Excellent! The stylist did a perfect job on my sons hair. We will ask for her for now on. All the staff were very kind and respectful!

The Asian women Yen and the other Asian women are good about cutting my hair. All they have to do is ring the paper up from the computer and they know how to cut my hair. Also they wash my hair of course. I have been going since January of 2020.

I tried once not using my normal person because she wan not in. I specifically asked before the cut if she had “a shaver” to take the sides and back to the skin. She said yes. I do understand that many of the stylists don’t have shavers. Hair cut was done. Uneven. Asked to even it out. After the second try I gave up and said it was fine. Then...no shaver. She originally said she had on me and never did. Now...I have to go somewhere else to get it evened out and shaved wasting money and half of my Sunday. Advice for them...just be honest right off the bat and there would be no hard feelings. Advice for customers...just don’t try someone you’re not used to. And yes...I was still required to pay full price.

I booked online, however when I got to the shop I got 45 minutes delay, that I had to wait in the car.But Hoda Is the best Hairstylist very friendly and professional, she has a 5 STAR.

The attendant was attentive walking me through the process of getting a haircut with a mask on. The questions she asked ensured that I got the haircut that I wanted and expected.

Awful. My boyfriend went here for a trim. His hair was about 4-5 inches long on the top and about 3-4 inches on the side and back. He wanted about an inch off all over so he could keep the length. The backs and the sides are about now about 1/2-1 inch and the top is about 2 inches. Short. There is also a solid line along the back of his head. He doesnt want to go back to have it fixed because he doesnt want them to mess up and cut it EVEN SHORTER. Dont come here.

Today 4/19/19: (2nd complaint)Since my last visit 4 months ago, I purchased a $1000 membership to Boardroom Mens Salon even though this location is 1 mile from my house. Today I returned bc of an urgent need for haircuts this afternoon. Checked In on the app (my app is updated), it reflected Checked In for 3 kids... got into the store and nothing was on the screenTold the manager politely and showed her the app saying CHECKED IN but my name not being on the board and she just said I dont know and turned away from me. This is the worse customer service retail location in north Dallas in my opinion. Everytime these ladies just prove they dont care and dont want to talk to you. (Pic attached of the app)4 Months Ago:Sophia the manager refused to honor the fact that I checked in online but an employee marked me off the list on accident.I had 3 kids and myself in the store, ready for 4 haircuts... about to drop a few $100 at least but she was so rude.I showed her I checked in online, showed her the confirmation (attached), but she would not honor it bc her computer didnt have me on the list anymore... then she told me to get in line as a walk-in and wait 20-30 mins with all 3 of my kids (all 5 and under) until the first of us could be seen.I wasnt on the list anymore bc another employee checked me in when it wasnt me... it was someone else so I got cleared off the list.I wish this branch had a manage who care about clients.The # of 1 star reviews for this location is staggering considering its a haircut place.

I have been going to 1 stylist here for over 15 years. Always consistent, courteous, helpful and kind. Great location in Allen.

This is a really great place & friendly staff! I took my son to get a haircut & they were great with him and took their time since he isn’t a big fan of haircuts. The manager Clara is so sweet & really made sure we had a good experience. I would recommend this place to everyone!

Checked in via the app. Ashley was awesome! Helped my boys and I get checked in and get our MVP’s.Timing was also great! Store and tools were very clean.Well worth the trip to have these ladies cut your hair and get a MVP cut.

Ive been taking my son here for some time. Ashley always does a super great job on his hair. Which is hard to do as he has a ton of it several cow-licks in tricky spots. He is very picky and she doesnt disappoint. Shop is clean and well maintained. We will return.

I understand you can use the app online but my phone will not allow me to download it right now. I had to wait with 3 kids for an hour to get my sons hair cut while everyone online kept pouring in pushing us further back. I just wish they had an option for people who can not use the app. I finally left and went somewhere else.

I had a wonderful experience at the Sport Clips - Allen location. I chose the Next Available option, and I was lucky enough to get Dominique as my stylist within 5 minutes. She was very friendly and warm, and instantly made me feel comfortable. The quality of the haircut was rivaled only by the quality of conversation. Id highly recommend this location, and more specifically, Dominique (Although Im sure all of the stylists are wonderful) :)

I have been a Sport Clips customer for a couple of years now—really appreciate that they seem to be one of the only non-salons that can do a scissor cut and not unilaterally give the much-too-common fade that every guy has nowadays.However, this is not the case at this location. The staff do not know how to listen or take direction. I just had my hair cut with Yen, and after explaining how I wanted my hair (with pictures!) she immediately picked up the scissors and cut exactly how I had asked her not to. From that moment I knew that I was in for it.Not only was the cut not to my liking, but she failed to blow dry or brush the hair off of my head at the end—I literally had handfuls of hair coming off as I walked out.Maybe not enough to stop me from coming to Sport Clips yet, but certainly enough to keep me from ever returning to this location.

The haircut you receive is perfectly fine, and the staff is usually friendly. Customer service is not always great. Several times I have arrived right at opening time only to find that people have been able to check in online; despite being in the shop first I have been served after them. They are also inconsistent with the time that the doors open. Sometimes they let people check in and wait at 8:50, and other times they tell people to wait outside until 9. Shop opens at 9, but the barbers are almost never ready to see customers at this time. They are usually still getting set up and chatting despite several people waiting. Any of these things are not individually a big deal, but it gets a little frustrating when management doesnt seem to prioritize the little things in order to make the experience better.

