I have been seeing Taylor for about a year for my nails and about 6 months for my hair cuts - she slays them both!!!! She is friendly, funny and I can bring her pictures of an idea for my nails and she makes then 1000 times better! Everyone at the salon is nice and they offer seasonal pedis and beverages (yes the adult kind as well as the everyday stuff)

I had a spa manicure and a classic pedicure. Very first time doing either. The 2 ladies that I had were very polite and did a great job on my nails. Definitely would recommend, and I know I will be going back.

This is the best salon Ive been to in Albany. And Ive been to almost all of them. The staff is always sincerely friendly and its a very luxurious place.My hair always comes out amazing and I always leave feeling and looking like a million bucks. Exactly how a good salon should be. I always get compliments on hair and always say 14th st is the best in town.I highly recommend this salon to anyone who wants quality color and style or nails for affordable prices. Always clean and welcoming! Atmosphere is very sophisticated. Karissa has been doing my hair for countless years and I always walk out with my expectations exceeded. She’s done my nails and pedicure and does amazing with those also. Refreshments are offered every time! Worth every penny!

I have been working with Taylor for hair and Amanda for nails. Great people to sit and chat with. I still love my purple hair which is fading beautifully after 2 months from the work Taylor did to prep my hair beforehand. Amanda is always willing to try out new minimalist designs on my nails and i have loved them every time. She is also gentle on my nails so they dont break often and the polish lasts! I believe I have been coming to this salon for over 13yrs! Melynda is the BEST! From facials, to waxing she has years of experience and is wonderful to visit with. The building is welcoming and the team is always so friendly. They continued to stay open during these hard times and found creative ways to protect and provide their services. I absolutely love going to Fourteenth Avenue. I go specifically to Ashley Harp and she always gives me everything I want with my hair. She is so personable and I love being one of her clients. The entire salon has a great atmosphere that I love.

Dont go here!! When they screw up your hair and not give you what you wanted, they argue with you and lie and say that you waited 30 days to call so they get out of fixing your hair. The owner didnt call back and the girl I talked to had a bad attitude. I can see why they have bad reviews. I should not have gone here and I never will again. Complete waste of money and time.

I saw Melynda for waxing services and was thoroughly pleased with the process. When I called to inquire about pricing and availability, the person on the phone was knowledgeable and friendly. I received a reminder call the day before, and found the lobby area to be clean and tasteful with hand sanitizer and delicious sample lotions available. Melynda herself was courteous and communicative with a gentle hand. I will definitely be a return customer and may try out some of the other services in the future.

The work Melinda did on my facial scrub was amazing, the massage by Annie was very relaxing and pleasant, and Tiffany was precise and excellent in her pedi work. The team and environment is very committed to their work and it shows. Thanks for a wonderful day!

Had to get my hair done for a wedding and of course I waited last minute. Unfortunately most salons in Albany including my normal hair stylist was booked, Luckily I was able to call 14th Ave. and Elydia was able to get me in the same day due to her being available on Sundays! The color and trim she did made me feel so much more confident in myself and I absolutely love how my hair turned out plus I was offered a free glass of wine!Excellent service! And thank you Elydia!

Got my nails done by Kenzie today! She did an amazing job and I got the exact nails I was looking for. She checked in multiple times through the process to make sure they were the right color, lenghth and etc... She also recommended a product for my eyelashes after commenting on her beautiful lashes, and I cant wait to try the product!

This place is great! Its a very classy place with friendly staff. I really enjoy coming in and feeling pampered. Ashley is my go-to gal and I always leave happy with her work! So much that even when I moved up to Portland, I still drive down here to get my hair done.

I love Madison at Fourteenth Avenue! She has worked miracles on my hair during and right after pregnancy (now my hair actually behaves and doesnt require a miracle). It is always so nice to see her and spend some time at the salon. The atmosphere is relaxing, yet fun & you can tell they paid a lot of attention to detail while designing it. I also love that all of the products my stylist has recommended to me are ones I actually find myself using regularly. I used to get sold products i never used, but this is not the case here. I genuinely love all of the products I have and never feel pushed to buy anything. Also, I really appreciate the knowledgeable recommendations for products because I am definitely not a hair expert, but I want to take care of it properly, so I find it so helpful when I am told what to use and how to do it. They also have lots of other services, I just have a lot of experience with the hair side. Go ahead, treat yourself to a day here!

