I would NOT recommend this place at all. I received SNS & asked for a coffin shape. First, I can’t tell if these are coffin or rounded. Second, it’s only been 2 days since getting this poorly done SNS. Third, the job was done horrifically, I mean look at the pics. The SNS is entirely to thick and none of the nails are shaped the same on either hand. My thumbs are literally two different shapes. The tech I had also cut too much off of the corners of the tips which exposes my real nail. I’ve never had a worse SNS in my life lol even after I voiced my concerns and clearly expressed how unsatisfied I was, nothing was done. They handled it completely unprofessionally. The pedicure was done nicely. Only good thing I can say.
I found out another location opened and I was called to write a review Ive been putting off.I had been going to this spot religiously supporting since they opened, I tip very well, and I just enjoy the girls that work there.Over time I noticed service declined, they struggled with basic designs, etc. no problem, I just forgave it thinking they are new and will get better.I went in with a friend of mine, a bride who had been growing out her nails for some time. The owner Linda herself took care of us and cut my friends nails so unevenly, and when we said something, she said it was due to the unevenness of my friends finger nail bed? Both of us have gotten dozens of manicures in our life and never have I ever heard this. The kicker? I came back a couple weeks later by myself and was literally asked to leave because my friend and I were rude in asking her to fix her nail. Talk about unprofessional and petty.Havent been back in 3 years. Im shocked that the owner Linda is still in business. She clearly runs from a point of ego rather than service.
This place was pretty great! In terms of covid safety they definitely are pretty safe. The prices are relatively reasonable for Atlanta. They did a great job on my manicure. My pedicure was okay - considering it was my first professional pedicure since the pandemic I would have expected them to do a little better job cleaning but they still did a fine job when it came to the massage.Overall service was good - I had booked a manicure and pedicure and forgot to mention Id like to do a nail design. They were pretty busy and good about sticking to appointment times so they couldnt accommodate but I dont take that as a negative. I genuinely appreciate that they were respectful of other peoples time and making sure they were ready for folks at their appointment time. Would definitely go back!
The salon is chic & very cute, but the manager Linda is condescending and is horrible with customers. Her husband Tony is great! He always maintains a warm & pleasant attitude even during difficult conversations. When providing what should be a relaxing experience, consistency with quality & friendly service is expected. Linda does NOT provide this.
I booked an appointment since my brothers wedding is on Friday. I wanted to make sure I would be able to get my nails done. I went to the Buckhead location since I have been wanting to come to Les Main for SOOOO long. Masks aren’t required and there was no spacing between clients, they were packed! The pedicure was fine… but the SNS was not good. I asked for coffin and the shape is not inform, some are crooked (and no it’s not my finger because its going the complete opposite way), which I pointed out to her and her “fixing it” only made it worse….the nail tech was aggressive and made me bleed a few times. She finished and said they were dry and I was set to go. The manager came over to check on them and ask my opinion and noticed the SNS was uneven, not dry and said they would fix it, well it made it worse. This place wasn’t the best for cleanliness and it is not worth the hype. My nails are not cute and I will see if I can get them fixed elsewhere
I used to frequent Les Mains for my mani/pedi’s. Unfortunately I now have to be treated for a nail infection (paronychia) after my last appointment. I won’t be returning.
Terrible customer service. Didnt have my appointment that I made days before, then instead of helping us or saying theyd get us in because there was a mistake, just made us stand there awkwardly and proceeded to help others and take phone calls. We left because our money would be better spent elsewhere.
Horrible manicure. She filed my nail down to nothing and didn’t ask about shape until it was too late. My nails are so short that they hare throbbing. The SNS is thick and rough. Still charged me the full price even though it was very clear I was upset. Wouldn’t recommend.
I made an appointment 2 weeks ago for 6pm. They didnt seat me until 6:45 . Overall bad customer service and they are clearly over booking and wasting everyones time. Whats the point of an appointment?
