The basic pedicure was nice, it included a wax paraffin dip. However my toenails look like a child Painted them.They made everyone wash their hands as soon as they walked in the door and have plastic barriers up to protect against Covid.I will not be back because I can paint my own toes and nails much nicer than what they did

DO NOT RECOMMENDMy gram went to this salon for a dip manicure and the dip was all over her cuticles. As her nails grew, the dip was lifted and her hair would get caught.What really is disappointing is they RIPPED her dip off using a tool to get under the dip (remember it was slightly lifted to begin with). Her nails are torn up and 2 of them are missing chunks of nail, you can see the skin.My gram has never had dip removed, so she did not know how it was done. I am in absolute shock that they did this and still made her pay 5 dollars! She said she was in tears because it hurt so bad. It wasnt until she sent me pics and called me for me to tell her that is not how its done.She loves getting her nails done with me and gets so excited. Now it is ruined for her.

This place is wonderful! I enjoy coming here and they are taking such great precautions to ensure everyones safety during the pandemic. However, I highly recommend you call to make an appointment, because, they are busy at times!

I have never written a bad review about anything but the entire experience I just had was AWFUL. I got a full set and they turned out great. Then I asked for a quick pedicure with just regular polish. I was handed a price sheet and I picked the $35 one. With regular polish, it says it is free but there is a $5 charge per nail for any design. First of all, my 3 year old couldve done a better job. When I got to the checkout they ran my card and when they handed me the receipt I was in disbelief. They told me there was now an upcharge for services because of covid (which I get, but dont hand someone an outdated list and try to pretend that youre not ripping them off) when I asked why I was paying $60 for a $35 pedicure they said it was now $5 more because of covid plus the $5 for each nail design. I got 2 nail designs so lets do the math here.. 5+5=10+40=50 so when I asked the owner slammed the receipt on the desk and said this is what you pay... incredibly rude and by far the worst experience I have ever paid for. ****If youre going to sit there and disrespect your clients the entire time you should probably try to be more discreet about it.****

Every time I go there I end up waiting over 30 minutes beyond my appointment time. Last week I called to reschedule the appointment because I had to go to a funeral. When I went for the appointment they said that they didn’t have me scheduled. I go there every 2 weeks to get my nails done, but today was the last straw. I’ll be finding a new nail salon. Very poor customer service.

My left hand doesnt open on its own. It actually sit in a fist and it has to physically be opened up. They were absolutely wonderful about it. Other place have a hard time and tend to mess up the nails on my left hand and then they start getting frustrated. But not here the guy did an amazing job and did not mess up any of the nails and he in no way made make me feel uncomfortable about my hand.

I have never in my entire life experienced such an unprofessional service & workers. Very low class, poor quality of service, the nail technicians and management staff are so rude, their work is not clean whatsoever. I was very happy with how my nails turned out to be, i tried to address it to the nail technician that was working on my nails and he had attitude and refused to listen to what I wanted in the first place which was so rude, I asked for the manager while the entire time he was listening and watching to how the worker was yelling and being very disrespectful. So when he asked what seemed to be the problem, I explained, then he asked me to leave and that he no longer wants to do my nails... so overall if you want good service, clean service and professionalism then you’re looking in the place.

DO NOT GET YOUR NAILS DONE HERE! This is BY FAR, the WORST nail salon I have ever been to. I made an appointment and they had me wait over 20 minutes and took other people before me. Then the woman who did my nails burnt and cut my cuticles with their sanding tool three different times. No discount, no nothing. They said they would make it right, then at my next appointment I showed up maybe 10 mins late and they kicked me out and told me that I’m late and had to leave. I told them I am 8 months pregnant and sick and that’s why I’m late and they told me to leave. I was in absolute tears. I can’t believe they would treat people that way. It’s near impossible to get a nail appointment anywhere in altoona without scheduling weeks in advance, and this was my only opportunity to get my nails done. So I called SNL nails and told them my story and they got me in immediately. THEY UNDERSTAND customer service.

I’ve had quite a few mani&pedis. I had an appointment for a pedicure & manicure. The pedicure was painful, the girl didn’t cut away the excess skin, she ripped it off. I’ve never bled during a pedicure before. She painted my toe nails thenI was asked if I wanted a flower painted on my big toe, I said yes. She switched me to a guy that spoke no English & moved me to paint my finger nails. Then another customer reminded her I had asked for my big toenail to be painted. She asked me again & I said yes, she said they were too busy. I was over charged $50 and I told her, she refunded me & recharged me but I hope the refund went thru. My acrylic nail polish, which felt dry when I left, didn’t make it out the parking lot. Three fingers were smudged! I will never return!

