The staff are warm, friendly, and professional. They were honest about my situation when I was a new patient, unlike other dentists I visited. The office is consistently very clean. Thank you.

BE AWARE!!!I visited this dentist for the first time back in May for a routine cleaning and overall checkup. My first red flag should have been how disorganized and unprofessional the receptionists were. I was greeted very coldly and was kept waiting for an hour before I was even brought back, long after completing paper work. Keep in mind I had an 8am appointment.After finally being taken back I was left waiting on the exam chair for another thirty minutes before even being greeted? The hygienist was clearly new, which isn’t a problem, except I had to correct her on my history and why I was there multiple times. She was very timid and kept asking another hygienist how to use equipment and if she was doing things correctly. What the hell?After X-rays I waited another 15-30 minutes before even getting a cleaning and scaling. The dentist came in and left me with more questions than answers. I expressed concerns about bleeding gums and a possible cavity. I was told everything was perfect, then left alone for ANOTHER 10 minutes before I was told to go. I had to ASK for fluoride and clarification on my exam. I left very displeased.THIS GETS BETTER— over the last three months, the spot I suspected a cavity got very sensitive so I got a second opinion from a much better dentist. I was told that cavity had been there for awhile and exposed a nerve. CLEARLY missed by my last dentist appointment and shocked my new provider as to how it was even missed. I was also told there was tartar build up, which shouldn’t be that bad after a recent cleaning.In conclusion… This place is lousy, unprofessional, and are more focused on getting you in and out. BE AWARE YOUR HEALTH IS NOT IN THEIR INTEREST.

I was relieved after my visit last week that everyone I came in contact with at this dental office was kind and helpful. Luis was my dental hygienist and he was awesome! He explained everything he was doing and educated me on his findings! Tiaysia was his assistant and she was so kind from the minute she called me back until she walked me out. She also did a very good job on my X-rays! Kris was insanely helpful after my insurance had made an error and she spent time getting it sorted out with them! I also enjoyed my interaction with Dr. Lee! I was very happy with my service and I’m glad to have found a dental office that makes me comfortable!

I have been using Hickory Flat Dental for a long time. Dr. Lee and his staff are very friendly. The Dental Hygienist, Luis is very thorough and fast. I will never go anywhere else. Also always great music playing. I highly recommend them.

I used this dentist because they work with my insurance. I drive an hour to get here each way. Every single appointment so far I have been here on time and they take more than 30 minutes to take my family back to start the work. Today they took one hour due to a “computer error”or something like that. Basically we got overlooked. Then they made my child sit in the chair and wait another hour before they even started. Just like most people we take time off from work and get kids out of school for these appointments. If you have to use this dentist please expect long waits and don’t use them if you don’t have to.

I absolutely love coming to this dental office. The staff is always friendly and willing to help. I came to this clinic after having a previous bad experience at another dental office and I havent regret the decision, yet. They are also great with kids, as I bring my toddler here and he says, its not so scary after all. I would highly recommend this location to anyone in the area or nearby seeking a qualified dentist office.

Sitting outside trying to figure out what to do with my child. She had an appointment at 11am. When we got here they said she doesn’t have an appointment. Even showing them the confirmation email still no appointment… what kind of bs is that.This is the 2nd time my family is having a bad experience at this place.People are RUDE and they don’t care losing business.

Super bad customer service! I called up to schedule and appointment and a lady by the name of Tracy had an attitude the whole time and hung up in my face. Stay away.

Dont bother with this place. They overbook like mad. You will be sitting in the lobby for around half an hour after you appointment. They are also still requiring masks, long after the guidelines have suggested that they are no longer necessary. Then once you are actually seated they rush you through so they can get on to the next appointment. Its run more like a money printing machine than a family friendly dental office.

