I went to Michaels for a hair cut because everyone else I went to did not cater to my needs. Michael is very professional and did a GREAT job! He also has good advice for hair problems. I will be coming here for my next haircut!

Micheal and son Shaun did a fantastic job cutting me and my boys hair today. They were extremely friendly and took the time to make sure they fully understood what we were hoping to achieve with the haircut. Never experienced that much attention at a barber shop. Great guys and very entertaining.

Michael has been this familys barber for many years. He is always courteous and personable. Michael is very skilled at both gentlemen and ladies hair styles and care. It is very important for him to understand your goal concerning your hair so that he can provide the best customer service. Recently, I have gone natural and went to Michael today to get my hair cut. WOW, what a difference! I absolutely love the high front, the tapered sides and faded nape of the neck (often referred to as the high and tight). My hair is a 4C which is the kinkiest hair type. Michael was able to cut my hair and provide a product that would alter my hair from kinky to curly. I am so amazed. Being a woman, it is very important to wear a short cut and still be feminine. Michael did the job. I will be back Mike!

What an amazing experience! Found this little shop through google ratings. Impressed! Took my son to get a haircut fixed (as it was not done well by a local chain) and Michael was very informative, knowledgeable, and professional about all aspects of boys/mens hair. We will be returning for regular cuts. Glad I finally found a local barber that I can trust! Before I went to Michaels Barbershop & Hair Care, I got my haircut at Great Clips. The women in my life complained at the bad job they did. I knew I had to see a real barber. I stopped by Michaels and he cut my hair just right. When I showed the women in my life my haircut by Michael they raved! They said do NOT go anywhere else. No problem. Michael and his staff are nice friendly folks and most importantly they know what they are doing when it comes to my hair.

Mike and Shawn do great work here. They believe in quality over quantity and I have never left the shop feeling like anything was overlooked with my haircut. Great people, great business and great haircuts. They are the only 2 people in the triangle that I will go to for haircuts.

That customer service started in the questions he asks about your hair emphasizing the important of daily maintenance.I have been in a slow growth pattern with my hair that was separated from my locs. I have several bald spots and needed a hair style/cut that would look flattering with my natural hair of many textures. I was motivated to seek out Michael thanks to Tawanna’s chic haircut.Well let me tell you I wasn’t disappointed. I love my haircut – my faded nape shows the tiniest coil of baby hair, my sides are sleek and tapered ending with a rounded slightly heightened front. My cut covers those bald spots and makes me feel amazing. He changed my life and yes I will be back!

I couldnt be happier.After a few failed haircuts at some of the larger hair styling chains, I decided to look for a barber. After searching google I chose to give Michaels Barber Shop a try and im glad I did.When I sit down for a haircut I run into two issues. I have difficult hair and it is difficult to explain the problems that my hair can cause when all Im asked is what length and style I want. Most stylists Ive dealt with ask these basic questions and jump right in. After being introduced to Michael, it didnt take long to realize that these issues wouldnt be a problem for him.The normal shop talk was quickly replaced with an expert observation and explanation of why my hair behaves the way it does and what the best method for cutting it would be. This was a two way conversation that gave me the opportunity to ask questions and describe the style I was shooting for. Afterwards I recieved a great cut. Exactly what I was hoping for.All in all it was a great experience with fast, precise service and good conversation. Michael is a true Barber and I am looking foward to future visits.
