I went in to remove my gel nails after two weeks of them being on. I scheduled an appointment and showed up on time. The staff member that attended me used the cuticle nail clippers to clip off my gel nail polish with barely any time with nail polish remover time in between. I was done after ten minutes and my nails were filed so much that I could bend my nail by tapping on a desk. I had asked the staff member if it was suppose to hurt and she replied no pain no gain.I wouldn’t get gel or acrylic here again.

Don’t even try to waste your time going in this place! Worse people i have communicated. Made me come back twice & not holding your spot! This is my first time writing a review ever.

My favorite nail salon in the area. They never disappoint and are always so kind and welcoming. Would highly recommend.

Literally worst service I have ever received. All I got was attitude and every time she hurt me she wouldn’t say sorry and they kept pressuring me to spend more money.I get my nails done pretty often and this time I got an acrylic gel and the color is matte white. I’ve been wanting this for a while and was really excited.When I stepped in they kept saying that if I get a gel then it will last longer and keep it looking nicer. It’s day 2 and there’s already a large chip in the side of my nails and a ton of air bubbles. I have a day job of sitting at a desk and typing on my computer.I am planning on going back to get it fixed but I will not pay for any damages seeing as they kept saying that the gel would make it last longer. Clearly their they did not do the best they could. I always get a gel when I do these types of nails and I’ve never had a problem like this occur.Not with the extra money.

Hours after I got my nails done they bubbled. I was only driving my car not even doing anything that would cause wear this fast. My diy nails with dollar store nails polish lasts longer.. I also have 3 places where I was bleeding from being nicked. They are super nice just not given quality equipment or proper training.

I’ve been loyal to my nail tech for over 8 years. After moving to Lake Tapps I decided to try a place closer to home. The first time was great and they got me right in. The second time I called to make an appointment for 4:15 (I usually make appointments whenever I need a service done because I foster and have 7 kids and I have to get a sitter). Well my sitter comes and I head to the shop and make it 2 minutes before my appointment time. I get there and all the women are pointing the finger at one another saying they didn’t take any calls for a 4:15 appointment. They then told me I called the wrong number and I couldn’t tell at the time because I called on my house phone. Once I got home I checked my call log and their number was there!!!! I was so mad because they weren’t even nice about it. 2 completely different experiences on two different occasions and I would have overlooked the confusion and went else where but it was the fact that they didn’t even care to try to correct the issue. I also hardly ever leave reviews but it’s been days and this situation still bothers me.....

Last minute appointment, first time at this Salon. Tram was excellent! I will be back. Everyone there was very professional & nice.

Pretty disappointed with my experience here. I probably won’t go back and won’t be recommending them to anyone. Brought my mom here to get our nails done for the holidays and had never been here before. I called days before and made an appointment for two regular manicures, when we got there we didn’t get seen right away which is not really a big deal because I know things get busy or backed up so we sat and waited our turn. When they could take one of us the woman asked my mom if she wanted shellac or regular and we both said regular, each, twice. Another woman on the other side of the place (who ended up doing my nails) yelled out that gel lasted longer and we should do that. I said “no, we just want regular”. So the woman doing my mom’s nails gave her a basket of colors to choose from and said “regular colors”. We both picked colors from here, neither of which said gel or shellac on them. My mom ended up with gel, even though we said regular more than once. I can’t attest to the way the lady doing her nails handled things because we weren’t seated next to each other, and they looked fine after, but two days later have started peeling. The woman doing my nails did not ever ask what shape I wanted, if I wanted them trimmed, or anything. She just filed them square and I could barely get a chance to ask her to file them a little more. She started doing gel even though I asked for regular. I usually get gel, and I let her finish because I didn’t care that much. But she did them very thin even after 2 coats and started applying top coat before I could ask for another layer.Overall I ended up paying A LOT more ($80) than I wanted or intended to. We weren’t listened to, or even asked our opinions on our nails. It also felt very dirty in there and I didn’t care for their customer service. The girl sitting next to me was having a lot of problems getting her tech to agree to a simple design on her nails and she also left frustrated.I won’t be going back to this place.

Love the staff...feels like family or close friends. They are so sweet to my 10 year old daughter and her cousins. Perfect nails done every time! I also was impressed with their waxing skills; quick and near painless. Will be a forever customer 😊

I have gotten my nails done and Safari for years. Recently it has been unsatisfactory. I went before Halloween and the design I asked for was a disaster. Then today I asked for a matte polish and it is neither matte now shiny just looks like a bad home job. I will be going to another salon from now on even though I like the family atmosphere it is just expensive too not be happy.

Great service . Will be returning. The atmosphere was very calm. My cell service with boost does go out when there, however it is nice to not have the distraction. I had gell nails and a pedi done.

They are so rude! They do not know what good service is. Not once did the lady smile. When she cut my toe during the pedicure she didnt even apologize. My pink and white nails are crooked and hideous. They overcharge you and keep trying to convince you to spend more money! Awful.

I am looking for a new salon, so I decided to give this place a try. The ladies working there were very rude and impolite. They booked too many appointments at the same time as me. I walked in on time and noticed they were busy and I offered to leave and come back but they insisted on me staying. I trusted her and stayed. I ended up waiting for 20 minutes! She should’ve just told me to come back when I offered!

I brought my 7 year old in to get her nails painted and the only ones in the entire salon were the employees painting their own nails. They turned us away stating they didn’t have time. My daughter was crushed. I will never try this salon again.

I went for the first time and will definitely be returning! I got the spa pedicure and was pleased with the service! Their prices are very reasonable, especially for the quality of service you receive. Another thing I like is the way the salon is set up. I personally like to be able to see everything thats going on and the pedicure chairs are located along the back wall so you can see the whole salon while sitting in them! The environment is warm and inviting as well as clean! I would recommend this place to friends and family.

The ladies are so friendly, always smiling and happy to welcome you. The shop is alway very clean. I dont wear polish on my finger nails for personal reasons and get the best manicures. Ever! Perfect nail shape, super clean cuticles and high shine buff! Great pedis too!!

Set a 5:15 appointment and arrived right on time, theres normally about a five minute wait or so which Im perfectly ok with, but this time after waiting for over 20 minutes I left, I normally enjoy this salon but am disappointed with my experience this time

Amazing one of the only places i trust to do acrylics... sometimes its hard to get in though but if you make an appointment its fine

WORST NAIL SHOP EVER! I don’t they know how to do pink and white powder. It looks awful. The service is terrible and the nail shop smells awful. High do NOT recommend!

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. They over charged me for $70 for acrylic when the price was $30 and didn’t give me a refund. My nails started to lift 15 hours later and had a lot of air bubbles ! Do not recommend! Horrible

Im going to Africa to help build houses. So when I was searching for building supplies I thought what a better place than Safari Nails?. Apparently they do not sell actual nails. Very confusing.

The employees are very friendly any he service is excellent. I know Im going to have a good manicure when I go.

I went in randomly for a pedicure, my feet were hurting me so i figured Id go somewhere close to home. i asked her to give me the best pedicure they have and it was $45 for a bath bomb in my water, her to exfoliate my legs and put a mask on them... i didnt get massaged at all. she painted my toes nice and i wanted a design but she didnt ask what i wanted and just painted a flower. not worth it. i spent $55 all together and regret it. lol too expensive for not feeling refreshed.

The lady in this place refused to tell my wife whether the instruments are sterilized or not. She didnt even show the instruments, but still tried to talk into scheduling an appointment. LOL. If youre risky enough to trust your nails for being handled with the same instruments used for someone elses nails -- go for it!
