So Im pretty sad to be writing this especially since the first experience went so well. I received a perfect color with a single application while coming from a two toned color and an absolutely perfect cut ( I usually take a day or two to LOVE my hair) after getting it done I left there and I could not stop smiling. However this experience was so horrible and traumatizing I was advised I should let my story be known. I am going to attach a photo to show just one section of my scalp after this experience.I booked an apt and spoke about highlights in my hair ( now I am not a person who knows much about hair or hair care) I was unsure if it was a full head of highlights or half a head when asked but I had a photo of myself in the exact color I wanted which I sent a photo of a week prior and provided at apt. They bleached my hair, twice and on the toner (I was told thats what it must have been because I know I said no to a third bleaching for sure) my scalp was burning very bad, I was fanning my head because I couldnt take the pain, I said something and it wasnt taken very seriously I guess because I was later told it should have been immediately washed out. I went back the next day to speak with them and they looked at it and simply said I must have a sensitive scalp and to see a doctor. I tried to explain that when booking the apt we spoke about highlights, I said my scalp was burning and that Ive dyed my hair both professionally and personally and have NEVER experienced a reaction of any kind. I was again met with a response of You must have a sensitive scalp. At this point I simply left - many have told me I should have asked for my money back since it did cost me $175 after using a $50 gift card and of course I tipped but I did not want to cause a scene in the business. After learning just how much my hair was actually damaged I would never recommend this place for hair.

This is my first time back after a solid year of lockdown and Ivy nails did not disappoint! Excellent Covid protocols in place and I felt extremely safe and comfortable and my hands and feet look fantastic!

Im now editing my post. The one time i didnt tip the woman gracie messed up my nails do bad. I sat under the dryer for 10 minutes so there is no reason they should be wet but this is horrible, do they understand tips arent required??? Im so disgusted Ill never go back here

Love this place. I get the gel dip and they do an EXCELLENT job. Gel dip can be really thick at some places, but here they do a good job at blending it and thinking it out.

I had a very good time having a manicure and pedicure done. They were courteous and very professional about their jobs and the place is clean.

I am extremely impressed by the level of care and prevention this business is taking while operating during Covid. All staff in masks, face shields and gloves. Partitions up, number of guests down. Outdoor seating provided for safe waiting. Our temperatures were taken upon arrival. We were provided with hand sanitizer instantly and soon instructed to wash our hands and offered gloves for our hands while they did our pedicures. They sprayed and wipes all surfaces in between guests. This was such a pleasant experience during a difficult time.

The salon is very clean and has been configured with relation to the current pandemic situation. Staff provides excellent service and are very friendly.

Its a bit pricey but the Covid mandated regulations are on point. Temperature check, Questionnaire check, Washing your hands check, Selecting a color with gloves on check. If you want Covid Safety, this is the place. I will comeback

I really appreciate the safety precautions that are taken at Ivy Nail Spa! From the time you arrive they are sanitizing, checking your temp, having you wash your hands, and even wearing disposable gloves they provide when selecting a nail color. I was able to relax and enjoy my service while feeling comfortable that we are all being as safe as possible during these Covid times.They took their time and there weren’t too many customers in the salon at one time which was also nice. Lots of space & they remodeled and it looks great.Will deff be back! 😊

I went for a Brazilian wax for the first time since February and I needed it bad. This place has taken the extra step to make sure you are safe for the health of others and yourself. Very clean and professional. Did a great job and pain was tolerable.

My cousin and I took my aunt here for Mothers Day (ended up choosing this salon based on their high review ratings) and we were so happy that we did. The salon was clean and the staff was very friendly and attentive. But I must say the real MVP of the day was Jessica. The salon was slightly under staff that day and Jessica made it a point to make it feel like neither me or my cousin had to wait to be attended to. She recommended the powder verses the UV (which we both loved), and she held great conversation. Overall a very relaxing and enjoyable experience; the three of us left the salon very satisfied. Will definitely be back!

It is very clean and organized inside. The workers are very nice and caring. I got my nails done from this worker and her name is Ann. She’s great and she did a fantastic job. If you are coming to this store for the first time I recommend you to ask for Ann!