So disappointing. Went here for months and will never go back after my most recent experiences. Cracked SNS after 4 days, terrible pedicure and terrible customer service. Finally walked out after waiting 1.5 hours when I had an appointment.
I’ve been here several times and every nail tech that I’ve gotten has done a great job on my nails, also everyone is so friendly. Summer did an amazing job on my SNS nails today.
It was my first time at this nail salon today, Ill definitely go again. Great service, lovely people.
Let me start by saying this salon has great technicians. Especially Karen and Summer, if you have to go here ask for them you wont be disappointed. The only problem with this nail bar is just as the other comments suggested - the manager Linda!!! She is a nightmare. She makes it so difficult to make an appt ahead of time and always has this rude condescending tone when she speaks to you! Last time I checked you are supposed to be friendly and nice to your clients!!!Its such a shame! I pushed through for a year and a half because I loved Karen and Summer but today I just couldnt anymore! Shes just too complicated - its just nails Linda!! Relax and be nice! Even her husband Tony, is so nice and the complete opposite... the only problem is her!
Team is super nice & the salon is cute & clean. they were doing a great job taking into consideration covid precautionary measures as well & have plexi glass installed between the nail techs and clients.literally the best nails i have ever gotten. superrrrr detailed. does take a little longer but its because they do such a great, thorough job. had an appointment and was taken care of right away.highly recommend.
I’ve been coming here since fall 2017 (now fall 2019) and have never left unhappy! There is often a wait as of the past few months, but totally worth it! It’s a beautiful location, decorated chic and trendy, yet classy, they play good music and not spa music, and offer beverages like wine, Coke, Diet Coke, tea, water, exc. at no charge! (I will never pass up a glass of wine while being pampered). AND it’s reasonably priced!! Not really any different price wise then going to Super Nail #2 in your local shopping center next to a grocery store. They did my nails for my engagement pictures, my wedding along with all my bridesmaids, brought my husband here for his first pedicure, and my brother for a pedicure when he moved back home from out of town. BIG FAN
I took my wife here for a birthday present. The staff is amazing, caring and really, REALLY good at what they do. So good that we live in Buford Ga, about an hour away and drove down to check this place out. B and Tom took very good care of us and held the utmost professionalism. We will return!
I visited Les Mains for the first time yesterday and really enjoyed it. The atmosphere is nice and the staff is professional. I waited a while, but I was a walk in and they were busy, so it was to be expected. My nail tech thanked me for my patience- she did a great job on my nails...she was fast, but paid attention to detail. The staff are very attentive to the clients needs. Prices are reasonable. Ill definitely be back!
It was my first time here today, and I loved my experience! I wanted some sort of nail art but wasnt sure what I wanted and they were very patient with me while I decided what I wanted done. The staff there were friendly and seemed like they were genuinely having fun with each other and the clients, and they did a great job with my nails. The place was clean and bright, and the prices were very reasonable. Ill definitely be back for another visit!
Summer is great!! This place also has a cute and convenient location but lacks so much in customer service. Your appointment time is often not honored and management is not welcoming to customers. My friend and I have been loyal customers for almost a year and we have both had issues with fixing nails that have not been done well. I wont be returning any more after my last experience with SNS chipping excessively on the same day I got them done and then again only a few days later.I asked if I could get a discount since they have been on for less than a week and my nails have never chipped like this before. The manager simply said we dont do that. She simply said they can fix the nails that are broken with the same color that was chipping poorly because other people have gotten it and havent had a problem. What would be the harm in simply offering a loyal customer a small discount for their loyalty? Customer service needs some work.
