The nail tech wasn’t friendly and looked irritated to be there. They reuse nail files and buffers. They don’t sanitize their equipment in a machine, they spray and wipe it off. My cuticles were cut and bled. She didn’t even ask me how i wanted them filed and used a course emery board on natural nails. The massage was weak. The whole experience was not good. Disappointed as this is a convenient location for me.

So happy with my nails done by Kathy today!! She took her time and chatted with me! Excellent service and price!! I have found my new place!

First time using Royal Nails and it was a great experience. I needed a nail place closer to work in hopes I could get in & out in a timely manner. I was concerned when I called ahead of time and was told there were 2 people ahead of me and the best thing to do was to come in and wait. I took the chance and went. As soon as I walked in I picked out a color, was seated, and soaking my nails. I had the powder dip and it was a great experience. I will be returning.

I normally LOVE Royal Nails. Come here on very regular basis. Today I am very disappointed!!! I got a gel pedicure. I was never asked which pedicure I wanted. The lady cut my toe. Then she never messaged my legs or feet. When I said something about it they said oh well she rubs lotion on your feet while your feet is in the water. Excuse me! How do you properly massage someone’s feet with lotion while they are in water??? I also said something to the manager and she brushed me off. Will not be going back.

This was my first time visiting this salon. I received great service and Joe did an amazing job on my nails. He was very helpful with matching the colors I wanted. I also enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere with the soft music playing. Everyone also did a great job with sanitizing. Each station was cleaned after each customer. I will be returning!!

Very difficult to get an appointment with the same technician. Call 2-3 days ahead always booked. They need to work on lines other than come back in a couple of hours with no guarantee you’ll be seen then.

I’ve been going to this nail place for awhile. The service is amazing and I always love my nails after I’m done. However, today while I was in there a nail tech and her customer were talking and laughing at me as I was going to sit down for my service. My nail tech was so sweet and did a very good job, I wish I could remember her name. Anyway the service is great, but I may not go back there anymore if the nail techs there keep talking about customers like that. Very unprofessional.

I got my nails done this past Saturday, should have manicure with gel nail polish over my natural nail, my nails weren’t filed prior to application, cuticle were removed, my hands weren’t soaked, polish didn’t cover my entire nail, o had a different tech this time! So not satisfied, I want do over!

This is the first nail salon where I have felt comfortable. Even when it’s busy, it is calmer and quieter than most. I’m in my 60’s with uglyfingers and toes but I always leave Royal Nails feeling prettier. The technicians listen to what I want and offer good suggestions when I ask for help.

Came in on a busy Saturday morning for a gel manicure. While doing my manicure, the nail technician was kind enough to explain the dip nails to me, so I got those instead and love them!Even on this super busy morning only 30 minutes after their opening time, I had no wait and both nail technicians did great work on my nails, and they were very pleasant. Will definitely return!

This was actually my first experience with getting my nails done and I absolutely loved it. I’m not sure what the man’s name was who did my nails, but he did an amazing job. I asked for a French fade and it looked almost exactly like the picture I showed him once it was finished. He was very precise and made sure it was exactly what I wanted before I left. I would definitely recommend going here.

Absolutely loved my first time experience at Royal Nails & Spa!! Service was incredible, atmosphere was delightful and I’m so happy with my results. I got a dip powder mani and regulars pedi. My appointment wasn’t over before closing hours but I never once felt like I was rushed or not taken care of properly. Can’t wait to go back in a couple weeks for my next appointment!!

The place was nice. I do appreciate the service. The scores was an 80 and I should have walked out the door but we gave them a chance. My friend nails was not done right and my other friend feet doesn’t look the best but we do appreciate the good environment and service but not the end result.

11/26: I had appointment at one oclock. They put me in the water and said my person was just finishing up with a client. After at least 10 minutes she was still several steps from finishing. They were prepared to let me wait in the water for 30 minutes! I asked for someone else after about 10-12 minutes and it was a mediocre pedicure at best. 1. they did not keep the appointment even though they started another customer at my appointed time. 2. the owner lied to my face twice. 3. they have a careless disregard for their customers.Really? What is your side??

I’ve been here a hand full of times and each time has been great! After my awesome experience today though I felt like I should leave a review. I got the dip power about two weeks ago but needed to come in for repair on one nail, Nina did an great job! When I got in line to pay she insisted that I not pay for anything she did today. I was very surprised and will absolutely come back and ask for Nina! New fav place!!

Everything seemed clean and we had zero wait. The lady with my young daughter seemed very sweet and showed her so much respect with her choices without being pushy. It was a bit pricey for everything but I think that is probably the going rate. Definitely worth it.

They do a great job on dipped nails. I highly recommend Catherine. She gave me the most perfect manicure I’ve ever had today.

This was my first experience and knew nothing about acrylic nails, which I informed them at the beginning. The lady who did my nails was rude. As I didnt know the process, I didnt say anything. The final result was disappointing. The finsihing was bad and nails are crooked. Nail paint was on my skin and around my nails. I have always got good reviews about this place. But this experience was disappointing.

Today was my second visit to Royal Nails. The manager Kathy was great. Another technician did my nails, a gel manicure, and I wasn’t happy with the initial polish and correction. I wasn’t being picky, but I knew my nails were going to peel within a week if I let it go. Kathy was super respectful and offered wonderful customer service to correct the situation. Happy with the results!

I’ve always enjoyed the customer service at this location. However, I wasn’t pleased with my nails on my last visit. I called to let the manager (Kathy) know that I wasn’t pleased. She offered to give me my money back. I am rating the services as a one star because of her attitude. She took the matter personal. She was very angry with me because I didn’t like my nails (her work). When in fact, I should’ve been angry with her but, I wasn’t. I expected Kathy to handle the matter professionally.

