I recently moved in at the end of August and we feel so at home here!! Jayme, the leasing manager went above and beyond to help us with our application and move in process! Very kind, professional, answered all our questions and had great suggestions for renters insurance and electric. We are so happy to make this place out home π thank you Jayme!!
The ladies of Westmount at Forest Oaks helped me and my children from homelessness. They actually love and care for their tenants. They make sure that they take care of you as long as you take care of your business. I advise anyone to come find your home at Forest Oaks. You will love it here!!
Just recently relocated to the area for my job. Online searched and read reviews for several building and was content with Forest Oaks. The online process was quick and easy. I flew down to see the area and apartment in person before my complete move. Great location, close to everything. I was happy the area was gated but disappointed it wasnt working when visiting and even more disappointed when I moved in and they still was up and running. It is quiet for the most part. The ladies in the office were very nice and professional. I will continue to update as time goes on since i have only been here less than a week.

The apartment is nice besides the fact that they donβt fulfill any of the maintenance requests. The roads and parking lot are horrible. You can hear everything youβre neighbors upstairs are doing too. Management isnβt any better a 16 year old can do their, job they never answer the phones either.
I been here over 4 years I have no complaints very nice quiet place to stay the rent is not expensive compared to other places the front office has been very professional would recommend anyone to stay here !
This is my first time writing a review about anything. I would not recommend this property to anyone, the property is not the pictures thats advertised!!!!!!!!! I have been here only 2 months and i have yet to recieve a mailbox key . Everytime i ask about it they always say next week i been waiting on next week since i moved in. I have minor things that needs to be fixed in my apartment, i was told to put in a work order so i did so and no one has came to see about it . On top of that the office NEVER answer phone calls !!!! This property is not worth the $985 im paying monthly at all i dont want to give them any stars but i have to give at least one to post my review
This complex has changed hand twice in the three years Ive lived here. Whether thats a good or bad thing Ill let you decide. The front gate has never worked in my time but Ive never felt unsafe living here as a single woman until recently when my cars catalytic converter was stolen. Ok, I can honestly say the Manager & Leasing agent are helpful and will work with you, the Maintenance can be improved some but thatβs because they are short staff. Soon will have help on the property
This place is horrible. The staff is horrible. Maintanance seems to be understaffed. My daughter lives there and her water in shower has been off for 3 days. She was told this is not an emergency,. She cannot turn on the shower or run bath water, Maybe the staff dont bathe but bathing is very important and this is not right. This is inhumane. When asked about their corporate office they do not give any info, Bette Business should shut this place down.
Never answer phone calls, got affected by COVID-19 and will be late on your rent? Youβll still receive a eviction notice. I was really happy about moving here but Iβm trying to contact the office and thereβs no way you can leave a voice mail to receive a call back, plus employe there is always in a bad mood.
The leasing agent is always rude and has an attitude whenever she does answer the phone. I called to put in a work order and she said ok didnβt even ask my name or apt number. Tested positive for covid and missed work and was told they werenβt doing anything to assist and eviction would still be filed.
I have been living here for 3 months since March 2020 and I can say this place has a bad review for a reason. The management is horrible, unprofessional and rude. They will put you in an inconvenient situation and expect that you understand.Since I have moved in:1. In the first 3 days. They gave me a unit that couldnt be entered into when it rained because the walk way (up to my door) get flooded. I complained and they transferred me.2. They messed up my account balance and gave me a warning for eviction when I didnt default on my rent. I brought this to their notice first week of April 2020. It is May and it hasnt been fixed. Even though I have continued to reach out to them.3. It took a month after I moved in for them to give me a working mailbox.4. Stuff are stolen here. I had a package delivered and it was stolen.Dont move in If you are looking for a home where you can have peace of mind.I will continue to update this review with my experiences.UPDATE 19/05/2020I am obligated to reply since, in reply to my initial review, the management has made 3 false claims. I have screenshot that response so it is not edited (picture 1).1. βThe irrigation βconcernβ was rectified within the week of your move-inβ.After I transferred out of the old unit and into the new unit, they claimed they had fixed the flooding problem within a week of my move out. However, I went back there to check May 16, 2020 and found the problem still exists. What is most surprising is that they had given the next unit (also directly affected by the flood) to someone. Picture 2 shows flooding March 18 2020 and Picture 3 shows flooding May 16, 2020.2. βI donβt see where there was ever an eviction filed on youβ.This is so misleading. Picture 4 shows a copy of a βNotice to vacate for non-payment of rent, utilities or other sumsβ as I have claimed earlier. This was signed by Ms. Jamie, the property manager.3. βI was unaware you had a package taken from your apartment homeβ.This is also false. The package taken from my home was a ~$2000 laptop purchased for work during the COVID-19 shelter in place order. I reported this to the police and communicated this to the property via email on April 19, 2020.Fixing the management mistakes on paid services is not an βaccommodationβ or βassistingβ your tenants as per our mutual contract. The care and concern shown in the managementβs response to my review are false and hasnβt been shown for my experience in all my communication with them. My account balance still hasnβt been fixed.UPDATE 17/06/2021May 7th, I got a call from a debt collection company. They are saying I owe Westmount at forest oaks $467.43 for pro-rated charges. My residence account says I do not owe them, I went to the property manager, Jamie to report this and she says I do not owe anything and it will be investigated. I called the office multiple times after a week because I went out of town and they refused to pick my calls. To avoid a negative effect on my credit, I paid the debt. More than a month now and I have never gotten the result of the investigation and/or a documented clarification of the mistake.THIS APARTMENT IS THE WORST I HAVE BEEN IN.