I had been coming to this nail salon for several months but noticed a decline in the quality of customer service that I believe was linked to my skin color. 1. The manager, Linda always treated me with a different sense of enthusiasm than she did the other patrons. 2. She wouldn’t allow me to book appointments online with who I preferred which was absurd. 3. On one occasion, my cup of wine spilt over as I was being serviced and Linda refused to give me another which I highly doubt would be the same case for other patrons. 4. This place lacked consistency in terms of service prices. On my last visit, I was charged $5 just to shape my nails and $8 for the length of my nails. I think that this is absurd seeing that the whole point of a nail salon is to groom nails. The frivolous charges were the final straw for me. All in all, it’s very disappointing and upsetting that places like this operate and thrive off of being discriminatory and I will never be back.
Linda, “the manager”, was a complete and unprofessional person (and that is putting it as nicely as I can). She behaved atrociously, passive aggressively and immaturely upon my friends and I late arrival. Rather than tell us we missed our time slot and give us an alternative time, she proceeded to mumble under her breath to her employees how they’ll all have to stay late because of us REPEATEDLY. A grown woman and business owner does not behave that way. Customers may not always be right but they at least deserve respect. If you have a problem, approach us DIRECTLY. Extremely unbecoming. This was a waste of $300 for my friends and I. Going to get your nails done here would be a complete disservice. Save yourself the hassle. 💅🏽
Favorite nail salon! The staff is incredibly friendly and talented. The space is beautiful and clean. Nail art game is strong if you are looking for something fun and different! I’ve never had a bad manicure or experience. Love all of the people at Les Mains!
So bad and did such a terrible job
The equipment is not clean.
Les Main is a wonderful establishment with a friendly owner and staff. This is the only salon I’ve found in the Atlanta area that is efficient while also providing an elevated and relaxing experience! It differs from other local salons that do a poor job or have a stressful “in and out” atmosphere. Love Les Main!
I am beyond disappointed with this nail bar. Tony, one of the managers, is extremely professional and kind. I have been coming to his nail bars since I moved to Atlanta 3 1/2 years ago. Linda, the other manager, is rude and unprofessional, treating only those that come in with high end fashion with respect.I have been to the Les Mains location (they used to have other location like lush nails) is super clean and those who work there are really professional and clean. Here’s the issue:For the past few times I have been to this location, I have been forgotten about or neglected and other have been out in front of me. I made an appointment and shared what I wanted on the phone. Time and time again, the manager, Linda, has forgotten to send someone to my station or has switched up my nail technician half way through. I have waited for a manicure for over and hour and no one has come, more than once. But here’s the real kicker:I called afterwords to speak to the manager and explain my frustration. I spoke to Linda, who was extremely rude, sharing that she was unaware of my appointment and that I even asked for a manicure, calling it “human error” because she never bothered to check the computer. Upon continuing explaining, she shared that I, the customer, was wrong and that it is my responsibility to speak up and say that I had a manicure because apparently they do not check the computers. Linda continues to argue with me. It was disgusting and unprofessional.Bottom line is: I’m only going back up Tony is there and Linda is on vacation. If you’re planning on coming in, be prepared for low grade treatment if you don’t have a Gucci handbag, Louis Vito’s Flip Flops and at least a 3 carat ring on your finger.Just Yuck!
Amazing experience. The space is clean and open and the staff were exceptionally nice and took their time even though the place was pretty busy. I have an injury and without my asking the staff jumped to be careful and helpful. To top it off my nails look incredible and the prices were very reasonable ($27 for a basic pedicure and I think about $35 for my SNS). Highly recommend!
I simply asked to have a polish change on my toes because it was the opposite color of what my nails were. I understand if something cant be done but its all in the way you treat people. The manager was beyond disrespectful and I will never be back to an establishment that doesnt treat their customers nicely. They refused to change my polish because they said they told me before it would be darker... no one ever mentioned that they said it would be similar and thats all. She wouldnt redo my polish so asked me to pick out a color and go over the top. The way she treated me was belittling and absolutely unacceptable. Again, I understand if something cant be done but you never treat people that way. Very disappointed.
I called ahead and asked about the wait. The woman on the phone was polite and said there was no wait and didn’t offer an appt. I said I’d be there in five minutes. I drove straight there- arriving in five minutes- to be told that since I had called, six people had come and I would have a long wait. No apology. Just super frustrating.
