As always the crew at The Lofts deliver excellent service. Tami has made everything so easy living here and is super responsive to any help I need. Brian is also great handling all the maintenance needs whenever needed. Thanks for everything!10/10
The management team the The Lofts are A+. If i make a request, I get what I need. If I need a ladder, it shows up at my door. They care about their residents and they keep the facility super clean. The location could not be better. Love the Lofts at SS!
Thank you so much for installing the ceiling fan and changing the filter. I am so fortunate to live in a place where Tami and Brian take good care of us. #thankful
I lived in the 162 building of The Lofts for nearly 2-years and I absolutely loved my time there. The location cant be beat - right in the middle of the South Slope and within walking distance to the rest of downtown Asheville. The industrial look of the apartments are gorgeous and the management team takes great care of the building and all of the residents there...the property manager, Tami, is just the best! I highly recommend making your home at The Lofts!
My fiance and I lived here for one year. Here are the Pros and the Cons and why the cons outweigh the pros and the reasons we choose to leave:PROS:1. Tami, the apartment manager is wonderful! She is always very friendly and will help you if you have any questions.2. Good location if youre planning on bar hoping a lot.3. Up to date appliances in rooms and community spaces.4. Community room is really spacious and accommodating. Surprisingly, many residents do not use this in the evening but works out well if you are wanting some private space.CONS:1. Probably the biggest con for us was, the homeless population surrounding the apartments. They dig through our trash, weve been broken into several times both car and apartment building and they harass you while your sitting on your porch. I even had someone jump on the railing of my apartment and yell in. The police told me that The Lofts will not post no trespassing signs so there isnt much they can do. Although, when you ask management they tell you to call the police.2. Maintenance is poor. Although, they respond quickly, they do a very poor job. We had our door replaced due to previous renters damage and the door wouldnt shut all the way after they installed it. They also left a huge mess behind. When I returned, there was wood shavings everywhere. Other things included, shower containing mold from move in date due to improper grouting, shower made a terrible loud noise while using and other things. It wasnt a big deal, but when paying a decent price, you want proper maintenance. I often wouldnt ask them to fix things because I knew it would be the same or worse if they did.3. No amenities: There is no pool, tennis courts or anything like that. There is only one community room that contains a fireplace and a few board games. It was enjoyable but seeing we could pay less and get many more amenities, it wasnt worth it.4. Living downtown is great BUT: Where the lofts are located, the only surrounding places are bars, which for many would be great. However, I wanted to be able to walk to the store and I was unable to do this. There arent any stores around. Only one really sketchy gas station that is really not safe at night.5. Apartments are not very sound proof. You can hear EVERYTHING the person above you is doing. When I first moved in I thought we just had a loud upstairs neighbor. However, when speaking with other residents, I quickly learned that the floors are not sound deadening at all. This kept me up many nights so if this would be stressful for you, this may not be the right place.6. This one is avoidable but you WILL get towed if you park in the wrong place and there is NO parking. The parking you pay $30 a month for with the lofts is probably the most unsafe lot Ive ever seen. Homeless will pull on handles to see if cars are unlocked and even residents have been towed from here before when they didnt deserve it. Residents who pay for this dont even want to park here.7. Unwelcoming community.... Sadly, we quickly found, many folks here have their groups of friends and dont really socialize with new residents. Even the parties they throw ever few months are this way. So if youre looking for a lot of friends, this probably isnt the place for you.Overall, I wouldnt live here again but I did enjoy the positive aspects of The Lofts. Again, Tami is great and the building is new and nice. If you will only be here for a year or so, I say go for it but if youre planning on staying for some time, there are better options.
Weve lived in the 150 building for 2 years now and could not have had a better experience! Tami is extremely helpful and keeps things running smoothly at all times. We have only made minor maintenance requests, but they have been resolved very quickly. The experience and location here are so great that it will make it difficult to move elsewhere.
You couldnt ask for a cooler, hipper place than the Lofts at South Slope. Right in the middle of the Brewery District, the location cant be beat. The apartments are great with that kind of big city industrial feel. Tami, the leasing agent, is amazing and quick to respond to any question or request. I highly recommend! Oh, and did I mention theyre above a craft beer bar and store.
I have lived in the Lofts since it opened, now approaching 4 years. Our manager, Tami, truly cares about the residents, their safety, and comfort. The Lofts are located in the South Slope which is continuing to grow with new restaurants and other businesses. I walk everywhere downtown and never have to worry about parking.I would highly recommend the Lofts and Tami.
This place is simply perfect. The location, the building, the atmosphere, and the people make living at the Lofts a must. The property manager, Tami Bebber, is outstanding! She takes a sincere interest in making sure the living experience at the Lofts is second to none!
I’ve lived at The Lofts of South Slope for about 8 months. I looked at a lot of apartments before relocating to Asheville and this was absolutely my first choice. I love the industrial look of the building and the prime location in the heart of downtown. Tami and her staff are extremely friendly and responsive. I really love it here!
This property is great - the location is amazing, the layouts and merger of industrial and traditional are fabulous, but its the team that makes the apartment so great. The property manager, Tami, is literally amazing. Communication, service, and care for residents are off the charts. This is the best apt. experience I have ever had.
I was very fortunate to get a two bedroom apartment in this building and it is all due to our property manager Tami who is sales driven and also great with responding to the needs of the residents. Love it here. The location is great. The building is well maintained by our guy Michael. The residents are quite nice and very respectful of their neighbors.
The location of the building is amazing! We walk everywhere and have so many options for food and drinks right outside our door. The 150 building is beautiful and has high ceilings with a lot of natural light. All of the details (hardwoods, trim, countertops, hardware, etc) are quality and give the place a feel more like a condo than an apartment. My husband and I have loved living here for 2 years and are so sad to be leaving Asheville and this apartment. Tami has gone above and beyond to make our time here wonderful. She organizes events for the residents that have helped us build friendships with our neighbors. She responds quickly to any requests, and I dont think we will ever find a better-managed apartment building! I cant say enough about how much we have loved living here!
Management (aka Tami) is awesome, neighbors are fantastic, and the location is top notch. Been here almost three months and love it. I definitely recommend The Lofts at South Slope.
Love it here! Great location (walking distance to everything downtown), an apartment with real character, and a top-notch property management team.
Amazing location! Tami and Michael are fantastic as far as building management and maintenance goes! Cannot find a better place in town to live.
The Lofts at South Slope is a wonderful place for apartment living, and a great location in Asheville. The property manager, Tami Bebber, is always delightful and willing to help with any issues. I strongly recommend the two Tribute properties on Coxe Ave. in South Slope.
I can’t believe how fast my request was resolved! Thank you!
The Lofts at South Slope is a great place to call home! My husband and I have loved our experience thus far!
The Lofts are nice apts. great location and the leasing mgr is great to work with.