Such a pleasant experience. I visited this dental office because I was dealing with a wisdom tooth pain for over a month. They were able to get me in very quickly which was a good thing because I was going through a lot of pain. From the moment you walk in, the staff and team were very friendly and accommodating. I had to have my wisdom tooth extracted and I heard so many horror stories before I went in but everything went very smoothly. They answered questions and explained how everything was going to go. It was a painless experience and I was able to drive home fine with no swelling or any issues. Everyone was shocked that I was doing so well throughout the day. It didnt even seem like I just had my wisdom tooth pulled out. This appointment could not have gone any better. I have already booked my next appointment and looking forward to it. I would give Hickory Flats Dental 10 Stars if I could. I have absolutely nothing negative to say. Great job guys!

I came in with a problem, and i needed a root canal. i have an aversion to dentists after bad experiences in the past. dr. lee and his amazing staff put me at ease. when i came back to have the root canal, everyone was wonderful and cool, and kept me calm. i even had a laugh during the procedure! i have never even smiled in a dentists office, much less laugh.prices and hours are very reasonable, service and communication are outstanding.i plan to make this our familys dental provider, even though were about to move over an hour away. i definitely recommend you visit this practice for your next cleaning or other dental needs!

Best dental office I’ve been to in a long time. Staff is always polite and professional. Visits are timely. Dr. Lee is amazing, you don’t feel the numbing Injection at all, he works fast and efficient. He is genuine and does not do unnecessary procedures. The best part is I don’t have to travel to multiple offices because my whole family can been seen!

Hickory flat dental always welcomes you with a smile or a friendly greeting. Your rarely wait for your appointment, they are right on time. Dr lee is amazing, very caring and patient . Luis who is the hygienist is simply amazing, I have very sensitive teeth, and he makes my appointments as painless and easy as possible. The practice is built on customer service and treating everyone with care. My entire family attends this practice and we have for years, I think almost 10 now, I wouldn’t switch for anything.

All the staff is kind and curtious they make sure Your questions are answered and the doctor is great he makes sure you are pleased with his work He has you come back to his office until you are All healed and satisfied with his work. My first visit was yesterday April 30th and I will say they treated me like I have been going there for years everything was explained on how they was going to handle my dental needs moving forward and there fees are not where you have to take out a second mortgage on your house to get your dental needs taking care of unlike dentist I have visited in the past I have no problem recommending them for anyone looking for a good dentist around hickory flat area

I LOVE Dr Lee. He is the best dentist I have ever been to. My mom even drives from Dahlonega to see him and I come from historic Roswell. Worth every minute of the drive. The office is staff is great as well!

By far the best dentist I’ve ever been to! All the staff including Dr. Lee are incredibly nice and always take the time to make sure I fully understand exactly what is going on, my dental plan, any charges, etc. I cannot express enough how amazing this dental office is!

This place is by far the kindest practice I have ever been to. The assistant was informative and genuine. Dr. Lee was upbeat, quick, compassionate and amazing. Best staff and dental office I have been to.

This was the worst dental experience I have ever had. I was a new patient visiting Dr. Lee for a routine cleaning and X-ray. The entire visit took 2 hours and at the conclusion of the visit, I still did not have my teeth cleaned.The hygienist informed me that I needed a gingivitis scrub as well as irrigation that was going to cost $85 out of pocket. Dr. Lee examined my X-rays after the first hour wait and said no issues and thanks for coming into the office. He did not even look in my mouth or examine this apparent need for a gingivitis scrub. Then I was told by the hygienist that she did not have time to clean my teeth today after another hour long wait and I had to return for the service. On top of this, I had to pay $10 out of pocket for PPE due to COVID and would be charged again upon my return in two weeks for my actual cleaning.Three weeks later I went to a different dentist with a wonderful experience and was told all the above was false. I did not have gingivitis and simply needed a routine cleaning. My teeth looked great and was told to return in 6 months for the typical bi-annual cleaning.I would strongly caution people going to this office or be on high alert as this seems like a quick money scheme for services that are not needed for many.

