When I arrived it was fairly busy but I was seated right down into a nail chair. I continued to wait about 40 minutes until a woman came and sat down and started asking me what I wanted. We both agreed on what was wanted. The nail setting and gluing was all fine. I wish the was more effort put into the nails after the acrylic was set. It was filed and buffed very little which made it very bumpy and uneven. After painting just made the bumps and unevenness worse. Just felt rushed after I was finally approached to get started. I was expecting to pay between 30-40$. Came out to 50$. They arent 50$ nails. Ill go elsewhere. Pretty bummed.

WORST NAIL PLACE EVER!I came here to get my nails done almost a week ago and they had an older lady do them that didnt look like she even wanted to be there. I asked for them to be done like the top photo in the screenshot shown below, and ended up leaving with them looking like they do in the other two pictures shown below. Tha lady literally burned me with her Dremel the whole time and didnt even care acted like it was my fault. Anyways, I ended up paying $45 dollars for nails that didnt look ANYTHING like what I asked for, and my finger tips BURNING for like 2 days. Highly do NOT recommend going there!!!!

Horrible dip manicure. See for yourself in the photo. And WAY more expensive than places I’ve been in Portland which do a much better job. The nails are uneven and jagged. Service was not great either. Was doing multiple customers nails at the same time as mine. Not impressed whatsoever.

I had good pedicure but it was a little awkward because the guy that did my feet was not even looking at them and turning his head but I think overall my toes came out okay. But my friend got her nails done here and they were misshapen, and the sides were a tad but uneven. It wasn’t the worst but I have seen some bad nail art from this place.

I really dont mean to write a bad review because I love Helen but I am a clients of Arts Nails but since my girlfriend does not like it there, I figured Id give Nail Trix another shot since Ive gone previously and was not satisfied with the results. When you get your nails done, it should NOT hurt, as you can see my nails are raw and bled a little during the scraping of the nails after placement. The Husband used a hard tool which I know at Arts, they use a softer tool at first before using the hard. I feel like it was rushed. It was crazy busy which I totally understand but my hands sting when I shower now. Some of the paint is not even on my entire nail and when he was shaping them, he shaped too much of the nail which you can see my actual nail. I am just not happy and this is why I dont come here anymore. There was no cleaning of the seats after each customer and as someone who had covid, i feel like it should of been more of a priority despite how busy it was.1 week 4 days later... MY NAILS ARE FALLING OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the only place I will go to have my nails done! The technicians are talented and courteous. The are also meticulous about cleanliness, and the results of my mani pedi always earn compliments for me!

Probably won’t be back. Incredibly busy with so many people crammed into a small space with absolutely no social distancing (not a biggie but worth mentioning). 3 of my nails have already chipped after only 4 days with a gel manicure. I work in an office setting so not out doing hard labor with my hands. The woman was very kind and it was only $30, but, get what you pay for.

Dont bother making an appointment. Youll wait at least an hour just to get put in a chair and another 30 minutes of waiting there. Then if you get a pedicure they will change the Color on you because they were too lazy to look for the color you did pick out. Dont worry. They will pick the color for. Even if its something you hate. Also they will paint the skin around your nails for good measure. I will never recommend this salon.

Im very disappointed in our manicures. First my little girls had manicures and I was charged $15 each when the sign said $10. I didnt say anything because they talked me into getting them gals saying it would last longerAs you can see from the pictures they peeled off the same day.And I just had a fill and it was the worst Ive ever had. My nails are uneven and she did a horrible job filing them.Im not one to complain but I will not go back there again.

LOVE LOVE my nails. They came out beautiful and lasted 3 weeks without chipping or falling off. Helen was extremely nice and talented! The salon is very clean! The employees are very nice and it is a very family oriented atmosphere. I would DEF recommend!

It depends on who you get. I love that there’s almost no wait, ever. Pedicures are almost always great. Be careful about the manicures though! The last two times I went my nails looked horrible and the guy cut my hands in 5 different places. Second time I ended up with the same guy and again, they look awful. He was impatient, unfriendly and in a hurry to the point where he was almost rude. I hadn’t even gotten my butt in the chair snd he was pulling at my hand to start. Still coat and purse on, not even able to sit down! No customer service skills with this guy. Not to mention he was on his cell phone constantly! I will go back but I will make sure to specifically ask for only certain people.

Lovely staff, high quality service, a bit pricier than the other salons in town, but I imagine thats because theyre located in the mall! Theyre my second choice if my go to salon is closed (nail trix stays open later than the other salons in town as well as being open on holidays when others chose to close, like today, the 4th of July!!)

