I rarely post reviews anywhere, but this was the absolute worst haircut experience of my life. The owner of the shop agreed they screwed up and cut my hair poorly and she wished she could put hair back on my head.Knock on wood my hair grows back quickly - doesnt change the fact they suck at their job. Dont go here save your money and most importantly save your hair.

Very slow service... While I understand this particular location is busy... waiting 45 minutes for one of three stylists seems a bit long to me.

I have used this barbershop multiple times with different stylists. After explaining the type of fade I want multiple times they still seem to always go higher and higher. If you want to keep length on the sides and have anything less than a high fade go somewhere else.

Before I came to sports clips I had gotten a haircut in beaver creek that I did not like at all! So I went to sports clips to see if it could be fixed and my hair stylist did an amazing job on fixing it! I really appreciated her insight! She also gave me a discount for my troubles with a whole different haircut place!

Rosa - she’s the best stylist. She is consistent to give me the same cut that looks amazing every time! She is friendly and professional. The store is clean and efficient, but the main reason I go to Sports Cuts is for Rosa to give me a great haircut.

I had long hair, and I went in asking for them to take only around half an inch to a inch off of it so it would only be slightly shorter, and they ended taking around 2-3 inches off and leaving it patchy all over. worst haircut experience I’ve ever had. I’m never going back.

My stylist was right on target with what I requested. Also, she was very personable - really enjoyed the experience.

I have long hair and wanted to even it out so the back matched my front with a medium fade and my right side is longer than my other. My mom had to finish it off for me and even then it was still uneven. I am never coming back again and I don’t recommend going there unless you want a cut to loon unprofessional and not clean. Never coming back, just had to say that one more time.👎🏽

Checked in online, and was brought back within a minute of walking in the door. Flor did a great job, checked in often about how much I wanted cut, and she got everything just right! First visit you get the MVP treatment for free, which includes shampoo, a scalp massage and a steamed face towel treatment. Great first experience and will definitely come back next time!Edit: Have now gone again and saw Brandy, who also did a very good job!

Jennie did a fantastic job. I’m a woman, and was apprehensive of going to a salon catered towards men because I have long, thick hair. She did a great job and gave me helpful pointers for helping my scalp, which has some patches of eczema. Overall she made sure I knew what she was doing and was sure of what I wanted. I’m normally very picky about my hairstylists and I’m glad I got one who was so kind and professional.

Ask for Yolanda. I have been to seven different sports clips in my life and they all seem to do pretty decent. Yolanda at the sports clips in Apex North Carolina is by far and away the best stylist I’ve ever had cut my hair. My hair cut was perfect and she did not hit the mole I have on the back of my head like everybody else does after I tell them 100 times not to. The shampoo and massage is perfect as well. You cannot go wrong at this sports clips ask for Yolanda!

First time going to Sports Clips. Great haircut but disappointed that they couldnt do my beard because of Covid 19 rules.

I always get a great haircut, stylists are courteous/knowledgeable, and they support veterans!

As far as Spoets Clips go, this location stands out as one of the finest. The manager, Lola, really knows how to be fun and provide great service to customers. She set up a discount wheel for everyone and I managed to get a free MVP upgrade for my visit. She also made for great conversation and her massage was the best Ive ever had at a location. In my opinion, if you are in the area, drive past all the other locations to make it here because you simply get more for your time and money.

Didnt appreciate having the barber automatically assume that we were going to get the max treatment with the massage & shampoo, and start applying those extra services.

Laramie did a great job on my son’s hair. I gave 4 Stars because he didn’t get the warm towel treatment. I don’t know if it was because I had a coupon for a free hair cut or because he got a buzz cut. She was otherwise courteous and professional.

Lamarie Cut my hair. It was my first time here it was great to watch the sports on TV and she made me feel comfortable like I’ve known her forever. I will definitely be back . If you’re a guy or a girl who love sports And to watch it on TV while you get your haircut I don’t know why you would go anywhere else.

Great experience for my first visit! The hair stylist did a great job and was quite quick. I have very thin/light hair which can be hard to fade. I would recommend checking out this salon and I will be returning.

