Went in on Thursday morning, as soon as they opened, waited 45 mins for them to start my nails, got done went home the next day the gems fell off and my thumb nail broke, I called to get them fixed then decided I didn’t want them fixed and just wanted my money back, they denied me my money and said they would “fix” my nails! The pink thick bulky nails that I posted a picture of are how they “fixed” my nails! I definitely would not recommend this place and I definitely won’t be back myself! They charged me $50 for THIS?!?

Will never go back..place is just not the same...owner wanted to argue w me about my nails n my length!! Plus was a complete smart a$$. Then wanted to charge me more than i usually pay!! I use to love going there..to bad its going down hill fast

I’m very disappointed with the quality service I received at this establishment. I went in on 6/10 (Thursday) for a pedicure and nail fill. By Saturday 6/12 the gel polish started chipping! Went back in on 6/12 they offered to fix them which I allowed. Today is Wednesday! My nail polish is chipping again! I returned to the shop once again to complain about the polish chipping and I asked how can We make this right? Only thing they were willing to do was continue fixing them! I expressed to them that wasn’t acceptable, it’s a great inconvenience for me to continue to come back every few days to have them fixed. The guy pointed to the complaint number to call and said that was all they were willing to do! I wouldn’t have requested a full refund because I’m aware they did perform some type of service, but he could at least offered half of my money back! I paid $87. I will be disputing the charge with my credit card company and Needless to say I will never patronize this establishment again or recommend them to anyone.So please steer clear of this establishment, they have very cheap products and terrible customer service.

Let me start by saying I usually have a great experience with this place but today was TERRIBLE. I had some guy i’ve never had before he was really rough and ripped the acrylic off once it was glued to my nail and on top of that when he filed my nails he was on my skin and it was burning. I wish i would’ve got his name but this place is usually amazing at what they do.

I was just there yesterday 5/1... Payed $82 for a manicure and pedicure to now realizing that the gel is cracking off my nail tips. Gel polish is supposed to last longer, for the amount of cash you figured it would last at least two weeks. I’m annoyed 😒

These nail techs always do a great job. They don’t rush and are always friendly!! A little on the pricey side but well worth it!!

First time getting our nails done since lock down. Very professional and sweet!!

Overall they did an okay job. My only problem was that they have this weird habit of switching employees on you. A man applied my acrylic then another employee came to do my design. She did 9 of my nails then quickly had to leave to go do a pedicure. Then a different employee came and finished my last nail and it just was not the same as my other nails the employee before her did. She rushed through it and didnt care that it didnt match. IMO when an employee starts something they should finish it.

I went here for the first time today and had a great experience!! The workers are kind and work hard to give you exactly what you want. I was impressed! The man that did my nails didn’t rush to complete them even though he was only halfway done around closing time. These people truly care about their customers and are passionate about their business. I will only go here in Amarillo!

Duke is the absolute best at acrylics! He knows how to do all the new popular stuff and the shape is always on point. Hands down my favorite salon and Manicurist!

Rushed me out of the chair and didnt put the glitter i wanted on my nails to help another customer and got glue all over my fingers.

This nail salon is top-notch! The manicure section is small, but not overcrowded and the techs provide a great one-on-one interaction. If you are coming with a friend, be prepared to sit far away from them, as the manicure sections size limits seating availability. They are also able and willing to do the more complicated nail designs and do an excellent job recreating internet ideas. Would definitely come back.

I went to get a dip this morning and it was the best I’ve ever gotten. Not thick at all, so smooth and she did such a good job shaping my short nails. And the salon itself is so clean, which is important to me.

They made me waiting while dipping my hand in acetone so long that make my hand skin so dry. After 40 minutes waiting, a lady started to work on my nails. She filed so quickly and not gentle at all that made my nails burn and hurt so bad. Then she told me wait for her husband he will finish the rest for you and go work with another customer who just walked in. It took him so long to finish my nails. Its not professional at all and I will never go back. Dont wait your time, your money, and your health to this salon.