I have been using this salon for close to a year and have always been very pleased with their work and staff.I went in today and they were very busy, so I expected a wait, however I was asked what service I was there for, I said an acrylic fill, then a few minutes later the same person asked me if my name was “Nancy “, I said no. Then she took a girl who had come in 20 minutes after me. I left after waiting 45 minutes.It was disappointing to be a customer for quite a while and be ignored .

So this is a mixed review. Let me start by saying the end result was really beautiful. I picked a cherry red SNS color and I was absolutely shocked that they were flawless at the end because the customer service was awful. The older lady that did my nails was not friendly at all and kept jerking my hands around telling me to “relax my hands!” Which was truly bizarre. After she told me that about 4 times she looked at me and said “are you TIRED?!” I was speechless! I just said “no?” But again, whatever, my nails were even and lasted a full 2.5 weeks so...sigh, I’ll probably return. Why isn’t their a good nail salon in Auburn?!

I had high hopes for this place based on all of the positive reviews but this is the only salon that I have been to that I actually got up from the pedi bowl and walked out! A girlfriend and I walked in on a mid-morning weekday and were told to have a seat at the bowl. They filled the bowl and walked away telling us that someone would be with us shortly. We were left there for 25 minutes with not one person coming over to give us an update or ask us how we were. Not the kind of customer service I am looking for in a salon.

Overall I have had a good experience I think they are just short staffed but my last visit is a little unsettling. The lady scrubbed my feet with the hard sponge cleaned it and proceeded to put it back in her box. I’m pretty sure they are reusing instruments as the file used looked like it had already been used before she used it on me.

Seems like the most genuine place in Auburn. The I understand this is more a college town so other places seem to be cheap but do a terrible job. The staff was great and really enjoyed talking to them.

I asked that my big toes be filled with acrylic. I waited an extra 45 minutes after my pedicure, and finally just told the one technician to paint them, I couldn’t wait any longer. The next day, the nail polish began peeling off my toenails.This was the first time I’ve tried Dip Nails. I’m not sure how the finish should look, but this is a dull finish with groves running horizontal in the middle of my nail. These girls are not professionals! The are CLUELESS! Three hours is a waste of time to spend at a nail salon and leave dissatisfied!

The best pedicure ever

I stopped by to get a manicure and the dip for my nails. I was seated immediately, but from her starting my nails, to finish, was 2 1/2 hours long. She jumped customer to customer instead of finishing before she moved along to the next. Three different people worked on my nails while my first lady jumped around to different customers. It would be a lot better experience if you stop, and listen to the customers wants, and finish with that one customer. My nails look ok-ish. Not as smooth and lots of ridges, not all squared (some are still rounded) but the paint seems okay.**My sister came with me as well, she has been working on her nails for three hours. Just a simple dip manicure. No crazy designs. One color. THREE HOURS LATER. Lady messed her nails up the first time, so had to redo them...absolutely terrible experience.**

I say the services was done and complete so I would have to charge you a fees. You say ok nvm n left!!**Call me back saying you still don’t like your color and going to come back in to get it redone. Ok fine** after Valentine day call me back again and complaint I did a bad job and want your money back. I agree, told you to come in** I did NOT talk to you when you come in!!! Nina check your nails and soak your nails off! And we give you a refund** you went above and beyond telling us you want a CASH REFUND and we told you it wasn’t happening. What you pay with is what you will be refund in. You were not happy and left!!! 🙅🙅

I went to this shop for the first time and the young technician was so utterly rude and disrespectful to someone old enough to be her Mother, that I left without anything done to my nails. I will never go back there again. It was truly breathtaking!

This is the best place for pedicures.

I was overcharged for my pedicure with regular polish, no gel... I asked for the $25 pedicure and when it was time to pay they charged me $40.

Very niceDid have to wait about half hour for my pedicure so water was not as warm by the time I was waited on. The prices were reasonable and had lots of options.

My friend and I went to this place, and the lady (younger) was a witch to my friend! Continuously yelled at her to relax her hands, took a lunch break in the middle of her pedicure, complained about the shape she wanted because it was so much work, and told me she was so much trouble. I am not sure where the lack of human decency was created here, but this is not acceptable customer service and we will NOT be going back.

This is my first time coming to this location. Very professional and friendly customer service. Amid the Covid-19 pandemic and reopening I was looking for a place since my regulars were not open and my eyebrows were in need of a wax . They were the first to answer.

I dont normally go to royal nails but recently I did because it was closer to home and I have been there before and they did a pretty decent job. This past visit was not so great. I went in to get dip powder & Im normally not the type to complain but the first lady I had did not even glue the tip to my nail all the way down & the nail was bigger than my nail bed. You can just see where the tip just wanted to come off my nail. I asked if she could just take off the tips and Id pay them for taking off the dip powder and someone else came over and looked at my nails and asked if she wanted me to do them & I responded yes. Another lady started doing my nails and she did okay but she did not drill over my whole nail after it was dipped she only drilled around my cuticle. I get my nails done all the time so Im used to the nail tech drilling the entire nail after it has been dipped, some of the side of my nails just looks high . She then had me sit and wait for 3 minutes for it to dry. Nobody gave me any cuticle oil, when I left I had dry flakes from the dried dip powder from soaking my nails off everywhere on my hands, & had clumps of dried glue under a couple of my nails .I just felt very uncomfortable and that they were just trying to rush me out.
