I have been coming to Workout Anytime Athens since August of 2020. Not only are the staff members friendly and helpful, but they also help you reach your goals and encourage you to be your best. The trainer, Callie, has pushed me to do my best and be my best in the gym showing me what it takes to get in and stay in shape. I would not be where I am now without her training and encouragement. The facility is clean and doesnt have the typical gym stench. I have been a member of various gyms over the years, but this gym environment makes me feel comfortable, happy, and, most of all, healthy. Overall the Gym is managed really well, everything is always clean, sanitized and ready for use. Has a wide variety of equipment to switch up workout routines. Workout Anytime is the perfect gym for me!

Amazing gym! Always super clean and the staff is super helpful and friendly. Any questions I have they always answer! There is also lots of equipment here that is not at other gyms and a HUGE back room for a free area. Love coming here!!

First the pros:The gym is clean and well maintained, its a decent size but could be bigger. Its got most everything one would need as far as equipment goes from beginners to heavier lifters. Its also nice that its open 24/7As for the cons:Its pretty expensive for what you get, theres not many amenities besides the equipment, and theres not a good area for stretching or body weight exercises. It gets very busy there as its one of the main gyms in town and we found that even at odd hours it would be crowded, and since its not very large it feels cramped with a lot of people. Finally the biggest con is predatory pricing, I used the gym for admittedly a short amount of time, as I signed up in April and since were moving in July, just cancelled the beginning of June. I was charged for an initial sign up fee, 4 months of use, and an additional fee for cancelling, effectively doubling the advertised price per month. Just be sure you know this going in and plan to use the gym for longer than a summer as they rake in the most money on short term gym goers with these practices.

This place has changed my life. I went from 180 to 130 in a year. The staff here keep me going and motivated and the facility is the cleanest I’ve ever seen. They do a great job of keeping the equipment up. Love this place!

Very unprofessional at how they handle things (the owner as well as the trainers and some managers) trainers are poorly uneducated. The gym is very nice and have a plethora of machines as well as free weights.I had problems with a trainer taking conversations she over heard inside of the gym and taking them outside and telling girlfriends about which is very unprofessional. Before I could even make it be know to the owner my membership was cancelled, after just paying the full month, by a manager. Then months later I try to talk to the owner and was basically told by him that his employees are more important than his customers

This is a great gym. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean and well maintained. My daughter and I workout together a few days a week there. Talked with Jason today. Super nice guy. Would reccomend to anyone looking for a great place to workout.

Great place to workout. Friendly staff, nice variety of equipment and extras. One of the best things about this gym is they keep it very clean. Jason does a great job keeping everything in working order and the rest of the staff(Shivon and Ashley) are friendly and helpful. Great value for a small town gym.

This is the best Gym in town. They are so clean! All the staff is friendly and helpful. I come here almost every day and I love all the options that I have when I walk in the door. The members are great and helpful.

I hated PE in school. Hated excercised. Not anymore! This place is the best!

Joined WOA, and I’ve gotten calls almost daily, along with text messages CONSTANTLY telling me that they are going to suspend my membership. I have my card ON FILE, and they are still trying to contact me every single day. I work night shift, and I don’t have time to deal with the bombardment of phone calls/text messages asking for money, when THEY LITERALLY HAVE MY CARD ON FILE! Save your time, and money and just go buy a membership at the YMCA or get equipment for your home.

After graduating the police Academy about two years ago I decided I didn’t need my workout Anytime membership any longer they refused to let me cancel and because of the pandemic they also would not let me come in and cancel my membership, before the pandemic I paid $30 a month for two years for absolutely nothing only to find out at the end when I was able to cancel my membership it charges me 60 more dollars to get my membership canceled. I could’ve bought a whole entire home gym for the price I ended up paying this terrible company. I hope no one makes this decision I made by going to a gym where your locked in to pay whatever they say. You can own your own home gym for the price of paying for a gym membership two years! If there were fewer stars to rate this it would’ve been a -0 for my experience with Workout Anytime 24/7! Then they called me to offer my 30$ cancellation fee back if I take this post down. How about giving me a full refund and we will talk. (Responding To the “owner” unfortunately it’s not letting me upload my screen shots of all the people your company has done wrong but I can email them to you if you’d like.)

I enjoyed my workout but what I dont like is being a beginner no one shows you how to use the equipment. When you join I think they should at least walk you through with a plan.

I spoke with jason via text message who answered all my questions very professionally. I signed up and got a free month. Equipment is always clean, tanning is available. Only 1 bed and 1 stand-up but i never have an issue getting into one or another. Extremely happy with the gym thus far.

Just started two weeks ago. Main intent is to build lean muscle. The staff was and is very helpful in showing what machines will work for me. The equipment is excellent, and the place is very clean. Im 75 years old. In 2017, I weighed 265 lbs. Through diet and exercise, I now weigh 146 lbs. Type 2 diabetes is in the normal range. Workout Anytime Fitness has helped me so much. 2 weeks - gained 4 lbs.

The owner of this facility is VERY shady, the two months they were shut down for COVID 19 they still took out the monthly fees and they are only giving credits to people who ask, when you want to cancel they require you give a 30 day notice and pay for the remaining month(s). Canceling is suppose to be very easy but there are hidden hoops you must jump through. I would never tell anyone to join this gym!! They have ruined people’s credit and have charged so many hidden fees to people it’s not even funny!!

Great workout

I love this gym! It is clean and bright, a very inviting place to work out. Everyone on the staff has been so friendly and helpful. I got a few sessions with one of the personal trainers, Nathan, just to get started with a workout plan, but he has helped me with so much more! He has helped me with a diet plan, shown me exercises with more of their workout equipment, in addition to the machines, which has given me a more complete workout, and his positive attitude and encouragement really help me stay on track! I highly recommend Workout Anytime Athens!

I was charged for April. My card expired, which was accidental and overlooked on my part, yes. However, I am now being told I owe for May, June and July - Aug 11 to cancel my membership. Covid closed the gym April - June 1, so I should not have to pay for those months they were closed, AND on my membership agreement it states I can cancel ANYTIME, so why would I be charged for July - Aug. I dont think I should be charged, and from what I hear if I paid to cancel so no further charges would be added...then asked for a refund....trying to get a refund from them is never going to happen. I was only leaving due to kickboxing not being there anymore, I might have considered coming back in the fall, but now I WILL not, and I WILL be sharing this information with others.

Cancellation is the biggest pain. I only used the facility for Kickboxing so I haven’t been since March but I was charged for April when the gym was closed for COVID and now that I’m trying to cancel (even though they say you can cancel anytime), it’s saying I have to pay for this month AND next. I emailed the owner who was no help.

Great gym and you cant beat the price. One of my favorite things about it is that its open 24/7. I suffer from depression and I have some social anxiety, I sleep at odd hours too so its nice being able to go in the middle of the night while noone is there. Literally anytime I want to go workout I can.

I love this place! There are no hidden fees you sign a paper right up front saying that in 3 months there is a yearly maintenance fee. They are clean have great exercise machines and the people are really nice! Also they have great trainers also! My trainer is Nathan and Im doing great training with him! I couldnt be happier with the gym. Im so glad that I joined.

Starting February 1st. Monthly fees are going up for new memberships. No longer able to bring a friend with premium memberships. Could have warned people before a renewal. But guess since the owner is selling out then it doesnt matter to him. I took my business elsewhere.
