I found this nail salon over 2 years ago and now will never go anywhere else. They always make my nails look amazing. The creativity and care of the staff is evident, I love that I can bring my ideas and pictures in and the end result never disappoints.This is todays set and Kim definitely outdid herself, thank you!

This is definitely the BEST nail salon I have ever been to, not only is the place super huge and clean, the staff are super nice too! They have the best pedicures ever which are super relaxing, calming and peaceful. The products they use are super healthy and professional. Whenever I come to the nail salon, Danny and Kim, they owners, are there ready to greet me and ready for whatever I request. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone reading this. 10/10.

I got this design today 5/14 and have already had 2 bufferfly’s fall off. During my visit me and my friend decided to try a new salon and went to Universal Nels and Auburn the pedicure was good but after we got a fill and proceeded to pay they changed the price and the service turned from great to horrible do not recommend not worth 90$

Would give 4 stars, but the lady greeting you could have a nicer attitude. She rushes you to pick a color and ignores what you say.The place is very fancy, big, seems clean, has music playing in the background, ac/heating, new equipment, and great lighting. They use a check in kiosk system with phone number to acquire points. Walks in welcome; I never make an appointment and they tend to me within 1-10 minutes. Overall, a cute and relaxing nail place.Shellac full set goes for $45

I had a pedicure and full set. The pedicure was fine. The acrylic nails turned out good but the nail tech was Very rough. He was not gentle with the electric or regular nail file and I was flinching and almost pulling my hand away the whole time. The nails came out good but getting there was horrible. I would go again for pedicure but nothing with my hands and only because they were so rough.

I have been going to this nail salon for 2 years now and they ALWAYS do such an amazing job . The place is always so clean and the price is such a good deal! Kim my girl is always my go to. She never disappoints! 😃

This place is a little more then Im used to spending BUT worth it! I got a Mani, Peti and I feel great! Mimi made sure I left happy she did a fabulous job and was so sweet, bonus she gives amazing massages too! Thanks Mimi for the very relaxing visit!!!

I love Universal Nails so very much! Ive been going here for a year now and they never fail to make a nails beautiful. Their pedicures are also soo soothing and relaxing and makes you feel as if youre in heaven. I will never replace this place with anywhere else! I speak from experience, this is the best place ever.

Amazing job I did powdered ombre and she killed it! By the way I know the picture does not show how amazing it is because its been over a week and I just took it to show you all. But Im telling you everytime someone sees my nails they love it!

Excellent work. Little bit of a wait, but only because they were crazy busy—and for 3:30pm on a Sunday, thats kind of on me. Staff is friendly, and the place is huge! They must have 20 massage chairs, maybe more. Highly recommend this place.

This place was rated high so I went. I showed a picture of what I wanted. This is a common nail color and my nails turned out nothing like the pictures. Also she cut me twice and the kicker was she reused the gloves from someone else. They had holes and then she touched my blood. When I was leaving she kept them again. Won’t return.

Not my regular nail spot but I’m def not going back. I got a full set and the station I got my nails done looks like it has never seen a clorox wipe or any cleaning product. The light stand had build up of hardened acrylic sand, lots of collective dust, and removed acrylic nails under the station. Which was disappointing cause it’s very beautiful inside. Beside the cleanliness, I didn’t like how my nails were shaped and one is crooked. 2 stars cause the ladies were friendly.

Worst acrylic fill of my life. After only 3 days, 4 different nails had broken. Giving 2 stars as I got an awesome pedicure there and I think some of the girls might be really good, but the guy that did my nails was awful. They were extremely thin and after getting one fixed, I final had to eventually go elsewhere to get them completely re-done. Very frustrating how bad the quality was.

I have had only good experiences here. My dip powder nails alway a turn out good. The place is always clean.

I asked for the most expensive pedicure and yet I don’t get the right cleaning on my toes. She only spent less than 15 minutes on cleaning on my toes and the lady next time got the cheapest services on pedicure and yet she still had the best cleaning compared to mines. The owners know me because one of my friends work for them as a receptionist. Errr

I just left this establishment today I was told there was a 45 minute wait which I went and sat in front of the building for 20 minutes of that watching them continuously take customers I happen to be the only person of color and the establish mats which it made me feel as if they fill I am not a customer like everyone else that I am a relevant and told me I needed to come back in another hour and a half I spend my money just like any other American they are nothing but white people in this establishment myself as a black woman being turned away As people continuously come into the building to receive service unfair and I will never revisit again

After asking that the corners of my finger nails be rounded she made the tips round and pointy. I got shellac on my toes and she didnt put the uv light on them at all. Now 30 minutes later, 3 toes are messed up and I leave on vacation in the morning. Very nice ladies. Wont be back.

