Alex is the reason I’m giving this place a 5. Excellent service by an excellent human in general. Great conversation and always goes above and beyond.Last time I had David though and saw a few other comments AFTER I let him cut my hair. Listen to these comments and either don’t let that man touch your hair or bring a hat. Still wearing mine 1 month later . The shape of my hair line was completely different post haircut.

David cut my hair and this very well could’ve been the first ever haircut he gave. His hands are constantly shaking a lot and multiple time massive amounts of hair gel down my shirt. Way overpriced, not professional, and David should be removed. He didn’t understand the basics of cutting hair. I told him not to touch the top and he tried to line up the front of my hairline were I comb it over. It looks absolutely terrible and now I’ll have baby hairs growing in for awhile. DO NOT LET DAVID CUT YOUR HAIR.

I love Sondes! I followed her from the original Willy’s location on Wilson to this new location even though it is a further drive from where I live.She has been my barber for years. She remembers exactly how I want my hair cut and delivers every time. The hot lather neck shave to finish things off is a nice touch. She is quick, efficient, warm, and friendly.I will continue to come to her as long as she is here!

Went here for the first time and was thoroughly impressed! Some barbers/stylists spend half the time standing and chatting, but Esther worked on my hair throughout the entire 30 minute appointment and it shows. One of the best haircuts I’ve had. I will be returning and recommending to friends!$25 cut, by the way. Good price for the area.

Ahh yes, I feel really great after my first visit 🥰 Apart from a spacious, very clean, covid-safe environment, the atmosphere had fresh vibes. I felt relaxed entirely but the service... Top-freaking-notch🙌🙌. I called an hour before close, they graciously accepted me and proceeded with top quality care and never rushed (to close). I had a nice hot coffee while Sondes did an excellent job with everything. She did exceptionally well with my new hair 😝 and took great care with my thinning hair. I will absolutely be going back regularly.

Willys Barber Shop is the best! Only 3 blocks from my home, its location is great. Today was my 3rd haircut with Alex and I have been very pleased with his work. He was attentive and precise while he worked on my hair and I am a somewhat vain and very picky about my . In addition, his station was clean and very well organized,, as was the rest of the shop. I plan on going to Willys and Alex whenever it is time for a haircut. I strongly recommend Willys. You cant go wrong!

By far the roughest and most painful shave Ive had in my life. The barber - David, couldnt keep his hands still. My experience with the other people at the shop has been positive but I dont think Ill be going back again.

The two men barbers are unprofessional and rude to customers. The place is a total chaos, they expanded the business but they don’t know how to manage the increased demand. On top of that, bad haircuts. I came here three times and each time I get out of the shop with a different haircut. To be fair the two ladies are nice, but the place is a mess.

One of the roughest and worst haircuts I’ve ever had. I asked for a half inch off the top and the man had hands that absolutely could not stay still. He cut off a ton of my hair, unevenly. I dont know if he’s actually ever cut hair before and I don’t know how this ppace has such high ratings, but beware of the man working there.

The stylist were very nice and the establishment was super clean. The lady who cut my sons hair nicked him several times and the b cut just didnt look good. She didnt comb or brush his hair; during, before or after.If you dont know how to cut black hair, just say that. Time for some employee training Willy 🥲

Both locations for Willys are awesome. Have never had a bad cut. They ask what you want and take the time to cut it right. The service is professional and the place is very clean. Highly recommend both locations.

Sondes at Willys Barber Shop 2 off Columbia Pike in Arlington gave my daughter the best hair cut she has ever received. My daughters hair is curly and tangles easily, but Sondes easily worked through the tangles and cut her hair to the perfect length so that it looked great and was still manageable. Ive previously tried other overpriced hair dressers and none compare to the quality of service I received at Willys 2 Barbershop. The price was less than expected so I had to leave a tip. From now on my daughter will only be going to this location because I am so happy with the service received.

I had been getting my haircut at the original Willys Barbershop since 2015. Ms. Sondes has been cutting my hair for the last two years, so when she told me they were opening up a new location and was moving, I had to follow. The new location is great! Its much more open and spacious, with the same services and attention to detail.

First time visiting this barbershop. I’ve had several disappointing experiences at other places. Esther did a great job. She cut my hair exactly how I asked. Will definitely return.

Very understanding and patient. I came with 2 kids and they entertained one with candy and stayed calm with my baby when we were cutting his hair. He’s a fussy one and they just took their time and went with the flow. I would def coke again.

I came in for a haircut and beard trim, the first professional haircut Ive gotten in over 6-months. The barber was very professional and competent, she mentioned she had worked 9-years at a previous location on Wilson Boulevard. She took the time up front to understand the style I wanted. The result is the best haircut Ive gotten in years.The shop is very friendly and accessible, they treated me like a guest, not a number. Theres a chair designed for young children getting their first cut, and the staff freely offer drinks and small snacks. There were plenty of metered parking spots on the street out front.Pricing was competitive for a good cut, I definitely got my moneys worth.The shop is taking COVID-19 prevention precautions very seriously - everything is very clean, theres plenty of space for social distancing, and the staff wore the appropriate PPE throughout the visit.Overall a great experience, I highly recommend Willys Barbershop 2.

I am very happy to recommend Willys Barbershop 2. Sondes has been cutting my hair at the original location in Ballston for years -- shes the best. She cuts my kids hair as well (two teenage boys) and they also agree that shes great. Yes, thats right, two teenage brothers agree on something! Each of us has very different hair but we all come out looking sharp.The new shop is beautiful (see photo), spacious, and set up well for social distancing. We all wore masks and felt very safe. Theres a fridge full of cold drinks, and even a candy dish -- nice touches.I highly recommend Sondes and her new shop!

I went in and got my first (professional)haircut since the pandemic started.Immediately upon waking in I was great by all the staff and offered a cold drink from their refrigerator. Despite calling in 30 minutes prior, there was only a 5 minute or so wait for my haircut.My Barber was Sondes and my haircut was very professional and at a reasonable price.I plan to keep going back.

Alex, gave me a great cut for my wedding tomorrow. Great customer service. He also has the versatility in being able to cut multiple different types of hair. I had a two white guys in front of me. They both got the Cowlick hairstyle, and they looked great. He even has styling agents.

Great experience today, Alex gave me a much needed cut and it is definitely professional but not boring! Super nice guy as well.The shop itself is clean and airy with lots of natural sunlight. Masks required but it was not uncomfortable or awkward at all, despite lots of clipper action around the ears. Highly recommended.

I have been a loyal costumer for more than eight years coming from Maryland to have a very nice haircut by the very skillful Sondes who has a Paul Mitchell diploma. I followed her from the old place at Ballston to the new place at Columbia Pike. It is very accessible with available parking. I am well received with free drinks and chocolate. I highly recommend this fancy place and especially Sondes!

I have to get a haircut every for my job, one Sunday I didnt go get one in the morning and I was struggling to find a barbershop. I saw on Google they were open and headed over. Alex did such an amazing job my brother decided to get his hair cut as well, he walked out with a great undercut! I have been back 2 more times and each time is the same quality and professionalism.

This review is very overdue. Day before Thanksgiving and its late evening. I realized we would be taking photos and my sons hair was so overgrown. Willy himself not only took us in after hours, but gave my son one of the best haircuts ever! Willys kindness and generosity is not something I will soon forget.
