Had my nails powdered dipped about 5 weeks ago and it lasted for almost 20 days before I had to go back. The guy dipped it like 4 times on each hand so it was very thick and done well. Went back a little over a week ago, had it done, same guy dipped my nails and he rushed through it, dipped them only twice per hand. The very next day, 3 of my nails chipped and I called to complain. The woman told me to come in and they will fix it. So I went back and they did fix it free of charge but less than 48 hours after that I had 4 nails chipped again. All the 3 they fixed and a new one. Won’t be back. Spend too much money for not good quality.

My friend and I went here for the first time and had gel manicures. They did a great job, loved the color. It was busy but definitely worth the wait

If you call ahead they will tell you a time to come in when wait isnt long.Have lots of gel colors to pick from.The owner will talk to you, and you can tell he takes pride in his business.

I live around the corner and usually have a personal mail tech info to in saint louis. I came here just for a polish change for a date night the same night. I usually get gel but since I’ve never been here I chose regular polish. I chose a yellow and the tech told me they would have to put white on the bottom so you wouldn’t see through it which I understand I’ve had it before. I asked to have my big toes painted half white and yellow. The tech spoke her language to another co worker who then came over and told me it wouldn’t look right and would look crazy and it would be different with gel. I told them don’t worry about it I normally get gel but I didn’t want them doing my gel I just needed a polish for the night. I needed up just having her do the white. I could have saved my money and did it myself. I won’t ever be back for anything. I work too hard for my money to pay for anything less than amazing service.

I absolutely Love Lisa doing my nails and won’t go anywhere else. Lisa is the best salon mail tech I’ve ever had.

I feel like the young guy who did my pedi rushed through it. He spent a lot of time talking to the other workers while ignoring me. I also noticed that the other staff offered their customers other available services like eyebrow waxing, but I guess my guy didnt think that I could afford it or whatever... Ill never go back to this place.

I paid 50.00 for a Pedicure just for my toes to look like a 5 year old painted them. The actual pedicure was good & did an amazing job on my skin & made them very soft . But the pint job . I was so disappointed I paid & walked out. Will not be returning to this location.

This review should not even have a one star but it was the lowest i could go. So i went with my mom and sister to go get a new set of nails. I have only had mine a week and they are chipping falling off and the polish is coming off as well. As far as the polish goes i did not want the gel polish and they did it anyway without even asking and when they did ask i already had one hand done and 3 fingers on the next i felt taken advantage of. DO NOT GO HERE! 10/10 Do not reccommend.

Have you ever had a pedicure where they dont rub your feet with lotion? If thats what your looking for I recommend you choose here!!

They treat you with respect and the staff really listens to what you want as a client. My nails are healthier as a result and I feel pampered when I go there! They accept walk ins and the wait isnt long.

My 2 daughters and i got our nails done here. All of our nails look bad. They are uneven and not grinded down right they have rigdes in them. Very unsatisfied. We will never go back. Dont waste your money

The absolute worst manicure I have ever received. Recommend going to US Nails 3 minutes down the road for cheaper prices and wayyyy better of a job.

I took my granddaughter who is 15 there for a fill plus some nail art. She showed them a picture of what she wanted and they quoted her $80! This was a plain nail with some white and glitter. She looked at something else and picked out a pink pair with flowers the guy said $65 and I agreed cause I just turned down the other nails and felt bad.When I went to pick her up she was very quiet when I looked at her nails and they had black polish big glitter and rhinestones. When we got in the car she burst into tears and said I showed him what I wanted but he went ahead with this. Everytime I said something he just turned and talked to another employee in his native tongue. Shes 15 and I can see why she didnt want to cause a fuss plus she said she felt guilty about making me spend so much.I feel they took advantage of my granddaughter and me too by charging me so much My nail salon charges 45 at the most and I always have flowers and nail art.

I’m new to the area, so I needed to look for a nail salon quickly now that everything is open. This was my first time here June 2020. The place was nice & clean very professional until was time to do the services I went in for. The pedicure for the price wasn’t worth the price “he”didn’t even dig in to take out the cuticles around toe nails, then on to my hands, my fill was a disaster once “he” was done my fingers looked like lollipops. The color “gel” did stay on. Was very pricey for service I got. Not sure if I’ll be going back. The 2 star is/was for the cleanliness of the place.

Di did an amazing job on my nails!! I hadn’t had my nails done in over 2 years and he SLAYED. He was very nice and professional and also cracked a few jokes, which I love! The place was very clean and everybody took precaution when it came to being careful with the COVID-19.

Love this place! Just started going two months ago and they are some of the nicest people. It is often busy because they don’t have a huge staff, but it is worth the wait. They always are very friendly and polite and do a great job. Very fairly priced and good detail that lasts. Very hard working team with great family.

I have been coming here off and on about a year and a half. I get the powder dip. Im a musician and my fingernails hit my guitar strings all the time, and they dont even chip at all. In my experience they are the best 4 the powder. If you want them to do your cuticles and shape your nails and stuff like that, you have to ask for it from what Ive noticed. Looks great. They are busy but its ok. I am a type of person that never makes an appointment so I have to wait. I also get eyelash extensions here, which work great about 75% of the time.

