Love going to Planet Fitness. It is clean, the employees are friendly and members exercise without distractions. It is a pleasant atmosphere. If you want to take a shower after your workout, the showers are great!

Manager)2)AutumnThese two individual went out of their way to make sure my question(s) were answered and problems resolved, not only quickly, but with smiles on their faces. Ive no doubt that their people skills will carry them as far as they want to go, so, Planet Fitness, youre on notice, take good care of these two. They represent Planet Fitness extremely well and employees like them are getting harder to find these days!! GREAT JOB!!!

It was my first time there. The tanning beds and rooms were very clean and the beds where in good working order. I will be coming back a lot.

Great place to work out, staff is nice, and there are plenty of options, like any chain gym, avoid the busy times....which are usually 3 to 7

All new cardio equipment and plenty of open machines...

Smaller location but has all of the essentials. Dumbbells go up to 75lbs, lots of cardio equipment but pretty limited selection of strength training machines. Staff were friendly and the facility was cleanly overall.

Member since 2018 and absolutely love this gym, friendly, caring staff and always very clean. There are many disinfectant stations set up with spray to keep all equipment clean and sanitized, plus hand sanitizer. The employees are doing an amazing job running a covid free facility thats clean, organized and always puts customer first.

Smaller PF. Very cramped. Too much of an emphasis on cardio.

I was worried about returning to the gym for a safe workout, so I was pleased that my fears have been unfounded. Wearing masks and cleaning of equipment are required and social distancing is easily accomplished. Im so happy to be back! I feel perfectly safe!

I canceled my membership because I dont want to wear a mask while exercising. Now I use local parks and my dogs motivate me.

Very small location strange set up for equipment. Very few equipment sanitation stations. Ive been to many planet fitness locations and this one did not Live up to my expectations. Despite living right down the street from this location I will be going to the Columbia location which is about a 1/2 an hour drive from my house but well worth the drive for a better Workout experience

These people opened the gym never notified me, spoke to a gm and supposedly my account was frozen and still continued to get charged. Worst experience in a gym thats not even fully equipped where people have favorites with certain customers. Better off going to crunch. PF is cheap for a reason and the GM is very inconsiderate asking if i have proof of her staff speaking to me on the phone. SMH the list goes on

This facility is one of the better Planet Fitness gyms in Pennsylvania. The facility is always clean, the weights are usually in place where they are supposed to be. It doesnt smell like a high school locker room. I am leaving this review on July 21st, 2020 during the covid-19 pandemic. Even during peak hours there arent usually more than 20 people in the building. This makes this an ideal place to get your workout routine in without the risk of being exposed to the virus. They Supply you with plenty of disinfectant and hand sanitizer for your safety. You can come and work out here with confidence.

This is the first ever gum I have gone to. I am very happy with the size, location, cleanliness, friendly staff and the selection of equipment. There is a hydro massage machine and tanning booths on premises. I feel comfortable and the price is very affordable 👍🏻👍🏻

Temporarily closed. Was very crowded when I went. Alot of the sanitizing stations were out of paper towels and the staff was not particularly friendly. I travel alot and this was not one of the best PF I have been to.

I used to go to the Planet Fitness when I lived in Baltimore. I loved that it stayed open 24/7. This one however doesnt. I only have time to work out late nights Friday-Sunday.I gave three stars because it is clean and wasnt crowded.

I really enjoy this location and this is coming from someone who is very uncomfortable around alot of people... let alone working out next to strangers. My ONLY complaint is the bathrooms. They are really gross. The locker room, showers, everything else is perfect. So Im shocked that the bathrooms make me think of a dirty gas station every time.

I really enjoy the feature services they offer. Love having my black card to give me more access to other perks. I feel great about coming to the gym. The many workout circuits they have all day long is awesome. Kids in school I can get away for a couple sessions and be back home in time to cook lunch 😍😍😎

I had signed up yesterday online but accidentally chose the wrong location as my home gym. I asked to have it changed and was told that typically you have to stay with original home gym for 60 days but the woman at the counter was nice enough to work around that. The gym is clean. Staff is super friendly. Definitely recommend!! I love that they also didnt give me any issue at all about bringing my daughter with me as a guest. I had purchased the black card specifically for the purpose of bringing her along but good to know that I have access to the hydro beds, tanning and massage chairs while she does her workouts! I love this place. Also love the price!

Honestly it was one of my favorite places to work. It was so laid back and I loved my co workers. Highly recommend

Clean. Everything works in perfect condition. They are always upgrading something around here! Fun, motivational signs on every wall. PF East seems to be quieter than PF West. Very clean restrooms, showers, nice lockers, friendly staff... The black card membership offers unlimited use of the hydromassage bed, which there are 2.