James for massage pedicure & Ann for SNS nails (my 1st time) and Suzie overall to help, were very patient and accommodating toward me. Im a first time customer whos disabled and they gave me a lot of love. The pedicure was the best Ive ever had! My left foot hasnt moved the way it did today ever before and I owe that all to James amazing hands! Awesome foot massage technique + the back massage. It was Everything!! When youve had a stroke and you cant move your foot and arm normally, youre extremely conscious about everything esp your scars. Its not easy finding a place thats so welcoming with empathy and compassion. Its a bonus that theyre located in my neighborhood. I found a Gem!! Best Christmas present to myself! Ill definitely be back. xo

I have been going there since 2017 I tried everybody but my main ones are grace and Ann they do a great job and Jessica is a great nail tech too I wouldn’t trade this salon for anything they always try to fit you in the schedule.... there’s nothing like Ivys nail salon I had tried others nails salon and nothing compared to them. Their prices are good they girls are good and the environment is great

I went for a pedicure and manicure. I had the foil on my hands to remove the powder. I sat for my pedicure and the lady rolled up my pants once I assumed she was going to keep the water low or roll the pants up highet. nope ! My pants were all wet ! I spoke to the owner and showed her and all she said was sorry. Mind you its winter! My hands were burning since they had the Acetone for 30 mins. I will never go back there every again. I have all my 3 sisters going there not anymore !

Just started going here recently after a friend brought me. The staff is absolutely fantastic! Way nicer than my old place. Its also a big space so I never feel cramped when theres a wait. I feel more comfortable here already than the place I went to in Pelham for over a year. Keep it up!!

Place is clean BUT pedicure is very mediocre.I suffer from bad in grown nails from time to time and often get my relief from properly done pedicures. Unfortunately, the workers here dont seem to know how to properly cut the sides of toenails deep enough to relieve some of my pain. Ive gotten pedicures from atleast four different workers here and have asked for the same thing but never gotten the result Im looking for.My last experience was so bad I didnt even bother letting them paint my nails -- I took my loss, went to another nail salon, got another pedicure and got it done correctly.

I do not like to write negative comments about anyone’s business. So I’m going to say they people that work here have great customer service. My friend recommended me to Jessica to do my lashes because I like how her lashes looked. When I got there they were pretty nice. I laid down got my lashes done but when I got up and looked into the mirror I asked if her if this was it because it didn’t look like I had any lashes on. She told me it 7:15 and they are closed. I paid my $90 and gave her $10 tip. As soon as I got into the car I called my friend FaceTime and she could barely tell that I had lashes. I was very upset. I followed all the directions she gave me on the card and within 3 days it looked like I needed a fill in. I was so disappointed!! I will never go to them again. I felt rushed and after the fact she said you could have chosen the thicker lashes; first of all she didn’t offer any other options until after the appointment was done. As I said they are friendly but my lashes did not look good and plus they did not last.

The professionalism of the store owner, Jessica is unmatched! Her staff is just as amazing and professional as she is. There is not only ample parking, but the venue is incredibly clean, cozy and inviting. If you would like pampering on a decent budget, you will NOT be disappointed at your experience at Ivy Nail & Hair Spa. I will gladly make the commute to Yonkers

Its open on Sundays! Usually I dont have time for a mani/pedi on Sundays.Needed a nearby place and I couldnt have asked for a better experience.Good job ladies! Love the color selection. Next time I will do powder gel.Did I mention they are open on Sundays?!? Plus, if you like you can get an amazing shoulder massage while you are there.

The staff was very friendly & very patient with me because I took quite a while to choose a color! I got a regular pedicure ($20) from James who was also a masseuse, he did a wonderful job. I also got SNS Powder Gel ($35, charging $40 Aug 1st) on my real nails, which are quite long. Jessica, who was the manager, did my nails & she did great. She changed my nail shape from Almond to Coffin & was very thorough. My only complaint was that the colors to choose from weren’t that diverse. Other than that, the staff was friendly, place was clean, & they did a nice job!

I found Ivy nails on Instagram and thought to give them a try since it’s just a walk away from home. I walked and was welcomed by the door. I got a pedicure and full set of acrylic nails. I’m not easily impressed with anyone who does my nails but Cindy did a great job. I will be back!

The place is neat and the staff is great!! I showed up without an appointment and they did not hesitate to fit me in. My mani lasted a week before I saw the first chip which is great since I wash my hands about 50 times a day. (Work in the medical field) I highly recommend this place!!