I never take the time to leave a bad review but this place is wack! I always get my nails done and they have never been as bad as what I experienced here. My nail tech was rude and I was rushed. I got a full set with regular polish. Remind you this is my go to and works fine with me. As soon as I left my nails smudged and my thumb nail cracked right in half. Total waste of money.

I have not had a bad experience until now and I wont be back after this. I showed him what I wanted and he told me he didnt have time. Keep on mind I made an appointment and it was not near closing time. There also was no one waiting either.

I waited an hour after my scheduled appointment for them to finally get to me. I was given the wrong shape, and the base they used for the acrylics didn’t fit my fingers at all. The tech nicked me with the drill and filed the sides of my nails so much that there’s skin showing where nail should be. I’m not really one for nails and only got these for prom, but I don’t suggest them at all

I literally never post negative reviews but I need to share my experience. I was at Envy Nails about a year ago. The male tech was incredibly rude and impatient. He even became aggressive, pulling my wrist in an agitated manner seemingly because I was in my phone. I was so taken back I didn’t know what to say. Fast forward to today, I was in a pinch and everyone else was booked so I thought I’d give them another try. My appointment was at 2:30 and I waited until 3:15. They took people who were walk ins as I was waiting! This time it was a female who was as equally rude and impatient. She refused to do a glitter nail and told me if I had a problem with it to get out, and made me pick a solid color. It was bizarre. I will never go back. To add insult to injury she charged me $55 for a gel fill!! They charge everyone different prices! No idea how these people are still allowed to have a business.

Ok place. Nothing special. Very very quick gel pedicure for $45. They charged me $10 for a regular polish change on my hands and mind you my nails are as short as a five year old. They wanted $25 if I chose the gel polish change!

Very unprofessional went in to get a fill in and change of color for my powder nails with gel and was switched ppl because apparently they dont know how to do nails and the man was very rude tried charging me $60 and when i refused he got up and walked away before i could even get anything done and the lady told me to go to whomever did my nails before mind u i had my child with me so i got her and walked right out i swear i will never in my life patronize this establishment they need to be shut down they dont even know how to do nails dont waste ur time nor money they are not worth it!!!!!

They Dont Do Good Nails I Got Gel Polish And It Chip

Ive been going here for the last 5 years & I can honestly say that a change in management is exactly what this place needed!! I was always pleased with my nails because Ive always requested the same nail technician & when the switch in management happened I was so nervous about whether or not Id be happy. Ive requested Terry every single time & Ive been more than pleased. The overall environment is so much more customer friendly and focused on keeping you happy!

They charged me for a full set when I got a paint and made me cry in the middle of the store because he started yelling at me and yelling at other employees to yell at me and was giving me attitude when I made an appointment hours in advance and he knew what I was therefore screamed at me and yelled at me while I was crying sitting in the chair and then filed off one of my nails and didn’t do anything else and made me leave so now I’m left with one nail filed off and the rest colored and he literally yelled because I asked why he charged me for a full set I asked one time I didn’t make a big deal about it I was just curious he yelled at me and then got his coworkers to yell at me so I would not recommend this place at all like to anyone

This place at one time used to be good. I had a manicure and a pedicure. The gentleman who did my pedicure was great. However the older guy with arm tattoos was extremely rude. He rushed me when i wanted to show how long i wanted my nails..he stated rudely to hurry up and when attempted to tell him how i wanted them cut he kept saying hurry up hurry up... He rused the job and my nails look like an amateur did my nails. I asked the only woman there who the manager or owner was to report this issue and told me not say anything because people will not work there and this guy would leave if i said anything and dont say anything .leave. she was also rude..really bad service and I will not go there again. Bad thing was after the guy finished my nails he told me to go home..worest experience of my life..i held my tongue but i really wanted to smack the tattoos off that rude man..

I’ve gotten my nails done here 5 times now and they are really nice and are very helpful with figuring out exactly what I want. They may be a little bit more expensive than some places, but it’s 100% worth it! They do amazing work and are very good with younger people. I brought my 9 year old niece here to get her nails done, and they were so sweet to her! Definitely recommend this place!