Ive been living at Westmount for over 3 yrs now and never been late on my rent...I put my money order in Jamie hand and it magically disappeared and her and the Jayme told me it was my responsibility to find something that they lost...i wouldnt advise anyone to move here...staff is rude and unprofessional!
Donβt make this place your home..,This place has gotten worse as the days go by .... I used to love living here it was quite and nice and the people at the office was awesome... now we have new management and they are rude and threaten to call the cops on you when u ask questions about your place that you pay rent to live .. they tow your car without even letting the people know they changed tow companies... people break into your cars and they dont care .. i have been in customer service for over 35 years and never would treat someone they way they do .. I donβt know who owns this place but they donβt care either or about their residents... my air and heat donβt work and they donβt care ... so if your looking for a nice place to live I suggest you find another place!!
I pay $925.00 for what was suppose to be a 700+ sqft apartment but look like a 500+ sqft the living room suppose to be 13x11 but its not I measure it its actually a 10x9 my bedroom suppose to be 15x11 and its not I am super mad I HATE OT HERE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE

Please do not make this your home. I was stiffed out of 350.00 and I never even moved in. I was told I needed an extra depositπ€ with a 692 credit score, one when you apply and the other after you get the apartment approval. I was told before I applied that the deposit would be 250.00 unless prior eviction or bad credit, which I have neither, this property was not the best looking property and when I was applying, I should of listened to the resident that was in there trying to break her lease. Long story short I loss 350.00 because of the hidden fees that mysteriously popped up. I dodged a 12 month bullet. Please ask questions and be informed of what you are signing. This apartment will take your money, read everything and even then be cautious. Alajandra Cortez stated that the charge for xtra deposit came from a third party company. She didnβt even know the name. But when I called to check on status before approval, she was saying she was waiting on leasing manager to come up with move in fees. This is for the weak and stupid. Please donβt be fooled.Should of listened to the reviews!!!!!!
I wouldnt recommend this apartment at all. Being there for 1 year does it. They never get to you about fixing the problems in the apartment, got my car broken into 2 times. They finally put in a gate after we bothered them about security but they did that right after our lease was up in 2 months and its still doesnt work yet. There is never security there even if they say there is but the only come once in a blue moon like 2 times since we been there.They bugs are fun to deal with even if you dont get to it right away. They seem to have new management every 5 months it seems. I wish you luck to have them actually be nice to you or they just sarcastically talk to you. The fun part is when our lease was up the New apartments was trying to get into contact with this place and never even picked up the phone or so called was to busy or the fax machine is broken or I didnt get that email.. ((F.Y.I This place is never busy..their just lazy to me.)) It seems they care a lot on how there place looks like outside then inside.. Never in my life this apartment was that bad, and people in the reviews just had bad management or over exaggerated.. I believe them this place is the worst..So If you want to deal with water leaks, car break ins, bugs, Rude management, horrible security....Then this place is for you...

I moved in westmont forest oaks in February. THE WHOLE CREW WAS UNPROFESSIONAL. NOW the clouds are beginning to open. THIS IS THE BEAT APARTMENT COMPLEX EVER NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEM WITH THEM I CAN ALWAYS COME IN HERE AND I FEEL LIKE I MADE A GREAT DECISIONS AND I LOVE OUR NEIGHBORS.