May did a wonderful job on my pedicure! The foot and leg massage I got from her almost put me to sleep! I would definitely recommend her and this place! They are very clean and sterile!

I got a dip there within a week it it all chipped and cracked off I believe she missed a step. They just seem to be in such a hurry to get done with you that theyre not doing a good quality job. I believe they have new owners now though and new staff.

By far the best people in this town! Absolutely love all the nail techs here! Jayden gives the BEST pedicure massages ever! Love the creativity they bring with letting them do whatever to my nails. Nothing like the other salons in Amarillo. Very clean very friendly dont speak alot of their language in front of you and always happy to fix anything youre not happy with. I am still old fashion solar and never once have they ever tried to convince me that I should try dip, like alot of the other salons Ive tried before here. Greatest color selection and always have the color you pick instead of looking and looking trying to decide only to be told no sorry we no have that color plus they have stamp cards when you visit them! Absolutely love this place!!!

A little too expensive. A full set of Pink & White should be no more than $25-$30. I paid $40 for an ok job!! They do give good pedicures.

I went in to get my toe nails painted and the man that started off doing my toes asked a female nail tech to finish me. I normally only get my toes painted and after the tech is done, he will put my paper disposable flip flops on my feet to keep the polish from smearing. After the rude female tech was finishing up, she asked the male tech that started me out something in their language and not in English, and he responded back in their language, and when she was finished she walked away and didnt put my feet in the disposable flip flops, leaving me there for my feet to dry without the flip flops or the foam toe dividers. I had shoes and socks with me, so I patiently waited expecting one of them to come back to me with the flip flops. I felt very ignored and as if because I wasnt paying for a pedicure that I didnt deserve the disposable flip flops. I did not appreciate being talked about in a foreign language, or being treated less than because I only wanted to spend a minimum amount. In the past, I chose not to go back to previous nail salons because of how I was treated or how I saw other customers treated. Customers should always be treated fairly and respectfully. I am not sure if Essence Nail Salon prefers to give customers that pay for pedicures disposable flip flops, or if this rude female tech got annoyed with me because I was only wanting my toes painted. Speaking in a foreign language is just rude and offensive. I really didnt expect this salon to act like others that I have been to in the past. Not a pleasant experience for me. No one can expect tips when they treat their paying customers like this. Unsure if I would honestly recommend this place.

I got my nails done there and the very next day one nail broke and the design that I paid extra for chipped off. I called and asked for it to be fixed and was told they were to busy. I was not happy at all so they said fine come in and we will fix it.. I went to get both nails fixed and the lady literally filed my broken nail (that I had super glued) and put clear gell on top instead of redipping my broken nail. The design looked nothing like the other one that was not chipped.. Not to mention they spoke in their language and laughed so Im almost positive they were talking about me! Ive had this set for only 2 weeks and almost every one has cracked and several have broken off! I also tipped the lady the first time $8 then tipped the lady to supposedly fix my other one. I will never go back there again

My sister has had nothing but great thing to say about this nail salon! However I will not find out! I looked them up to find out their hours today so I can take my daughter to get her nails done. Some mommy-daughter time! Google states they are open 12-5pm. We get there and they closed! I now have a disappointed child. Maybe you all should update your hours on google and anywhere else you have them posted publicly!

I got a pretty simple mani/pedi but it was lovely. The staff was friendly. Their work was great, my nails look and feel amazing. Took about an hour and a half. Will definitely be back!

I have been coming to the new owener of this salon for over 2 years and he not only does an amazing job but his very kind & cares if ur are not happy. Gentle I’ve never hurt when he does my nails, always very consistent !!!!

Me and my brother came to get pedis and me get nails for our nanas funeral. They were so caring and nice. This was back in feb of 2016. They did exactly what i wanted on my nails and it reminded me so much of my nana it made me cry!!! I just love their sympathy and passion towards us!
