Overall the service here was great. I got exactly what I wanted, and my acrylics lasted for a good 3 weeks. The workers took their time and provided great conversation and customer service. Downsides are they can be pricey. An acrylic manicure and regular pedicure was about $90. I went early and got started within 5-10 minutes of arrival.

I’ve gone several times over the last year or so. Pedicures are always great. I’ve also gotten gel manicures which I had no complaints about. Staff is friendly and the salon is clean. Would definitely recommend making an appointment.

The staff was pleasant and engaging, it was clean and comfortable. The gentleman who did my Pedi was super nice as was the lady who did my friends. The price was reasonable and we made an appointment for 2 months out. I would recommend them to anyone. Make an appointment!

I had a gel manicure and it was the most BASIC! manicure I have ever experienced. A very quick soak, trim cuticles and gel polish - 15 mins for $30. There are so many better places in Altoona - dont bother with this place.

Well after literally calling every shop they were the only ones in Altoona still open. I’m very thankful. Very friendly very very clean shop. He Did my nails how I asked (all white with hot pink and a marble design) he took his time which I LOVE! Sooo with that being said My rough day isn’t so bad now thank you Q Nails:) I will most definitely be back.

Great staff! Very nice and pleasant. Very accommodating to get you in for an appointment. I have never had acrylic nails before, but I really like them & they look beautiful. I’ve only been there twice, but my daughter uses them regularly. She won’t go to any other salon for her nails.

I used to come to this salon all the time only a little over a year ago, decent quality for the prices & very friendly. But.. as of recently Ive come back twice to get coffin tip acrylics and its the worst quality of nails Ive gotten done. I walked out of there with the color I wanted, but they cut every one of my quiticals causing them to bleed, almost every nail is crooked and way longer than I asked for them to be & they look like they have tiny bubbles in them. Needless to say im short $55 and never coming back.

Did a bad job on polish my toes the guy

My daughters and myself have tried to patronize them..they dont make it easy. It says walk in, but half the visits well actually be sitting in the chair,for service and its..oh appointment is coming can you come back? Sometimes we can..sometimes we cant. We came back even after zealous trimming gave my daughter two sores..she wanted to give them a shot at it again. The price for the hassle and very average work just made it not worth the hassle. All 5 of us and several friends will be helping free up the schedule by not returning.

Friendly service, my sister went in to get her nails done. The tech kept cutting her and of course she’s gonna jump when that happens. The tech would then tell her to stop moving, another tech switched with the original one. She was nice too but she kept saying well she told you to stop moving! Nails look alright from a distance, pretty color though I don’t think it was worth it.

You must go!!! The staff is wonderful!!!

I feel really bad giving this review because I probably only had one bad experience but I thought I should share. I recently got a gel manicure and I asked to have my nails cut short and a better shape to them. I need to have short nails for sports or they will peel off. They were not cut, only filed unevenly. The gel was put on Extremely thick and my nails look like they have bubbles on them. Not to mention it is all over my fingers and one has already peeled off as a result of them being all over. My cuticles also bled and the polish got in them. They did have a really cute color and the girl was really sweet and tried to “fix” them after by cutting off the sides of my nails after the polish was all over. Not a huge fan but my mothers did turn out a lot better.

I wouldnt say the man that did my nails was rude but certainly not friendly. I felt like I was bothering him and he kept turning my arm to an uncomfortable position. The nails themselves were so thick, I was embarrassed to be wearing them. Actually went else where the following week and had them fixed. The lady that did the nail art was very nice and did a nice job on what I asked her to paint on them but overall I did not have a good first experience with this place and would not go back.

Staff is great! I have never had a bad experience in the year Ive gone here. I highly recommend 😀

My sister and 2 bridesmaids and I went in to get pedicures spur of the moment. They got all 4 of us in right away and were super sweet. They were all very friendly and accommodating, and I will definitely be back for my wedding manicure.

Only giving 2 stars cause they were very nice an made us feel right at home however the nails not good they looked like they were already grown out an coming up at the back.... Definitely wont be back an it sucks cause they wewe so nice

Went in there twice for them to deny me both times first time they said they didnt have time yet they still had 45 minutes before closing the second time I asked if they could do a design they said they didnt feel comfortable I said okay thats fine how about just regular paint no design nothing special no problem they said no still doesnt feel comfortable and told me to go somewhere else...will never go back there again!!!
