I really enjoy going here. At first I was alittle salty because the Manchester location had closed. However, now that Im getting used to this gym I am very satisfied with it. Staff are very nice. And most of the gym goers are friendly and respectful.

The cinema theater alone sells it for me. I love cardio but when watching a movie while running I dont feel tired as fast.

Husband goes here he likes it. Im not really a woman for the gym myself but he said they have decent machines! He gives them a 7 out of 10

This fun is always clean. Has friendly and supportive staff and trainers. Little to no waiting for the machines and a 2 lane lap pool. The membership prices-especially with the pool are completely reasonable and you can select a plan for your needs. I am on a journey and I am glad Gold’s is there to support me.

The equipment is new and the actions are smooth. The dumbells go up to 200 (I think) and the staff are knowledgeable.

I arrived for an appt 5 mins before my scheduled time. I was told the trainer was running behind. The front desk staff wasnt very friendly and I was told about the delay when I arrived, no phone call/text before. I waited 35 minutes and still wasnt seen so I left. The environment wasnt friendly and having someone wait 35 mins is unprofessional.

Good place. Got most everything that I need. Only thing I have an issue with is the staff yelling at people and shaming people for not wearing a mask.

Started working out here around mid August this year. I was nervous at first, but Golds Gym is very welcoming and has a lot of great equipment for plenty of different exercises.

Great gym, lots of options for training. Met with Taylor for a consultation. She was amazing! very thorough, understanding and made me feel comfortable as I am trying to get back in the game of being in shape after a long break. She made me feel inspired and was very positive. Speaking of positive I was positively and absolutely sore for days after meeting and working with her which just made me feel even more I needed her and she is just the right person for you to meet with if you are ready to make a positive change and don’t know where to start!

The gym is beautiful! Super clean, open, well thought out. Its exactly what I need for my home physical therapy plan.

Super clean. Always someone at the front desk. The fact they have childcare (has set hours/check Facebook page for covid updates) is a MASSIVE win for this single momma!!They also have drinks and I thought I saw they can make shakes also!!Of course there are plans to fit your budget. Cleaning stations in convenient locations along with towel drops when youre done.Bathrooms are clean and well maintained.Water fountains and can I just say the Compel team is UH-MAZING in the York Galleria Golds Gym!! Trainers are badass and so supportive of what you need. Their actions speak louder than my words. Try them out, you will not regret it! They will match you and exceed your standard!

Enjoy the facility and use it almost daily. My only issue is that the trainers will rush around and hijack equipment you are using without asking. This is most evident with cable attachments. I have had them walk up between sets and take the attachment I was using on multiple occasions. I understand they are on the clock with their clients, but that is no excuse to be inconsiderate of others.

A wide variety of group classes and equipment. I have liked every instructor I have had there. My husband is impressed with the equipment they have. The pool may be small but its still long enough and serviceable. I like the other services they off too like the kids club, cardio cinema, and smoothies. They arent quite as cleanliness oriented as my last gym, but they arent dirty. Also they had some temperature/humidity problems this summer but they are working on them since they are fairly new to the location. Happy I switched here.

Closed and continue to bill for membership fees. All other gyms in the area put members first and put a temporary freeze on accounts. GreedyGo somewhere that cares about their customers in this quarantine. Crunch and JCC both froze memberships until the quarantine is over.The gym is dirty, they do not have any wipes to clean equipment. You can get a towel at the front desk but no cleaning material until 5 days before the closure.

Clean and updated facilities. Staff is helpful and polite. Even the personal trainers will help with questions about your workouts although they are reserved specifically for their own paying clients. Separate rooms for spin classes, yoga, etc. The Galleria gym offers child care, 4-lane pool, hot tub and sauna.

Good variety of well maintained equipment. Usually little to no waiting. Enjoyable theater setting for enjoying a movie while warming up! Havent used the pool yet.

I really love this gym! The staff is friendly, the facility is always clean and they have SO many machines to workout on! I never wait for machines which is very nice in comparison too planet fitness. Thanks for being an awesome gym!

I got turned around in the pool for almost two hours and that is why I have two stars and not one or three when they did find me I was startled and asked how they could leave me in the pool so long and they told me i had been standing in the shower for a long time and they been trying to get me out for almost thirty minutes.If I wasnt in the pool then how come I was so wet?

Love the pool classes.The whirlpoolfeels wonderful. It would be nice if a sign was posted by the whirlpool stating no oil or lotion on people getting in whirlpool. They make the pool water tofoamy+ I dont think that water is clean.

Nice, clean, organized gym! I especially enjoy the GGX classes!!! They have great instructors that give awesome energy to the classes with fun music & dynamic! 😁👍🏻

I signed up at this gym today after taking a tour with the manager, Melissa Faust. She was so informative and had a great personality. I’m extremely impressed so far. I’ve toured at 3 different gyms before this one and compared all the pros/cons for each. I have 4 kids so adequate child care, a safe child care room and cleanliness was a MUST. They hit the mark for all my expectations. Child care is included in my membership. Which is only $39.95 a month. They have a cinema room where they play movies and dim the lights to workout in. Fitness classes. A pool and hot tub. Sauna. And I get to go to all of their locations which was big for me. You get a free fitness assessment and 1 hour session with a personal trainer, my appointment is for tomorrow. Other gyms I toured either had no childcare, were dirty, machines were old and broken, were over crowded and a few other undesirables. I’d like to make it clear, after reading another review, that I was made well aware that I was signing myself up for a 12 month membership. The same amount of money will come out of my bank account monthly for the next 12 months and then it will switch to a month to month basis. This was explained thoroughly and I even had to initial and sign my membership forms. So for someone to be angry and say you cannot cancel and they drain your account is ridiculous. You know what you are signing up for. I hope as I continue to use this gym, that my perception of it doesn’t change. I am extremely pleased thus far. If you are looking into a membership, all you have to do is ask for a free temporary pass and they will gladly give you one! If you decide to get a membership, please mention my name, as I will get perks for a referral! :-)

Ive been a member of Golds Gym since the late 90s gave up for a while but now Im back and I love going to the different locations enjoy my workouts the personal trainers are a little pricey but if you can afford it go for it theyre terrific at their job

Love golds gym but wish they turn the fans off in winter time lol. And wish the ppl that go there would put the weights back where they go. If it says 10lbs then thats what goes there not a 5lb or 45lb or ect. Ashame ppl just dont know how to clean up after themselves. Id hate to see there homes
