This is the best barbershop in Arlington! Anis is a world class barber, he makes sure to listen and cut my hair EXACTLY how I ask him every time. I would highly recommend Anis to anyone as he not only does a wonderful job, he is also very timely! Go check them out!

Came to Anis as usual for a clean hair cut with fade. Showed him a picture this time not my usual style but he delivered with perfection. Damn I recommended this place to everyone I know. I normally drive 18 mins to get my hair cut that speak something.

I’ve gone here a number of times. Any of the barbers will do a great job. I’ve always been satisfied with my cut. As of 2021, haircuts are $25, cash only (there is an ATM in the shop).As a woman with short hair, I’ve never felt judged going here, so that’s great.

Very welcoming and quaint old-school barber shop that just gets everything right. The location is both close to home and the city for those urban types who live and work inside the beltway - its just very accessible. The service is top notch, both warm and welcoming and professional all in one even stroke. Definitely going to be a return visit in the near future.

Top Notch. Dropped in and Habib just gave me one of the best cuts of my life. Showed him a photo of what I wanted and whoosh! We were off to the races. Super happy. Also, might be the nicest barber ever, very kind.

I live in DC, and I go all the way to Clarendon to Willy and Habibs every month for a haircut because theyre the best in the DMV. You cant go wrong at any chair. Theyre all great. Great friendly atmosphere too.

My husband and boys have gone to Habib for years and in the words of my 14yo “I’d give Habib 10/10 stars.” [pause] “Waaaay better than any Hair Cuttery”. If you can generate a positive review from a teenager, you KNOW it’s good! We’ve sat in all the chairs here and can attest it’s THE BEST! You’ll be in good hands.

I’ve been coming to Willy & Habib’s since I moved to the area nearly three years ago. The staff is awesome and the prices are great compared to most barber shops. I’ve never had a bad experience and I look forward to coming each month and seeing everyone. I consider the team my friends and think that they epitomize the ideal community small business. I’ll never go anywhere else for as long as I live in DC!

These are the best barbers that I have ever came across in my 30 years of being on this earth. Every time I come to the barber I feel like his family and they treat you very well. While my son got a great haircut today, I watched as another barber in the shop found a way to cut the hair of a very young toddler who was scared but who left with smiles, thanks to this wonderful guy’s way with kids and his compassion and concern. He was so kind and friendly, and brought out toys, videos, songs, whatever it took. This blew me away. Such human warmth. Well done.

Great place to get your haircut. Moved to Arlington from DC right before the pandemic hit and I was looking for a place to get my haircut so I gave Willy & Habibs a try and could not have gone better. They sanitize everything before you sit down and the service is phenomenal. Will definitely be back!

Jose cuts a terrific hair. I was months overdue for a cut, and gave him convoluted guidance on what I was looking for. He knew exactly what to do with it. He was meticulous and took his time on every step. The cut looks excellent.The shop itself clean and comfortable. Only about 10 minutes of wait on a Sunday afternoon. There were muted TVs playing the world cup, with some classic latin music in the background.

I really wanted to like this barbershop. It has great reviews and is walking distance to my house. It was fairly crowded with walk-ins so I imagine the other barbers are better. The barber I had was not good at all. He was the chair to the right of Habibs. I put gel in my hair in the mornings so when I get it cut the barber usually sprays it down with water so he can work with it. This guy did not do that. He just hacked away with thinning scissors. At the end, my hair wasnt combed or styled or anything until I asked him to do it. That means to me, he didnt mind what I looked like when I walked out of the shop. Also I told him I needed a beard trim. When it was time to pay, he charged me for a shave, because he used a straight razor to do the lines. Ended up being more expensive than others in the area for less quality. Again, the other barbers at the shop might be better, but this guy really soured me on this place.

Having your haircut done by Anis is a must If you go to Willy & Habib’s Barber shop. Skilled, Anis has always been the best barber. This guy is fast, smart and professional! I always ask him for a fade haircut and he always exceeds my expectations!!

I cannot overstate how unhappy I am with the haircut I got. Ive been mulling over whether to write a review for some time, since December at least, but the persistent unhappiness and displeasure of waking up to see my face with the haircut they gave me pushed me over the edge.Ive been going to Willy & Habibs since I first heard about them, and Ive had a number of good haircuts there. In fact, the current haircut is not a bad haircut from a technical perspective, but it isnt the haircut I asked for or wanted. It is, in many respects, the antithesis of what I requested.Prior to my last haircut, I had hair about 6 inches long, styled in a very particular way. I had let it grow out over more than half a year. I decided to have it trimmed back by one inch, to approximately five inches, and to have the sides made very short with an undercut. I was prepared for something slightly different from what I wanted, since during my previous haircut the barber flat out refused to cut the sides and back to the length I wanted (he insisted on using a 2 instead of a 1 - but I could live with that since it was the first time they didnt do exactly what I wanted).But this time the barber hacked off more than three inches. I dont know why. When I gave my instructions, I explicitly stated that I wanted an inch off the longest part of the top, and I showed the barber where I wanted my hair to reach both by pointing and by pulling my hair to indicate how far it needed to go. He even acknowledged what I told him, repeating my own words back to me, before he started. This is why it baffles me: there was no ambiguity in my request, no give me a mens cut, or I want it short, but a little longer on top. I showed them the length I wanted, told them to cut one inch, and used the same instructions Ive used in the past when theyve successfully cut my hair.The thing that really angers me is that they cut away half a year of hair growth as Ive moved toward the style I wanted. I know some people think of a haircut as a whatever kind of thing, but I think of the cost in time to regrow my hair, until I look the way I want again, and I imagine the amount Ive spent on haircuts with them to get to the point where my hair was finally reaching my goal, only to have it cut short by their incompetence or carelessness. I have to live with every day that I wake up to a haircut I dont like and didnt want. This is not fun. It is not fun to dislike the way you look in the mirror.Finding good barbers, who listen to you and know what theyre doing, is surprisingly tough in this area. I really thought Willy & Habibs was the one. Theyre cheaper than Hendricks, and they seemed better than most of the other mens barbers in the area. I used to look forward to going to them.I wont be going there anymore. If I explicitly show them what I want, pull my hair and point at the exact length I want it to go, and they cant even follow instructions as simple as that, then I dont feel I can trust them to cut my hair again. I want to like how I look when I come out of barber, not despise it.In short, I dont recommend them.

Every time I go to get a haircut Im greeted with smiles. The barbers are friendly and know what they are doing. One of them is a 4th generation barber, you can trust him!

Love this place. The woman I see there that does my hair also does a great job and its a great deal for the price.I didnt have enough cash on hand to pay one day and forgot my debit card number. They accepted my excuses, and when I came back a few days to pay them back, they reacted with nothing but kindness.

Today I have visited this place to get a haircut for my son, once he is deaf he is always show a pic of how he want his haircut to look like, unfortunately after 6 pm they were still working on him, the manager got very upset and complain to us for the delay, really? put it on the customer, he was nasty and aggressive to me after I have complain back for his poor service and lack of customer service skill. When they finish I was charged 25 dollars instead of 20. I will definitely not recommend this place to no one until this nasty guy run the business

Habib is the best around. He had a great smile and welcome as usual. He cut my hair with the same care and attention as usual. I enjoy his personality and humor and genuine caring about his customers.

Habib cut my hair for the 1st time last week, and I have to say its the best cut Ive had since moving to the area last August. I have been looking for someone that I can rely on to give me a quality haircut, consistently. Habib is also extremely nice, the shop is immaculately clean. I also didnt wait longer than 10 minutes before I got in the chair. Habib will have my business from now on!