As a combat veteran I am very disappointed that the military discount was decreased. Taking away shows less appreciation for the veterans.. I did like utilizing the facilities but with this happening I will not be doing business with Sports Clips anymore.

My experience was great, and Nicole was a great stylist; she cut my hair the exact way I was looking for. I will definitely get my haircut here in the future.

This is the worst haircut experience Ive ever received in my life. The stylist was cold and non-communicative about my haircut.She barely listened to anything I had to say and just started hacking away, taking off twice the amount of hair than I wanted. She finished my haircut in less than ten minutes and was clearly just trying to turn and burn her guests.I think I could have told her that I wanted a mohawk and I still would have ended up with the same, generic, one-size fits all cut.This is the McDonalds drive-thru value meal of haircuts.Its a good thing that hair grows back.It seemed pointless to complain on the spot as half my hair is already gone before I knew it and I figured my time would be better spent warning potential customers. DO NOT GO HERE!

We walked in and got on the list. There were only 3 cutters working. We had 2 guys in front of us and one of the cutters was finishing up. Just then, the cutter that was finishing looked up and her brother walked in for a haircut. Not on the list, he skipped the line and got seated before everyone. This was extremely rude and not professional. We waited and when she came available, I asked her and she told me it was her brother and they are allowed to serve family members first. I also noticed the brother did not even pay. We waited until a different cutter was available and used someone else. Then tipped 50.00. This place needs to get their priorities in order. Shame

Just went for a hair cut with my dad and husband. I took him first time there first time. Sarah cut my dads and Patty did my husbands.Sarah was the most pathetic, rude, frustrated hair dresser I have ever seen. Patty was okay but I dont think she knew English completely. Really bad customer service. Hope we have to never go back there. This feedback would remind them that they are in a customer service business.

My husband went to Great Clips in the morning to get and entire haircut and he paid $6.99. In the afternoon we took our 11 years old to cut the sides to Sport Clips because he uses a man bun. Big mistake!!!I was overpriced and ended up paying $20 plus tip $22. I felt It was a hand armed robbery. The service didnt even take 10 minutes.From now on Great Clips is my store or even the latin stores next to Fiesta in Plano. Overthere they charge $10.

2 years ago I lost a bet, which meant I would have to grow my har out to donate. 2 years later, last week, I finally had it long enough to chop off and donate. Ashley did a wonderful job with the request, and did an even more amazing job with my haircut using only a single reference photo, after having to cut almost all of it off!

If your posted hours are until 5:00, then stay open until 5:00. If you want to close at 4:55, then change your hours. My son and I we in the lobby at 5 minutes till close, and the woman at the desk turned us away because they were closed. I think its time to start looking for a new hair-cutting place. SportClips obviously doesnt need my business anymore.

Nicole at SC is the best stylist Ive ever had. Not only is she friendly but she pays attention to detail and does not rush the cut. Shes the best they have.

I have been to Sport Cuts a number of times, in the directions on my hair cut is to cut with scissors. Today, Patty B. at the McDermott location cut the hair with clippers. Not a good cut, then was told about this being cut with the clippers stated there is no difference. If she had intended to try to please me she could have asked if she could cut it with the clippers, but to indicate that I am stupid, that is compounding the arrogance of this person. Not only that but at check out there is no way of paying and not giving a tip. Not a good experience today, not sure if I will continue to use this clip joint or not.

I love to come to this SportsClips and get my haircut from Clara. She is very professional and friendly. She is the reason why I will go out of my way to go to this SportsClips. She is a keeper and you all did a great job of finding her.

Dominique is an A+++ Stylist I highly recommend. I was able to get in quickly and get my triple play haircut just the way I wanted it, will come back soon eager for another great haircut.

Yen Chau is the best hairstylist in the DFW period, Ive been a regular client of this location for 8 years and counting.

Showed exactly what I wanted twice, and still got a buzz cut. I went from 2 inches to about 1/4 inch, and cant even style it. Ive got about 3 weeks of growing before I can get back to what I carefully asked for.

A rude woman almost ruined this experience for me, her name was Julia, and instead of hearing me out she decided to first cut me off when I asked if anybody there cut women’s hair. She clearly didn’t know I had been there six months prior to have a cut from Sophia and instead gave me attitude and said they won’t do women’s hair and if they did it would be straight across with no layers. Angelica helped me out and said she was more than happy to cut my long women’s hair as many of them were trained in that so it costs the same. Thank goodness Angelica was there to save the day since Julia made me so annoyed I almost left. I won’t stop going here, as my husband and son come together, but from now on I’ll be sure to ignore her denials. They do women’s hair. Angelica was nice and apologetic and did my hair reguardless of what Julia said. Julia’s like barely 21 and has only done hair for six months verses Angelica who’s done men and women’s hair for 32 years. Then there’s Sophia who does hair for 20+ years so... ignore that rude receptionist and get your Jaír done reguardless if you’re a guy or girl. Julia is rude and obviously just learning in this area but it doesn’t excuse the behavior. I’m glad I was seen and will continue to come here and will always refuse her and people like her. 🙃🙌🏽