Everyone was very nice and good at what they did. I’ve never had so much attention payed to my teeth when dealing with any of my past dentist/dental offices. They seem to be genuinely interested with my dental care. Not just cleaning my teeth and bidding me good day. I’ve always had problems with my gums bleeding when I brush and floss. Luis Munez was my hygienist and he was the best hygienist I’ve ever had. The young man who took me back and took my x-rays was very nice. I believe his name was Gideon.(Don’t hold me to that.. lol)

While Dr Lee is an AMAZING dentist and the staff are great! I can’t see myself giving them more than 1 star for what they ended up doing to my husband and children and myself. My husband had been recently diagnosed with diabetes and it caused him some confusion and memory issues if his blood sugar was too high or low. I usually made all of our appointments but he would make some and just add them immediately to the calendar on his IPhone and I would be immediately notified since we share a family account and everything is linked. He forgot to add to the calendar and Hickory Flat Dental usually gave a 24 hour appointment reminder call (except for Monday appointments was reminded of on Fridays) they never called before his appointments to confirm the appointments even though on his patient information I made sure that the part of his new diagnosis and confusion and memory issues and requested they contact me to confirm his appointments or let me know he scheduled an appointment and my husband signed the paperwork approving this. My husband missed 2 different appointments (I was not contacted or knew of the appointments) and in the beginning they said they don’t dismiss patients unless they are constantly making and missing appointments. I HARDLY THINK 2 APPOINTMENTS ARE CONSIDERED TO BE IN THAT CATEGORY!!! They took it even further and dismissed not only my husband but my children and myself! Even though my children and I had nothing to do with it!!! I had a bad anxiety about dentist and was literally shaking at my first appointment with Dr Lee but at the end of my appointment I was comfortable with him and refused to see any other dr there. He also had the same affect on my oldest son who had a bad experience with his previous dental provider. I will miss them but at the same time I won’t if they dismiss an entire family over 2 missed appointments when they didn’t keep up on their part of confirming my husbands appointments with me or 24 hours prior like they previously have.

This place feels like a scam. I took my daughter back in August. They wouldn’t let me go back with her with no warning of this before hand. The pediatric dentist doesn’t speak English well and confused me with another child’s mother who had complicated dental issues. Hearing my child had to have a shot during a regular cleaning freaked me out. Then the dentist realized she wasn’t talking to the right parent.... would not be happening if they let us stay with our children. After that I knew I would not be taking my kids here ever again.I however decided to give them a try and ended up leaving after x-rays. Something felt completely wrong and I listened to my gut. They told me I needed a “deep cleaning” and that I had gum disease. I have been to the dentist my entire life every 6 months. Never have I been told any of this. I asked if I could just have my teeth cleaned and they refused anything other than the expensive deep clean that would have to span 2 appointments. I left. Went to hickory commons dental care and had a wonderful experience and in fact do not have gum disease. If you feel like you are being taken advantage of listen to yourself and walk away! This won’t be the only review you read like this either for this practice.....

I have taken my children here for two years now, and have been very pleased! Dr. Finkelman is so caring, and she and her team of hygienists have done a great job with some tricky dental work. Theyve converted my kids into non-dentist-haters!

My son was a little nervous about going to the dentist but not anymore. He loves going here. They make him feel comfortable and enjoy each and every visit.

I have the worst possible dental phobia ever. Dr.Lee is incredible. His bedside manner and his gentle hands are like no dentist I’ve ever experienced before. I would / do recommend him to everyone. It’s not been an easy process for me and he is committed to making sure things are perfect when we are through. His staff is always responsive, professional and respectful as well. Every person I have had contact with at HFD, the receptionist, the dental assistant, Dr. Lee and Bethany at check-out has been super friendly and professional. Dr. Lee and his staff had obviously reviewed my records and treatment plan prior to my appointment and the whole process was hassle and pain-free. I felt that my comfort and the best possible outcome for my dental health was their priority. Having a tooth extracted is never fun, but the entire experience was actually mostly pleasant.

