Im a new resident, and thus far everything is excellent at this place. It was because of the Google reviews that I stopped by to check it out a few months ago.New construction, high quality materials in the units, good sound isolation, good amenities. Ive lived in buildings like this before, good and bad, and this is a good one. You can tell the staff cares. The location is fantastic, as are the views if youre on the west side. Get used to sirens though :)This is not a cheap place to live but you definitely get what you pay for.Everything has been communicated clearly to me from the staff since day 1 regarding any lease stipulations, rules, regulations, etc. There was a fair amount of staff turnover in a short time, so I had to be a bit more on the ball about a couple of things leading up to move-in, but everyone in the process has been friendly, responsive and professional. Will update this after a few months! I feel very fortunate to have gotten in here...its filling up!

I just moved out of my apartment - such tears! This was an amazing place to live, perfect location, with extremely attentive management. The staff goes out of their way to help when they can (including going to UPS personally to return my wifi modem when I had already moved hours away - Lauren, you are a wonder-woman!). The apartments themselves feel high-end (love the 2-tone paint and stainless steel appliances) - the first month I moved in, I had to pinch myself that this was MY place. 10/10 would recommend.

We have been so happy here. We have made wonderful friends. We love the office staff. The pool is beautiful and clean. We join all of the activities. I have to give this sweet place 5 stars. Our furry pals have been comfortable and welcome, too. I must say I like being able to stroll into town and walk to Mission Health so the location is nice as well!

I’ve been at Beaucatcher since a few months after it opened (about 18 months) and it’s been a wonderful home. The apartments are beautiful and spacious. The view is incredible. The staff are friendly and helpful. It’s easy to get downtown- you can walk if you are willing to hike uphill a little or it’s a cheap Uber. Lots of cute pups live here too. Highly recommend!

This is a Beautiful property and I am very happy with my choice to live here. It is very convenient to downtown and all of the local hospitals as well. The staffing team has been more than professional. I am always greeted with a smile and they are always extremely helpful in any needs I may have. I love the recreational areas on the property and can not wait till the rest of them open for the season. I appreciate that if I do have a concern they quickly try and resolve it. My neighbors are extremely friendly and seem to be happy with there decision to live here as well. Emily the Community Manager does and exemplary job at running Beaucatcher Flats and I want to thank her for all that she does.

Nothing says luxury like a never emptied dog poop trash can and parking straight out of the wild west... not to worry theyll send out emails about picking up after your pup or get fined and god forbid a fire truck ever need to show up and couldnt squeeze past 4 illegally parked cars like last week... oh well :(

It’s be been living here for approximately 2 years.Comfortable and convenient with a major and serious flaw....Very nice amenities, friendly staff, great appliances, convenient location, fantastic views. Mostly decent neighbors, too.I’m solo with one car, so I’m good. But it’s a common complaint that there is not enough parking if you’ve got more than 1 in your household. It would be nice if unmarked parking outside of the spots on the north side of the building was enforced, however, as it blocks the flow of things. However, walls between units are paper thin. There is no privacy here. It’s one thing to hear your neighbor’s TV during waking hours, but say goodbye to sleep if your neighbors snore.I can’t even blame them, really. It’s just noise of everyday life. I also don’t mind noise on the weekends as it’s a younger and more festive crowd here, but I haven’t been able to get sleep in my own bedroom from the snore-induced shaking. For the amount of $$$ this place is demanding, you’d expect they’d spend a little more insulating the units from each other.Again, it’s not just a little noise, here or there. You can literally hear the conversations of the neighbors using their “inside” voices, and they will hear most of what you say and most of what you do.Shoutout to the maintenance guy(s?), though. Very responsive and prompt. Really appreciated their help sometime ago.

I am a travel nurse and my company rented an apartment at Beaucatcher Flats for me during my contract. My experience has been very good, and I recommend living here. The residents and staff are very friendly and supportive, and this complex is very safe. I am from New England, and our cost of living is very high. For having a pool, weight room, pet spa & bike rack and access to downtown, the price is very reasonable compared to other areas around the US and Asheville area . Thank you to everyone in this community for being so friendly and helpful during my time here.

My wife and I really like our apartment. We got here in August and have found the staff to be very welcoming and helpful. Its been nice that they organize events for the residents that are actually fun to go to. My personal favorites are the BBQs and thirsty Thursdays... But they do a bunch of different stuff so theres really something for everyone. It definitely helps give the building a much homier vibe.

Really disappointing... we signed our lease for a certain rate per month (obviously) and on our first month our rent bill was almost 150 more than what we were sold because of service fees and admin fees. All I can say is if we had seen this number before signing we wouldnt have.... I hope this kind of corporate apartment management isnt a sign of things to come for Asheville living...now that the city is growing all these big companies wanna get a share and they dont fit the mindset of Asheville at all. Would HIGHLY NOT RECOMMEND. YOU CAN FIND CHEAP HOUSING IN SMALL HOUSES. AVOID APARTMENTS.*The only plus to this complex is the maintenance man is really nice and does his job well. 5 stars for him.. The rest of it... 0 stars..

