Just moved into Allen area and happy I found Soho! It is very modern and clean. Probably the most organized (yes it’s color coordinated) & with a wide selection of colors to choose from compared to other salons I’ve been to. I did Nexgen with Ken and pedicure with Kassie, they both did an incredible job and took their time. I love their work and service. I would highly recommend anyone coming here, they won’t disappoint! They do get pretty crowded, I recommend to call to set an appointment ahead of time

Hi. I am not one to go out of my way to write google reviews but I think this experience should be shared to people who value cleanliness. To start off I was told that solid powder would be $40, and French tip (coffin) is $50. I had shown a picture from their Instagram for reference. So I decided to go with white powder and it rang up to $50.... The guy said it was because of the shape (coffin)..... Well if that was the case, I would have gotten French tip. Where are the prices listed? Anyways, during my manicure the technician dropped her tool before applying it to the machine and did not bother sanitizing it. She filed my nails with a used nail file and buffer that were clearly worn out. I left with two nail cuticles bleeding and I’m hoping that they don’t get infected because they are still red almost 2 days later. Please use clean and new products moving forward. I will not be visiting again.

Was in the area and decided to try it out. Def did not disappoint. One of the best service I had! David and his staffs are the kindest people around and very welcoming. He took the time to help me pick out a color which is the hardest part of it all. You can tell they take pride and really stand by the quality of their work. Also very modern and clean. THEY CARE & take the time to make sure you’re getting what you came for. Love love my nails and the massage was amazing. I would highly recommend anyone coming here!

This place is okay. I really only come for the pedicures. They probably use cheap polish because it chips very easily. I stopped getting dip because that would never last long for some reason.But, I think these people discriminate against Black folks. Like they will do your nails but will not show you any hospitality. The last few times I have been here I was one of the few black people in the salon and noticed that NONE of us were offered any drinks or refreshments but all of the white people were. And they were offered this almost immediately as they sat down.I spend too much money to be treated less than. I will be taking my black dollars elsewhere. Thanks.

This is the second time I went to Soho Nail Bar! Got my nails done again with Danny! He is go great and does exactly what I want! Plus, my nails stay good for at least 3 weeks!

First I was told a price when I entered and charged a different one when I was going to pay because I asked for a “design”. I just got a discount of $5. My nails peeled off after two hours.I went to get them fixed today and all they did was put gel on top on the powder I had before.

I love SoHo. They are always very accommodating. It is easy to get the time and day you want. I get both pedicures and manicures. Danny does my manicures. He’s wonderful and so nice. Lynn does my pedicures. She does an amazing massage. David manages the salon. He’s the first person you see and he could not be nicer or more efficient. I’ve been to a lot of salons, and this one is my favorite.

I scheduled an appointment for an ombré French manicure today. I was promptly greeted and seated upon arrival. After a few minutes of being serviced, it became clear to me that the technician has little to no experience with doing ombré French. I was vocal about my dislikes and she tried her best to adjust. It never quite worked out though. I now have overly thick polish, due to having too many layers applied. The ombré is not ombré, it’s pretty much pink. And she ended up cutting my real nail that was underneath a tip on 1 of my pinky fingers. My advice to the salon is to assign techs who actually can perform the requested services, that way you’re not wasting your customer’s time and I’m not leaving feeling unhappy with the final result.

I’m not one to write reviews, but I had a terrible experience I have to share.Schedule appointment online, which went well, but when I arrived they had no idea who my appointment was with. So, with an annoyed attitude, they sent me with this lady to who was extremely rude and short with me. She rushed me when choosing the service I wanted and did my nails and feet so quick that it turned out terrible with spots and inconsistencies. Not only was the employee rude the whole time, she didn’t do half of what I asked for. Finally, when she was done painting my nails and feet, she forced me to pay and then have a seat so the polish can dry. I waited there for 20 mins and finally realized she left without telling me. I had to ask someone if they could redo some of my nails.Terrible staff, never returning. Would not recommend.

The guy at the front desk is awesome, everyone is so kindly but unfortunately I haven’t had a good experience. First of all every time I had my nexgen I need to go back and fix them for free cause they cracked in less than a week. The last time the guy at the front told me to change the person and I did it and was GREAT but I don’t think that I can go back.This comment is just to share my experience cause at the beginning I thought it was the product but now I know it’s not and I don’t want to reveal her name cause she’s a great person.

