I cannot begin to begin to express how helpful Mikaela was in assisting with repair of my pendant. I used to live in NM and my necklace was damaged . I now live in AZ and had sent in my pendant for repair. She was extremely helpful in heling me define which stone and even helped me with selection for an additional piece . Mati is a jewelry & watch store in Albuquerque New Mexico. Their watches & jewelries are high class with a decent price & with other items coming with discounts. When we went there on March 31, 2019; Roberto the salesperson took the time to walk us through the jewelries & watches. Aside from the watch that’s great to start with, Roberto’s enthusiasm & respect for customers like us helped us decide to buy the watch from their store. My wife is a big fan of Mati jewelry so with a birthday coming up I called Mati (we are about 2,500 miles from ABQ). I was looking for a specific piece and much to my dismay it was not in stock. Thats when Mati really stepped up! I only had about 12 days before I needed it but Roberto ( my sales associate) said they could have the factory make it and get it to me on time. The jewelry arrived one day earlier than planned and it is awesome. It was very nicely gift wrapped and also included a jar of locally made raspberry jam.I generally have a bit of reservation when special ordering an item from a store that I have not been into and from folks I havent met. But any concern here was unwarranted. Roberto (whom I highly recommend) worked with his manager to price the item and he kept me informed of its progress while at the factory.I could not be more pleased with my purchase and highly recommend Mati Jewelry.

Bought a Tag Heuer watch that turned out to be factory defective. Mati Uptown sent it back to repair every time as needed until Tag finally agreed to replace out the timer within warranty and everythings been fine since. Good job.

CAUTION have all jewelry checked prior to purchase by a reputable jeweler. I purchased my wedding ring 3 years ago. I am now working on getting a divorce and have gone to over 5 jewelers in Albuquerque who have verified that the center stone in my ring is not 1.10 ctw but less than .65 ctw.When I went into Mati and brought this to their attention they stated that there was no way that could be true. I have now been contacted by two of the managers and it was in fact true, Mati sold a $10,990 Hearts on Fire engagement ring and this ring is not even worth a 1/4 of that.We are in contact with the Attorney Generals Office, we have a claim into the BBB and we have contacted channel 7 news.Since finding out that my ring was not what they said it was, we have found out that this is common for Mati. They have had to pay back customers in full because they are selling diamonds and not giving the correct certificates.If you shop here beware of the risk you are taking. If you have a diamond from here, go get it checked, I hope you did not get sold a fake diamond.

I’m usually not the reviewing type but I just wanted to say this place is awesome! I was in ABQ for work and thought I’d go kill some time. I’ll admit I’m a total watch nerd and have read so much on HODINKEE and other sites about Pateks but being from Idaho I had never seen one in person. As somebody that in this lifetime will probably never be able to afford a Patek, I still wanted to visit Mati to check them out. I was nervous to go in since I knew I wouldn’t be purchasing but just wanted to look. Right when I came in Miguel welcomed me in and asked what brought me in to the store. I admitted I’m a watch nerd and was curious to see a Patek. It was awesome! Miguel spent probably a half hour with me educating and showing me different Pateks they have. After that, he even went through some of the other brands they carry. It was so interesting to see they carry everything from $150 gshocks to $85,000 Pateks. Thank you Miguel for taking the time with me, it made for a great experience and I hope that you can check the box on your bucket list and get a Patek:) When I’m in the market for my next watch, I’d love to purchase from Mati. I cant believe that this is supposeably one of the best jeweles in Albuquerque the Company is only strong enough to handle returns 30 days after sings of a weak company and service is something they need to work on my dad got me $1,687.00 doller watch Tissot, but he bought it two years ago, my dad dose pretty well for him self so he bought it brand new and put it in his safe and decited to give it to me this December well i didnt like it he told me he bought it from a great company dont worry he is sure they will make happy well they basically ruined everything for me I took my girlfriend thinking that these people would be vary helpful and no I am so embarrassed please dont buy gifts here only if you shop for number 1 thats the mind set at this companyThey closed a couple stores too maybe just going out of business thats why they are so hard to deal with on return policy.

We have purchased watches from Mati since 1999. We are usually very particular about specific limited edition makes and models and Mati has been abe to meet expectations. For the watch collector, I Highly recommend the Manager Mr. Miguel S. Jaramillo. He has gone the extra mile for us and always follows up. For example, he followed through on getting us an Omega Speedmaster Snoopy Limited edition and always spends the time with you whether you are looking at a Casio G-Schock or Patek Philippe. Highly recommend this store.

Around 1997-98 my Wife bought a beautiful Bracelet that I had seen on the cover of a magazine that was in our hotel. It is a Silver with 5, 14K running horses. We are from Alaska but my Wife is from NM so she travels often to see family. I fell in love with this bracelet, I only remove it for X-rays etc. I had caught the tail of one of the horses about 13-14 years later and she took it with her and they replaced the entire horse, re-blacked the silver background and made it look new!, I dont even remember them Charging for it! Now it will be 25 years and I still love it, it has received more compliments than I can count ! I am sending it with my wife next week when she goes to visit family to have it polished and anything they think it needs. I wouldnt trust anyone else to do the work. The week after we bought it I met the Mom of the salesman while in line at ABQ Horse Track, she was walking behind us and commented on the bracelet and she had one also, got to love that! In 25 years this will be the longest it has been off my right wrist.