2.5 hours for a mani and pedi. Nails were chipped and cracked the next day and very sore. The technician kept wondering off talking to other people, on her phone... I definitely wont be coming back

Horrible customer service! I had dip powder nails done yesterday and today 4 nails just came off. I went back to the salon and spoke to the manager and he said they’re all booked and can’t fix anything. I told him to give me money back then and I would go somewhere else because I didn’t want them to do my nails after this kind of service. The manager said according to their policy, he can’t return my money back. I asked him to show me the policy and he said he can’t. Very disaapointed. I won’t be coming back here again and will tell all my friends to stay away! Also, my daughter came with me to get her nails done and the lady doing her nails kept answering calls and would walk away for a long time. Worst customer service I’ve had!

I made an appointment for three, my sister, best friend and I for pedicures and 2 sets of acrylics. It was for 2:45 however we didn’t sit till 3:20 and no one actually started our pedicure till 4. And even then they only started on my friend, I didn’t get started till 4:15 ish. Pedicures were fine and the lady was sweet. I went to get my full set done, and I told the lady that was doing it that I wanted length. And she said my nails were already somewhat long so it’s better if I just kept that and put nail polish. At this point I was already late for my other stuff so I said okay. She shaped my nails, BUT PROCEEDED TO PUT ACRYLIC ON. That’s where miscommunication was, if I was getting acrylics, I would’ve definitely added a tip to lengthen my nails. But she recommended not and nail Polish only. So why is there acrylics on my nails. My sister also got acrylics, she got the tip on hers as she wanted, both of our nails were the same price. So my lady clearly did not want to take the extra step to give me the nails I wanted. I paid almost $300 for all three of us and I’m sad I didn’t get what I wanted. I will call to see if they will fix it. We will see...

I brought my 84 year old grandma to get a mani pedi. The workers were excellent! They spent a long time massaging her arms, legs, and even her back! I was so happy! It meant so much to me that they showed her so much attention and really went the extra mile.

The facility is nice. The amount for a mani/pedi gel polish should include the mani and great looking nails. Im not impressed at all with my nails. The gal who provided the service had wisdom but the service she provided that day was such that, if I go back, I will make sure it isnt her unfortunately.

I always go to my same person lee she is amazing and professional I show her a picture so what look we are going for and tell her now you can create it how you want too and she always goes above and beyond! She’s is an amazing person Inside and out.

I had a pedicure done, I made sure to ask before starting the cost. I was told $35 for the 3rd best quality. I was told $35. The lady jabbed at my nails making me jerk back several times, she literally burned my leg with a boiling hot towel. The nail color was supposed to be shellac and it smeared all over. It was not shellac at all. The final straw was they tried to charge me $60!!! I put up a fuss and she finally lowered it to $35. I will NEVER EVER GO THERE AGAIN! MY 5 year old granddaughter could have done better.

I love this salon! I made the mistake of trying a salon closer to my house, but ended up going to see Kim then next day and she fixed the acrylics & did an amazing job! HIGHLY recommend you get your nails done here. The staff is all so friendly! It is worth the extra drive to see them, but book an appointment ahead of time if you are getting more than just a pedicure. They are loved by many!!

This was my first time at this salon. The man doing my nails was rushing and doing them so quickly that he dipped my finger in the wrong dip powder. Had to re-do them. At the end for some reason my nails weren’t drying. I was accused of washing my hands with soap even though I told them repeatedly I only used water. And then they tried to accuse me of not leaving my nails under the light long enough. I left my nails under the light for as long and the man told me to. He also cut my cuticles resulting in blood because he was buffing and filing so rough. I won’t be back.

I am very disappointed with quality of my nails in 3 weeks Ive been back here 3 times.My first set the gel paint chipped and peeled off 4 nails, with no nail breakage. I called them to come back and redo them and was told to come in. I was charged $55.00 for first set and at this point I expected them to repair with no charge. However, I was charged another 35.00 for this fix. The next set lasted a whole 4 days before one started chipping and broke up high so once again. I went back to get the repair and at this point was told I needed new all new tips or they would keep breaking...so im seriously getting frustrated but have the new tips done and was charged once again $40.00 this time! My nails are not all the same length either I will not be going back and would not recommend to anyone! They use inferior products and do not stand behind the products that they sell. Buyers beware of this place. Im not even sure if it is true gel paint. In all my years of having my nails done, I have never had such bad service

Love this place. Almost every nail design I bring to Kim, she could do! During Covid, you must make an appointment. They are complying with all the CDC guidelines. The service is always excellent and I feel safe getting my nails done there!!

