Monica was great to work with at Asheville Furnished Rentals. I recommend this place to anyone that comes to town and needs short term, fully furnished housing. I just moved into my cute, cozy one bedroom with Asheville furnished rentals. I must say I am really happy with the place. I’m not sure what’s going to happen with my deposit like the other posters are saying. I will say that the owner has put a lot of time money and energy into making the place comfortable and visually pleasing. The decor in my apartment is very tastefully done. I have beautiful silverware, dishes, towels, bedding including sheets from the Biltmore hotel. I have soap, paper towels some trash bags. A magic bullet, coffee maker, food processors, ironing board, iron, and much more. Most if not all of my amenities are new and my rent is affordable. I’m just really appreciating my place and the thoughtfulness and effort the owner put into it. I know nothing is free and all of these things cost money. I just thought to write a review in fairness and because I’m so pleased and thankful for the place while I’m in it.

When I moved from Florida to Asheville I didnt know where Id end up, but I feel lucky to land where I did. Im at Sanders Court, which is quite interesting to me because Colonel Sanders is one of my favorite historical figures. To me this is a special place. I love the classic motel A-frame architecture of the building, with its cobble stone walkways. I have the towering red maple tree to shade me in the summer and the gas fireplace to warm me in the winter. The hardwood floors and crystal doorknobs just fill out the charm. The north Asheville location is perfect with its easy access to everywhere.The staff has always been kind and friendly to me. There were problems with my application but the Kerry, Pam, and Jeanette bent over backwards to help make sure I was qualified. Im thankful to them for my apartment and really wouldnt want to be anywhere else!

While I did not end up renting from them they were great to work with, very professional, really nice to talk to and have some great properties. I tried really hard to find one that worked for me and was sorry not to but I recommend them to others regularly.

DO NOT RENT HERE! DO NOT RENT HERE! You will get nearly none of your security deposit back, regardless of how hard you try to clean; This was explicitly stated to me by the employee who did my move-out check-out. DO NOT RENT

DO NOT RENT. I am not quite sure what kind of a scam Jeanette Syprzak, her associates, and Sacramento Street Development is running; but I can assure you that they will take you for a ride. Employee turnover is extremely high, so prepare for all of your paperwork and previous tenants paperwork to be lost, misplaced or just not completed. With shoddy management and inconsistent business practices in place, you can then expect the never-before-mentioned-hidden-fees and wildly inappropriate costs for damage and replacement costs for items in the apartment that were never there to begin with. Jeanette never returned a phone call, email, and left her untrained management staff to handle all of the issues that they are unqualified and illprepared for. You will hear I am only the messenger... more times than you can count. Jeanatte Syprzak and her staff will create issues out of thin air to nickel and dime you out of your deposit and take whatever she can before returning what little is left of a deposit and never be available to speak or meet regarding the issues. The issues I have had with Jeanette Syprzak and her management staff have been so outlandish and criminal on her part that I have acquired legal counsel to resolve the matter. Her management style and how she decides to run her business is shameful, disgraceful and I would advise you to NOT RENT FROM JEANETTE SYPRZAK.

The apartment was nicely cleaned, but out of town and small for what we were paying- 1000$. Later on we discovered that the nicely cleaned part would come out of our deposit and they were quite strict on this- any towels that were stained or not fluffy enough, minimal vacuuming, not shiny floor, not shiny couch. They would determine the price of the cleaning based on their expensive housekeepers hours. (and drycleaners) For a $20 rug, we were sent a receipt for $50 drycleaning (hey, at least slightly eco, right ;-)) We were allotted 50$ of electricity a month and somehow it went above, so another 150$ came out of the deposit from that. Essentially, expect that all of your deposit will be gone or just squat in the last month, that works too. Asheville Riff-Raff is a local facebook page where you can find rentals besides craigslist.
