While traveling on the interstate, my Cummins diesel truck lost power. Did a quick search on my phone and I picked Gomez because it sounded like a “pop” shop and was close. They got right to work and even let me drop my camper off in their yard since their business is crowded. It was a dirty fuel filter, thank God, an easy fix! I thank him and his friendly family!

A diesel mechanic told me I needed a $300 part to correct my problem. Mike Gomez listened to my problem, told me the other mechanic had diagnosed the problem incorrectly and replaced a $28 part and I drove away a happy customer. Mr. Gomez came out early this morning to see what the problem was with my converted school bus. One mobile mechanic company told me it was my fuel injector and wanted $1350!!! Well Mr. Gomez was here 15 minutes and had my bus running. As it turned out it was a blue fuse that cost $10 or less! He will be my mechanic as long as Im in ABQ! An honest man! He even gave me a ride to the ATM. Its nice to know there are some good people you can call on.

My Volvo semi truck broke down I went to T.a and Volvo dealership they wanted me sit for a week, went to Gomez diesel they fixed my truck and I was able to save thausands of dollars and deliver a load 1500 miles away

If I could give these guys 10 stars they would have it. I bought a truck there in town sight unseen. Long story short it was not in running condition and I had a guy flown in to drive it home over 15 hours away. Mike and his team cleared their schedules and worked their butts off to get it up and running ASAP. I highly recommend them. They are smart Mechanics, trustworthy, and have VERY reasonable prices. They exceeded my expectations by far.

Great place and very reasonable prices.Mike and his staff went above and beyond to replace our radiator in our class a motorhome when we were overheating driving thru Albuquerque. Our motorhome is our home and Mike made sure things were done as quick as could be but also done correctly. He even washed it when done.Mike and all his staff were fun, friendly and very courteous. Run away first said it was one thing then said it was anothet but a third thing ended up being what.it was . then didnt put gasket on rite had to have it re done the part it was 150 .00 was fixed thr original they charged 2500 hide from these guys

I brought my class a motorhome with a Cummins 5.9 Turbo on a Freightliner chassis to Gomez Diesel after the local Freightliner dealer refused to work on a motorhome. I simply needed the air filter replaced, and I even had the filter. After calling a couple places and being told it was first cone first served without a guarantee on when they would get to it, I called Gomez. No problem. We can do it when you need it. And I set an appointment.When we arrived, we were greeted by the owner, Mike Gomez. Hes owned this family business for over 27 years. He doesnt have a cushy lounge area, but he did everything to make us comfortable while we waited.It turns out Freightliner sent me the wrong filter. No problem for Mike. One call and 15 minutes later he had the right filter in front of me...and he didnt even charge a mark up.While changing the filter he found a couple of minor issues which he adjusted for me... NO CHARGE.The hourly rate is lower than others in the area but the quality is top notch.Need your diesel serviced in Albuquerque, GOMGOMEZ!