The most PAINFUL manicure I have ever had. My nail tech tore up my cuticles, leaving a nick or cut on almost all of my fingers. At one point she made me bleed so bad that she had to put liquid bandaid on my finger in order to finish the manicure. Extremely disappointed with the end result, and I will not ever be returning to this nail salon. If you enjoy having skin on your fingers... don’t come here.

Great new nail salon in Allen! I had been going to another but after ownership change some of my favorite techs went to Soho so I decided to give it a try. Been coming here for a few months now and never disappointed. You should check them out!

Ive been coming to the nail salon at this location for the last three months. Now under new management and name changed to Soho Nail Bar, I couldnt be more impressed it the positive changes and experience. There is definitely an upscale vibe here from the moment you walk in the door. The gentleman that works behind the front counter is both friendly and professional. My favorite technicians for Nexgen have been Tom and Danny. Both have great attention to detail and ensure a great job. Ill keep coming back for sure and highly recommend this location for all your nail needs!

I’ve recently just started going to this place after being loyal to another local salon who began to overcharge me for items I had not been charged for. I was so disappointed in them that I decided to make a change to Soho as it was close to my house. All I can say is the two times I have been there, for nextgen nails - regular and ombré, I have had a positive experience. The young man at the front desk is friendly and helpful. I know this place has changed management so I hope previous clients will come back and give this new salon a chance.

I really wanted to like this place. The guy at the front desk was extremely nice, however the nail tech were horrible. To start off, after less than 1 week my gel manicure started lifting. I understand that sometimes gel manicures last about to weeks but I shouldn’t have any lifting after 4 days. Second, the ladies keep pressuring you into getting a more expensive service. I just wanted a basic gel manicure and pedicure. They continuously kept asking me why I wanted the basic, and that I should try something else. Maybe if they weren’t so pushy I would’ve gotten a more expensive service. To say the least, I will not be returning.

I misread the hours and walked in 15 minutes before they closed (thinking I had over an hour) and even then they still took their time and did a FANTASTIC job. I’ve never loved my nails so much before. I got them done February 13th and I’m just now (March 7th) starting to think they look like I should get them redone soon. The salon was so beautiful and clean and they had a million colors to choose from. And everyone I talked to was really friendly and polite. I could not have loved my experience more!

So disappointed! The nail techs were stupid enough to say extremely nasty things about my friend. Guess they didn’t realize that my friend speaks Vietnamese although she told them she is Vietnamese. The manager acknowledged that those women talk like that all the time but think it’s nothing since most people don’t understand. I’d rather not go to a place where it’s acceptable to treat customers so poorly!! The manager did nothing to make the situation right.

I came here and got a pedi done for the first time at this place my polish chipped when I left so then I came back to get it fixed and then again it chipped agian so I didn’t have to come back to fix it again same day so I came back Monday to get it fixed the kid at the front desk stated that because it’s been a few days that he would charge me for a polish change whic is dum because I told him I am going to pick the same color again and it was only the tip of both of my big toes that chipped not the whole thing then he went and told me well you need to let it dry for at least 30 minutes so it won’t chip he said that day you left right away sorry I had to go to work in an hour I don’t have time to be sitting here waiting and I did let it dry for over an hour both times and it still chipped maybe get better polish because I haven’t had this problem anywhere else rude as hell

So have been searching for a nail salon for months and months as Im never happy. I found this place by accident. Im very impressed, gentleman on front desk was extremely helpful and made me feel welcome. He then introduced me to Danny. Danny did the wrong shape and quickly soaked it off and re-started without me asking, very kind indeed. I absolutely love my shape and nexgen so happy and will be back! Thank You!

Pretty disappointed; the nail tech Christina cut 2 fingers and acted like it was nothing. I went for Nexgen nails and pedi for my Birthday and ended up leaving in pain(mind you it’s 4 hours later and my fingers are very sore).Then to not even discount to make a wrong turn right was even worse. When a nail tech gets to the point they are saying sorry every 3-4 mins there might be a problem. Especially when her metal power file knocks into my $26,000 wedding ring and again I got a “sorry”.As far as the pedicure, it was great! I then became alarmed when the water wouldn’t empty from the bowl and they brought her a long metal rod to stick down the drain to see if it would drain, all while I’m still in the chair. Happy Birthday to me :(