DO NOT GET YOUR NAILS DONE HERE. I had a terrible experience both times I went with different technicians. The second time the girl rushed my appointment and did not fix my nails when asked because they were uneven and the French tip application was terrible all jagged. I’ve tried to find a person who I can come to time and time again it won’t be here. Especially for the prices they charge, I’d rather go to the mall.

I got a cut and color and it turned out so great! The stylist took her time to understand exactly what I wanted and communicated with me through the entire process. Prices are high, but specials are run every month, and the service is certainly worth it. Ill definitely be back!

After a horrible experience at Adore Salon in Corvallis in which they cancelled my daughters hair appt when we got to the salon (we drove 45 mins to get there and made the appt 3 weeks in advance due to Covid-19). I called 14th Ave and they worked my daughter into their schedule same day and Taylor did a beautiful job on my daughters hair. She is ready to graduate! Thank you so much for your customer service and the smile on my daughters face. We appreciate you!

Ashley did a great job. Colored my hair and eyebrows to match. Love the color she helped me choose. Very close to my original hair color. She is very friendly and pleasant. Loved the haircut too.

Very relaxing environment. I saw Jacob for an hour and a half massage. Being a busy hairstylist for 10 years, my body has been experiencing chronic back and neck pain. Jacob was extremely professional and found and targeted my problems perfectly. So satisfied I booked 4 more appointments before leaving. Excited for my next visit.

I got a full set of gel nails. I was not happy. I went to see Dominique and she fixed me up right! I love my nails and I am looking forward to going again.

Ashley H is great for hair. Ive gone to her a few times. She even coached me through cutting my hair into a pixie. Ive also had my eyebrows waxed and tinted here, have had a facial, and am about to get my first bikini wax here. Its a solid place with a ton of services. Ive always had a good experience. I recommend it.

Ive been to Fourteenth Avenue twice now for spa pedicures and Ive had amazing experiences. The staff has been very friendly and helpful. Im planning to go back every few weeks, and next month Im trying the monthly special spa pedicure that is margarita themed! 🍹

My review of this salon is this.The salon nice looking inside and out. Location is convenient.The Mens Hair cut I received was a bad version of a Hi and Tight militaryhair cut for 30$ that when I got to my car was not even at all.There is still uneven hairs all around my head. I went back in to havethe same person, I can not call here a stylist, address this problem.She touched only the largely obvious spots where it was large patches of hairnot even. Now home I see still yet more patches not even, stray hairs all over my head sticking out. This all could have been taken care of by going over my head with the clippers more than 1 time trying to rush me out. She didnt even have a client waiting. She simply ran to eat.I would not recommend this salon to any man wanting a hair cut you can call good.

Amy is amazing!! I dont have the easiest hair to deal (very long and curly) with and she did such a great job! She took her time and didnt rush. Very friendly staff and clean salon/spa.

The staff was very friendly, but I would not recommend getting your eyebrows done here. My brows are now two different shapes and lengths. Per usual, when she finished she handed me a mirror and asked me if I liked them. I asked if she thought one was smaller than the other and she replied, “you have to remember your eyebrows are sisters not twins.” Very disappointed that I have to grow my eyebrows out now. Will not be returning.

This has been the best experience I have ever had! I almost fell asleep! I had never been to a day spa before this. Now I really want to go back. My husband bought me the spa package just for her. I am going to have to get him the hour massage. It was amazing!!!

Great Place, Nice People, decent haircut. And, that is where it ends. Im a guy, and I got a haircut this place. No shampoo, no style, no blow dry, nothing... $40.00.... I actually thought they rang me up incorrectly, Im not cheap, and im not poor, but were not in Beverly HIlls, this is Albany, Oregon. Nobody, can give a $40 mens haircut. BRUTALLY OVERPRICED.

Ashley did my hair after i foolishly tried to bleach it myself. I came in for a consultation and told her what I wanted and went over price. Late that day I came back and she got me done super fast and totally fixed my hair. The only thing that I would mark her down for would be that i asked for more of a balayage and she did a full weave, which did turn out amazing. Still love my hair but I do wish she would have double checked what I wanted if she didn’t remember. -posted from my husband’s account.

