I recently purchased a ring online and I got an email with an efficient overview of their lifetime warranty. A condition is that you have to have it inspected for loose stones, mounting and cleaning only from them. Which Im totally on board with only having one Jeweler consistently nurture the quality of the jewelry.As I said, I purchased it online and having been shipped from one destination to another (me). I went into one of the local stores here to see if I could have someone inspect and clean the ring before my 6 month follow-up from my purchase date.They gladly assisted me. Inspected and cleaned my ring and even complimented me on my piece. High quality service. 5 stars all the way. She said See ya in March!.
Id like to say wow! Claudia (Store Manager) is the absolute nicest, most friendly person Ive dealt with in the business! The questions you have, she has the answers! We had an issue with a ring that was sized and once she noticed the issues, she didnt hesitate in getting it taken care of with a replacement! Her customer service is beyond 5stars! She has my life long business.

The customer service at this location is completely awful! I placed a service request for a lost stone (which my warranty covers) before COVID. So I called once the store opened up again and was told they couldnt find my necklace for the service request. I spoke to multiple people, they finally found it and send it off to have the stone replaced. Then, when the necklace was fixed the stone was too small, you could clearly see the missing space between the stone and the jewelry. When I brought it to their attention, the man told said it looks beautiful to me. When I complained and said it was not the right size of stone, he proceeded to tell me that I was lucky they even replaced the stone for me because they dont do that and he was doing me a favor. So I asked to talk to a manager and Claudia agreed to fix this, but first she also made it a point to tell me it was a favor and that the necklace was never lost. AlthoughI wasnt even complaining about whether or not it was lost, just the quality of the repair was completely hideous. It would be in your best interest to go to the westside location or any other location for that matter because these people are seriously just awful.
I really love Kays Jewelers. I always have such a great experience. I love the financing they offer, as well as the consistency in their customer service.I came in today to have my watches repaired. Claudia was very kind, thorough, and courteous. She was very patient and she reassured me that my watches would be taken care of.I also looked around the store at some pieces. The glass displays were clean, well kept, and sparkling! They sold me on some stuff, as usual.Definitely recommend.

My husband and I took our rings to get them resized and paid to get one of my diamonds replaced because it fell out. My ring is a caret all around. When I picked up my ring, first off waited for almost half hour before being seen. Helped a couple out before us when they came way after us. Waited 3 weeks to get our rings back. I got my ring and they replaced it with some fake diamond. By far did it match my diamonds. Sent it back now have to wait another 3 weeks. BAD BAD SERVICE. Im glad we didnt spend our money there. The customer service at the Coronado Mall location is terrible. I have not once come into the store and had a pleasant experience. They don’t know what they are doing and can never locate our jewelry in the system. I have never had this issue at other locations. I will not go back and will drive out of my way to go to another location.
An employee with knowledge on all products is very helpful. This location has very engaged employees. I recommend this location ... they are 5 of 5 for accommodating my request.
The Kays I go to at Coronado Mall has the best people who have the best attattude every time I go in! This is Everytime I go there. Its the only place I buy my jewelry.

This location has very poor customer service. I dropped my ring off in November to have a missing stone replaced and I was told it would take a couple of weeks. When I called to check on the progress of the ring, Jose, informed me that the stone color could not be matched and the ring would just need to be replaced. Jose said he would order the new ring, we are still in November. Come January I go into kay jewelers to check on the status of the new ring when Jose tells me that somehow the order had been canceled. Again, Jose says he will re-order the ring, in my size, to save time from sending out to be resized once recieved. Fast forward to today. I go into kay jewelers and guess whos ring is not there in the size promised, you guessed correct, mine. I left without a ring and I am happy to say it is a small price to pay for the joy of never having to deal with this man again.
This jewelry store has no employees that are professional. I have had more than 4 problems with just 2 rings we bought from here. I feel that their unprofessional ways have caused me distress and even when they say theyre putting your ring on rush, they still take 2 weeks to do what should take 3 days just to size a Damn ring. I have never had So many issues with a place that claims to have the utmost professional people along with organization.

Unsatisfactory Rating: Quality of their product is below average you can buy jewelry from the bubble gum machine that is better quality. Poor customer service as well and they dont stand behind their total satisfaction guarantee. Shop at other jewelry stores other than Kay Jewelers.

I just stopped to have my wedding set checked for loose diamonds then cleaned. She did not check for loose diamonds before starting to clean and when i asked for my rings back, she didnt immediately give them back and continued to clean them. Normally I would not be bothered by this however i have lost diamonds in the machine that cleans. Ever since then, i ask to check first. (Usually I dont even have to ask, its actually common sense) so from my experience this location is not pleasant on the phone and dont care about someone elses 15k wedding set. Too bad i was going to spend money here...i wouldnt.
The stone in my ring was not tightened when it was sent away for a week to be tightened. After I got the loose stoned ring back, Virginia (manager) was rude and threatened to not cover the cost of a potentially lost stone reguardless of the lifetime warranty I purchased.
DONT EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM HERE!!!...they are a rip off and won’t refund my money!!..they ripped me off for $1000 and when I emailed them and told them they over charged me all they said was ooh well your return date passed

The jewelry here sucks almost has bad as their employees attitudes. Lori is the rudest witch I have ever had the pleasure of wasting my breathe on. She really needs to take some courses on dealing with customers. Or perhaps if she hates her job so much she should find another one.

Word to the wise,if buying an engagement set when they tell you theyll buy it back or upgrade,they wont unless you pay double for the next set which in my case wouldve been $16,000!