Walk ins available but I’ve seen them turn people away due to capacity restrictions. You walk in with your mask. You sign in on the computer. You pick your colors that is behind the check-in counter. They offerer bottle water, usually. They are pleasant and accommodating. The only gripe I had was the technician would stop and answer the phone while there are other individuals available. If you want attentiveness I would ask for someone not manning the phones.

I always get my nails done at home at USA nails. But I was out of town and needed to have them fo done. The job that the lady did was so horrible I had to paint them to hide how thin they are. She also told me it would be 33.00 dollars for entire set then after starting them said she would have to charge me 5.00 more because I wanted them long and not short. Then asked if I wanted the coating polish they put on normally after to make them shiney for another 5.00. The place I normally go does all that for the same price..by the time i left it cost me 60.00.

All the gals here are so sweet and will go the extra mile for you! Mimi is my go to girl, but they all do great work!

Don’t rate them OR put your information in...UNTIL they prove what they can do!!! There’s ONE lady who watches each person and she knows EVERY PERSON! I watched a lady sit there for two hours not to mention this lady was like 60 years old just trying to get her own manicure done and was very irritated because this lady won’t get up and down say hello to everybody to make sure she knows every single face that comes in that she also kept telling me I had to sign in..MUST SIGN IN, IT GIVE GOOD BENEFITS...just to have my shot break real fast!

Came in here with my friend the other day. The staff gave us hand sanitizer right away and asked us to sign up and check in. They have prices on their website which is super helpful. They showed us the section for gel nail polish/shellac which they have a big variety of colors.The workers were very quick with our nails. There is a pexiglass shield separating between us which I appreciate their precautions. My friend was able to get a cushion, but I did not receive one.This nail salon is very cool as well, their UV light for gel nail is right under the table. I have never seen a place do that before!My friend and I spent maybe less than 30 minutes there. My nails are very cute, very cleaned up. I will definitely recommend people to come to this location!

The new location is super pretty and nice! It lacks the family owned atmosphere their last place had but it is very professional. My 5 star review is for the man who did my pedicure today. He was very friendly and did an amazing job, great attention to detail, great massage and he spent extra time on the massage which is always nice! I dont remember his name but he was in his late 40s and it was not Danny the owner.

The woman that did my nails was very sweet.Made sure I liked the length before continuing. Took her time and perfection was achieved.

Just had a fabulous mani/pedi. The nail techs here are always very nice. My shellac nail polish looks great and lasts a long time.

Took my 9 yr old daughter for date day. Wasnt a bad experience but I feel like they could have done better on my daughters. She had a long wait and then we were separated.

The nail techs are very nice, but this is the third manicure in a row that was either chipping a few days later (and I get gel) or uneven. I dont have time to get repairs every time I get my nails done. Its close to me, but Im going to make the drive to a new salon

I love this salon, have been a customer since 2009. They are always so friendly & Kim is the best!! Be sure to make an appointment if you will be on a time schedule, otherwise they do their very best when they are busy. Now they are in a much larger space with 3x as many pedi chairs & nail stations.

This is my 3rd time coming here and working with the same lady. The other 2 times were a good experience and work quality. However this 3rd time was bad. I made an appointment and 25 minutes into getting my fill(nails) done she stops; tells me to please wait and does another persons feet. This was obviously frustrating because I made an appointment and had other things to do.

Stopped in today because I’m new to auburn. Walked in immediately impressed by the cleanliness. I smelled no nail polish/remover in the air and was acknowledged right away and asked to sign in. Very little wait time. Mia paid close attention to what I wanted and chatted with me the whole time. Very pleasant experience planning to go back and bring friends and family.

Hands down the best nail shop I’ve been to in a long time. Kim is amazing! Super sweet and professional. If there is a problem or you’re not 100% satisfied when you leave, she will fix It right away. The customer service is the best i have seen in any nail salon. Kim cares so much about the customer experience. They offer nail, wax and spa facials. The salon is very clean and they have a variety of colors( gel and Powder) I would definitely recommend coming here. Their prices and fair and the location is convenient.

Worst nail salon experience I have ever had! This place does not even deserve this single star. Their failures began with a lack of being greeted. They seem to not know that greeting a client is necessary. I was seated. The woman (Kim) who did my nails fails to comprehend nail shapes. She flattened my nails completely and subsequently added ugly french lines. She focused on selling extras while working on my nails. There was no pleasant banter. Three workers sat around me chatting in their language and laughing very loudly. I cannot stand the type of place that does not understand customer service basics. Hopefully they take this review as a learning experience and increase their training. I will never go back to this place though.

On their webpage says that they charge you for 25 dollars. And they charge me for 40 just because they do a full set and they use nail polish. Like What?

I went today for a full set of nails and the truth was, it was horrible I have a lot of acrylic under my nails and it hurts to be taking off, glue all over the nails 😡 definitely bad service.