The Fourteenth Avenue salon gave me the absolute worst haircut I have ever received. I specifically asked for a stacked bob, and to not remove much length from my hair. Rather than listen, my stylist unevenly chopped off my hair, leaving a ‘V’ shape on my left side with my hair. Not to mention, the whole cut was uneven. When I called, I put my mom on the phone and they were homophobic to her and her partner (who is a woman), refusing to speak to either of my parents (one of which also did not receive what she asked for on her hair). I have never encountered such an unprofessional manager to speak to, she was rude, defensive, and used the argument “everyone does hair differently, you just have to live with what you got.” What I thought was an a amazing service did nothing but disappoint me. I will never give them my money, time, or energy again.

Haircut was equal to the price. Massages were MORE than worth the price. My massages were by Annie and she is absolutely AMAZING!

LISA is a new stylist at this salon and I will never use them again because of her. Total scam. She was under the impression that I wanted a full weave of color in my hair, I corrected her before she even started that I want her to bleach all over instead and then tone as close to platinum as she could, (my hair is already blonde). She proceeded to dye ONLY the roots blonde, leaving a yellow band around my crown and the rest of my hair was left platinum to the ends! She then stated I needed to come to her again for her to fix it further... as I was checking out they stated the cost for her to simply bleach my roots and trim my hair was $180! I questioned them if this was correct and they said yes! I should have fought them further at that point! I had to call back and request a receipt later to see she had charged me for a FULL WEAVE! I had to serve in the National Guard a day later, imagine my mortification at having a bright gold halo band in my hair in my military uniform and looking incredibly unprofessional. Tried to work with Lisa and my bank but no dice, I have had to pay another hundred dollars to try to fix this without frying my hair. Total scam. So thank you for wasting $280 dollars of my money for something I could have done better at home. Lisa is a scam artist. Shame on you, Fourteenth Ave. I’ll take my business elsewhere from now on. Don’t be taken for a fool and made to look ridiculous like I was.

This salon is beautiful and relaxing. Im always happy with my hair when I walk out of there.

New to area and looking for quality spa. Everyone there is very friendly and accommodating. Facilities are very nice. . My issues were more with quality of hand formed gel nails which were way to thick and uneven. The spa area is not set up for privacy between men and women. Neither is the two bathroom/shower areas where you change and keep your clothes. A lot of the techs do a variety of tasks which I feel doesnt allow for them to get quality experience in certain areas. You can see more of my detailed review on their Facebook page. I would give them a better rating on Google, but in the past 24 hrs after my Facebook review, there is now suddenly a rash of 5 star reviews, I guess to counter my 2 star. Half of them work there if you check and a couple others appear to be friends from high school. I find this very dishonest. May have given them another chance, but not now. Especially since one of the 5 stars is from tech who did my nails. Its too bad.

I needed to find a new Salon closer to home with a talented stylist, which is exactly what I found at Fourteenth Ave Salon & Spa. The location is great, the atmosphere inside is calming, the prices for services are reasonable, they have a wide variety of products and their staff is educated and friendly. My stylist was Elydia and she was both efficient and did great quality work. She also took the time to style my hair just the way I like it, as well as guide me to the right heat protectant for my hair. They’ve earned my continued business.

Treena gave me some rad highlights! I was, and still am, so happy with how it turned out. She really nailed it, and she was a blast to talk to too.

Ashley Rowe is so amazing. She is kind, caring, and quick. However Elydia is beyond unprofessional. I would not take my dog to see her.

My pedicure has lasted SO long! My feet were so soft for a few weeks and the polish has basically lasted a month, which never happens (and it was just regular polish, not gel!)

Awful..first appointments with them, kept myself and my boyriend waiting 15 minutes. Follow up with manager was worse. I was looking for a full service salon, as I just moved to Albany, not going to happen here.

Scheduled my appointment a month in advance because they are so short staffed, they never have any openings. I then confirmed my appointment the day before. THEN, less than an hour before my appointment, they called and told me they do not have anyone available to do my appointment.