Went in on a Saturday morning, got in right away. Salon was clean and seemed well kept. Got a deluxe pedicure...for the price I felt like I could have gotten more out of this service - not much of a massage or work on my nails. Got a regular manicure with gel polish. Was told it should last 2 weeks. I didnt even make it 6 days without chipping, and by day 7, MAJOR peeling. Paid 60$ total for all services. Think I will look elsewhere next time.

Ive been going here for years, they are the best! I have trouble with products lifting, and I only let Lisa or David do my nails. If you call ahead, you can usually get in at some point that day without waiting. Its always clean and fast.

This was my first (and last) time in this place. I usually go to a place in Wood River, but I was up that way running errands, so my daughter and I decided to give it a shot. I told them I wanted a full set (acrylic) and my 9 year old just wanted her nails painted. They pushed and pushed for us to get gel color, so I gave in and said yes. For my daughters nails, the lady said it would last 21 days. First off, the lady painted my daughters nails the wrong color, and the polish on one of the nails came completely off by the second day. Here we are 4 days after getting them done and she doesnt have any color left. Now, on to me. I gave in and got the powder dip and the color is so thin and she didnt clean up around the nail very well. I spent $50 for the 2 services ....from now on, I will stick to my regular place. When I tell them I dont want gel, they dont push.

I love TD Nails. I have been going there since the beginning and have always been treated great and have never seen them treat anyone unfairly. Lisa does the best job. If there is a problem they always fix whatever it is. 😊

Every time I go ther I feel like they rush through the process. No matter what I get done!! Then they sit and talk about you in their language like you can’t comprehend or pick up on their body language! They barely let the first coat dry before they’re slapping on another coat. I never leave there loving my nails. I won’t go back there again!

Didn’t even trim my nails or push back my cuiticals ; had acrylic gel hanging down and i looked like i needed a fill after only 2 days. i waited an hour and they’re were only two other people there. they only did one coat of polish and barely buffed my nails. i also had my eyebrows done and the person doing them was very inexperienced and i felt ever single hair she plucked

Lousest nails Ive ever had done. Wouldnt give it a 1 if I didnt have to. They need to have more pride in their work. Terrible and pricey

Can be hit or miss depending on the person doing the nails. I was talked into the powder which is OK but it begins to crack and break off after a couple of weeks leaving painful edges and broken nails.

Lisa by the front desk is thr best. I used to wait until I got to town from Indianapolis to get my nails done by her.

I tired this salon multiple times, so I gave it an honest shot. I felt uncomfortable every time I went in, like I was annoying them with my presence. The older gentleman that always did my pedicures was very nice, though. I felt like when I got my nails done and asked for silver painted tips that I was asking for the world and it was as if they acted like they didnt understand me so I would give up asking.

Terrible!!!! Do not go to this place!!!! You will be very disappointed! They treat their customers like crap and terrible service! I only came here because my favorite nail spa US NAILS was jammed packed and I couldnt wait that day!!! I will always wait on my favorite nail shop now!!!! What a waste of time and money! I absolutely love TD Nail Spa. It is always my first choice. I appreciate how as soon as you walk in someone always greets you and asks you what service you would like. I especially like to have Lisa or David do my nails but they are one of the few nail salons in this area where each employee is good at their job whether its manis, pedis, acrylic, gel, or Nexgen dips. I am always happy when Im finished. If for some fluke reason my polish looks differently then I had hoped they all are more than happy to change anything so that the customer is happy. I also appreciate that their prices are very competitive as well. I enjoy taking my 6 year old neice to get her toe nails painted in their child pedicure chairs. I believe they are the only salon in this area with 2 child spa chairs. In my opinion TD Nail Spa is the best Nail salon in the entire Alton, Bethalto, and Wood River area. The employees really care and want you to be happy and that is what I look for in a Nail Spa.

It was horrible!! I asked for holly on silver nails and he put green scibbles and ZERO HOLLY CHERRIES!! And on top of that my nail was painted pink!! When i asked for him to redue it, he looked at me like i was slow and he acted like he didnt understand wat i was saying. The other girls just stode around while there were exactly 6 others waiting to be attened to! The man kept opening up his drawer and looking at his phone and not only that but he also kept watching tv. Thats not right!!!!😡

I came here about four times even though this is not my usual place... I get impatient, but Ive tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and my nails chip and break every time.

I paid 45$ for a pedicure and manicure with gel polish. The pedicure, i had scrub slapped on and washed off and the leg massage was near non-existent. He cut my nails to where the corners were points and two days later i had to fix them before they got infected from the points cutting through the flesh from being improperly cut.3 days after the manicure the gel polish has just peeled off. Awful products and for 45$ id rather go some where else.

Okay! So i go into Tj Nails and Spa for the second time(Even tho when i go a fill the first time and my nail came off )to get my nails fill and my toes painted, When i got to the counter the lady over charged me, She said it was because my nails was long which they are not and i wasnt info of it when i was getting ready my nails done.This is a horrible place to get your nails done!!!!