I absolutely love this nail salon. The ambiance is fantastic and the nail art is amazing!! The staff is extremely talented and gracious. HELEN is fabulous and does a great job! She is now my go to girl. My nails never lift or crack and they grow super fast thanks to the good quality products they use. Salon is always clean and easily accessible with convenient parking. Prices reasonable for variety and quality of services rendered. Tony is an exceptional manicurist. His attention to details -- without rushing to accommodate more clients is appreciated. I can count on a professional gel manicure and pedicure that lasts without chipping for four weeks. Tonys gentle end discrete service is unusual and an asset to the salon. Would highly recommend appointment instead of walk-in service to ensure receiving service by desired manicurist.

My friends recommended this nail salon and this was my first time here and the service was great! The nail salon was clean, smelled nice, and I was offered a drink. The pedicure was very nice and relaxing. I come out this nail salon feeling satisfied they take their time to make sure they do a perfect job. I love my nails and the price was great.

I went in and although there was no wait, the workers were kind of rude to me. They were very aggressive about where I was supposed to sit. The guy that was doing my manicure pulled my hands towards him and was rough with my hands. He used a sander machine on my cuticles which cracked them and made my cuticles worse than before I went to the salon. I got a gel manicure and the guy doing my nails didn’t leave my hands under the dryer long enough to cure the nails so two days later all of the polish just peeled off. They weren’t the cleanest, just sprayed the tools with alcohol and called it good. I personally will not be going back to this place, I spent $25 dollars on a manicure that didn’t even last for two days. I wouldn’t recommend.

Never ever! Going to this place again. Went there with my friend to get my nails done For my boyfriend’s and I’s anniversary. First thing I’ll start off with is that the man cut me while doing them and I had a lot of blood. He proceeded to continue like nothing happened. Also he kept yanking my hand toward him even though I didn’t move at all. Then when he puts my hand under the light to dry my finger nails and it stung!! Which I’ve never had happen to me. Very scary. So he finished my nails and everything was all set. Two days later I find that there are bubbles underneath my fingernails, which was very concerning So he finished my nails and everything was all set. I go in, waited 25 minutes as he was about to start fixing them he tells me it’s $45!! How tf does that make sense if ALL of them have bubbles. So they start fighting about who did my nails before and make me wait another 25 minutes before she tells me I have to sit and wait longer or come back later! AFTER I’ve already been there for 50 min!! I up and walked out! Never going there again. Also they need to sanitize stuff because it was utterly disgusting. I don’t know who runs that place but it needs to be shot down!

Always get right in, NO waiting! Tony is wonderful, he will even pick my colors out for me if I ask him to! And I’m always happy when I leave. Prices are BEST around!

If I could give 0 stars I would.Normally go to Topsham or Brunswick, but my daughter wanted to go here.The guy that did mine was rude, aggressive and I ended up with a cut near my nail.He man handled and spoke at no point.I jerked my hand away because he hurt me and he gave me a disgusted look.I will not be going back. My daughter was just as taken back by her rude one as well.Maybe a bit of courtesy training maybe of value.

I just moved to the area and got my nails done at Nail Trix. I called ahead, and the service was great. I was able to walk into get a pedicure and a full SNS manicure with tips. Helen did my nails and they look amazing! The SNS is not thick like other places Ive been to in the area, and she really took her time with my nails. I like my nails almond, so I really appreciate her attention to detail. The salon itself is very clean and comfortable. All the tools are new, and the environment is very relaxing. A lot of choice in colors and a technician worked on my pedicure at the same time as another technician worked on my manicure, so I was out very quickly. The price was very reasonable. A great experience, I will be back!

Lisa is the BEST I moved to Auburn was charged a huge amount at a nearby salon, started going to another salon but nails broke time and time again. I was fortunate enough to have Lisa do my nails the first time I visited Nail Trix; and love the service, professionalism and friendliness. Never have been rushed and my nails are beautiful every time.

We love this place. The lady name Diana was very nice and knowledgeable. She did a great job and also very patient with us. We love the deluxe pedicure, massages was very pleasant and we love the shellac.

I was there for 10 minutes and then 15 in the chair alone. Then two other people came in and sat next to me. This was for a pedicure. Then another woman sat down. 2 of the other women were helped before I was. I asked why they were getting help before I was. Two of the employees ignored me. Dont waste your time or money.

I got the spa pedicure for .the tools were out of the package It was definitely worth coming.The time I went 12 noon it was steady......I got 10 minute massage and when done 3 minute back massage.........Customer service is key and they definitely are doing a great job....

