best thing of course was that it was #nontoxic. Its a bit expensive though so keep that in mind.

Guys, if you want to feel luxurious and get a high quality nail service, all while keeping the health of your nails, then you need to treat yourself to a Base Coat service! I had Bree and she was phenomenal and attentive. All the ladies are enjoyable to be around. They personally formulate there own pure and natural polishes and the quality is well worth the cost!

Pricey but also an upscale place/ environment. The woman who did my cuticles was very particular and detail oriented which made them look very good. For 50 dollars it was an okay experience. The massage and oils smelled nice and they didnt rush anything.

Meh - wasn’t a great experience. The woman who helped me was super friendly, but after paying my bill - and looking at my nails - I was not impressed. Still dirt under my finger nails, a few ragged edges, and my cuticles needed some more love. I know she was in a hurry to get me finished for her next appointment, but expected a more polished look. I missed the massage chairs too...always good to give a place a shot - but I’ll go elsewhere next time.

The salon advertises itself as “a safe option for pregnant or nursing mothers” and free of harmful toxins and chemicals but when I informed the LoHi staff and manager that the Method brand cleaning products (not state required sanitizers) they were mopping the floors with (during my entire pedi) are ranked “D” for reproductive toxicity by EWG and that I had a sore throat and headache from the smell they told me I should take my business elsewhere. I wanted to share this as a warning to others who visit this salon for the same desire to avoid the typical toxins of nail salons. I’d expect basic janitorial cleaning to be done outside of peak hours which would help this issue. My service was fine and I tipped her but when I approached the front desk staff... not unkindly...The 20-something’s more or less blew me off and handed me a card I could email my complaints to. No apology, no offer to make amends or address the issue... just a shrug and we don’t have time for you, pregnant toddler mom who selfishly snuck away for her first pedi in 6 months. So upsetting.

Trying a new salon is always a little nerve racking, but Yasmine made it so much fun! I have never laughed so much while getting my nails done. Not only was I pampered, but I walked out grinning from ear to ear from the great convo I had with Yasmine. Thanks for the beautiful nails and the great belly laughs. It was a great way to end the week!

I was a weekly client of Base Coat for three years and always went to a fabulous nail tech, Vanessa. She quit abruptly because of the owner, Tran ‘s hostile work environment. If you’ve been to Base Coat, you know the outrageously high turnover. This is because the employees are not treated well. Please do not support this company.

I went to Base Coat for the first time recently and absolutely loved it! Kaleah did a fantastic job on my nails! While I don’t get my nails done often I will be back and will make sure Kaleah can do my nails again. I’ve had many a nail technician hurt my hands while getting a manicure, I have very sensitive skin. Kaleah, however, was gentle, efficient, and very skilled. I can’t remember the last time my hands looked so good! Thank you Kaleah and thank you Base Coat! Oh, and the space is super cute/chic - loved all the decor!

LOVE Basecoat! I go every 2 weeks for a gel mani/pedi. They are always so professional and friendly. The gel polish is amazing too, never chips or peels and is all natural.Try the cat eye colors (so fun!) And the lemon ginger tea is delightful. Fantastic nail salon right in Stanley Marketplace so you can shop before or after or just go grab a chocolate truffle at Miette when your done. The ultimate #selfcare day!

I will update again after the second service and let you know how it goes! Impressed with the customer service.6/28 - Disappointed with the service. I called ahead and specifically asked for a technician who was great at nail art (as advertised in their website). When I arrived and showed my Tech what I wanted she told me she couldnt do any thing even close. So I ended up with polkadots on my toes and curved lines on my fingers.I am SO disappointed, I rarely get my nails done and I was really looking forward to something special. Instead I got an average nail job for $100. Not cool Base Coat - not cool. (A day after my service one of my toes was chipped in the middle, and a week after my gelish nails have bubbled in a strange way.)I will say that my tech was Very sweet and pleasant to talk to just not what I paid for.