I dont know where to start .. ROACHES ARE TERRIBLE ! maintenance is horrible. They dont fix anything in a timely manner. Too many strangers just walking around all times of the night. I DO NOT FEEL SAFE ! Someone broke into a neighbors car and stole his radio. They werent always this bad but I definitely regret waisting my money for the last year or so.
My experiences with this complex have gotten progressively worse over time. Old Management was poor but this new management chain is even worse.
Just called like 5 minutes ago. Was actually thinking about renting here. But the lady Denise blew it. Rude and trying to talk to people like they are stupid. Very unprofessional attitude. Cant even answer simple questions in a decent manner. Definitely making this company lose money.
If you move here this must be your last resort.... Horrible management... They dont fix nothing. They will try and cheat you out your money.... Me and a couple more residents are about to start a petition. From experience you will be better moving to hell

As soon as our lease is up we will be moving. Nothing is fixed in a timely manner. Weed can smelled in the air vents all the time. Multiple times we have no hot water. Then we get extra because they have a leak. Not happy at all. Music booming below us til all over. If you are a party person this is the place for you. If you work and like to have relaxation when you come home, then you better have a plan in mind!
Ive been living here a little over 6 months and it is the most horrible place ever. First the water bill is $200 a month for a 2 bedroom 2 bath. I lived in a 3 bdrm 2.5 bath house before this and my bill was never over $75. Its ridiculous. Secondly the roaches OMFG!! They are ridiculous. No matter how clean you keep your apt, bleach, bombing, etc this pace is INFESTED!! Dont move here!!
Not sure what the other reviews are talking about. Granted, Ive only lived here a couple weeks so far. The staff has been really helpful. i wish i could remember their names but i want to say Judith, Percilla and maybe an Ashley.. not sure if those are right or spelled right. but theyre awesome so far. i can say the folks living here that Ive met are cool, the place is nice, they gotta pool & grill, playground for kids, 24 hour gym, laundry facility, area for walking dogs, its right down the street from Arlingtons entertainment district. im not sure how people can find a way to not appreciate it but again, ive only been here since mid October. if im wrong ill update this review. its gonna be a yes from me dawg.
Just called to get pricing a gay guy by the name of Matthew answered the phone . He was rude and would not give me pricing without getting detailed info. About me . After I told him I do not want to give my phone number he arrogantly said βok well itβs on the caller ID thanksβ from that point I did not like his customer service and told him so and he hung up . So by that I will believe the negative reviews Iβm reading and take my money else where. *Update * just to prove a point he called me back and did not say anything and then hung up. For him to act like that knowing that these are potential residence calling is pathetic I will be calling corporate on him.
About 2 weeks ago I called the office to let the staff know that I may have a mice or something in my apartment. I had a bag of popcorn on the counter that was not popped, still wrapped in plastic the next morning I woke up and it was on the floor next to my dishwasher. Surprisingly pest control was coming out that day so they added me to the list. Needless to say they put out 1 trap and apparently sprayed. They said they would come back the following Monday, not sure if it was done or not. I went to get my cleaning supplies from under the sink and when I opened the cabinet shreddings of paper from the bleach and other supplies were falling out as well as a hole under my sink I went to the office to let them know and office staff was rude cut me off and said well pest control said they did not find anything, I let her know about the hole she said they would come and fix it. It has been over a week still nothing!! Last night while I am in my kitchen it runs out from under my refrigerator and under the dishwasher. I went to the office this morning to let them know they assistant manager did not let me get out what I was trying to tell her about the mice running out she tells me to fill out the request form. So I told her I wanted to speak with the manager and of course the manager was not available. I will not renew my lease here the new management is rude and maintenance is slow. I put in a request for a lock out and no one showed up. Luckily I wasnt locked out otherwise I would have had to sleep in my car!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!!! Rent must be paid by the 3rd of each month but when you have a problem it will not be fixed. I miss old management!!
Im a prospective tenant and I talked to someone in person yesterday who sat up an appt with me to meet me today to show me an apartment. I came for my appt on time and they were not ready. The apt that was supposedly ready to show was not and they already had someone to move in at noon and the apt wasnt ready for them to move in either. They are obviously unorganized and Have terrible communication skills. It wouldnt be that awful if I didnt drive in from Oklahoma where I live to make my appointment because Im relocating.