This place is amazing! My daughter and two of her friends got their nails done for homecoming. My daughter had her nails done by Cathy. Although the ladies who did the other two girls nails were awesome! I highly recommend Cathy! She was wonderful with my daughter. She took extra time to make sure the nails were even and smooth. The ladies that helped us stayed late (more than a half hour) to make sure the nails were perfect. My girl is so happy! Thank you.

They do a good job, the place is nice but its quite boring to sit and wait while your nails are being done. They do not really converse with you other than to say hello and find out what you need. And its a little alienating to have them all speak different languages to each other while you have to watch their infomercials. But again, they do a good job and the price isnt too bad.

I have been going to Universal Nails for 15+ years. Adore the owners Danny and Kim and the others who work there. I’ve never had a bad experience, always excellent work whether my nails or pedicure. Extremely friendly and fun people. They always want to know that your leaving satisfiedI moved to Puyallup, but still drive to Universal Nails, would never consider anywhere else.

I came here to try out a new nail salon closer to my work and saw many good reviews online. However I was really disappointed in my experience here. Cindy saw me and spent the first half of my appointment going on and on about the shape of my nails (I prefer stiletto nails) and how they they took a lot of work. I said sorry over and over but its how I like my nails. She also kept burning the natural bed of my nails and the surrounding skin and cuticles. I kept saying it burned and she kept giving excuses and readjusting my fingers because I kept pulling away and moving my fingers to adjust and get away. She never asked me anything about myself, my name, my work she just kept humming and paying attention to everyone around her. Finally at the end when she was painting my nails, she started picking at my pinky nail and pulled on what she thought was extra product but it was actually a beginning hangnail and she pulled it until it started bleeding. I instantly jumped and told her it hurt really bad and it instantly brought tears to my eyes. She squeezed my finger and apologized saying she was trying to get rid of my hang nail. She then quickly finished applying my polish and being extra nice to me asking me all about my job, my name and finally introduced herself (at the end of my service, I was Honey up until then) . All because I was sitting there with tears in my eyes. It was really horrible. Im not happy at all and will not be going back.

Ask for Sophia shes fairly new but amazing nails hold up for 3 weeks and Im tough on them.

Today my daughter and her boyfriend came in . She got a fill and he got a manicure. They both got a less then desired job. His nails look like theres dirt under the . Cuticles ragged..and her nails are all different lengths. Then..yet again, she is faced with a nail tech not happy with the amount of the tip. This is the second time this has been an issue. I guess tips are more important then quality work. I will not be returning.

Ive gone here several times (and tip very well) but wanted to test out after reading someone elses recent experience. You get treated wonderfully if you go here dressed, makeup done etc. Today I wore old jeans, holey sweatshirt and no makeup. I asked how long of a wait (there were 3 people waiting). After Danny looked me up and down, he responded way too long, over an hour. I left and wont be going back!

I have been going here for years and I love it. Prices are decent and I love all the options they have. Tracey is the best!

Im not a happy lady I went in and had a nice pedicure but they didnt put the right color flower on then was rough during the fill color didnt match toes and it cost me a lot but worst of all ive lost 3 nails already

72 $ for 2 gel manicure . Not bad service after all, but the tips of my French manicure are bumpy respect the rest of my nails. I liked the fact that you can pay with card instead of Cash only like in others nail salons. Maybe I will go back!

It was by far the worst experience of my life. I’ve gone to this place several times and always had a good time. I’m not sure if it was because the way I was dressed or not but I will never return. I have on workout clothes and a baseball cap. There was a guy that did my pedicure that barely wanted to touch me. Im not sure if it was be because I’m African American or what. I got up in the middle of my pedicure and left and the owner still charged me. My toes are not painted or anything. I’m so andry right now.

My daughter got her nails done and she went home and one was coming off and color was coming off. I brought her in the next day and they fixed it for free no issues. They were very friendly.

This has become my regular nail salon since we moved here two years ago. I go in every 2 or 3 weeks. My nails always look great, no matter which employee does them. The employees are very friendly and efficient, two things I look for in a salon. Highly recommend this place!

They do a decent job, when you come in they are often busy these ladies are good but not the best. Though scheduling appointments is basically useless your never seen on time EVER, well rarely. Kim and Cindy are the best at acrylic nails and the older and chunkier ladies do get the best. Pls dont get offended by me saying chunky .. Im a big girl!

The staff are super friendly. but... when i left the salon i was taking a picture of my nails and they didn’t add my nail polish right. they missed the sides of my nails and also got it on the skin of my nails. other than that, they have pretty nail polish colors :) i would recommend this place but just make sure you check your nails !!