To put this into perspective, I overall love coming to this location. The staff are great and do a good job at providing quality haircuts. However, there is a disconnect between the online check-in/appointment queue and the business practice of the stylists. Case in point, I made an appointment through the google app which states “appointment” and selected my preferred stylist. It recommended that I be there at 11:07 am. I get a text at 10:54 that said my stylist will be ready in 10 mins. I walk in the door, say hello, and check-in for a second time. Then I look to see my wait time change to 26 mins. I was confused and aggravated that I arrived before 11:07 and a walk-in was put ahead of me in the queue. I asked the stylists how this works and they told me I should arrive 10 mins prior, and they don’t do appointments. So from my perspective is like this..., if the application states “appointment”, the recommended arrival time states 11:07 and you arrive at 11:05 but yet you lose your place in the queue? That doesn’t make any sense. Additionally, once you check in online it states the following “Please note- your online check in spot will be held for up to 30 minutes past your recommended arrival time.” So if the customer makes the effort to check in online to make an “appointment”, arrives before the recommended arrival time, and then asks the stylist how it works...this is the result. I recommend that management either removes the online queue or retrain the stylist to be in sync with what the customers see online. Everyone is busy, and if customers take the time to plan ahead, check in online, and arrive on time or earlier then they should not be removed from their “spot” in the queue. This is was disappointing...

Amazing haircut place with wonderfully friendly and sociable staff. Despite the sign charging for product recommendations, I have received numerous ones for free. The staff offer to fix any problems that may become evident with a haircut so you can rest easy knowing you will be treated well the first time around.

This place is great, takes away from the long wait at most places by having a game on the screen. My nephews loved it! Tracy was great with my nephews and receptive.

The women who work here were an absolute delight to work with. I brought both of my young sons and they received the VIP treatment! Great cuts, and also great customer service.

Once you get in everything is fine. The problem is that the wait times are kind of long. The two previous attempts had the wait times at 45 mins plus. Granted both of the visit were around 6pm but if that is the busiest times then have more than 2 stylists. Really enjoy getting my hair cut there but may have to find somewhere else. Another place I used to go to would let you call ahead for a time of arrival and when you checked in at that time you were the next on up.

Tracy cut my hair my hair today and it was exactly what I wanted. I look great and am very happy with the experience. They are also pleasant and friendly.

I got my hair cut last week, unfortunately the hair cut was terrible, the lady had grey hair and was bit smelly. she left my hair uneven and all jagged. Other than this my experience was fine all the other workers were great including the young man working there who greeted me with a smile.

This is the only place I have come to get my hair cut for the past year and Kaley had always done a great job. Great experience and having sports on TV will definitely keep me coming back!

I talked to Crystal about a haircut and trying to get a coupon for my first haircut for free. She was very cold and unfriendly! Wouldnt help me other than giving me a business card and saying it a haircut was 20 dollars and cant have a coupon. I left and will never go there!

Lola is amazing. It is difficult to find stylists that can cut my hair correctly due to how thick and coarse it is, but she nailed it.

Fast and reasonable prices, I have had 5 or so different stylists and never a bad haircut.

Just spent nearly an hour getting the worst haircut of my life. I’m 36 years old and have been to plenty of discount barbershops, but this was by far the worst hair cutting experience I’ve ever had. I’ve never left a bad online review of anything until now. I simply don’t know how a person can mess hair up this bad.The buzz on the sides were incomplete with large uneven spots of longer hair which wasn’t noticed until I pointed it out. My bangs are for some reason shorter than the rest of my hair. There are clumps of hair on top which are almost an inch higher than the rest.I would’ve given more real-time feedback, but after sitting through one of the oddest hair trimming executions for 40 minutes, I just had to get away. No supervision, no asking for my satisfaction, no method.

Kaley is the hands down one of the best hair dressers I’ve ever been to. Never been a fan of going to a chain barber shop, due to the uniform cuts they preform. However, when I came in she immediately greeted me with southern hospitality. She has a great personality, and made me feel very comfortable. I have always been very picky about how I want my hair cut. After explaining how I wanted my hair cut, she exacuted it to a T. Along with my hair cut, she performed an exceptional job trimming my beard. I can honestly say that the experience was far beyond what I expected. Kaley has earned a regular customer. I recommend sports clips, and Kaley especially. Great job! 👍🏻

He always does a great job, super professional, I leave the store fresh AF!Been coming here for awhile now and I usually see Bree and she has been cutting my hair and beard for awhile now. I’ve been super loyal to this place and her but one day I came in an another stylist cut my hair and beard and I was very happy. All the ladies working are very nice and helpful. They don’t push upgrades or products unless you want it. I won’t get my hair/beard cut anywhere else. Keep rocking ladies! Special thank you to Yolonda!