Renters beware roach infestation!I didnt get to see my unit before i moved in and when I got to it I was horrified. after spending my own money on high dollar roach killer and several different methods I found out my rights as a tenant and terminated the lease. PEOPLE LISTEN. DO NOT LET THEM TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU. KNOW YOUR RIGHTS AS A TENANT. IF THE PLACE IS UNSANITARY OR IN ANY WAY HARMFUL TO YOUR HEALTH OR WELL-BEING YOU CAN GET OUT OF THE LEASE. TURN THE KEYS IN IMMEDIATELY. WRITE A LETTER STATING WHY AND WHERE IT SAYS IN THE LEASE AGREEMENT (31) UNDER THE TAA LEASE AGREEMENT. OUR RESPONSIBILITY AS IN THE APT.I FEEL LIKE THEY HAD NO IDEA WHAT WAS GOING ON WITH THAT APT. LIKE THEY KEPT telling me we would have someone go back and clean but i saw eggs droppings dead ones and live ones all in the fireplace woodwork and cabinetry of any kind. closer as well. it was horrible hundreds of live ones nesting huddled together in closets not to mention they showed us a nice unit WITH ice 2in faux wood blinds double pane Windows and we get to this apt it has old Windows I dont think there was a screen on few of them we were third floor I wanted vaulted ceilings. they dont look bad during the day but at night it was different. no parking by our building. trash everywhere. sect 8 housing. and nothing against ppl 8. some.people abuse it though growing up on welfare I know as a young child before my dad got custody of me people abuse it and move ppl in that are doing who knows what to get more income and they milk the system for profit etc.tyra and jan were nice but the apt was mis leading. their company held onto our deposit and move in special about 500 for a week. AND what if we had no other money. they are already causing us problems because now we had just found a place and are getting the keys today three wks later! so i would suggest beware. you never know what youre getting yourself into.

This has to be the most unprofessional complex I have ever lived at. And I hate I resigned another lease. First I like to start off by saying that my a.c. was broken for a little over a month. It took them another month to come to service it. The lady in the office named Ophelia told me on more than one occasion that my a.c. wasnt a priority because it was still cool outside....WTH!! Secondly I downsized here from a 2bdrm 2 bth with a $70 month water bill. Now I live in a 1bdrm 1bth with a $130 dollar water bill. They literally charge you by occupants not how much water you use. My neighbor directly across the street at another complex pays $17 a month for the exact same charges the tenants get at forest oaks. Something just doesnt add up to me. Not to mention we have been through several different property owners and management since I first moved in here back in 2015. They care more about the outter appearance more than the safety of their tenants and the insides of the units. I say that because it took them over 3 months to remove mold out of my apartment. I expressed a thousands times I was asthmatic and a had a small child that resided there as well and I didnt want us to keep breathing in all those toxic fumes. Only after I called the BBB on them did they start moving promptly. Im just so over them unprofessional people in that front office. They have changed the parking requirements 100 times. I cant wait until September....im running out of here like Usain Bolt. Please I beg you please find another property to call home. I never write reviews but I feel so strongly about the issues with this complex. You would be wasting your money. Good luck!!!

This apartment complex is rediculous maintenance is slow with nothing fixed the way it should. Due to there negligence we got water damage and had a huge hole in our ceiling, it took them 3 months to patch it up. Not to mention the new management staff is very rude and will throw you attitude even if there in the wrong, and will not let you know if there carrying package for you and will throw it at you even if it is fragile they have no care for anyones property, yet you still have to pay full rent even though your denied a service that is included. Im glad to be moving soon. If your looking for an apartment stay away unless its a last minute resort. as far as safety goes dont count on it tenants from the adjacent complexes break the fence to come over instead of walking around and will look through your vehicles... we were robbed twice for this and yet the complex has done nothing about it dont give this place a chance until they get better management.
The BIGGEST mistake I ever made was moving to this CRAPPY apartment!!! I complained about my water heater that BARELY gets warm but it took them 3 months to fix it! I dont know how many times I went to the office and complained until 1 day I had enough!!!! It was a torture taking a cold shower while its 30 degrees outside! But they are rude and DONT care about their residents! PLUS, there are some bugs and Cockroach and when I told the office they said they already sprayed the inside but why there are still insects inside?But I am trapped here until my lease is done !I wound NOT recommend this place!!!