Called ahead and made another appointment for a better time and Tony took me ASAP! My gels nails are still going strong after almost two weeks with no chipping! Went back and got a pedi too which was expensive but worth every penny. Definitely found my new nail salon!

Went in today with my little sister to get pedicures and the new dip nails. First off, my toes look horrible. They didn’t clean up the nail polish on my skin and on my pinky toes they aren’t fully painted. When we were getting the dip nails they made THREE of my fingers bleed and one of my sisters. My sisters nails actually came out not bad but mine look HORRIBLE. They look so chunky and are bubbling. They put too much powder on it. And didn’t clean it up. My fingers are swollen from them hurting them! NEVER go here!!! So disappointed!

I went to have my acrylics filled and shellac on my nails. The first time I had to go back because the guy put nail polish instead of shellac and put shellac on top of it. It started melting off almost immediately and I had to spend another hour getting them fixed. The next day I had to go back again because the shellac was peeling off. I spent another hour getting that fixed. I was not offered any kind of discount and when I asked for one the manager was extremely rude to me. I will never go back to this place and I do not recommend it to anyone.

Diana did such a fabulous job on my mani/pedi. Mind you I had done acrylic almond shaped nails at another nail salon but she was able to fill them and make them look absolutely perfect for the holidays! She pays such great attention to detail and helps you come up with funky ideas. I usually stick to typically colors but she made the experience so fun and so easy to step out of my comfort zone! Definitely going to be a loyal customer from here on out. Sticking with Diana! Shes fabulous!

Me and my mom have gone here 2 times and both were terrible. The 1st time we went we got our hands and feet done they cut some of my moms skin off. An my we very bad nails were all bumpy,so were my moms. The 2nd time we went we got our hands done. The were a hot mess. I got cut 4 or 5 times. My mom plad over 60 dollars, for both of us .Please do not spend your money here.

I really, really enjoy Nail Trix! Diana has been doing my nails and I couldnt be happier! Diana is so attentive and precise. I have no worries sitting in her chair. She does a gel mani and regular pedi. Thank you so much Diana for always making me feel great and doing such a wonderful job!

Enjoy my gel pedicures. Most of the time its Hit or miss. I enjoy my pedicures but sometimes the person doing them doesnt seem to want to. Or the water is cold. But the owner is always friendly and accomodating!

I should have listened to reviews, but I needed my nails done. The gentleman that did my nails made all of my cuticles bleed by grinding them instead of pushing them back and filed the sides of my finger instead of the nail. He filled my acrylics over what cuticles I had left causing my skin to ache and bleed even more. I don’t even know where to begin with the nail shape— bumpy and uneven.Two stars because it was quick and I like the color. Otherwise, garbage.

Horrible, they forgot I was waiting, I asked for a fill to match my pink and white ombre. They guy removed the acrylic and put new pink and white on, I asked for ombre. It looks horrible.

This place is not where I would recommend anyone to go!They use the dremmel too much on your fingers and it burns your nail which is very painful! The price ALWAYS seems to go up once they sit you down! Plus besides the fact that it is really hard to understand anyone who works here- they do not give you what you want! Not very sanitary. They dremmel away at your nail and sometimes it will cause you to bleed- yet Ive never once seen them clean their tools! Total sanitary concern!

I was so disappointed, grossed out and made to feel very uncomfortable.When I first went in I was greeted immediately and shown to the pedicure chair very quickly. (that is the one star, and because I had to give one) When the man was filling up my foot bath I told him it looked like something was in the water and he said, oh no no, nothing is in it, its clean Well it was NOT clean, someone elses two large toenails were floating in MY water! ugh...i really wanted to leave right then but he apologized, said he thought it was clean, He changed it and put in a new liner, ect....I attempted to proceed on, attempting to hold my stomach over the gross and unsanitary thing that just happened. Then The man was so pushy, trying to upsell and would not take no for an answer, and that is not the worse of it! The pedicure was super uncomfortable. He made direct eye contact and continued to stare at me while he was rubbing my feet asking me does it feel good? this went on what felt like the entire time, the intense eye contact the provocative talk, I wanted to get up and leave, I wish I had! At the end when i was drying my toes someone was smoking out behind the curtain and the smell was obvious. I was VERY uncomfortable!! I tried to pretend to watch tv and prayed for it to be over! I will NEVER NEVER go back !