Ive needed a lot of dental work, and I go to Hickory Flat Dental every time. The staff is all super friendly, theyll answer any questions you have, and they pretend to find my terrible jokes funny. Doctor Lee is great. There place is always busy, so here seems to be pulled in 100 directions at once, but he doesnt act rushed when hes focused on a patient, which is appreciated. I highly recommend Hickory Flat Dental to anyone who asks.

This is the worst dentist I’ve ever been to in my life. They go over the charges for an X-ray and a consult and I sign away. The assistant takes an X-ray of my mouth and tells me Dr. Lee will be in soon to review it with me and my options. About 15 minutes goes by and she walks back in and tells me dr lee reviewed the X-ray and cannot extract my tooth. And that there referring me out to an oral surgeon. didn’t I just sign for an X-ray and CONSULT? was this the consult? the assistant telling me I had to go elsewhere? Not why I have to go to an oral surgeon or what’s going on with my tooth. No information. Just a referral. Such a joke. Obviously they don’t care about patients if they’re having under qualified assistants telling me my plan of care. Then to top it all off, I get to check out and they tell me the charges. 40$ for my X-ray and “consult”. I give the lady 100$. They don’t have any change. Not a dollar. How do you run a medical practice and not have change?? Not everyone pays with a debit card. Then they offer to KEEP my money and have a credit on the account. Please tell me why do I need a credit with you people when you cant even do anything for me? Let alone send a doctor into my exam room.I really hate this place. I can’t stress enough how horrible this place is. Every single person in this office is awful. DO NOT GO HERE.

If I could give this place a 0 I would. My daughter and I went for our cleaning today. I have always had regular dental cleanings all my life every 4-6 months and my daughter as well. We arrived for our appointment and sign in. They ask for our last name and then the front desk staff starts looking around. Finally a young girl admits she deleted our online paperwork that I filled out months ago! They apologized but this really upset me. I told them wasn’t this the whole point in filling out paperwork online so we didn’t have to do it on our appointment day? So they had us fill out a shorter version of papers. Then we get called back and they brought us to a room where the hygienist is. They start doing the “pocket test” for gum disease and calling out all these numbers. Then they did x-rays. They told my daughter and I both that we needed deep cleanings and that we should be numbed up for this. I said, “no I do not want a deep cleaning and never was told I needed one.” I’m 55 years old and I don’t have a cavity in my mouth. I think I’m doing great. I understand that gum disease can lead to loss of teeth but they really put the sell on you here. They tried to scare me and my daughter both by telling us that we could lose our teeth. Dr. Winston Lee told me that if they filed a insurance claim and I had a diagnosis of periodontal disease, they would deny the claim for a regular cleaning. The young dentist that saw my daughter looked at her teeth and said, “look at all this tartar you have, it leads to cavities.” We were like, “this is why we are here!” I have never, ever been denied care at the dentist office. I’m going for a second opinion as I feel this place just wants money.

Went here as my wife comes here for years. This place charged me $100 for exam and wanted to do root canal for $1900 + $400 with no insurance. I refused and went to my regular dentist in Alpharetta paid $700 for everything including root canal. Will never go here again they are overpriced and charge a lot more then they should.Update:My wife also changed from this dentist after having problem with her tooth. DO NOT USE

I took my 4 kids and they were able to make my kids comfortable and even had a kids play room for them. The dentist was super nice and gave my kids advise on their teeth and importance of brushing at least twice a day and flossing. Completely unprofessional place of business. They called me the afternoon prior to my morning appt which I booked and received confirmation for to tell me they are canceling me and moving me 3 months later (not asking, telling very matter of factly) Not only were they not apologetic about it, they don’t care that their scheduling system doesn’t work. I booked weeks prior and had to coordinate my schedule for the day off.

