I was a first time walk-in customer. The service I wanted was a natural overlay, no tips. I was immediately greeted at the door and asked to sit and wait for someone named Kimberly. She arrived about five minutes later and completed the job. I absolutely love her work, she was quick but thorough. Very gentle as well. She used a nude colored acrylic for the overlay and a top coat to finish. I would recommend her to anyone.

I came here for a removal I told the staff i would like a soak off and they insisted on taking them off by using a tip and sliding under the apex. During this process I was cut by the drill when my finger started bleeding she applied super glue on it after I told her not to and half of my nail was taken off. I called the owner and spoke with her in person she continued to argue with me and raised her voice. And just told me that it will grow back in time. This business is very unprofessional and gives out poor quality nails. DO NOT COME HERE.

Wasnt happy with the service even though all I saw in the place were African Americans. Maybe they had visited the establishment more than once, and maybe they had a special tech they loved. My first visit and I wasnt happy with the outcome of my nails. The person that did my nails, well I really dont have words for him, his technique, or his personality. I know if I went back, he wont get my service. They also need to go on the website and update their prices.

I was told about this place and finally decided to get my nails done. I came in thinking it would be a long wait time because there were seven other people waiting by the door already but was pleasantly shown otherwise. I spoke to a man at the front desk and he told me it would only take 15 minutes. I believe I actually only waited 10. The nail tech was very kind and gave me exactly what I wanted. In total, I was there for 30 maybe 40 minutes. I was in and out quickly and the quality was not compromised.

Their nails are increasingly high and not even on their cuticle, its visible. Also visibly, the nails were terribly done. Although there were multiple get ups, it was a great customer-friendly service. Normal price rates aswell.

Been going to this place for years but as the years go by the service gets worse. Only people I let do my nails are the owners so that’s that. Was there yet again for over two hours for full set and pedicure. Was able to get my pedi but left out without being serviced for nails because they let people walk in and just take a seat no matter who was in place first. This isn’t the first time it isn’t the second but it’s most definitely the last time I will be going back.

This is one of the best shops in Albany Georgia. I always go to Kim the owner for my nail services I also get grwat pedicures there. Kim is a very good person. She loves and supports the people in the community. I have a small online boutique, shes allowed me to come on & share my merchandise with her customers and employees, it was actually her idea. I have seen other vendors set up & sale their merchandise there with her permission and blessing. Kim truly is a great person and the nail shop again is one of the best here in Albany. 💯🤎

Its always busy, but that speaks for the quality of work they do. I recommend Kayla shes my go to nail tech and Kim or Linda on the brow waxing

Lot of technicians with a very wide array of abilities here! Have THE MOST up to date products and technology in the industry. From Mood change polish, hombrè, colored acrylic powder, glow in the dark, glitter dip, diamon studs or chrome, American nails is the best salon in the City.

I enjoy shopping there and prices are read reasonable and customer service nice

10/10 recommend. Ask for Austin on the nails.

Please remove the ability to make online appointments when they are no longer booking appointments online. I assume the business is great but this unfortunate experience is not good business.

The finished product is okay. But i felt like the lady rushed through my nails. And since when ppl dont wash their hands after the filing process. The lady told me i can wash my hands if i wanted to but that was after i asked!?! Oh and dont bother setting up an appointment they dont go by it.

The older man messed up my nails. After I left the shop, getting clothes out of the dryer, my nail came off. Went back they fixed it. Went back home to get ready for my date another one came off while I was getting ready. Another one came off while I was playing spades with my friends. It was so.... embarrassing.

Unfortunately the older guy messed up my nails and I had to pay $40 for just a full in. He was rude and could care less about giving you your money’s worth! Will not be coming back!

My pedicure was great, but my nails was the opposite. It was the wrong shape, wrong color, burned my fingers multiple times and in the end, no refund. I would not recommend unless you like rushed fill ins & I will not be returning.

Booked 2 appointments online, received confirmations via email and text. Arrived at the salon only for them to tell me they wouldnt honor the appointments because they were closing early AND the online booking they no longer use. If you no longer use it, then why is it still functioning? Ridiculous.

Gave this place a try since Im new to the city. Worst place ever. Some guy did my nails so fast so he could do someone elses. I told him I wanted rhinestones and he had an attitude about that. For the price I paid service was horrible. Will not go back even if free. Stay away from this place they only care about quantity not quality.

Whatever you do dont go here to get your nails done. Ms. Kim loves to change the price on your nails. I went to school for nails and graduated in 2009. I can do my own but I chose American Nails as my place to get nails done. 99% of their customers are black. I would rate a 0 but the rate bar wont allow me. Getting rich off black people service. Yet want to offer poor quality and raise prices on your regular customers. American Nails should be ashamed. I was a faithful customer for the past nine years how dare you treat me that way. Your business will not continue to thrive treating customers bad.

I had a great experience at this place the people were nice and they were ready and willing to help in to go above and a to make sure that I was a satisfied customer I actually got custom nails done today and they are beautiful and she took her time to make sure that I would love them.

So slow and unprofessional

Not a good experience. Sat there while she took her time on client. Which I didn’t mind bc I wanted her to do same for me. Then another person comes in she stop to do a repair on one finger of this person. Then Another person who request Kim comes in stating she had to be work in a few then she rushes on my nails, I had to tell her twice that’s not shape I ask for then she pushes me off hurriedly to get my toes done so she can get to lady who say she had to be to work. Mind you, I guess she didn’t realize I know she skipped steps on my nails and she didn’t polish my nails at that point either. So now, I’ve been in there over 2 hours and I’m sitting waiting to get my toes and nails polished. After almost 3 hours I finally get done. Then the price Kim quoted me wasn’t the same when I got to register. My time wasn’t valued. Need to respect each customers time.

This is a very well put together nail shop. They do excellent nails however, when went to get my individual lashes done on two separate ocassions i got the pink eye infection. The only reason I went back a second time was because i Thought i was the problem but the second time my eye started bothering me and the next day I awoke with the pink eye. This is disgusting. I do not recommend anyone get their individual lashes done here.

Fantastic nail shop, its super clean and pleasant smelling. The nail staff were gentle, attentive, very creative with freestyle designs and a wide variety of colors/products to choose from; my mani/pedi was done to perfection. Very nice atmosphere here! Would highly recommend it!

I took my daughter to get her nails and toes did for prom of course the wait time was hella high I went to sleep in the car.. Went back in and she was pouting and I knew something was wrng! Nail tech messed up her nails and had to redo them before I paid them $85 it was no time to experiment with my daughter nails... If a customer know what colors she wants then give them what they want..dont try to change their minds!!

So bad. I showed her a design on my phone. she said she could it for me. She was annoyed that I took a while to choose my colors. Then when she did the design it was HORRIBLE!! I included a photo. I asked her to remove the designs completely and leave it blank. She said “oh you’re lucky we are not busy today”. That was UNACCEPTABLE! She did a HORRIBLE job on the design. It was so ugly. She should’ve been honest about her artistic abilities.