By far, this is my favorite nail salon experience and they are always consistent with their level of skill and top notch service. Price point is a little above your average for a basic mani/pedi, but I guarantee this will not be abasic experience. Your pedi alone includes a very thorough & meticulous filing, shaping of your nail, and cuticle removal. Then, they remove all of the callous off your feet, give you a relaxing massage with warm lotion AND a hot stone, followed by a hot towel wrap. Besides all of this, the stand out part for me is their skill in shaping & painting your nail so perfect that you leave with the utmost satisfaction. The ladies here are all professional, kind, and caring. I love that they give you their expert tips and advice about nail care too. The higher price is well worth it for the level of quality service they provide. Their massage chairs with heat option is such a nice added bonus! Thank You Nail Trix!!

I brought myself and 2 friends to them yesterday, asked for a full acrylic set French tip.He used the grinder and then filed my nails with a very old nail file.Instead of cleaning my nails off he went right into gluing the tips and acrylic. He was using way too much acrylic and was holding my fingers down so the excess would just fall off. It was so liquidy. He had a pile of unused acrylic on the napkin by the end.When he got into filing and shaping them he used the motorized file again and made 4 of my fingers bleed. He wiped the blood off and tried to distract me so that I wouldnt see.Today one of my nails is already cracked by my cuticle and my fingers are very sore..The female next to me came in to get her set removed and I had to watch as the guy pulled out clippers and just started ripping them off. At one point he actually ripped her natural nail away from her nail bed and she started crying.After I asked how she was and she said the woman who did her manicure had to use nail glue to glue her nail down so she could paint it....Im never going back.

To me they don’t even deserve that one star.. I am not the happiest with my nails.. they didn’t take their time as they rushed through it just to get me out the door it seems.. It so was not worth my last $35!! There are some people there that know how to do the job but the ones that I had tonight didn’t know how so it seemed !!

They may not talk alot but then again I dont go there for conversation haha always a smile regardless who takes care of you.

03/24/19 Went in last night . Everyone was very nice, and I thought that my $50 gel nails looked good till I got home. She did not push the cuticles back only half drummled them off. The color I wanted was red with black tips instead it looks purple red with navy blue tips, they are pointed nails but are not straight. Also I wanted a faded tip and got just a straight line tip instead. The gel goes over my cuticle on most nails and allOf them do not cover to the edge of my nail including the polish. A couple of the nails look like they will be coming off in the next day or two and 3 if the nails polish has already chipped. Nails do not feel smooth they are bumpy and uneven. I have a $10 tip. For $60 I feel I could have gotten far better nails elsewhere.04/04/19Update: waited till now to go back so I could see if she would fill them and fix them for free since they arw so bad. Didn’t have time before now anyway to go back.Spoke with a gentleman who was doing someone else’s nails. I explained and he said toCome back Monday because Helen is notBack till Monday. I told him I can not wait to get them fixed they are falling off and I have to work with these horrible nails and I need them fixed today. He again said come back Monday! I told him I could not wait to get them fixed. He litaley while walking away from me says sorry you come back Monday no manager here now can not help and then proceedes to ignor me and go back to the person he was working on!Wow I just can not imagine running a business like this!So I’m going else where to get my nails fixed and I will be back Monday to get money back or something to rectify the situation! Craziness!

$45 dollars for bleeding nails, bubbly, uneven polish and terrible customer service... Not only did they paint my nails poorly, they used the wrong color. When I pointed it out, the man working told me it was my fault then got up and left the salon! I felt like crying the whole time.

As far as nail salons go.... this was has decent prices, but poor quality in the work. I have acrylics done every two weeks and these guys will never get my business again. The rushed and didnt care how my finished product turned out. They do not pay attention to their tools and have burned my mail beds before. In the end, my nails were rough and uneven, not to mention painful. This is a no go for me.

My regular nail salon was extremely busy, so I thought I would give this place a try. Lesson 24 hours later I had a broken now. I went in the next day to have it fixed and was utterly rushed, and they created that nail huge compared to my other nails. They decided to only put one coat of polish on as they were busy. As my nails have grown out just a bit because its only been a week, I can see just how choppy of a job they did. Its sad that I now have to go see my regular nail salon a week later to have my nails fixed. I guess that means I learned my lesson!

I went in for a mani and pedi. Gel nails. Man was rude. Took a long time for pedi. Cut my toe nails super short. When it was time to do my nails. He said do you want me to do your nails or go! Because I did not move fast enough from the chair to the nail table. Yelled at me .Go! Go! I do not like you. I believe his name was Chris. Owner came out to see why he was yelling. Older man started to do my nails then a lady took over. Nails were done good. Very bad customer service. I wanted to cry and run away.