The manger or owner or who ever he is rude. There always a problem when I come sit in the chair. He watch over whos ever doin my services. I am no longer coming her anymore. Went into this place got my nails Nd feet done everything was rushed handling my hands with know care like tf soon as that electric filler went over my skin I told him to stop I will wash my hands Nd he can just polish it horrible! basic set 35 at this place take your money elsewhere ppl.

Went in for an acrylic set. Asked for coffin shape. Never checked with me on length left with nails way too long and not coffin shaped. Acrylic lasted three weeks at least, as well as the polish.

I got the dip and my polish started to peel, two weeks following my appointment. They did a really nice job on them. I was disappointed, the Polish chipped, in only two weeks. I will be a returning customer though. 😀

I went today after lunch and was taken right in. I got powder dip nails with a small design on one nail of each hand. The young man who took care of me was nice and did a beautiful job on my nails. He did what I wanted and had help with the design from a young woman. They were both happy and appeared to be enjoying their day. I was greeted immediately by a nice lady who brought the powder dip samples to me as soon as she found out that was what I would be getting done. They manicure was done quickly and I was so pleased with the general peaceful and accepting environment there. Many places make you feel like you are inconveniencing them by coming in. All the people here were kind. I am definitely coming here again! Thank you!

Probably the worst nail experience I have ever had. The woman I had was extremely rude and nasty, she kept messing up my nails to, and she was upset it took longer because of mistakes she had made. She was extremely rude to me and I will never go back, I recommend T and N they were nice and my nails looked fantastic.

I go there when I get my nails done but the last time I went I was not happy! They were not busy and they took me right away but the young man that they called from the back rushed me out! It was on January 24th of this year! It didnt last long at all! I got a gel manicure and I paid him 45.00 plus tip he took a lot of short cuts! Not happy so Ill try some place else next time!

So I needed a new salon to get my nails done... every one I called told me that they couldn’t do my nails the way I wanted them..I called here and the guy that answered was great he fit me in.. my nails came out AHHHMAZING! Much better than I even planned! They were very kind and helped me decide on colors and options.. pretty sure I found my new forever nail salon!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!! I got a full set of acrylics with gel polish. All of my nails are crooked. The man who did my nails made me bleed twice, filed into my skin, dremmeled into my skin, clipped me with the nail clippers, and lost control of the dremel. Not to mention the fact that he was constantly distracted talking to other workers in the salon. Take your business elsewhere.

Nails looked great when I left. Got a full set with gel polish. Less than a week later my pinky nails fell off. Within a week already looked like I needed a fill and the rest started popping off like glued on nails.

This place is absolutely awful. The lady who did my nails made them lopsided, did not do the design I asked for and made my fingers bleed. I asked her multiple times to fix my nails but she said no. I was in there getting a manicure for 2 1/2 hours. I would never recommend this place.

I got exactly what I asked for.

I had my nails done and 9 days later my thumb nails were loose and 4 other nails fell off. I called in and they told me to come in and they’d fix them. Mike took the rest of the old set of nails off and replaced all of them. He told me I could have anything I wanted to replace them for free. They didn’t charge me a dime to replace my nails. I will definitely be back.

I went there two of the workers almost got in a fight they were pushing each other and arguing. I also paid and got 10$ back I paid for me and my friend, I was gonna give both ladies 3$ and I asked if they had 5 singles and I was told everyone in there did not have singles and I felt bad about not tiping so the lady took the 5 and said she’d split it with the other girl which she didn’t, also she ruined my friends nails and said they were fine. Very disappointed in this place.

AWFUL EXPERIENCE!Me & my sister went here once and didn’t get a gel manicure and it held up very well. So we decided to go back and it didn’t go well. Just a couple hours after I got mine done 2 of them peeled right off so we called and went back the next morning. We were again happy for about a day until 2 of my sister’s gel nails came completely off and later 2 more of my sisters came off. Now 3 of mine are gone again and 1 is peeling! We will definitely NEVER come back here.Ps:I don’t suggest it.....especially gel nails!

Usually go here to get my eyebrows waxed because the one older lady in there is AWESOME at it. I went in later today and got another lady, she nearly took off half of my eyebrows and made them paper thin. Do not recommend going after this experience. They look terrible

They are always friendly with us. My daughter is 4 and she likes to get a pedicure, they do a awesome job making different designs for her. I get the solar nails and they last a month before I need to go back.

I went here for a pedicure with my wife, it was a quiet, relaxing experience. I would recommend this place for men with scaly feet who dont know how to fix it on your own, she even dug out my ingrown toe nails and clipped them perfectly.