This place needs to be shut down.
I’ve been in Buckhead for 6 months now and have FINALLY found my nail salon! Les Mains was such a great experience at a reasonable cost. Seriously best manicure I’ve had, and I’m extremely picky. I usually have to ask for my shape to be fixed multiple times but here I didn’t ask once. Beautiful salon, wonderful service - ask for B!
This place is so busy and recommended by my coworkers so I knew it had to be good. I saw Amber today and she was great, so happy I found her so close to my job too. Also I enjoyed a glass of white wine. :)
Ive been meaning to write a review for this place, but havent gotten around to it. I went for a second time yesterday, and my experience was the same as the first - awesome nails served with great customer service. My Only hang up is that each nail technician Ive had has broken one of my nails - both the first and second time I went. They moved Very fast and Very hard. I dont like telling people how to do their job, but I shouldve opened up and told the girl doing my nails yesterday to relax - LOL! I had a feeling she was gonna break a nail, and sure enough... Fortunately my nails are long and grow quickly, so I wasnt as upset as someone who may struggle with nails growth probably wouldve been. After that she slowed down, applied LESS pressure, shaped it up and finished me up with the look I wanted .. minus a little length. Will I be back? Of course. I just hope I end up with someone who isnt trying to beat up my hands! 🤣🤣🤣 Overall, still a great experience.
Im obsessed with this nail salon! The owner Linda is the best owner / manager. She is there all the time and will even pitch in when theyre super busy. My nails always turn out great, and they arent super pricey. Highly recommend!
Recently moved to Atlanta from Miami and super happy with the service and quality of this salon! Will be returning.
Came here for SNS manicure (which I think is a genericized trademark for dip powder...they use a brand called Chisel not SNS). Anyway, the first manicure I had was great. The guy had good attention to detail and they lasted 3 weeks which is the longest Ive ever had a powder manicure last (usually the sides and cuticle part start lifting). I got a lighter color the second time (15 days ago). After 5 days, one of my nails had a light crack under the surface but didnt bother me much. By day 7 it had actually cracked so I went in to have it redone since you cant really keep a cracked powder nail as it will get caught on things and snag whatever you touch. They did this for free which was nice, but when I got to the car I noticed my thumb nail was starting to crack. Rather than be that annoying customer I went on with my day and just tried to avoid touching it. It of course continued to crack until last night (day 14) a piece of it actually chipped off my nail. I went in today to have it redone and the guy Im assuming is the owner has always been nice to me but today kept saying oh its been more than 2 weeks...yes but it was like this since last week just wasnt worth coming in to have it fixed until it got to this point. A nice lady fixed it then looked at my other nails and noticed 2 more were close to cracking. She filed them down and added another top coat. While I was seated a girl came and sat next to me - she had 2 cracked nails from her powder manicure too. They charged me $6 this time plus $2 I tipped. If Im going to get a $50+ manicure, I expect it to last and not need $8 touchups every week. Not to mention when it cracks it cracks your nail too.
Incredible experience! I’ve lived in atlanta for 3 years and struggled to find a nail place I really love. They were all either terrible or just okay. This is it, y’all! Amazing service, friendly staff, and most importantly- gorgeous nails. Karen was wonderful and I can honestly say my nails have never looked better. :)
I’ve been going to this salon for six months and have had a great experience every single time. I’ve had several different techs and they’ve all done an amazing job. It’s clean, professional, and always welcoming.
Amber gave me the BEST PEDICURE EVERRRRR!! We came in like an he before closing and she still rubbed my feet as if she didnt work hard all day! It was amazing! T, also is amazing because she did wonders on my husbands jacked up feet! Lol! Love this place so much, made an appointment, which I never do at any nail salons! Cant wait for my next appointment!