Very courteous staff. Friendly and helpful. They have excellent full body exercise programs that are free to attend for members. All of these programs are directed by a certified fitness instructor who is also very friendly and helpful.The Design your own Program with their fitness instructor is no joke! Its pretty serious and directed at you!

Easy to get in and out with a good workout. Motivation required

Was going to go as a guest(with someone who has a membership) they said they had to take some information since I havent been there before. They asked for my name, date of birth, and then my address.... I said not applicable to the address so the general manager said I couldnt work out without providing that information... I leftHow the heck is my address relevant to me signing a waiver and working out. Thats my private info that I shouldnt have to share to use a guest pass would not reccomend.

Transferred my account up here from Westminster, was able to use the gym same day, so was very happy. Was told it can take some time for the transfer to take place so was pleasantly surprised. Worried that it would be very crowded, due to the fact it is a smaller site, but rarely have to wait to get on a machine. Free weights are little tougher to use, but not horrible. Staff has been nothing but helpful and friendly since i joined. Very happy so far.

Doesn’t really live up to my expectations as a gym, the bathrooms are sometimes clean one day and dirty and smelly another day, the staff especially at night time doesn’t seem to care and doesn’t check and clean everything like they used to. Plus there’s so many different people that goes there due to the dirt cheap prices that we get some really bad machine hogs and some people who are creepy and just don’t show any decency which the staff doesn’t do anything about it. I’m switching to the GOLDs in queensgate as it proves to be the better gym.

Super chill and friendly location. They arent strict about a dress code and Ive never heard the lunk alarm go off once in the past 2.5 years Ive been going there. I wish there was more strength training equipment and less cardio equipment taking up the space, but aside from that it is fantastic.

I have been going to PF for at least 8yrs now. In Maryland and Pennsylvania. I LOVE IT!

Great gym great price but they need to do something about the people who sit on a machine for 20 minutes on their phones. Also they need another one of the twisting machines near the pull up machine. Its always busy.

Good large gym overall. Theres a lot of people there who are pretty ripped and no one gives them a hard time about it. No lunk alarms so far and everyone is very pleasant.

Moved from MD to Pa was looking for a good home club to transfer to..the staff are friendly and the club is clean. They were also very friendly and accomodating to my daughter who was visiting. THANK U...I will be making this my new home club.

After attending this gym with a friend I was interested in joining, unfortunately they require access to your checking account in order to give you a membership. After hearing several complaints about billing issues I am not comfortable doing that. Ill consider joining when they change this policy.

Average experience here. Way too small for this town. West York is setup better. Very crowded during peek hours and hard to get a bench sometimes. Good for keeping a simple workout but, no exercise balls is very odd for any gym. I think worrying about if you breath too hard or drop a weight is going to get you reprimanded is kind of juvenile. Lighten up PF.

Ive moved 6 times in the last 8 years so Ive been to a lot of PF locations. This is the only location Ive been to where groups of cackling women and meat heads sit on the same equipment in the 30 minute circuit for almost an hour... Not just once....but every day Ive been there for a week straight this happens.. And the staff does nothing about it because its hiding in a back corner away from the socializing at the front desk. 👎

I love this gym, I just started like a month ago and its exactly how its advertised, nobody judges you. They have great machines and other accessories. Just an all around good gym. Im super excited that I signed up for this gym!! Thanks planet fitness for giving me a nice place to work out for a decent price!!! I do wish evetybody would clean off the equipment when done, but thats not the gyms fault. Always a ignorant person every where. Also a great staff!!

Cheapest gym Ive found, the hours are great, staff is friendly and helpful, and it has plenty of cardio and workout machines to go around.

Unfortunately this place is full of racism. I been trying to apply for a position in this place since august 2017. Like i said about the other planet fitness in the west york if you have favoritism about applicants just post it on the application. Racism is a right this days not a choice.

I have had so many problems with this gym membership that I would never recommend Planet Fitness to anyone. I called and cancelled my membership in late June of 2011. I found out that I was pregnant and was told too much activity wasnt good for my baby. So when I was forwarded mail from Planet fitness from my previous address in York, PA I saw that my membership had NOT been cancelled. I called the gym and spoke with someone named Samantha who told me I had to come into the gym OR send a certified letter(not what I was told before when i cancelled my membership). She could not give me the information I needed and instead of giving me the corp. phone # I asked for, I was told to get it off Google. I called the corp. headquarters and was told I needed to speak to the gym manager(Why Samantha didnt tell me this I have no idea). So I am still waiting to hear about the $200++ bill that shouldnt have been billed in the first place. Needless to say I will never do business with Planet Fitness again, and would highly recommend Golds Gym for future gymming purpouses ;)