Was very unhappy with the services. I was refused a refund after I paid for services I did not receive. My fingers and toes did not match like I had asked them to. My pedicure was rushed and I was left with calluses and dead skin still on the bottoms of my feet. I did not receive the 10 minute massage that was advertised. The designs on my fingers looked unprofessional and sloppy. I do not recommend.

Found out that their Gel nails (aka: Sola Gel) are really just acrylic powder and I am allergic to acrylic, and was getting blisters around and under my nails. I asked about the powder and was assured it was gel powder. Trust me.... it is NOT. I had to find a new place that actually uses GEL. Gel nails are done with GEL never a powder. Ignorance is bliss I guess.

Envy Nails personnel need to be more courteous about peoples schedules. Sitting someone in a chair with their feet in the water for 40 minutes does not constitute getting a pedicure...very disappointed in them. If you dont have time to work on someone, say so in order that they can go somewhere else; will never believe their word again that they have time.

I am not happy at all with my nails. I got an acrylic full set done. I wanted almond nails, but very pointy (like cat claws sharp). I even had a picture to reference the shape. My nails are not sharp like I wanted them, and yet I still had to pay a “pointy” fee. I showed the picture a few times and after asking twice for them to be sharper, I gave up because I hate being the customer who complains and nit picks. However, I paid $50 for nails that I honestly hate. I’m sorry, but my “design” I was given on two nails looks like my 4 year old son did it. Based on photos I’ve seen by this place I thought it was going to be amazing like the “By Jack” designs I’ve seen, but I guess that was my fault for having high expectations. I did not have a design picked out when I went in, so that was my fault. I asked if they had designs already done that I could look at, I was told yes. When it came time to do my gel and design, I was asked if I picked my colors yet. I had not because I wanted to see the designs first. I was then told they don’t have designs and that I need a reference picture or they just make something up. That’s fine. I then simply said I wanted something for Valentine’s Day. We redid the design a few times and once again I gave up because they looked so annoyed with me and I didn’t feel welcome.I also was knicked by one of the tools and then told to relax my hand, as if it was my fault. I have sensitive skin so this has happened to me before at the last salon I went to, but I’ve never been told to relax as if I did something wrong.Update: It’s now 2 days after getting my acrylic set done and they are already starting to come off. I paid $50 for nails that don’t last as long as press ons, apparently. This is heart breaking for me, I saved up for these. Being a mom, we don’t get to pamper ourselves much if at all.

I recently got my nails done with the dip powder and the next day three nails chipped. I live 45 minutes away and made a special trip over to get them fixed when I went in and told them about it they seemed to not care and wanted me to come back the next day.I will never come back to this place and I will never recommend it to anyone to ever get anything done here.

I went to Envy nail to have my nails done for a pageant ... Well what i thought was a job well done turned into nail horror ... My nails were itchy and i felt tons of pressure under the nail.. Well days of cutting them down i decided to have them removed.. It was a process they had built up my nail so much that i had to have them soad for about 30 mins while trying to pick them off my fingers were in so much pain ... After almost an hour all my nails were removed .. I dont think they were suppose to be built up they way they were but im glad to uave my real nails back. I wouldnt recommend this place.

