This place is top notch. My boyfriend brought my car in due to issues with the brakes. They gave us a more than fair estimate for new brake pads and rotors. In addition to the brakes they let us know there was a crack in the coolant tank. Less than a month prior we had taken the car to Get Bent (also in Auburn) and we were told there was nothing wrong at all even though the car had drained an entire bottle of coolant in less than 2 days. I have never been so happy all around with any automotive service. Brian’s offers great prices, thoroughness, and promptness. We will only be coming here for future repairs and maintenance.

I got a headlight replaced that had electrical issues. They let me know my brakes sounded like they needed replaced and asked if I wanted them looked at. I was aware of it but what happy to know they paid attention to something like that. Friendly people and got the work done as quickly as they could which was definitely appreciated since I only have one vehicle.

Had my 2006 ford f 150 fixed there. They did a very good job.......they fixed all the problems that one of their competitors made . If you are having any mechanical or electrical issues with a vehicle take it there they will get to the bottom of it and it will be done right and they will get it fixed

Not impressed at all with work and service,2006 mercury took our own alternator Purchase new from Rock auto s had them replace in the car costing $169, service guy did not check electrical system after he was done replacing, the alternator went out again, so we thought we had to purchase another alternator, in service of any parts in a car you check your own work, when I asked him why he didnt check the service of his wrenching, he said you just wanted the alternator put on, i said but how do u know your work was right if u didnt check it?I think he was upset we had our own alternator, less for not checking their own work, a, month later car is doing the same thing if the electrical service was checked we would have known what the problem was,in placing new alternator on gin mechanic found bare wire from first replacement, all in all it was a short after 600. later

Been in Auburn area for 2 years. I always hate finding a new mechanic. Its tough finding someone competent, fair, and honest. We went to two other places before landing at Brians. They have always been extremely fair, extremely honest, and have resolved our issues. I also love that when they give me an estimate, the final bill is always less than the estimate. At other mechanics, if the estimate is $250, my bill is usually $255 - 275. At Brians, if the estimate is $250, the final bill is usually $200 - 215. Today my estimate was $850 and my bill was $747. Leo (I think) is the face up front and is friendly and professional. I actually like this auto shop.

I was working overnights in Auburn Indiana, when i got off work i noticed that my passanger head light was out. I called Brians in the morning because it was the closest to my hotel. I took my car in around 1pm, first i was told it would be $65.00 to replace my headlight bulb. I ask why so much, i was told it would take and hour and that they would have to pull the tire. I knew how to change the bulb and you dont have to pull the tire and it dosnt take an hour. I would of changed it myself but the weather was cold and nasty and i was staying in a hotel. In the end the connection was loose so all the mechanic did was plug the bulb back in, it took 5 -10 minutes tops. I got charged $ 20.00, i think that was a little ridiculous. I know they are in the business to make money but $ 20.00 to plug in a head light bulb.

Had one of my vehicles taken here after the brakes started acting up and it took them a week to do anything and the charged me an insane amount (about $1200) to fix something that wasnt even the problem. On my way home from picking it up it started doing the same thing so I took it right back and they eventually got it fixed. They charge way to much and I dont even trust that they will be fixing the right thing any more. I would advise anyone not to take their vehicles here.

Had my 2002 Trailblazer in for a waterpump. Upon getting it back i observed (green) standard antifreeze and not Dex Cool (red) per GM. It even says Dex Cool on the resevoir cap. Dissappointed considering i spent almost 400 bucks and live all the way in Huntington. Could cause sludge buildup and cause my engine to overheat. Now i have to flush the entire system and buy enough Dex Cool to replace it.