Very uncomfortable!Went back to get my nails fixed after horrible service by Ester. Jessica worked on my nails to fixed Esters horrible nails and she wanted to charge me for a tip Easter charged me for the week before. I left, toes not fixed and 2 nails broke the next day.Never again!

Looking for a new nail salon and based on reviews decided to come here. Place is very clean and staff are friendly. The manicurist took her time giving me a pedicure (not sure if it was because it was empty). She did a good job. She started to give me a manicure not rushing which I was glad about. Then she began to rush and at first I didn’t know why. Come to realize a long time customer came in and she was rushing to finish with me to take the other customer. I overheard her when she said, “ I hope I didn’t make you wait too long”. That was a disappointment to me because regardless I am a paying customer as well.Also they need to put a business sign up because at first I couldn’t find it because there was no signOverall I’ll give it a try again.

I have never written a review about a place ever, but I have to write this. I came here about two weeks ago for a gel mani and regular pedi. My manicure and pedicure looked as if I did it at home myself. My gel manicure started chipping in less than a week and it was all rushed. The lady ( I don’t wanna say names) was rushing everything.I now have an infection on my middle fingernail because of this place. I know it was because of this place because I had an ingrown nail and the lady that was doing my nails pushed my cuticles back and did not cut any of it. Cuticles were not cut after being told I would please like them cut. I didn’t even see them clean their utensils (which is my fault for not paying attention or asking). Oh and my pedicure chipped the next day!Oh! And as I was leaving and had given the lady her tip (even after her doing a horrible job) I said ok thanks have a nice day and she didn’t even look at me and walked away. I’m guessing it’s because she wasn’t satisfied with the tip. I don’t know. Point is NEVERRR AGAIN!!

My daughter recommended this place & I love it. They r very nice people who do an excellent job. They r a full service place with whom u always feel welcome I always leave with a pep in my step. James give fabulous massages. Jessica does the individual eyelashes. Even an accidental double booking was handle diplomatically by Jessica who made everybody happy. After a mani by Grace pedi & massage you will leave feeling great too. AND u cant beat all the parking available.

I took some time to think this over and I have decided to write a review.1st, Before today I would have rated Ivy a 5🌟 but unfortunately I can no longer support this rating.2nd, the only 5🌟 that I am giving is to JACKIE their nail technician who has completed 4 consecutive and consistent results for both my powder gels and pedicures (only twice for the toes.) My nails grew out beautifully every time. What I enjoy most about Jackie is she doesn’t make me feel rushed or just a price ticket. She’s kind and personable. If you are a perfectionist like me, she’s legit. Shout out to Jackie!3rd, After today’s nail service with Jackie, I was addressed by Jessica (the manager,nice and creative girl) she was requesting I see someone new because Jackie is too slow and it’s becoming a real problem with making customers upset.Ok. Wait a minute. In public, out loud she is saying this for the entire salon to over hear.Then my response was calm and constructive, I recommended she offer more training to Jackie if she feels her timing is slow.because at the end of the day, I’m still choosing to see Jackie. And that’s what I then said to Jessica.Jessica proceeds to repeat herself but this time she demanded I see someone else (aka I did not have a choice so the request was out the door) then adding,”Jackie doesn’t want to work with you. It’s ok.”👀In walks Jackie from her table to collect the $40.00 TIP I am ready to hand her, tears in her eyes, tells me “my boss told me not to work with you but I want to work with you. It’s like when you get your clients. Some people have more hair, you spend more time. Some people you spend less time.” I nodded and agreed outloud, “yes this is very true.”I could tell she felt helpless and powerless in her situation.Side Note: I tip Jackie $30-$40 each time, so she’s very upset to be in this situation with a customer who is very giving for her hard work.I shook her hand and squeezed it giving her love and kindness because this was a horrific experience for her.I cannot believe I’m writing this but.... need I say more?It’s not done yet... sigh4th, I left telling Jessica straight to her eyes she handled that very poorly and she had no response. How embarrassed she has made Jackie feel. Every single person was silent in that salon. It was a damn shame.5th, my nails look great and my toes feel amazing. Horrible. They were rude and asked for a tip!!! They were very aggressive with the pedicure and the pedicure only lasted 10 minutes. They hurt us and their idea of massage is grabbing and pinching. Dont go here.