Debbie at the front desk was very friendly. Sandra went over costs of all procedures with me, which I appreciate, and took a full set of x-rays painlessly. Dalina was an excellent hygienist. I had some gum disease starting and she was very patient and thorough at educating me and helping me develop a treatment plan. Dr Lee was very kind and even offered to try to fix an old partial I have that never has fit me correctly from a different dentist office. He spent a fair amount of time looking at my x-rays and discussing my need for a crown and my past dental history. It was my first time to this office and I was very impressed by the cleanliness, friendliness, gentle work, and knowledge.

Just changed dentists for the 1st time in 9 years! My 1st visit here was on Wednesday & everyone was very nice & friendly! The doctor was very helpful & honest. He gave me his recommendation & I went back this morning (Friday) to have him do a filling on my front right tooth, which was chipped. He was efficient & completed this task in less than an hour, with no pain, other than holding my mouth open for extended periods of time! 😀 He was honest in that the filling may last a year, maybe less, hopefully more! At that time I will then have to have a crown & he said they try to get the colors to match as close as possible but they may be off a little because each dentist uses different labs!! His suggestion to get the filling instead of a crown at this time saved me money. It cost me nothing because my insurance paid all of it. My previous dentist said it needed a crown & with my insurance would still be almost $1000!!! 😱I highly recommend Hickory Flat Dental!!!! 👍🏻👍🏻

This is a nice place to get your teeth cleaned. Dr Lee is the best Ive been too. He makes recommendations instead of create fear like other dentist do in order to get you to pay for something you probably dont need.

I was REFUSED a regular cleaning after I repeatedly requested to get one here. Hickory Flat Dental is assigned to me through new insurance, and is not my regular dental provider. Because I am currently 100% covered, I acquiesced against my better judgment to their INSISTENCE that I must (instead of a regular routine cleaning) receive a deep cleaning root planing service -- a service that I have never needed in my life. I received 8 shots in my mouth yesterday for this invasive procedure. For a teeth cleaning! The invoice that was to go to my insurance carrier totaled almost $3000. I expressed these concerns to staff and providers that this is harmful to patients; my mouth is killing me today. Additionally, Hickory Flat Dental LLC/Hickory Flat Dental Group LLC was administratively dissolved as a Georgia corporation back in 2016, just FYI.

The staff is so professional and attentive. My dentist was awesome. The first time I have ever been to the dentist and left there and am not afraid to go back. I had a root canal and yes I am no longer scared of the dentist. I can not rave enough about my dentist and how gentle and awesome he is! This place is a total SCAM!!I just changed Innsurance because I lost my job and my regular dentist does not accept Medicaid and this place does. They said I have “paridonal disease” lmao!! Which is very odd as I have been going for cleanings every six months for most of my life and this has never been mentioned. They wanted $800 to do a “deep clean” Medicaid does not pay for this only a regular cleaning. This office denied me of having a regular cleaning!!! I’m on Medicaid, single mom and out of work after 12 years! WOW!!

I was expecting and hoping for a decent dentist. I was greeted with exceptional service from the front to the back of this business. My teeth were thoroughly cleaned and I felt like the dentist went over every detail with me and the hygienist to. I was very impressed.

The receptionist was so very kind. She listened attentively and you could feel the care she had for each patient. The assistant was nice. I think at times she didn’t know what to say to me because she never experienced a patient with a phobia but she did her best. The technician who examined me before the Dr. came in was distant and cold, maybe it was a bad day for her. Dr. Tyree however, was very knowledgeable and comforting. I would definitely recommend this practice to my friends and family.

This office is full of friendly and talented people. This includes everyone from Dr. Winston Lee on down. I cannot help but notice the team work. These people like each other and complement each others skills. I am 70 years old, so saying this is the best dentist and staff I have ever been served by says a lot.

I came to Hickory Flat Dental for a second opinion on major dental work. It was a very wise decision because not only is the cost estimate lower, but I walked out the door with such a great comfort level of where I am headed. Every staff member I came in contact with was just as nice as could be, very knowledgeable, and seemed really care about me. Where I had gone the first time, I walked out the door with a lot of questions that are still unanswered. I would highly recommend Hickory Flat Dental.