I’ve has plenty of bad experiences here, but yesterday was by far the worst. i had made an appointment with my usual nail tech at a different salon (i used to go to envy religiously but stopped because it got so bad) but had to cancel because the time didn’t work for me anymore. because they were busy that day, and i had to get my nails done i put my last bit of whatever faith i had left in them and went to envy. i was treating my friend to manis and pedis because we both had to get them done. i walked in and was greeted and told to go sit back for my pedicure. (that’s the first time i’ve ever been seated at my actual appointment time usually the wait is 15min or so even if there are people open) the guy who said he was going to do my pedi was one i had never seen before. so i thought maybe he would be better than the others. i told him i had gel on my toes and was waiting for him to soak them in acetone like you’re supposed to do. instead he took cuticle cutters and RIPPED the polish off upwards off my toe. i stopped him and asked why he was doing it like that and he said this is the way. (i get my nails done every 2 weeks on the dot. so i know what the right way of doing things is) i then proceeded to ask him to please soak them because i felt more comfortable with that. he told me flat out no. i let it go, because there was no point in even fighting with him. he did my left foot first and was obviously rushing to do it. when he got to my little toe he dug so hard to get the polish off he ripped the top part of my toenail off with it!!!! i obviously felt him do this but he tried to cover it up my shoving my foot in the water. i was absolutely FURIOUS. i took my foot out of the water and i told him to stop. it was stinging very bad and very gushing blood. he told me it was okay, but it was obviously not. every time i come here i get cut, but this is the worst. because he had just ripped off my toenail i told him i did not want them painted anymore. and he said “no you are still getting them done” and i again told him no. as he was scrubbing my feet i didn’t realize that he started to do the gel. i was talking to my friend and not paying much attention. i suddenly feel this burning sensation in my foot. i look down and he’s putting all of the clear polish’s you have to put on the nails before the actual gel polish goes on the nail, ON MY BLEEDING TOE. i told him that it was burning and that he needed to stop. he told me “no honey you’re fine”. i told him again “i said i didn’t not want you to paint my nails” and he totally disregarded me. after my toes were done being painted i went to sit down at the manicure stations hoping this person would be better. well, i was wrong. it was the same guy. !!!!!!!!!!LADIES LISTEN UP!!!!!!!!!every time i go in here they ask me the absolute weirdest questions about myself. i know some people may think they’re just trying to make conversation, but no. it’s flat out creepy. everyone please just think about this carefully. this guy was 100% new, you could tell. i have never seen him before and he knew my age, what grade i was going into, and what school i went to. i went in with friends one time and we were all talking about school to the people who were doing our nails. but somehow a man who i have never talked to, knew personal things about me?? that’s straight up weird. and this guy was making me feel very uncomfortable the whole time. my manicure was fine, a few times he cut me w the cuticle cutters but that was nothing out of the ordinary with this place. so after i was done i went to pay for both of us. mine was $80 for a gel removal on my toes and hands, and then a gel mani and pedi. my friends was $95 for a gel pedi and a full set of “cat eye” acrylics. the man that did her nails must’ve been new too because he had no idea what he was doing. i have had “cat eye” before and it’s when they use a magnetic polish and hold a magnet to put a line through the center that has a different tone than the rest (the nail, if done properly... should look like a cat eye) to do this the nail

Fastest & WORST pedicure of my entire life .... the lady next to me was there before me, had her pedicure started before me, yet I was finished 15 minutes before she was! the lady who did mine didn’t even trim my cuticles/corners, paint my nails fully or put top coat on most of them & then they smudged while drying. I probably sat in the chair for 10minutes max & she left old nail polish on them from before painting, too. The man who “fixed” the first smudge was very nice but it’s been 2 hours and they are now chipped everywhere. Wish I could just get a refund because their prices are much higher than other places, beware!! I leave for the beach tomorrow & don’t have time to return. They ruined my weekend. WILL NOT BE RETURNING.

Had a terrible experience when the nail tec was taking off my gel polish he filed off my skin at the base of my nails. They were bleeding and protested to stop filing the skin, but I ended up with 8 of my 10 fingers with scabs! Usually have good things to say about this place by this experience was the last one here!

So I usually very much enjoy going here and they tend to do a nice good with designs. My sister and I went today she had a picture of what she wanted for her gel nails, a simple black with silver tips. You would think they would be able to do that with no problem but they indeed messed it up, cut her finger and made her bleed and didnt give her what she wanted or payed for. I got a pedicure and the guy was very much rushing my experience. I got to soak my feet for maybe two minutes and asked for a white base color with a bright design with pink, orange, blues etc. When he went to get the colors for the designs I noticed that the one color I wanted and asked for wasnt there so I asked him if he had pink he said no, no pink. I then said well I would really like to have pink in the design he said okay okay and started the design. I ended up with yellow and black lines with a silver blob in the corner ( then to hide the blob of paint he tried to hide it with a gem) after he was done he never asked if everything was okay..he then just walked away so I figured I would go sit and let them dry. Many employees kept staring at me knowing very well I wasnt happy and not one asked if everything was okay or if they could fix it for me instead asked me to go and pay. Sorry for the long review but Im very upset after all this because I go there all the time and seems like every time I go theyre service gets worse and worse. I will not be wasting my time there anymore.

Most disgusting! I wouldnt even give it one star. Dont be late for an appointment, but be prepared to wait every single time. They started to remove my polish with a file, then told me they wouldnt finish because someone else had an appointment for that time! And they talk about you and all turn to look at you! Disgusting business

I had blood and paint still on my skin when i left. the shape is uneven and chunky, my nails hurt because he was so ruff to the point of me bleeding. my cuticles are all ruffed up as well.

Very nice people who are very careful in their work. I have been using them for pedicures for years and plan to continue.