This place is awful. Two times I’ve gone and my SNS cracked within a week, went back again to try gel and my nails started peeling off THAT day. Went back to get them fixed, which they graciously did, and now it’s 3 days later and 4 of my nails have peeled off...also a very expensive gel manicure ($37) +$7 to take off the SNS. Overpriced and quality does not measure up. Will not be returning.
Staff was professional and really friendly!!! Very clean and nice relaxing setting!! I would highly recommend to anyone. Oh and can also do nail art!!
Nail salons dont get better than Les Mains! This is exactly what Buckhead needed. Linda and her team are professional, friendly and seriously talented! I always feel like Im being personally catered to any time I am in the salon, and its always so nice to be greeted by name and with a smile!! I will never go anywhere else :)
Best nail salon. Super clean and great at designs
The business owner does not believe in a decent customer service. I am not sure the value the owner will bring to her crew. I’ll never be back to this place due to the owner’s rude attitude. In August 12, 2018, i visited this place for pedicure. I arrived at the place at around 1:10 pm. No one was in the front desk. It looked every one was busy. I then went ahead to pick up the color and sat down in the front desk. I waited there for over 30 minutes. In the 30 minutes, no store employee approached me to greet me or tell me how long shall I wait. I was left clueless. Finallly, I asked for the manager. The business ower then came out. I explained to her that she shall have someone in the front desk to greet customers despite of her busy business. I told her that I could have walked away instead of explaining my frustration. She simply told me to get out to find a place with front desk. This was shocking!!!!I have never been treated like this in any place. Anyway, I did not make a scene in the place. I quietly left the place.I will never come back to this place any more. The business does not deserve to make my money if the business owner does not believe in a decent customer service.
I always have a good experience at Les Mains. The customer service is good and the shop is always clean and neat!
Went here for a mani-pedi for my birthday. We had an appointment but it was packed so we waited a bit. During my pedicure, my cuticles were cut so short and aggressively, I bled several times. They continued to put alcohol on it to stop the bleeding - 3 days later, I still have puffy, red, irritated nail cuticles. Ive had mani-Pedis in the past and NEVER had irritation like this! I am so disappointed. The polish looks nice but I will not be returning.
Rushed through job and paid for a deluxe pedicure and barely exfoliated... my feet still have rough skin all over bottom.
Went here for a relaxing afternoon with my mother. We both got manis and pedis. They were incredibly busy but worked us in. Great experience and will be back.
I want to start by saying the nail technicians did an amazing job and we left a 20% tip because they deserved it for their great service. However, the manager Linda provided such a horrible and embarrassing experience that my 3 coworkers and I will not be returning (after spending $300 of course) (If you want a great manicure AND friendly/kind service I’d recommend Nouvelle or Sugarcoat!) We unfortunately were 30 minutes late to our appt because of traffic coming from our office in West Midtown to the salon in Buckhead (welcome to life in Atlanta) but the friend who booked our appts was already there and let the manager know we would be late / around what time we would be arriving - she also apologized on our behalf knowing the traffic was holding us up. When we arrived Linda told us because we were late they had to let other people go ahead of us and that we’d need to wait for a bit, to which we said “totally fine, that makes sense.” We asked if we could sit in the chairs next to our friend whose mani/pedi had begun while we waited and she said yes. Then out of nowhere Linda came over and started scolding my coworker, someone who she knows personally and has frequented this salon for 2 years, about how we were late, it threw their times off, they had to honor walk-ins ahead of us, our friend who arrived first should have said something (she did and Linda acknowledged that she did later when we spoke with her), maybe next time we will respect their time, etc - this came out of NOWHERE and was a huge scene that the whole salon witnessed. Everyone was staring and watching as she reprimanded my coworker for 10 minutes (Linda was not discreet about it). I’ve never experienced something like that in a place of business before - even after that, she continued to make loud passive aggressive comments near us about needing to give her employees overtime pay (don’t they deserve it?). We weren’t even the last ones in the salon! It was mortifying and the only reason we didn’t leave right then and there is because it would have been disrespectful to the nail techs who were in the middle of our services and we wanted to make sure they were paid/got their tip. We tried to speak to Linda after (once everyone had left so as not to make a scene) and she kept insisting that we were at fault for being late and did not acknowledge once that she treated us, her customers, in a rude or disrespectful way. I do not recommend coming here at all.
