I would give 0 stars if I could. They are corrupt. Nasty people. They try to make you feel bad about needing money when they are making hundreds of thousands A MONTH off of you. They are pimping men. Dont go here.

Hey my name is Tyrone I was homeless and I lived at Georgia works that place is not there to really help you they will use u and they will take your money from u if you leave them they didnt give me my money that I worked for they will use and abuse you they dont care about anybody I will never recommend anyone to go there

My school come here to volunteer with several students. We gave free haircuts to the displaced men. I also have a shop called Atlanta Barbers and Beauties right up the street. We would be happy to service the men on a regular basis at a discounted rate.

This place is great as an only alternative. They helped my brother who has a felony and could not get a job. They help you get a job, a place, and save money. Of course you have to follow very strict rules and deal with crazy people too.

Georgia Works! is an excellent program that affords homeless men the opportunity to be self sufficient. Additionally, the men Learn valuable tools that assists in their ongoing plight to maintain independence.. K. F.

Georgia works! is a God gift program. Its nothing like it. They help me, when I was hopeless, when I didnt feel worthy as man & father.

Pros:- They feed you, cloth you, and make sure you have access to shower, clothes etc.- They have enough work for you. They help you save money.- Most of the Staff actually look out for you and try to help. (Mario McGill, Mrs. Giles, Shemarcus, Steve McCoy, Mr. Adolphus, etc. Too many to name)-You get free medical care. HOW MUCH BETTER DOES IT GET?!Cons:- Between work, N.A. meetings, and class, I averaged 4-5 hours of sleep a night(That is very stressful!)- A few of the staff either didnt care or were just very rude( Zak, Mr. Original)-This place has a high turnover. My best friend and a few other good friends just left and it just straight up sucks when you make good friends only to have them disappear.I cant give this place 5 stars because its not perfect but, I can say this a great place to be if youre serious about getting your life together.

Georgia Works is a Great Program that Helps Homeless Men Get Jobs, Housing Most importantly help them Work on themselves Internally by Changing Their Mind Changing their Heart and Changing thier Action and the Rest is up to You. Im so Greatful for the tools this Program have Given Me and Im Grateful to be apart on the Georgia Works Team, by Helping Changing the Direction in the Mens Lifes that was Going the Wrong Way And Grateful to the Ex:Director Mr. Phil Hunter and Founder: Mr. Bill Mcgahan for Allowing Me the Opprotunity to Go through GA, Works Work Program. It Showed Me how to take Personal Responsibility For My Actions also thought me how to make better Decisions to be A Better Father,Friend and a Good Worker on My Job.

The program is great. The men thats in the program gives motivation to the new guys. The program itself gives hope. Theres staff there that really cares. A few comes off as if they dont but theyre trying to help you break your old habits. I have mad respect for the people thats really doing their part. However two of the staff members are really full of themselves. Mario and T. Simmons should stop with the bs games theyre playing. I really want to bring one out the closet if you know what I mean and curse the other one out again but all I can do is pray for the two of you and hope the program out grows you two. But anywaylike iI said the program is lit and the head barber there is so gifted that he doesnt realize it but I believe GW will really put the brother on the map cause thats what they do and thats just one example out of many. I spent 6 mounths only for them to not give me any savings was thrown out at 830 pm after returning from work with no warning they got me for about thousand dollars I wonder how many more they have done this to up date after waiting almost 2 years they sent me a 777 dollar check for 6 mounths at 50dollars a week you can do the math smh