Dr. Lee is always amazing—so professional, kind, and knowledgeable. Tessa worked with me this week, and she did a great job with my crowns.My daughter has been a patient of Dr. Soh (orthodontist), and we couldn’t be more pleased.

Dr. Tyrer is nice, knowledgeable patient, quick, and thorough. Everyone in the office is friendly and helpful and knowledgeable. I’ve never had to wait past my appt. time. I never feel rushed when I have questions. I never feel pressured to have procedures done that I don’t need. Billing is simple and easy to understand. I have had an excellent experience at this office! ☺️

We love it here! The orthodontist, Dr. Soh, is awesome! She is great with all of the patients and makes everyone feel very comfortable. My older son just got his braces off and he has had a very positive experience. My younger son has not gotten his braces yet, but his experiences with the Pediatric dentist have been nothing but positive also! The entire staff is excellent! I am so glad I was recommended here from someone else.

I am someone that avoids the dentist at all costs. Terrified doesnt even begin to cover it. When I went in to have several teeth pulled, the Dr. was so kind and understanding. He talked to me and put my mind at ease. He was wonderful! Actually, everyone at the office were wonderful!

I went because they had a deal get ur teeth cleaned for $89.. IT was a rip off they tried to charge me $500 to clean my teeth I went to another dentist it was only a 150 for what they were going to charge 500 .so I really feel that theyre just trying to make money. Oh and I was there two hours sitting in the chair waiting for them to clean my teeth and then they tell me its going to be 500.. Dont trust them!

Dr. Lee and his team have taken great care of me. You cannot beat a provider that takes personal interest in you along with great customer service. I dont feel like a customer, a number or as though I am on an assembly line. Highly recommended. Best dental office I have ever experienced.

The office staff was nice and my teeth feel real clean. My hygienist was very quiet during my visit. She only told me her name and when she was about to do work in my mouth or take an x-ray. I guess I am old school and used to the small talk while you get your teeth worked on. I also find it interesting that I have a ton of cavities when I just was at another the dentist 6 months ago and from what I remember they were only watching maybe 3 areas.

I have been a patient here few about 3 years Id say. The entire staff is always very pleasant and friendly. My hygienist, Luis is the very best I have ever had. He is gentle and does a wonderful job. I am always relaxed even with my very sensitive gums and teeth. I moved from Woodstock to Marietta and will always continue to go the extra miles to stay with Hickory Flat Dental.Dr Lee is wonderful and again gentle and relaxing. He is conscientious of his patients needs.I highly recommend this dental experience.

I found HICKORY FLAT DENTAL, about two months ago. After shopping around for a practice and dentist. Whio could provide me with not only superior care. But, be ATTENTIVE to my care andneeds as a patient. DR. LEE, and his staff, are such an amazing team. Two procedures, today. And, I did not feel one of them, at all. FAST and Quick. No gas, no putting me too sleep. Well, I still have a long way to go. But, I so glad that I found HICKORY FLAT DENTAL, IN CANTON, GA. WELL worth the drve... for GREAT DENTAL CARE.. I really like the doctor; he was very professional and knowledgeable. He worked out a plan for me to keep my dental care on track. It has been really hard to find a good doctor in my insurance network. Its like getting the golden buzzer. :-)

Absolutely amazing experience here. Dr. Truong and his assistant, Janet, delivered a stress and pain-free procedure for me! I have never in my life had a good time at the dentist office but they were very caring and did everything in their power to make me feel comfortable. Getting your teeth drilled is never fun but when the dentist is efficient and comforting along with paying full attention to his patients, that’s a 10/10 in my book! The only time any dentist has ever told me “you won’t feel a thing” and has kept that promise is a first for me, thank you!

Very satisfied with our recent visit. Both of my children had teeth extracted (wisdom and baby). The dentist and staff made us very comfortable with the procedure. The procedure was quick and efficient. Price was very reasonable.
