This place has a calm and friendly atmosphere. The shop conversations alone are worth a visit. Alexus is my go to for hair and beard, I give her a lot of freedom and she never disappoints. Dont be afraid to ask her what she thinks, but be prepared for an honest answer. If you run out of things to talk about, just ask her about the Nintendo 69 😁.

Tommy at beard and bristle did an excellent job on my haircut and beard trim. He was very professional and used a straight razor on my beard which makes the shape of my beard look better than it ever has. Tommy took his time and I could tell he really cares about his work. 10/10 would recommend and I will definitely be going back to him again.

If you like your beard DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! I have been growing out my beard for 8 months. I went in for clean up and Alexis cut back my beard to maybe one months growth on the sides and stache! I am SO upset. You can now see skin where there was once beard. And, I couldnt have been more clear that I only wanted just the slightest bit trimmed. I selected 1 star only because I couldnt select a negative star rating. I will NEVER go back to this place!

She did an incredible job on his beard and kept him comfortable throughout the grooming process. She was also super detailed, ensuring she created a style that he felt confident in!This is Chads first experience at a barbershop, and he definitely plans to be a repeat client. I went into the shop for a new, cleaned up look on December 30 and the entire experience was fantastic. Im so glad I stumbled upon them in my neighborhood. Because of their appointment system there was no crowded shop, no long waits, and there was no feeling of being rushed. Lexus took great care of me and gave me the exact look I wanted. The shop was had a welcoming old school vibe, great music, and a very comfortable atmosphere. I love supporting small business owners when I can and I will be back to maintain the look.Please make the trek out there, it is worth the trip.Went back on 5/25/2020 to have my head shaved as a show of support for my boss who is going through chemo. I drove from 40 miles away because I wanted something different. I was tired of the shops that wanted my money, but not want to take pride in cutting my hair! I have never had such great service in my life!! The hair cut down to the beard trim was done correct, and they made sure I loved it before I left my chair. Let me start with the good stuff. The barber is a nice guy. The overall service is good but thats not why I have been there. If you dont get the haircut you need everything else is worthless. The left picture is what I asked for, the right picture is what I got. Obviously not good at doing fade haircuts. I also dont like that you dont face the mirror when he is cutting your hair.

Best haircut Ive had in years. Tui did an amazing job with my thick hair, which typically gives most stylists trouble. Aside from the cut, the atmosphere is unlike anything Ive found around the North Texas area. I have always wanted the high end experience of The Boardroom Salon for Men, it just seemed like a really cool experience... But that is exactly what I got at BEARD AND BRISTLE! When I first heard a beard trim was $25 I thought they were crazy, but now I understand why! From start to finish I was blown away by this place. Ive been going to different barbers and the boardroom the last few years (come from Arkansas) but Ive found my go to place. I got the beard trim with TUI and the experience was better than anywhere in the Dallas area. She took extreme care of me and was very detailed. Theres two total barbers and you have to book ahead of time. You might think its pricey, but once youre there, you will feel like you are getting a deal, best place in Dallas hands down. Also, they clearly know their whisky!