The nail tech I had was great conversationalist, and did an immaculate SNS manicure. Cant wait to return
Fan-ta-stic.First pedicure and Im definitely coming back.... Great service, great people.
Owner has an attitude. Manicure is good and clean but not worth the frustration. So many more options in Buckhead and AtlantaAfter spending more than $800 there over the year the owner actually told me that i was not welcome back after challenging a payment option. ( which i alway pay by the way) Happy they are successful enough to turn away repeat customers.
I’m not sure who is trolling this wonderful establishment with fake accounts (all reviews posted within the last week with the same terrible grammar structure). However, I have been coming to Les Mains since they opened and the service has always been exceptional! Everyone who works here goes out of their way to make sure you are having a great experience. I am always greeted within 2 minutes of walking in to their storefront and offered something to drink. Even when busy, they take their time to make sure that my manicure and pedicure are done well. My mani/pedis always last the test of time and it always looks good, no matter which technician I work with, due to high standards set by the owners. These high standards also extend to their health standards, always making sure that the pedicure chairs are clean (they use plastic covers) and their tools are also sanitized. I would recommend Les Mains hands down over any other nail salon within a 10-mile radius!
Everything about this place is fantastic. Their prices, quality, friendliness, and ambience! Finally found the perfect nail salon!!
The place is clean and bright, the people are always super friendly, & they do a fantastic job! My nails have never looked better :)
I BLED, MY NAIL BROKE WITHIN 4 HOURS, MANAGER WAS RUDEMy friend has been going to this location for her last 5 manicures and raved about it. I went and had a horrible time. I went in for a gel manicure and the guy working on my nails made me bleed on 4 DIFFERENT FINGERS. Then after all of this, the manager came over to inform me that I was going to be charged $5 extra for the coffin shape that I was never asked for or given. When I went to tell her that my nail shape hadnt changed since my arrival, she proceeded to tell me I was wrong, grab a nail file, and shorten my nails even more to make it a square shape. The cherry on top, my nail broke within 5 hours because they filed it down way too thin. I wont be going back.
Terrible service! They made me feel incredibly uncomfortable. Horrible job on my nails and my wifes. She had to super glue 4 of her nails back in the first 5 days.
Love this place! I always get great service 🤗
Great nail polish color selection, relaxed atmosphere and super friendly and talented nail techs.
I went to Les Mains for the first time this evening and I will definitely be back. The store was clean and all of the staff was very friendly.
I wrote a review a little over a week ago about the awful service and now after 2 weeks I’ve lost 2 MORE NAILS!!! ITS UNBELIEVABLE! I have never ever had this happen before ever. And it’s only on one hand. They filed my nails so thin on one hand that I know have to pay even more to get a tip and SNS to get my hands looking normal.
My favorite place in ATL.
Terrible customer service and awful management.
I will never go anywhere else! My nails have never looked and felt so flawless.
The best manicure in Buckhead!
Excellent service
I’ve been to Les Mains in Buckhead twice and both times have been so great that I’ll be making this my new nail salon. I’ve been back in Atlanta for five months and when I say I’ve tried so many renowned nail salons in the area, I’ve been through them all. This is easily the best experience I’ve had. Ten did my SNS nails the last time and she did a beautiful job! Nina did my gel pedicure, which is also fab! The first nail technician I saw also did an exceptional job, but I can’t remember her name.Either way, I’m not sure how they have so many bad reviews so I wanted to come on here and tell about my amazing experience! I know I rely on Google reviews, so I hope this helps someone else who’s on the fence on trying out this spot.
I love here
