I have been at River ridge for almost 2 years now I love my apartment I thank God for such a beautiful place and peaceful environment.. I would recommend River Ridge at anytime my neighbors are very nice and the staff are always helpful and kind if I have any problems with anything I always get a quick response.
After living at River Ridge it is with great disappointment that I am unable to continue living there because I sure would if I could. I would highly recomend to all what a marvious experience I had in my apartment! The grounds are beautiful, a great place to walk and the view of the Blue Ridge Mountains was unbelievable! The apartment rooms are a nice size too. I didnt get a chance to use the facilities but they are very well taken care. The property managers are always helpful and the maintenance guys are really quick to fix a problem if there is one. Who knows maybe my journey will bring me back at a later time in my life.
I am pleased that t chose River Ridge in early 2019. It is minutes from 240 and 40 yet quiet. I have especially enjoyed my very private patio and the surrounding flowering trees and shrubs. The staff was exceptionally helpful in my move and have been prompt in attending to issues in the apartment. It is a nice community.
I have lived at River Ridge Apartments for 2 years and have loved being here. The office staff is kind and courteous. I have had a good experience with maintenance as well. The property is lovely and spacious. After living most of my adult life in Houston in crowded apartment complexes, it is a joy to look out on beautiful green space. The apartments are spacious and well designed. I love mine. It feels like a home instead of a box. My time here has been a joy.
Living in River Ridge is a daily pleasure. The community spirit creates a peaceful home atmosphere. I love my apartment layout w/all the trees & quiet living. It is pet friendly & sits on acres of walking opportunities along the river. The office is always welcoming & accommodating. A very safe & secure neighborhood. My only recommendation would be to live on an upper floor if walking noise would be an issue if you lived below. Highly recommend River Ridge!
The team here is on top of everything...helpful and incredibly nice and friendly. My move in was made smooth and easy by Michaela. The grounds are well kept and the units are large and modern with great floor plans. Great place to live. I highly recommend River Ridge!
I have now stayed here twice. It is a nice location and outside well kept. My big issue with river ridge is the increase in rent every year regardless of how good a tenant. Expect an increase of $50 every year. As someone else noted, the windows are outdated, which leads to high utility costs.
From the first contact online and when I visited, the personal care I have received is beyond compare.Apartment is spacious, well maintained and quiet.Very happy here and would totally recommend .They are always available for anything you may need. Made me feel right at home. ❤
Very helpful staff. Straight forward rental agreement. Perfectly located, beautiful grounds and nice neighbors. What else could you want.
I lived at River Ridge when I first moved to Asheville in 2016. It was the perfect home for me, someone knew to the area. I had no idea how close the complex is to everything. The community has plenty of privacy, but it still close to the interstate, downtown, and tunnel road.We will be moving back into the complex because of the positive experience we had before. Our new apartment will be renovated slightly, but is still affordable. I believe this complex is exactly what you are paying for.The office staff has been pleasant with everything I’ve experienced, especially Michelle and Tamera. They notified me personally when an apartment came back up for rent unexpectedly.I don’t know if they have added recycling since the first time, or if they had it and I didn’t know, but this would be my only improvement!
This are 30 year old apartments but they charge new apartment rents. They also go up every year no matter how long you have been there or your payment record. There are problems with plumbing, air/hear and windows. If your neighbors smoke - good luck - your apartment will smell like smoke. They only have 2 maintenance people so it takes a long time to get anything fixed. Management does not care.
I moved in at the beginning of January 2018. Leasing my apartment was really easy. I love my apartment and I love the neighborhood! The property management office staff (especially Tamara) is incredibly friendly and super helpful, same goes with the maintenance guys.
I called River Ridge home for the better part of 5 years. I found the location to be ideal and the neighborhood to be quiet. During my stay, I found the office and maintenance staff to always be kind, courteous, and helpful. If I were to return to the area and needed to rent, I would not hesitate to call River Ridge first.
River Ridge has always had a homeless problem. There are several camps and management does nothing, including clean them up. Garbage is piling up and there are needles left behind. There is a big one on top of a hill between the apartments and Walmart shopping center. There are many car break-ins.
Very helpful, responsive, and pleasant staff; beautiful complex. Love it here!
Close and convenient location.Cindy and Tracy in the office are great. Most of the apartments need a long overdue renovation.Stove, refrigerator and carpet was new when we moved in.Cabinets were from the 80s and the veneer was peeling off.HVAC needs to be upgraded as well.Very expensive rent for the condition of the apartment compared to new ones nearby.
We have lived in our apartment for just under a year & except for a few items we really like our location & surroundings. The things we have a problem with seem to fall on deft ears in the office.1) The air conditioning/duct system was operating at a very poor level. We have a one bedroom unit& our electric bill was higher than the estimate we were given by the office when we looked at the apartment & was in excess of $145.00 per month. We asked the office to have it inspected but they refused so I called a company to come in & clean the ducts & check for leaks at our expense. That fee was $125.00, now the unit works much more efficiently. We then paid a company to come in & seal all windows which the bill for that was $60.00. This resulted in a monthly deduction in our electric bill of $30.00 per month. We also buy our own filters which eliminates a huge amount of dust& pollen.2) Refrigerator Problems: The original refrigerator in the apt when we leased it was repaired 3 times by the maintenance department, then, upon the problem still continuing they replaced the refrigerator with one they told us was new. Actually, it came out of another apartment. The same problem existed with this refrigerator where it would freeze items in the refrigerator compartment & products in the freezer would not stay frozen. As there was only a single temperature setting for the refrigerator & the freezer there was no solution. We came home from a weekend away to find our milk, buttermilk frozen solid & the cans of soda blew open & the ice went everywhere. In a 3 month period we lost over $77.00 in grocery items with no offer from the office to reimburse us for it. I then went down to the office & was told a lot of our residents buy their own refrigerators. We went out that day & bought one. So now our lease will go up $ 51.00 & for that amount,we supply our ownwasher & dryer, refrigerator & handle most of our own repairs.
Ive lived here with my husband and toddler for a year now -- just renewed our lease because we love it so much! The grounds are beautiful and impeccably maintained, the people are friendly, theres a sweet little playground that my kid loves, and a pool in the summer months. The location CANNOT be beat -- so convenient to Whole Foods, Target, Ingles, the post office, the Biltmore, downtown, and 240 and I40 (tho youd never know it once youre here, because its quiet). Within walking distance of practical stuff (like CVS) and extreme fun (like Mr. Ks used books). Ive had only one maintenance issue since we moved in, and it was taken care of within an hour. Our apartment has lots of nice, big windows and a wood-burning fireplace and a balcony. Lots of people here plant little gardens next to their apartments or on their balconies, which tells you something about how content they are in their space. We may never move.
The apartment was ok. It was old and dated but location was perfect. My negative rating is because after I moved they charged me $700 for some reason. They kept my deposit and I was not sent a email, letter, or called. I am an disabled veteran that alway paid my rent on time and now I have to dispute these charges on my credit report.
Convenient to everything yet tucked away and quiet.
Home.