As a regular apartment it would be decent, and the staff are great. But this place is marketed as a Hassle Free living experience and this is far from the truth. As an average adult with two separate two jobs it happens that we have two separate cars. Which, we arent allowed to park both of them in the parking lot for this peachy Hassle Free Experience. You have to now walk to the other side of the property to a mulch area for the pet park in which we once had on both sides. Youre threatened with fees at every corner of the building. As an apartment theyre average. But as someone who markets themselves as hassle free Id like to see it stepped up about 20 notches. In concerns to the response, no it was not very clear in the lease actually on one of the last pages in the late 20s after also taking the information for both of our vehicles. Also this beautiful scenery that you are talking about is in the back where you see a brick wall and as of now cars... So thank you for your false response. I can upload pictures of both if youd like to continue. Also the suggested new parking area is across the street up a very large hill very hassle free if you ask me. and is also half a new parking zone and connected to a high traffic safety vehicle area and can potentially be unsafe during the local baseball games where also I cannot find a parking spot because individuals have taken the street parking and im not allowed to park into my apartments parking spots.Secondary PS. 5/17/18- Parking has gotten even worse. If you have two cars you are expected to park on the hill behind (my view... Now cars are my amazing view) and there is so many cars that they do not fit within the no parking- tow away zone, 26 cars to be exact ) and I risk getting my car towed if I park within the 17 free spots in the actual parking or by the city on the hill. This supposed pet friendly apartment also leaves no spots for animals to play or use the bathroom except for one single mulch spot on the side of a hill and expect the dogs to not pee walking by the two grass patches you must pass before you get to the mulch. Very pet friendly and hassle free right? There is so many simple things that could have been done to help. Leave one grass area for pets, heck even tell me before you post signs everywhere. Tell me about the parking situations and see if we can all work together to find a way to work it out. Heck not try to explain definitions of pet friendly. when I get upset because my puppy cannot go play in the grass. There is one hundred and one ways we could have worked together to make this place great but instead theyd rather post notices in my door and give me definitions. I was so happy to first move in and now I cant wait to get out and would never recommend this place. But on the positive side. If you have one car and live on the front. Youre close to downtown and honestly do have one heck of a view. OtherwiseI would always highly recommend against this place. And lastly, To the owners reading this, I wish you wouldve just been more thorough with talking it through it with us. As a resident I would have been so much happier and even love to throw out ideas to work with you.

I’m not sure what has changed... whether it’s the new residents they’re leasing to or a management issue beaucatcher has gone from a once great place to live to a literal trash dump. People leave their full trash bags in common areas, dog poop is everywhere, the trash cans for the dog poop are overflowing and the complex’s garbage container is over flowing like a mountain of trash... I posted a picture of my view from my livingroom... nothing says luxury like a hot overflowing trash dump in the middle of summer.

Where do I Start? let me start with the positive. Amazing views if you are lucky enough to score an apt facing the. mountains. The staff that work here are extremely friendly. However, the developer/owners of this building only saw $$ signs when the built this property. The parking lot only allows parking for 1 space per unit when they have several units that are two bedrooms. If you have more then one car or like to have guest visit you, they will have to park on a hill above the apartments. I have had to Uber home because the street parking is extremely limited and fills up every night leaving residence or guest with zero options for parking. If you have more then one person that owns a car in your family good luck with juggling one space.Do you like paper thin walls? Do you like to hear your neighbor every time they walk to their bathroom or make a meal in their kitchen? Do you want to hear your neighbors favorite tv shows? If so then this is the place for you! The walls here are so thin that basically we are at the mercy of our neighbors schedule. I have had many sleepless nights do to cheap construction of these apartments.Do you like the smell of trash in your hallway every time you come home? Well here you can get that! They decided that it was a good idea to not have a trash shoot, so every night all your neighbors put their trash outside their doors for a pick up service....remember the hallways are inclosed here. Its not at all uncommon to have your neighbors trash piled up for hours next to your door before the trash guy collects it. The smell and the visual reception you have when coming home at night is far from hassle free living or a luxury experience. They also charge you for an extra for trash pick up.This place looks good from the outside, but unfortunately doesnt deliver a hassle free living experience.

For what they claim is ‘hassle free Living’ this place is a joke. First of several issues that surfaced after I had moved in is the pet area, it was on a small patch of grass out front and a small fenced in part in the back. Both of those areas have been banned or removed and the pet area has been moved to a mulch cover hill. Completely sideways hill. Second, the valet trash that you are required to pay extra for comes with extensive regulations, no pick ups on weekend, restrictions and endless threat of fees. Everything comes with a threat of fees. Including a fee for an electric bill problem they took responsibility for but still haven’t issued me a refund. Finally the cherry on top of this Hassle free living is half way into our lease they are ready to give out parking passes. Finally. BUT ONLY ONE PER APARTMENT. Who pays for a 1300$ a month apartment with two people on the lease but only has one car? They claim this should have been explained to us when we were signing but infact the exact opposite, we were told we would get two parking passes, we put two cars on the damn lease but in the fine print there is infact a tiny blurb about 1 car per apartment(page 26/35), and now they’re telling me one of us has to park down on the street of biltmore ave. Or on the hill behind us where the ambulances come out and that turns to ice several times a year. All other surrounding parking is owned and towed by Mission. There are two future leasing spots that the staff usually is parked in, but is a tow away zone. They knew going into this that this problem would arise they just didn’t care. They put an all new leasing staff in on the day it was implemented so we get the same answer of ‘the old staff should’ve told you this was going to happen.’ I don’t think expecting a leasing company to be upfront with me is too much too ask for. And If the management company respondes to this with ‘its in your lease, or the old staff should’ve told you’ I’m going to loose it. *side note that the maintenance guy is great*
