I payed $75 for these +tip, the design is adorable don’t get me wrong but the lady completely glued them on crooked and didn’t even fix up my cuticles or skin around my nails. I’ll be sticking to nail square :)

$55 for Full set of acrylic tipped nails. Angela was my nail technician whom i believe is the youngest technician in this salon and she is incredibly professional, kind and does really good work. I came in on a Saturday and it got busy quickly, however the employees got clients in/out efficiently. Definitely coming back here for future service.

Im not sure how fair the sign-in system works here. Was on list and no time given when signing in initially, but when checking back later heard that it was at least a 2-hr wait and then heard the next 2 customers told only 45 minutes when the front desk girl didnt know I was already on the list. The workers were tireless though! They were so busy and hard working, looking like no one got a break between clients and the place was full. Prices were fair. Masking rules clearly relaxed for customers as no one wore them while all employees working on nails did. Great services. Would recommend going here for a pedicure. Id suggest making a specific timed appointment though, if thats even possible here.

I really enjoy the quality of work and being able to walk in to be seen, however your young workers, the 20 some year d boy and the young daughter are not always professional. They think its okay to swear or curse around clients and toddlers which I find inappropriate. I plan to visit again tomorrow and hope to not have to tolerate such language or inappropriate conversations while my family is present

Great place to get nails done. This fill cost me $50

Everyone there was sooo sweet. They look us almost as soon as we came. I showed my nail girl a picture of what I wanted and gave me exactly what I wanted! 100% recommend the place.

They were amazing and not only did they do a wonderful job on the art but they were clean and friendly

The guy who did my nails was very rude, slapped my fingers away, and argued with me about the nail color I wanted. He wanted to just do the acrylic nails and put a clear coat on. He left globs of acrylic all around my nails and paint all over my fingers.

So first of all I had to wait an hour and a half for a 6 o clock appointment. I saw 3 separate nail techs to finish my nails. Theyre crooked and uneven. They were rushing because they were about to close. I had to on the spot pick a different color because they were out of the one I wanted. Time of course ran over so I had to exit out of a side door in the back of the shop and had to walk up the ramp to my car. Im left EXTREMELY unsatisfied and will never ever come back here again. If I could give negative stars I would.

I arrived when they had opened and they still couldn’t get my sister and I in 2 HOURS LATER. When we had called ahead of time. If your busy day so next time. Will not go back there.

New York nail & spa is the best nail salon around, my mom and I drive 1 1/2 just to come and have our nails done by Angela, Henry, or Kim!! We love bling and lots of gems on all nails!!! Angela does an amazing job with nail design and has an amazing personality.. Henry rocks at nail design as well!! Highly recommend this place. 5 stars

My girl has been looking for a salon.. So, I took her to New York nails for the first time this past month and she loved it !! She won’t go anywhere else! She highly recommends Henry and Angela. They are fast, efficient, do a great job on nails, and very friendly!!!

I waited and I had an appointment at 12 and we waited an hour and we were still not seen and then I was told they didn’t see my name on there when I called in and I called twice to let them know

I waited a little bit obviously would near Christmas time. The people were nice especially the gentleman I got. We talked about tattoos and made great conversation. My nails turned out amazing and they’re a very affordable place. I left a ten dollar tip. Would definitely go back and definitely recommend people to go here!!

I was pleased with the younger gentleman that did my nail. The shape and fit were amazing. The best I have had in awhile. Just wish they had more updated ideas and embellishments for us nail divas.

My friend wanted to get her nails done today so I took her. I work in a nail salon and i know all the things u can do and u cant do. If you notice they are supposed to have there licenses displayed so you know they are licensed. Nope not one all around that place. Also had some young child polishing someones nails.

I would be careful going to this place. The female employees are very rude. And I can barely understand what they say half the time.They don’t tell you extra costs and do not follow their price board.When a female checks me out to pay,, they jack up the price by $15-$20.I usually get gel fill ins, and it says $25 and I asked the worker how much it would cost to change the color and it was $5 extra dollars.When a male worker checks me out it is only $30 and I leave $15 in tip.When a female worker checked me out today, it was $65I asked her why and she tried telling me that I got powder fill ins that’s why. I then told her Politely that I got gel fill ins and a color change. She continued to argue with me and take the money out of my hand. until the worker who did my nails told her what I was telling her. She then threw the extra $20 at me.

Would not recommend this place to anyone they always say they’re almost done every 5 minutes when they are no where close to being done. I waited for over an hour and left because they were still saying they’re almost done when they weren’t even close. There is no order and constantly people sitting around doing nothing while you wait. Worst nail place I’ve been to in Altoona don’t waste your time or money!!

Showed up and they told me it was going to be a 10-15 min. Wait so I waited. 1 hour later I ask again and they said another 15 mins later. Was so mad I just left totally unprofessional when people walked in and got in right away.

The worst experience I have ever had! Made an appointment for three to have our nails at the same time I stayed the others left after an hr long wait. My nails were mishapened n not the right color. I was also told $40 n was charged $50 I am very disappointed n will never recommend them

Had dipping power on 12/23 and it has already chipped off several nails by 12/26. They do not make it thick enough. Will not go back again. Very expensive too.

I wouldnt even give it a star.I went in for a simple manicure and polish.Manicure was 15.00 and polish 7.00. I picked a color then she charged me 30.00!!!! Really she said she used GEL well I didnt ask for that I said.I paid the 30.00 she expected a tip I think she got nothing! TOTAL RIP OFF!!

My granddaughter went with friends and had a manicure. It was horrible! Nails were not sized right and were crooked and chipped. Took her back for them to fix them,which they did but the polish WOULD NOT dry even after 3 hours! Will NEVER go back! And they are rude!!

Worst experience ever the employees are rude and they are not friendly. I came in for a polish change and when removing polish they cut me and almost ruined my nails and then I showed them the picture of the way I wanted my nails and when she was painting I could literally see the brush lines so I asked her to go over it one more time and she gave me attitude and then proceeded to go over it then burnt me multiple times with the UV lights that were drying my nails I will never go back there worst 25 dollars I ever spent for a polish change

My nails looked really crooked and I had to bring it to the nail techs attention. They file one side straight and the other side angled. She had trouble understanding that I wanted oval not round or square. I left the tip in cash but when I paid with my card, the cashier looked at the receipt, saw no tip and gave me very dirty looks. No thanks, no come back again. They dont want to do anything you show them, like a design from Pinterest or YouTube. Not goin back.

The work is fine but the wait is long. Even if you make an appointment they dont keep it. They just make you wait with everyone else.

Went a few weeks ago and Im pist! I got acrylic and gel and one of my nails fell off already and as soon as I left I noticed there were bubbles all under my nails alao my dayghter got hers done and as aoon as we lwdt paint qas all off hee nails...not to mention when I was there the English lady who says she supposively owns the place got into a fight with a customer they told her to wait 10 min in the waiting area then after 10 min they got up to pick up there nail colors and they then told the lady they were closed!! Never will go again should go back and demand a refund!!!!!

They did a wonderful job with our pedicures... we did a Mothers Day gift for our mom so we all went!

Ridiculous....my best friend n I each got pedicures and tips, pedicures werent done well at all and the total shouldve been $140 but they charged us $100 each!!! Why they have their prices listed there if they dont follow wat they list!!

Took 2 hours to do my nails they look nothing like the picture I showed them. They filed my skin off and my nails are crooked!
